SEO and SEM Shortcuts, Spying and Stats to Dominate Google!

SEO and SEM Shortcuts, Spying and Stats to Dominate Google!
Search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine
marketing (SEM) are two of the most powerful and profitable
things you can do for your online business. As Google
celebrates its twelfth birthday there are Internet shoppers
than ever, with more choices than ever. So let's take a few
minutes to see how you can beat the competition and
dominate Google.

This article has three parts; Stats, Spying and Shortcuts.
Each part can be used individually or grouped to provide
quicker results. The following information is what the SEO
and SEM experts know and gives you the inside scoop on the
tools they use.

Part 1; Search Engine Stats: This will give you the latest
intel on search engines. This is to help you make informed
decisions on how to spend your SEO time and where to spend
your SEM money (search engine marketing, which includes pay
per click advertising.)

A.) Google gets nearly half of all US searches performed on
the Internet so you can bet that's at the top of our SEO to
do list. Here are the exact numbers as provided by the
"comScore for searchenginewatch.com" survey:

42.7% Google 28.0% Yahoo! 13.2% MSN 7.60% AOL 5.90% ASK
2.60% All Others Combined

B.) Now that we know how much the search engines are used
let's get some inside information to help us plan SEO and
SEM strategies. According to the UK based company
Neutralize.com, users of Google versus those of MSN are
just about polar opposites when it comes to natural versus
paid search listings. Here's what their research found:

Google: 72.3% of searchers prefer clicking on the natural
listings that SEO helps you get. Only 27.7% prefer using
the paid links you might use as part of your SEM plan.

MSN: Only 28.8% of searchers go for the natural listings
while 71.2% rely on paid links. This is almost the exact
opposite of how Google users work.

That is amazing information to have! You know right away
that your time and effort is better spent on SEO for Google
while putting your pay per click dollars into MSN is
probably your best bet.

C.) Now for the biggie; return on investment (ROI.) Once
again our friends at Neutralize have some great
information. The following numbers show the approximate ROI
that Website owners got using SEO and SEM (specifically pay
per click.) for lead generation and actual sales...

Lead Generation: * 79% SEO * 75% Paid Search (SEM)

Actual Sales: * 78% SEO * 63% Paid Search (SEM)

These are huge returns on investment. In comparison,
banners only account for about one third as many leads and
sales.

Part 2; Spying: This will show you where and how to get the
very best inside info on what all your competitors are
doing and how to beat them. It's like being handed a copy
of your competitions' online business plans. Just go to
"SpyFu.com" and take a look at some of the free information
they offer. Better yet, check out
https://www.spyfu.com/WhyBuySpyfu.aspx to see everything
you can get, free and paid. I'm a big believer in spending
wisely so for most people I would recommend just spending
the $6 for a 3 day full access package instead of paying
for a regular subscription.

Here's a blurb from the site that tells what SpyFu
offers..."Want to know which of your competitors has the
largest ad budget, or which term gets the most clicks per
day? Use SpyFu's Advanced Search to find out. Advanced
Search allows one to search by all the metrics provided on
the site and allows you to focus on the data that's most
important to you. What's more, you can save your Advanced
Search results to Excel with the click of a button."

Part 3; SEO and SEM Shortcuts: Don't confuse shortcuts with
cutting corners. Our "shortcuts" are based on finding how
the professionals do it and following in their footsteps.
When it comes to SEO and SEM, the best shortcuts to success
involve finding the best performing and least expensive
software that provides the quickest return on investment.

A.) The best SEM shortcut I know is using software to find
your top keywords and otherwise help manage your pay per
click campaign. Two of the most popular and widely used
tools are WordTracker.com and Keyword Elite.

With WordTracker.com you pay a recurring subscription fee
of $59 per month or $329 per year. I used this for a while
then bought Keyword Elite (http://www.KeywordEliteWeb.com)
for $175 because it appeared to do more and cost less than
subscribing to WordTracker. I found it to be a better deal
for my needs since there are no recurring fees and lifetime
free upgrades. But it all boils down to personal preference
here. Both products are fantastic!

