Key Success Factors of Your Network Marketing Business

Key Success Factors of Your Network Marketing Business
A happy team is the key to being successful in network
marketing. Two common problems in network marketing include
'retention' and 'motivation'. So how do you create a
motivated downline?

The key to avoiding failure in any MLM is avoiding the
unmotivated, lazy downline. Your success is dependant on
the downline's performance, and your downline's performance
in turn depends on the relationships you build. In short,
strong relationships are the key to high incomes.

Of course, the success of your team rests on your
shoulders. You need to teach them how to replicate your
success. Like you, your downline is reaching for the same
dreams of profit: the sports car in the driveway, the flat
screen television, and the ability to help create the
living situation for their loved ones that we all crave.
However, no matter how strong their desire, their
motivation will quickly fade if they don't see a direct
path towards their goal.

In large part, the key to motivating your team is training
them. This means more than telling them they can do it in
CAPITAL LETTER TONES; it means education: giving those
concrete skills that will lead to specific and measurable
results.

And what are these skills? Like climbing to the next rung
of a ladder, the skills one must next gain depends on their
current level of experience. Your first task in assessing
your team's skills is to survey your downline. Find out
where they are, what their goals and challenges are in this
field. On every team, there are always experienced
members, and some who are complete neophytes in the world
of multi-level-marketing.

Once you have done a thorough assessment, the next step is
to use that data to formulate an easy-to-follow marketing
system. The three most essential aspects of any MLM include
lead-generation, follow-up techniques and conversion. Your
system as a result must cover all three of these areas.

So now you have your system, what next? The next step is to
show them how to effectively execute that system. Only by
walking them through this map will they be able to
duplicate your results.

Upon completion of this training, a large segment of your
downline will be achieving good results, and very happy to
be in the program. At the same time, you cannot allow them
to rest on their laurels. Why allow them to settle for 125
sales each month, when they can just as easily double, or
triple that number?

Of course, some people are more competitive than others.
For your less competitive team members, you have the option
to appeal to their ego. Every person has the basic need
both to be successful and to be appreciated for that
success.

So long as you've established e-mail communication with
your downline--and if you haven't, you'd best start
today--you can appeal to the need for recognition by
featuring member's success stories in your monthly
newsletter.

You even have the option to reward them materially. As an
example, you can purchase a tool to help them in their own
business, for example: a course on copywriting, and give it
away to the 'most improved' or 'MVP' downline member.

There are unlimited possibilities.

Ultimately, keeping your network marketing team motivated
means understanding and treating them as respected members
of your team. They have to know that you care about their
success. Remember their successes are your successes. The
more you show this to your team through helping them
achieve their goals, the more happy and productive your
team will become, and the more wealth for all.

Multi Level Marketing ' Scam, Scheme, or Cash Machine?

Multi Level Marketing ' Scam, Scheme, or Cash Machine?
The concept of Multi Level Marketing may cause you wonder
many things. What is MLM? What are the risks? Does it
really work? How can I be sure that I've found the right
program for me? Asking questions is the right way to
approach MLM, because if you get the answers you need, you
can begin to enjoy the advantages as you work your way to
the top.

Multi Level Marketing is a mean of marketing that uses
distributors, sometimes called affiliates, to market and
sell a product as well as recruit more distributors who in
turn work to expand the base of customers. To become a
distributor a person usually purchases their training
materials and inventory. They should be able to recoup
their investment in a reasonable amount of time if the
program if legitimate. If they are investing more than
they are ever likely to earn back, the organization may be
a scam. But if the distributors are taught to promote
their product effectively, the potential for those with
distributors under them to earn revenue is significant,
growing as the levels of people under them increase.
Commisions from those in your downline can compound to the
point where MLM gives some people all the income they need.

But many of the MLM success stories you hear are told to
persuade you to join a particular program promising great
results. You can't believe the hype when you are trying to
find an honest opportunity that rewards you for your sales
and recruiting efforts. Here are some questions to ask:

1. Can I decide to join at any time? If there is a lot of
pressure to join quickly, you should not trust such an
organization. Make sure you have plenty of time and
information to go on before you decide to move ahead.

