pay-per-clicks to generate 100% of their traffic, and are
considered the best of the best, will tell you that as many
as 7 out of 10 campaigns that they set up will lose money.
The professionals very quickly shut off the losers, and
their winners more than make up for the losses, but it's
really not a game for someone not properly trained.

You can also buy traffic using an affiliate program. Since
you only pay for the traffic when a sale is made, it's a
very low-risk method. Since your affiliates are sending
you their best customers, you can also think of it as
borrowing traffic.

I love the affiliate program model, and have numerous
products sold via affiliate programs. I also sell a lot of
others' affiliate products. It's win-win.

You can also create traffic by putting things on the
Internet that people are attracted to. You can create

content creation and have written over 1100 different
articles. My articles teach people how to solve pressing
problems, and at the same time point them to me (my sites)

When you create content your big challenge is to get it

can follow links from there to your site. It's actually
fairly easy - but time and labor intensive.

If your content is "viral" it will be something that others

and creating it) my favorite has to be borrowing it... with
creating it second. I generally only buy traffic when I
need a really quick surge to test my website's conversion
process.

The key to generating an absolute flood of free traffic is
getting noticed, getting backlinks, etc., from high traffic
websites such as Google, Craig's List, Yahoo, YouTube, and
the various bookmarking and social networking sites.

This can be as simple is searching through Yahoo Answers
for questions on your area of expertise, and then posting a
great answer - along with an appropriate link to your
website or product.

It can be as simple as searching through YouTube for videos
on your area of expertise, and then leaving a comment along
with a link sharing that they can find more information on
the topic at your site.

It can be as simple as using the search engines to locate
dozens or even hundreds of blogs and forums in your niche,
and then interacting with these communities.

There's only one problem with most of the methods that I
just mentioned. They can be time consuming and labor
intensive. Just locating active communities in your niche
can literally take hours.

I do have a secret. I use automated software to monitor and
notify me of active blogs, forums, and communities in my
niche. I use automated software to notify me when they are
discussing my area of expertise or there is a new video
posted pertaining to my area of expertise.

When I discover a new resource, I then analyze it, and if
appropriate, I interact with that high traffic site, and
leave a link back to my site, which is a perfectly
acceptable practice.

So there you have my secret for generating literally
hundreds of thousands of free hits to even my newest sites.
Of course, your site has to be about something that
people are interested it.

I do strongly advocate using software to automate many of
the mundane processes such as just finding these sites.

Many webmasters really struggle with website traffic
generation, and there is absolutely no need to. You merely
find the huge pools of traffic interested in your topic,
and then you stand underneath the waterfall, and enjoy the
cool, refreshing flow of new visitors.

One of the biggest challenges businesses have with their
online strategies is how to get enough quality visitors to
their websites.

There are hundreds of ways you can drive the right kind of
traffic to your website, and usually a combination of
several tactics brings the best kind of visitor to your
site - ones who are most likely to sign up for your list
and eventually buy your products. There are five simple
steps you can take to drive high-quality prospects to your
website:

Step 1: Clearly identify your market niche.

This is foundational, but one of the main problems I see
working with my clients is they don't have a clearly
defined market niche (whether they market online or
offline).

Be sure to dig deep and drill down to the common smallest
denominators your market niche shares. What you are
striving for is your market niche knows YOU understand THE
problem they need solved, and you are THE problem solver.
Once you define a market niche, it will be easier to know
where and how to find them, both online and offline. Step
2: Prepare your website to capture visitors.

Okay, so you have a clearly defined market niche. Is you
website ready for the traffic you're going to be driving to
it? There are two essential pieces that you need to have
in place before you start driving traffic to your site:

1. A Simple Invite Site.

This is a simple one-page website where you direct your
market niche to sign up for your list, so you can
communicate with them on a regular basis.

2. A Free Taste.

How are you going to entice people to give you their name
and email? With an irresistible, free offer, of course!

This is your free offering to entice people to join your
list once they arrive at your Invite Site. It gives them a
feel for what you have to offer, so be sure to provide
something of value to your market niche. Take a peek at the
landing page of you website. Make sure it's clear what
step you want people to take when they arrive. The first
thing that your visitor should see is the sign-up form for
your Free Taste.

If you're going to make the effort to get people to your
site, you want to make sure you have a way to capture their
contact information so you can get them on your list, and
be able to communicate with them to build the Know, Trust,
and Like factor. This also gets them into your marketing &
product funnel. Otherwise, they may never visit your site
again, and you'll lose them forever. Step #3. Find your
market niche online.

You need to find ways to access your niche so you can drive
traffic to your website.

To find your market niche you want to know where they are
"hanging out" online. Following are some places you can
look to find them:

* Online Networking Groups, Discussion Lists, Forums, Blogs

Find 2 to 3 online networking groups, and list your profile
and website address that points directly to your Invite
Site with your Free Taste. Some of the best places to look
for networking groups are Ryze.com, LinkedIn.com, and
Google and Yahoo Groups. Look for groups of people that
are comprised of people in your market niche.

Also, check out discussion groups and Blogs that you enjoy,
and contribute helpful comments for others to read.
Becoming an active participant lets others get to know you,
and your style.

* Offer Free Teleseminars.

Another great way to get in front of your market niche is
to offer free Teleseminars for groups and associations that
are made up of your target market. These groups can be
online or offline! Invite people to visit your site to
register for the teleseminar, and also during the
Teleseminar.

* Do Internet Radio or Podcast Interviews.

Offer to be interviewed for an Internet radio or Podcast
show, whose audience is your market niche. Again, be sure
to mention the URL of your website during the interview or
Podcast. After all, the goal is to get people to visit
your site, and join your list so you can develop a
relationship with them...and eventually sell products and
service to them.