B.) Picking the top SEO tool is a no brainer for me. I
retired my other three products after working with SEO
Elite (http://www.SEOeliteWeb.com) for just a few weeks.
Although I admit I was first attracted by the small price
tag of $167, it wasn't long before I tossed the more
expensive tools and just used SEO Elite. Here's what it
did, right from the start...It helped me land 121 top 5
rankings on Google within three weeks; Mostly 1's and 2's.
It also found 377 high quality link partners in the first
two weeks alone, which led to even more top rankings. This
is the same company that published Keyword Elite, which
also helped me make the initial decision. They've been a
major SEO software development player for years and the
lifetime of free upgrades with zero annual costs they offer
is that special touch that shows they can relate to people
in the world of search engine optimization.

This information can help you dominate Google, Yahoo and
MSN very quickly. Enjoy!

Keep Your Website Fresh

Keep Your Website Fresh
What site would you prefer to go to? A site that has 100
pages of content but has not been updated in a year, or a
50 page site that keeps adding new content once a week?

Search engines think the same.

As you start to build out the content on your site, space
it out and try to upload a new 200-500 word page every week.

Each one of these pages should go after a different keyword
or keyword phrase. Use the top keywords from your PPC
campaign.

We'll repeat this point since it is so important: a website
that is stagnant and has not changed content over the last
year will never lead the pack in search engines.

What are the easiest ways to add fresh content to your page?

A) Build a site that is easy to update and change.

We recommend that you build your site in a modular way.
Just think of a site built out of Lego blocks. Every page
on your site will consist of a lot of Lego blocks and you
can use the same Lego blocks on each of your pages.

Let's say for example you want to change your top header.
Most websites navigation bar at the top. If you are using a
modular site that uses Lego blocks, then one Lego block
would be for your top header. Now you can just update this
one Lego block and the header on all of your 68 pages is
automatically updated.

This will save you hours of work and make it far easier to
update your pages and keep them fresh. Fortunately, you
don't have to be a programmer to use this. Building a
modular site with Lego blocks is very easy. We cover this
in detail in the module on Site Design.

B) Add dynamic content into your site.

Dynamic content is content that automatically keeps
changing. In the past, adding dynamic content used to be
very hard but with new advancements it has become super
easy to do.

Here's an easy way to get updated content into your website
effortlessly. Let's say that you are trying to build an
expert site on "web design."

In this case, you could go to a site such as BlinkList and
automatically add the latest "web design tutorials" that
people are finding online to your site. To do this, all you
would have to do is:

1) Go to BlinkList

2) Look for the instructions on the sidebar to BROADCAST
the content.

3) Copy and paste the javascript code that is provided by
BlinkList into your site If you did the above, you would
have a section on your site that would constantly show the
latest web design tutorials that people are discovering
online.

This is not only great content for site visitors but would
also keep your site fresh and help significantly with SEO.

C) Attach a blog to your site.

Blogs are very easy to update and should be a key part of
every search engine optimization. Search engines like
Google love regularly updated, content-rich sites ' which
is exactly what blogs are!

Most blogs are updated with new articles and information on
a daily basis; over time the search engines recognize them
for their wealth of information and boost their ranking.

Blogs also contain a rich supply of links. Since bloggers
are always looking for ways to keep their blogs fresh, they
are likely to use links rather than create all the content
themselves.

Links to quality sites, including blog search engines and
directories, can lead to high search engine rankings.

If you have a great site with excellent content that
visitors love, this will start to work in your favor. If
you are just spamming search engines and not providing
value for the visitors, then Google will eventually catch
up with you.