2. Can I get real evidence of what people are earning?
Don't believe what people say at first. Ask them to prove
it.

3. Will I be selling a product to earn my commission or
depending on commissions from those I recruit? You need to
be in a program that gives a commission based on what you
sell first.

4. How much money do I need to put in to training and start
up inventory. The higher the amount the program asks you
to invest, the more cautious you should be. In any case,
you should check the company's track record with the Better
Business Bureau to see if there are any complaints about
fraud.

Don't rest until you are satisfied with the answers an MLM
organization gives you. Then make sure you are the kind of
person who can both sell a product and recruit others to
join you. Top marketers who use MLM successfully are
having fun because they enjoy both aspects and therefore
excel at them.

5 Tips To Web 2.0 Marketing

5 Tips To Web 2.0 Marketing
The changes in the Internet have been vast and
far-reaching. A few years ago, there was a huge dot-com
crash, just for the want of a simple business model.
Companies had hired the best talent in the business and
come up with websites which could well be considered a work
of art, and the whole world was left with just one question
on their lips after watching some snazzy Flash file or some
heavy web application ' Now What?

It was only after a firm, robust and sane business model
was attached to the Internet that actually became what it
has become today ' a complete solution to the businessman
as well as the individual.

One of the major reasons that the Internet has managed a
comeback is the latest fad in the Internet world ' Web 2.0.
Web 2.0 is a revolutionary concept wherein the internet
users themselves provide the content for the website,
thereby converting the entire internet into a huge,
accessible and free Instant Messenger. Web 2.0 is
beneficial to everyone who has a computer and an internet
connection. For the common user, Web 2.0 offers authentic
and microscopic points of views about various things. For
the businessman, Web 2.0 offers a never-before-available
way of marketing and propagating their name and product on
the Internet.

Web 2.0 Marketing is one of the most simple and even
essential aspects of marketing for any product today, be it
off-line or online. Here are 5 Tips to Web 2.0 Marketing:

Hire Professionals: One of the most important aspects of
Web 2.0 Marketing is the content. Therefore, remember to
pay special attention to the content if you are creating it
yourself, or prepare an exhaustive and detailed brief to be
given to the content writer.

Do Not Fluff: Remember that Web 2.0 is actually a vicious
circle for any marketing professional, because people your
product and its information is available to a
never-before-available target, but the moment they think
that you are hard selling it to them, they will turn away,
Web 2.0 or no Web 2.0.

Choose Your Friends: Article marketing is a very important
aspect of Web 2.0. The possibility of article marketing has
brought down the advertising budgets of almost every major
offline and online project. However, you should decide
which website you would like to have for your article
marketing. Some websites are known to leave a bad taste in
the web reader's minds.

Nothing Heavy: Gone are the days when you could happily
place a heavy Flash Intro on your website and get away with
it. In the era of Web 2.0, which depends.

Mastering the Art of Making Money Online

Mastering the Art of Making Money Online
The Internet has provided so many great things to people
and will continue to do so in the future. Making money
online is certainly one of those and in this article we
want talk about a simple four step process you can use to
make more money on the Internet.

1. One of the best assets anyone can have is their own
mailing list. By building a list of people who are
expecting to hear from you regarding your business
opportunity or products, you will always have the ability
to make more money at any given moment.

To do this you need to master list building techniques. We
are not going to go into depth on on those in this article,
but driving traffic to a landing page and capturing contact
information is one of the best ways to build your own list.

2. You need to brand yourself as an expert in the field
that you are in. You do this by working with the list that
you're building an developing a relationship with them.

Over time you become credible because you become a trusted
source of information. The key to making this work for you
is to not always be selling, but rather to be giving.

This will mean that once you build your list, you continue
to keep in contact with it. Using quality auto responders
such as Aweber or GetResponse makes that this very easy to
do.

3. Next we want to mention you must sell products that
people want or need. Even better is if you can offer
products that create opportunities for you to make large
sums of money initially, and residual income on a long-term
basis.

For this reason 2 tier affiliate programs and network
marketing programs are a great source for making money
online. You can find a number of quality opportunities
online by just doing a little bit of research.

4. The first three things we've mentioned are easily
accomplished by anyone with a little bit of effort. The
last thing we want to talk about is getting qualified
visitors to your website or landing page.