To find an appropriate show, Google Podcast and Internet
radio shows for your niche. Go ahead, try it! It's easy
to do, and many of the places to post your radio and
Podcasts are free. Using these strategies will put more of
the right kind of traffic on the path to your website.

Step #4. Let your market niche find you.

Another way to drive traffic to your site is to leave clues
for people to find you online. This strategy works if your
niche doesn't hang out in an organized fashion, or if you
just want to include this strategy into your mix of
promotional activities. Following are some methods you can
use to let your market niche find you:

* Pay-Per-Click Advertising

Google Adwords and Yahoo Overture are the two biggest
"players" in the Pay-Per-Click arena. It's difficult to
get to the top of the "organic" search results (on the left
side of the search results page). The benefit of using the
Pay-Per-Click strategy to drive traffic is because it can
be very easy to get on the first page of keyword search
results, bringing targeted traffic to you.

Use the PPC's research tool to help find the best keywords
for your market niche (keywords are search terms people use
to help find information and YOU online). Be sure to use
keywords in your ads to help the search engines drive
traffic to your site.

* Write & Submit Articles.

Writing articles educates your market niche about you, and
what you do. They also help to position you as an expert
in your field. Article writing also gives people a taste
of your style, and you will naturally attract people who
like you style.

When someone enters your keywords in the search form, your
article will pop up and that will drive traffic to your
site.

Step 5: Optimize Your Website for the Search Engines.

There are a few basic things you can do to help your site
come up for relevant keyword searches. Here are some to
get you started:

* Define your keywords.

This is how people will find your business online. Find
keywords that are highly relevant to what you offer, and
popular enough so they will attract decent traffic to your
site...but, not so competitive that you can't rank well
using them. Be sure to sprinkle your keywords throughout
your web page copy.

* Create your metatags.

This is how the search engines "read" your site. Put your
keywords in the metatags on each page of your website.

* Submit your site to the search engines.

Submit your website (its best if you submit every page
individually) to at least these three major search engines
manually.

Begin implementing these simple strategies to drive traffic
to your website. If you do them consistently over time,

way better than surveys, but it's difficult to justify it's
payment with the amount of work needed to be done. You'll

forms. Most people end up being institutionalized because

Just kidding. If you are somebody that loves sitting around
the house all day and you love typing, then data entry
programs are perfect for you. Just make sure you sign up to
reputable programs. Google a bit and find out what other
people recommend.

Ok so the above methods do make money online, but they have
2 major flaws. One being that the payments are extremely
low and secondly, you have to work like a farmer going
broke.

So are there any other solutions that can help you make
more money online than you thought possible?

Yes there are!

Method 3 - Create your own information product

Info products are what makes internet marketers
millionaires. But only a select few internet marketers
really make the cut. Developing your own product can be a
simple process, or it can be a horrible experience. Are you
familiar with the PDF? Most internet marketers start out by
writing a pdf book about something that solves a problem.

Then they join a merchant account as well as an affiliate
network and try to promote their product online. Most of
them fail because they lack a list of high profile
contacts. I'm referring to JV Partners. JV Partners are
existing valuable people who can help you successfully
launch a product. They can drive thousands of prospects to
your product sales page in a few hours because they usually
own a HUGE list of prospects which they can email
information to.

The problem is getting them to promote you. It's not easy
and most of them simply ignore you. It was easier a few
years ago, but today it is extremely difficult getting a
high profile player to help you out.

You'll be left all alone. Don't get me wrong. Having your
own product certainly puts money in the bank FAST and by
the pile, but making it very BIG is a different story.
You'll need to network with some high profile people by
visiting forums or even add them on Facebook. Then have a
normal conversation with them. Don't ask about product
promotions. Always ask if you can do something for them
first. Once you have established a good relationship, THEN
you can move onto phase 2 where you ask them if they can
help you out by asking them if they can promote you.

Method 4 - Affiliate Marketing

This method is my personal favorite and earns me the most.
There are hundreds of affiliates who are making more money
per year than the highest paid doctors. Top super
affiliates earn more than $2 Million per year. This just
shows you that the power of affiliate marketing is beyond
belief.

So what is affiliate marketing? It's very simple, yet
deadly effective. It's a simple system where you promote
other people's or companies' product on the internet. You
don't need to own or stock the products. You simply grab
the referral link from the company's free affiliate program
and then promote their website/product. If somebody clicks
through the link and makes a purchase on the other side,
you'll make a commission.

You might be doubtful and think that people won't buy, but
you won't believe how many really do. Millions of people go
online each and every day and more than 50% of them
purchase at least one item. It's estimated that 1 person
out of every 100 will usually purchase something. Now do
you know how easy it is to get thousands of people to read
your "pre-sell" and click through your affiliate link? It's
very easy.

Affiliate Marketing is honest and legit and you too can
make serious money by taking action today. Almost all the
programs you'll join will be in the form of an affiliate
program. Even Google's contextual advertising system is an
affiliate program.

Think about how you got to where you are, write up a book
about how you did it, and give it away.

Here's my surefire method for deciding what to do next.
1. Make a list of your three best ideas.
2. Draw a line through the top two.
3. Do the third one with all your heart.

Okay, I'm kidding a bit. But believe me; getting started is
the key, even if you don't make the perfect choice. You
probably know enough right now. To help clarify my
thinking, I always ask myself this question. "If there were
one idea I could pass on to my children, what would it be?"
Once I answer that one, I go out and do it. No matter where
you are today, if you take action on the best idea you have
now, your situation at this time next month will be
different. It will be better.