An Introduction To Successful Online Marketing

An Introduction To Successful Online Marketing
In this article series, I am going to show you step by step
one incredibly successful method of creating an ongoing
online income. There are many ways to make a profit
online. You can open a retail store, become involved in a
network marketing company, become a broker of some kind,
use the internet to boost your offline income, trade
stocks, sell products, become a catalog wholesaler, become
an affiliate marketer, or perform any number of services
that will benefit the online market, such as web design,
lead generation, traffic specialist, software engineer, or
teach people how to do any of those things for themselves.

Some of those methods require considerable upfront income,
some do not. Some are available in a franchise format,
where you pay upfront and possibly long term, but you have
the stability of a proven system. Just about all of the
methods outlined above would require education; perhaps not
a formal education, but each of the tasks would require a
basic set of skills just to do them perfunctorily, let
alone to do them with enough skill to be paid a fulltime
income while working from home.

You see, working from home in your underwear and making a
fulltime income is a privilege, not a right. It is a
privilege to write this from home, at my desk, on my
schedule, not anyone else's. But with every privilege,
there is responsibility. I have the responsibility to
provide my readers with the very highest quality
information. Why? Because I am paid when you are
learning. I am paid when you are successful, unlike the
chap that collects 20 bucks an hour, 9-5, whether he is
productive or not.

If you are still working fulltime and dipping into internet
marketing part time or spare time, ask yourself this before
you make the plunge: Are you willing to be paid what you
are really worth? You see, online you get paid what the
market will really bear, what you are really worth. At
your current job, you may or may not be paid what you are
worth. Some days you are probably overpaid. Others, you
are sure you are underpaid. Online you are always paid for
exactly what you deliver, no more, no less.

In this series, I am going to give you step by step
instructions on how to build what I believe is one of the
easiest businesses to get into online quickly, has low
overhead, and can be leveraged for maximum profit from the
very beginning.

But you will only be paid what you are worth. Because
everything you do will have to be sold before you are paid.

You will have to learn how to do it. And you will not
learn by reading a bunch of articles and some online books.
Sure, you need to read articles and books. They are like
the repair manual to your Nissan Xterra. If you are going
to fix it yourself, you need to read the books. But just
like you can read the repair manual until your eyes are dry
and memorize every word in it, until you actually get under
your car and drop the transmission and begin to rebuild it,
not only will the job not get done, but you will not really
understand it. You have to do it to understand it. There
is no other way. There is no magic wand. There is no
special formula. There are steps, just like rebuilding
your transmission. But just like I cannot truly explain to
you how the gears fit together smoothly and with the least
amount of friction unless you are under your car with that
transmission, I cannot tell you what you will feel when you
are studying an auto responder campaign or advertising
results or the results of a email you sent out with the
wrong link in it. You simply learn by trial and error.
There is no easier way.

So think of this as your repair manual, or your instruction
manual, if you were to build your own car. I will tell you
what the pieces are and how they go together, but only you
can discover the way it feels when all the parts come
together correctly.

You will make mistakes. Everyone does. The difference
between the winners and the losers is that the winners make
mistakes and learn from them and start over again; the
losers make mistakes and give up. Which will you do?

3 Reasons Why Adsense Is Critical For Content Sites

3 Reasons Why Adsense Is Critical For Content Sites
To know why Adsense is essential for your content sites is
to know first how this works.

The concept is really simple, if you think about it. The
publisher or the webmaster inserts a java script into a
certain website. Each time the page is accessed, the java
script will pull advertisements from the Adsense program.
The ads that are targeted should therefore be related to
the content that is contained on the web page serving the
ad. If a visitor clicks on an advertisement, the webmaster
serving the ad earns a portion of the money that the
advertiser is paying the search engine for the click.

The search engine is the one handling all the tracking and
payments, providing an easy way for webmasters to display
content-sensitive and targeted ads without having the
hassle to solicit advertisers, collect funds, monitor the
clicks and statistics which could be a time-consuming task
in itself. It seems that there is never a shortage of
advertisers in the program from which the search engine
pulls the Adsense ads. Also webmasters are less concerned
by the lack of information search engines are providing and
are more focused in making cash from these search engines.