To do this you will need to become an expert in the art of
traffic generation. This is where most people fail and in
the end can either make you or break you when it comes to
mastering the art of making money online.

Regardless of how good your products are, or how big your
list is, you never really will be able to me any sales if
you cannot get traffic to your site. You will have to
become good in such things as pay per click advertising,
article marketing, forum marketing, and so on.

In the end, how much money you make online will be up to
you. There is an art to this, but once you get down the
system you just continue to repeat these four steps to make
as much money as you want.

A 6 Steps System To Online Business Failure

A 6 Steps System To Online Business Failure
I always like to write articles that talk about how to make
money online and succeed.

After seeing so many people do things that can have a
negative impact on their internet business, I have decided
that I want to write something about this topic.

If this is the direction that you are in, then you will
know what to do.

First step: Don't allow people to subscribe to your email
newsletter on your website

If you really want to make less sales every month from your
online work at home business website, then don't offer your
visitors the chance to subscribe to your newsletter. Don't
try collect their name and email directly from your
website. Don't even think about doing this.

Even if you already have an auto responder system up and
running, make sure to buy non double opt-in lists from
someone else. Keep spamming other people who have never
really opted into your personal newsletter. This means that
they never gave you their personal permission to email them.

2nd step: Spend all your advertising funds in one place

Take your money that you have and spend it all in one place
only. Put all your eggs in one basket. If this ad does not
work out for you and you lost all your money, call it quits.

Instead of testing different ads and seeing which ones
bring in the best results, do the opposite.

3rd step: You know it all, right?

If you really want to fail, don't find a role model. When
you have the chance to learn from someone who is a guru and
wants to help you, don't listen to them. Just try to do
everything in your way and try to "reinvent the wheel" all
by yourself.

4th step: Jump from one program to another

Get your internal juices flowing and get excited about a
brand new online business. Pay the fee to get started. Work
it a few days and when it doesn't work out like you wanted
it to work, quit it. Then start looking for the next great
web based business. Join that too, work it a few days and
when that program doesn't work for you, quit that one too.
Repeat the same cycle over and over again.

5th step: Don't write down any goals

One of the best ways to fail online is to never write down
any short term or long term goals. If you really want to
fail online, don't even think about writing your goals down.

6th step: Associate with negative people

Another good way to fail on the internet is to take advice
from people who have tried to make money online before but
failed. If they tell you that you can't make money online,
then listen to them. They know what they are talking about.

If your friends and family tell you that you won't succeed,
then follow their advice too.

Don't ever listen to a successful online marketer who is
trying to teach you the same methods that they have been
using to make a nice full time income on the world wide web.

If you follow the steps above, you will reach your goal of
online failure. If you really want to succeed with your own
internet home based business, then just do the opposite. It
is that simple.

Marketing On YouTube

Marketing On YouTube
YouTube is taking the industry by storm! It seems that
anyone and everyone is beginning to make a statement on
YouTube.

So, the question is, should you market on YouTube? The
answer is: absolutely and positively! According to the July
2008 issue of Computerworld, YouTube is the 12th most
visited site on earth and receives 18 million views every
single day. That is staggering!

In addition, many researchers believe that a top-rated
video on YouTube will reach 40% more people than a
commercial on a national TV station. So, obviously if you
aren't marketing on YouTube you are clearly missing the
boat.

Marketing on YouTube is similar to marketing elsewhere. You
want to stand apart from your competition. You want to make
a statement and have people remember you. This can be
accomplished if you follow a few simple steps:

1) Make sure that your video is not a blatant
advertisement. Most people that watch YouTube aren't
looking for a "sales pitch." Instead they are looking for
information.

2) Even though you don't want to turn your video into an
advertisement, it is still important that people understand
what product your represent. You shouldn't make it a
mystery.

3) Make sure that your video is not too dark. Dark videos
are a sure way to turn off prospects. You should shoot
your videos in a well-lit room.

4) Make sure that the audio reception in your video is
audible. You want people to hear what you are saying.

5) Don't expect perfection. Your videos won't be perfect
and you shouldn't expect them to be. YouTube is certainly
not about perfection. In fact, most people find that a few
quirks and quibbles will give your video a less "staged"
feeling.

6) Finally, have some fun! You should smile and look like
you are having a good time while you shoot your video. Add
some energy to your voice and a bounce to your step.