The first reason why Adsense is essential for content sites
is because it already has come a long way in understanding
the needs of publishers and webmasters. Together with its
continuous progression is the appearance of more advanced
system that allows full ad customization. Webmasters are
given the chance to choose from many different types of
text ad formats to better complement their website and fit
their webpage layout.

The different formatting enables the site owners the
possibility of more click through from visitors who may or
may not be aware of what they are clicking on. It can also
appeal to the people visiting thus make them take that next
step of looking up what it is all about. This way the
people behind the Adsense will get their content read and
making profit in the process.

The second reason is the ability of the Adsense publishers
to track not only how their sites are progressing but also
the earnings based on the webmaster-defined channels. The
recent improvements in the search engines gives webmasters
the capability to monitor how their ads are performing
using customizable reports that has the capacity to detail
page impressions, clicks and click-through rates.
Webmasters and publishers can now track specific ad
formats, colors and pages within a website. Trends are also
easily spotted.

With the real-time reporting at hand, the effectiveness of
the changes made will be assessed quickly. There would be
time to sort out the contents that people are making the
most clicks on. The ever-changing demands would be met
while generating cash for the webmasters and publishers.
The more flexible tools are also allowing webmasters to
group web pages by URL, domain, ad type or category, which
will provide them some accurate insight on which pages, ads
and domains are performing best.

The last and final reason is that the advertisers have
realized the benefits associated having their ads served on
targeted websites. Thus increasing the possibility that a
prospective web surfer will have an interest in their
product and services. All because of the content and its
constant maintenance. As opposed to those who are no using
Adsense in their sites, they are given the option of having
other people do their content for them, giving them the
benefit of having successful and money-generating web sites.

Adsense is all about targeted content, the more targeted
your content is, the more target the search engines' ads
will be. There are some web masters and publishers who are
focused more on their site contents and how best to
maintain them rather than the cash that the ads will
generate for them. This is the part where the effectiveness
is working its best.

There was a time when people were not yet aware of the
money to be achieved from advertisements. The cash
generated only came into existence when the webmasters and
publishers realized how they can make Adsense be that
generator. In those days, the content were the most
important factors that is taken quite seriously. It still
is. With the allure of money, of course. Bill Luszey

How To Make Money Without Any

How To Make Money Without Any
Is it reasonable to think that you should invest your hard
earned money when you are trying to make money working on
the internet? For some people it is not and they need to
make money without any money to get started.

Taking surveys is one way to do this.

I would say that if you are looking for a home business you
may have to invest to get started. If you are looking for
more of a job than a business you should not have to
invest. The problem is most people to do not even know how
to go about working on the internet, so they need to learn
how.

I say be cautious before you spend any money. The best
advice is to put away your credit cards. You are not going
to get rich overnight no matter what some internet
marketers promise!

If you really want the inside story hang out for a few days
in a few internet marketing forums. You can Google search
the words internet marketing forums and come up with
several good ones.

Just the archives a lone can keep you busy for a long time
in a active forum. This is free training for you. All you
invest is your time.

Once you get a better idea of what you are looking for you
can even post a few questions of your own. You will find
the members more than happy to help you out.

I know when I started out in the fall of 2002 I spend a lot
of time in the Warrior Forum just reading what people were
doing to make money. I learned more doing this than any
paid course I have ever bought. Eventually I asked
questions as well.

You will find that many very knowledgeable people are very
willing to you learn the ropes. Not only will some experts
answer your questions, but at times some will volunteer to
help you even more through private emails.

You can get answers to questions on both home businesses,
and how to make money working online other ways too.

So regardless of how you fit in be sure and do not over
spend on your education. If you buy an ebook for example
read it before you by another one. You can make money
without spending a lot of money.

Just decide if you want a business or a job and then get
the skills it will take. You can make money without any if
you learn how.

12 Search Engine Optimization Tips

12 Search Engine Optimization Tips
Search engines want to feed searchers the best information
and so do you.

Make sure you have the most content, feature it in a search
engine friendly site, and then start to build your link
popularity over time.

SEO does not have to be intimidating or very hard. Sure,
there is a lot more that you can learn, but at the heart of
it all, it is rather basic.

8 Web Design Pitfalls that Can Ruin Your Rankings

1) Do not get fancy.

Follow this rule. The simpler the better. Your site should
have more text than fancy HTML. To make sure your site is
search engine friendly; use as much text and basic HTML as
possible.

2) Do not use Flash.

Flash is useless for SEO. Don't waste precious resources on
your site for flashy graphics.

3) Do not use image text.

Many sites have beautiful headlines. They create these in
Photoshop and upload the images! Doing this instead of
using the H1 tag seriously undermines your odds of ranking
well.

4) Do not use fancy navigation menus. Remember, text links
with rich anchor text are far better than image links so
don't use any buttons for your navigation and especially
avoid using drop down menus.

5) Don't go after too many keywords per page.

If you don't focus, you are going to dilute your page and
as a result it will not get a good ranking for any keyword.

6) Do not over optimize.

If you push the limits and add your keywords everywhere,
you will get penalized. Always do what is best for the
reader.

7) Do not fall for bad linking practices. Never link to or
collect links from bad sites that are just trying or
promising to help boost search engine rankings.

8) Don't fall for the latest fad.

You will often hear of BRAND NEW search engine optimization
strategies. Don't fall for them. Even if they work, they
will most likely only work temporarily.

Another important key of search engine optimization is to
build your "link popularity." You have to get other sites
to link to you. While this is extensively covered in
another tactic, here are a few quick ways to get started.

4 Quick Steps to Start Building Link Popularity

1) Submit your site to Yahoo!: Getting listed in the Yahoo!
directory costs $299 per year but it is well worth it since
Yahoo! is a huge authority site. It will help boost your
PageRank and help with SEO.

2) Submit your site to Dmoz: Go to dmoz.org and submit your
site to the appropriate category. Then wait 6 weeks and
repeat. Getting into dmoz is hard and may take months of
waiting but it is well worth trying.

3) Get into Wikipedia: Wikipedia is the fastest growing
online directory. What makes it unique is that it is open
source. Anyone can add, edit, and delete content.

It is a wonderful resource and has hundreds of thousands of
pages with excellent resources. Every page includes links
to "External Resources." Find relevant pages on Wikipedia,
create excellent copy on topic resources and then link to
them from Wikipedia.

4) Get links from expert/authority directories in your
field: Almost every space has at least a few expert sites
that list all of the main resources. Find these sites and
try to get listed.

There is one very important thing to keep in mind ' SEO is
not a quick fix to boost your business.

We have listed the things that you can start doing today to
boost the position of your site in search engines.

However search engines work differently. They take months
to update their index and rankings! So you must be patient,
but the rewards are well worth it.

3 Big Myths Of Making Legitimate Money Online

3 Big Myths Of Making Legitimate Money Online
There are many myths circulating about Internet home
businesses that are preventing people from earning
legitimate money online. Some myths can cause people to
fall for scams over and over again, while others will scare
away those from even thinking about starting an online
business. Here are the three biggest myths that every
single person who is interested in starting a legitimate
home business needs to know.

Myth #1:

Starting up and maintaining an Internet business costs too
much. There can be nothing further from the truth than
this. Money should never be a reason not to start making
legitimate money online. Whether your budget is a couple
hundred bucks a month or even nothing at all, it can be
done. You'll be surprised how many things can be done
online for little money or no cost at all. Free hosting,
free blogs...even free money making websites are being
offered on the Internet. There are plenty of low cost and
free advertisement methods to choose from that can
effectively increase the popularity of your Internet
business.