Although it's important to present a nice image, don't
worry too much about how you look. It's absolutely fine if
you aren't a Skinny Minnie or a Studley Stanley. In fact,
oftentimes people can relate better to people who are just
Regular Joes. So, remember to comb your hair, but don't
worry if you haven't lost those last ten pounds. You will
do just fine.

Remember that shooting videos for YouTube will take some
time to perfect. At first, it will take some time to learn.
But, before long, you will have the process down to a
manageable amount of time.

Internet Based Affiliate Marketing: Is It Necessary to Have a Website?

Internet Based Affiliate Marketing: Is It Necessary to Have a Website?
Affiliate marketing gives first time online marketers the
chance to promote something, even when they do not have
their own products to sell. Becoming an affiliate is often
fast and easy. For many programs, it is also free to sign
up. However, despite all the benefits of becoming an
affiliate, many people are still hesitant to get involved
in Internet based affiliate marketing. One of the reason is
because the lack of a website to start with, which leads to
the question whether it is necessary to have a website to
market an affiliate program.

It is possible to promote and market an affiliate program
without a website. Among the common strategies that people
use are email marketing, off line promotions, writing
e-books, writing ezine and engaging in online discussions
such as forums, chats, message boards and others.

Let us look at these strategies one by one.

Email marketing might be the most popular affiliate
marketing strategy that does not require a website. With
email marketing, you will maintain a list of email ads of
your prospective customers. You will provide them with
articles that relevant with the products and programs you
are marketing. For most people promotional emails are too
annoying. The best practice with this strategy is by
providing informative articles and add small text ads that
link to your merchant's site.

There are many ways to promote your affiliate product off
line. The common medium for such promotions is classified
ads, brochures and fliers. Classified ads would generally
work better compared to the other two because they often
reach a wider audience.

If you know how to write, e-book might be the best way to
promote your affiliate products in absence of a website. Be
sure to write contents that are related to the product you
are promoting. Keep it informative rather than promotional.
You can put text ads or banner that links to your
merchant's site at the end of your e-book.

Ezines are publications or articles that aim to inform
individuals about a particular topic. If you have a
website, they may actually work as content for your site.
However, if you do not have one, you can submit your
articles with inserting link to your merchant's site to
various article submission websites.

As an Internet marketer, I find that online discussions are
great venues to promote your products. In chats, forums,
message boards and discussion boards with topics related to
your products, it is easy to find people who might be
interested to buy your products.

With all those strategies mentioned, it may appear that you
really do not need a website to be a successful affiliate
marketer. Well, not really. While it is true that one can
gain massive success in Internet based affiliate marketing
even without a website, it is a rare instant that a new
comer can reach the same levels of success.

Having a website is not required to start an affiliate
program, otherwise you will be oblique to have one in the
first place. However, while this is true, I would recommend
to have your own website even if you decide to have it
later. You will have more control of your business by
having your own website. Your will be able to freely
promote all of your products, even from different
merchants. With advantages a website provide, don't you
think it is wise to have one?

A Secret Few Understand About Affiliate Marketing and Traffic Exchanges

A Secret Few Understand About Affiliate Marketing and Traffic Exchanges
Two industries that are many times misunderstood when it
comes to Internet marketing are traffic exchanges and
affiliate marketing. Let's take a look at how you can
effectively combine both to create an excellent income for
yourself.

We could probably summarize this article in one sentence by
saying, when you use traffic exchanges go for the lead as
opposed to going for the sale. What we mean by that is
promoting your affiliate marketing website is not the best
way to utilize traffic exchanges.

What you want to do is go for the lead, meaning capturing
contact information by giving away something of value such
as a free report or e-book. This contact information is
sent to an autoresponder where you can now follow up over
and over for future sales.

If you've ever surfed on a traffic exchange, you know that
you have a minimum amount of time for your page to be
displayed. This is another problem with promoting your
affiliate website itself.

People just do not have enough time or the attention span
to sit and read a sales letter. But they will have enough
time to quickly read a short splash page that hits a few
high points and at the end has a sign-up box where they can
put their name and e-mail address.

To do this you will need to create a landing page that is
attractive enough to encourage your reader to give you
their contact information. This is also an excellent place
to include a header that you begin to brand yourself with.