Myth #2:

You can get-rich quick overnight. Unfortunately, this myth
causes many people online to be scammed out of their hard
earned money every single day. Unless it's illegal, there
is no legitimate opportunity on the Internet that can rake
in loads of cash for you instantly. It never works like
this and it never will. No reputable Internet marketer
will ever tell you that you can get-rich quickly. So,
don't get charmed by promises of unrealistic wealth in a
ridiculous amount of time. Remember, scammers will say
anything to get you to open up your wallet. This is the
most important myth that you must never, ever fall for.

Myth #3:

You need to devote a lot of time to become successful
online. This myth is perhaps one of the most deterring
reasons why people shy away from starting their own
Internet business. Most of us who are searching for ways
to money online have full time careers, families to tend to
and other important issues that take up most of our time.
When people realize that there is effort involved in
running a legitimate home business, they automatically
assume they don't have the time for it. A lot of
successful Internet marketers started out with only a few
hours a week to devote to their Internet business, but were
able to quit their 9 to 5 job and transition into working
online full time. It can and has been done time and time
again. The Internet is the most flexible workplace on the
planet. It never closes, so you can work to become
successful whenever you choose.

If you are serious about earning a legitimate income
online, you must first move past these myths. If you are
still discouraged by the fact that get-rich quick schemes
don't exist online, then an Internet business may not be
right for you. On the other hand, if you are ready to
commit to setting aside a few hours a week on your new
business, then you have what it takes to start your journey
to success online. Money is no longer an issue anymore.
The only thing preventing you from reaching your financial
dreams on the Internet, is you. So, there really isn't a
good reason why you shouldn't start on the path to becoming
successful online right now. The actions you take today
will affect where you will be tomorrow. Good luck to you
and your success!

Online-Newbies Should Wear Blinkers!

Online-Newbies Should Wear Blinkers!
An `online-newbie' is any person just starting out trying
to create an online business. Now why should
online-newbies wear blinkers? More to the point, what are
blinkers?

In the old days when horse-carts and carriages were the
vogue, the horse was made to wear blinkers (square flaps of
leather at the side of each eye). This prevented it from
seeing the sides and ensured that it would keep its eyes
only on the road in front, thus making it easier for the
coachman to bring the carrage to its destination.

Similarly if the newbie is to reach his or her destination
(namely success at his or her new online business), he or
she should also wear `mental blinkers'. The newbie should
look neither left nor right but keep focused totally on
building that one particular business.

This is not easy to do in the online environment, when
there are literally thousands of oh-so seductive
`easy-money' offers, `must-have' softwares, `to-die-for'
coaching clinics, `tantalising' teleseminars and so on
vying for your attention! Especially so when the
ubiquitous `click here' link is found temptingly on every
page, every email, every banner and every article (even
this one)!

You start off googling for a specific something and when
the page comes up you click on one link that looks most
promising. Before you know it, you go on clicking link
after link and 15 minutes later you can't remember what it
was you were looking for at first!

This has happened to me more times than I can count. I
start off telling myself: `I will not be distracted, I will
focus on just one thing now' but within half an hour I am
looking at some page online and wondering how I got there.

It got so bad that I could never finish in time whatever I
started, whether it was registering with article
directories or writing follow-up messages for my
autoresponder or any of the other myriad chores that need
to be done to run an online business. Jobs that should
have taken perhaps 15 minutes ended up taking two hours
because of all the side-tracking.

This was totally inefficient use of my time. So to make
more efficient and productive use of my time, this is what
I do nowadays:

Before I go online, whether to read emails or search for
information, I jot down on a piece of paper a list of items
I intend to complete during that session online. I also
write down the estimated time I need for each item on the
list. For example:

1. Submit Free Ads for Affiliate Projects 1 &2: (Estimated
time: 15 minutes)

- Free ad company 1
- Free ad company 2, etc.

2. Register with Article Directories: (Estimated time: 20
minutes)

- Article Directory 1
- Article Directory 2, etc.

3. Write or edit Autoreponder messages. (Estimated time:
20 minutes) And so on.

Then I put on my `mental blinkers'. I focus totally on the
task in hand, ruthlessly avoiding anything that is not
directly related to it, while also keeping track of the
time.

Initially it takes a tremendous amount of will power to
avoid getting off-track. Every page I turn, the headlines
look so enticing, the copywriting so engrossing and the
special offers so inviting!

But once the decision is made, it becomes much easier. At
times when I find I have strayed off and am on some other
page, I check back to my written list to remind me what it
was I set out to do.

Soon I'm getting more done, in less time and more

Internet Marketing - Fad Or Long Term Income Potential?

Internet Marketing - Fad Or Long Term Income Potential?
Internet marketing is the latest rage. People are making
big money, literally sitting in their underwear at home.
But I contend that most people in internet marketing are
not making any money at all. And if you count the millions
of dollars that are spent on training materials and
courses, they are losing money.

So how to do it?

Probably the biggest thing is focus. If you just had focus
and determination, you could probably make it online
without much more help.

You see, I believe that one of the biggest profit-killers
on the internet is that everyday there is a new opportunity
to make money.

You have barely started to understand how something works,
but because it did not make you money the first week, you
jump over to something else.

Consistency is key. You must be consistent. Pick one
thing online and become an expert. There is plenty of room
online for more experts. And guess who is making money
online--the experts.

Not the person who is into a different program every week.
Get online, become an expert, and then you will succeed.

Follow these 5 steps:

1) Decide what you are going to do and then JUST DO IT.

2) Track and test everything you do. You will never
succeed online by rolling the dice. You see, even if
something worked you wouldn't know how nor what to do to
duplicate it.

3) Become the very best at whatever you are doing. Not
just good, but the very best. Know everything you can know
about the subject. You see, people buy information, not
just books. They buy the information. And who do they buy
it from? From people who have the information, not just
someone hawking the latest book or video. They are really
buying the information in that book or video.

4) Be willing to share what you learn. Write articles
(always link them back to your site). Start a blog. Put
your information on your web site, even before you are
charging for it. Let people get used to the idea that you
know what you are talking about.

5) Do something everyday. You will never get anywhere
online spending a few minutes here and a few minutes there.
If you are working the internet part-time, spend 30 hours
a week working it. If you are full-time, spend 50 + hours
every week, until you have reached your desired income.

How To Make Money With Affiliate Programs

How To Make Money With Affiliate Programs
Many people are starting to move to the internet to make
money. It is a great idea considering the average home
based business pulls in a nice $52,000 a year! Sadly
though, many people do fail without giving it a real
legitimate shot. For beginners, making money with
affiliate programs may be your best shot to succeed.

Some affiliate programs offer great incentives to promote
their company or product. If you are a current website
owner and are receiving traffic on a consistent basis,
promoting and making money from affiliate programs will be
much easier than someone starting from scratch. All you
will have to do is simply plug in the banners or text ads
right into your site and hope the traffic takes your bait.

Promoting affiliate programs with a new site and without
consistent traffic will require you to get your website
known. Do this by setting up keywords that will get
searched for in the popular search engines, then go out and
get as many back links to your site as possible. Back
links are one way links that are pointing to your site from
someone elses. The easiest way to do this is through
forums, and writing articles. Posting comments on other
blogs and submitting your website to directories will also
help get your back link numbers up.

Making money with affiliate programs is a numbers game.
Once you start getting visitors you should really try to
track where they are all coming from. Some will be very
responsive and sign up for the afiiliate programs, some
will not. It's a science really, you need to figure out
how many visitors it takes to get a sale or sign up and
where the most responsive visitors are coming from. This
will really make your home based business the most
effective and efficient.

Affiliate programs are great for beginners because they
provide everything from the products themselves to the
training you need to promote them. To make money with
affiliate programs you must work at it on a daily basis.
Once you start getting the referrals and sales, your home
based business will really begin to take off. It's smart
to promote multiple affiliate programs rather than just
one. If that company goes out of business or decides to
give their affiliates a pay cut, you want to be able to
have some other income to fall back on. Having more than
one residual income a month is a definite bonus.