You might even go so far as to put your picture in the
header or on the landing page itself. As you develop
campaigns in various traffic exchanges, you will be
branding yourself as well as trying to build a list for
future follow-up.

This is such a simple concept that it really is amazing
more people do not do it. You yourself have probably seen
almost everything promoted on traffic exchanges. Think
about what captures your attention and maybe ones that you
have actually clicked on or joined.

Very few of us ever buy a product off of the traffic
exchange. But we do sign up for free reports and e-books,
which then get us on a list where we begin to receive
e-mail. It's off of these e-mails that we may very well buy
a product from an affiliate marketer.

This is the secret few people seem to really understand.
The right way to use affiliate marketing and traffic
exchanges is to go for the lead and follow-up for a sale at
a later date.

Crucial elements for building your list

Crucial elements for building your list
Build your list knowing these crucial elements are in place.

The internet is a living dynamic environment, ever
changing, ever evolving. The internet has out grown all our
expectations and is now a billion dollar industry many
times over. As it evolves on a daily basis those in the
industry like ourselves need to be ever changing,
increasing our knowledge and developing new marketing
skills to hold our place, develop our business AND make it
pay.

If you have money to invest in your business then there are
many companies willing to help you to build a list for a
fee as well as develop your web site and business. This is
a new form of business caused by the ever increasing
complexity of running an internet based business and being
able to compete with your nearest competition. However, if
you are strapped for cash then you need to find cost free
ways of marketing and building your list and there are free
ways around. Perhaps the best known one is Opt-in lists
where your prospective customer has given you permission
to email them with your product or service.

This will usually take the form of marketing materials in
the form of a News Letter or other promotional material in
the form of a catalogue, video, audio tape or simply a
series of email letters. If used properly then opt-in email
marketing is very effective because the prospective
customer has shown interest in your area of business and
has become a highly targeted contact. There can be no
better list to build than one that is opt-in. these are the
people who have decided they like what they have seen or
read and want to know more.

If it is more traffic and increased profits you want then
make the effort to take your business to the new level by
developing an opt-in email list. Should you ever want to
sell your business in the future then you cannot have a
better asset to offer a prospective buyer. It does take a
bit of effort and some patience but when you use an auto
responder with a good squeeze page (sign up page) then
really it is no more hard work than running any internet
business. There are many articles on building a list
available to be read and many find it very confusing
because there are so many ways lists can be built. The
answer may well be very simple, choose a method that suits
you, where you are with your business at this time.

1. Your web page must be interesting have GOOD CONTENT,
hold the interest of the visitor and make them want to know
more. While giving plenty away you must make sure to hold
something back or offer some incentive, like a fee gift to
encourage them to sign up to your list and give you
permission to contact them again. The headline must catch
their attention and interesting subheading should lead them
down the page to your opt-in form. I believe in using good
graphics and having a photograph of myself on the web page
to help visitors feel more confident that this business is
run by a real person.

2. The form does not need to be complicated in any way.
BUT, you must explain exactly what you want them to do. A
brief statement reminding them of the benefits of
subscribing to your list. Then a simple form requiring
their name, I usually ask for the full name and email
address. This should then be automatically saved into your
auto responder data file and a thank you email sent
immediately. This will then be followed up by your
marketing campaign. I find long copy tiresome although I
know the gurus (who ever they are) recommend long copy I
personally realise not all people have a fantastic fast
internet connection and the quicker your page loads the
better. A simple attractive site packed with good content
is all that is needed.

3. This should not have to be written but you know how
valuable a good service or good value product is, it is
priceless. If people get the idea they are being ripped off
or the product does not do what it is supposed to do then
you have lost that customer for life. You want customers to
return, time and time again. Some people recommend you
increase your price every time you Market with more
expensive products. Others would argue that your opt-in
client has only agreed to purchase a product at your entry
level and there fore that should not be increased. I think
there are arguments on both sides and only you can decide.
What you need above all else is word of mouth
recommendations for your products or service.

4. Make certain you take care of your list. It is very
precious. I would never recommend selling on your list.
These people have trusted you, remember your good
reputation can drive even more traffic and more subscribers
strengthening your business, your income and your freedom
from the everyday grind.
