What exactly is Niche Marketing and why do I need it?

What exactly is Niche Marketing and why do I need it?
When we refer to a niche in marketing, we refer to a
product or service that occupies a specific area of need or
demand for either an as yet unmet (very rare), or
underfulfilled (more common) customer need. To be able to
fulfill this need, and to attract a good solid market, the
choice of niche product should ideally relate to or
complement your website.

OR SHOULD IT?

No, it's absolutely no good at all finding a product that
you think will sell and then create a website to promote
and sell it. FIND YOUR NICHE FIRST. That way you know you
will already have a marketplace that is actively searching
for what you have. Now that makes more sense doesn't it?

Think about it. Afew years ago I developed an interest in
amateur radio, (bear with me, this is relevant), so what
did I do? Well first of all I went out and bought every
magazine I could find relating to amateur radio. In those
magazines were advertisements for plans, components, radio
clubs, allsorts in fact to do with amateur radio. Of course
I bought loads of stuff. I was keen, enthusiastic and I was
a dream to sell to in that niche. I had a need, and the
amateur radio niche fulfilled it.

That was in the days before internet marketing was even
thought of, but current technology makes it very easy for
us to exploit niches. There are literally thousands of
niches out there. You need a niche that is sufficiently
large to give you a ready supply of needy customers, but
not so large that there are hundreds of companies out there
already giving them what they want. Of course by
definition, that would no longer be a niche market.
Competition is beneficial, but only in small doses.

There are niches for almost anything you can think of,
collectors of watch straps, old dental equipment, and yes,
amateur radio. In internet marketing we can think of a
subject. Preferably, at first, something you yourself are
interested in, and have some knowledge of, lets say
belt-buckles. You go to www.freekeywords.com and use the
free online keyword tool to enter belt-buckles. OK I'll
save you the time. I just did that and find that just over
2500 searches were made yesterday for that term, this is
broken down furthur into sub categories such as confederate
belt buckles. Anyway 2500 searches is about right, you
don't want more than about 4000 daily and not really less
than 1000, These are people who are actively searching for
either information or the actual item.

It can't be too hard to do a bit of research and put
together an e-book all about collecting belt buckles, or a
series of articles that could be sold as a newsletter. Or
even if you wish find suppliers of belt buckles and sell
the actual thing itself. Not too large and heavy to post
and thousands of different ones. Then you put your site
together and promote that (the subject of another article)
and wait for your niche market to come to you.

Your customers are out there, and actively looking for what
you can supply them with. Now isn't that a better way to do
things. Do you need niche marketing? You betcha!

Wealth Masters International - Business Review

Wealth Masters International - Business Review
So what makes Wealth Masters International appealing to
some online marketers and gives others such reservation?
Here is a short business review of the fairly new company

Who's Running the Company?

Wealth Masters International, which incorporated in 2005,
is a Texas based company and was founded by Kip Herriage,
CEO. Kip's background is in the finance industry with 15
yrs spent on Wall Street. Karl Bessey, Predident and
Co-Founder of WMI has a very different background. He was
an underground coal miner in Utah for 22 yrs before
becoming involved in the MLM industry.

Kip and Karl founded WMI with the vision "to create success
and wealth in others, one person at a time.

What Is The Cost To Join?

Wealth Masters International is broken down into three
courses: m1, m2 and m3. m1 sells for $1495, m2 for $8495,
and m3 for $12,995. You are not required to purchase the
m1, m2,or m3 products to become a Consultant with WMI. If
you choose, you may pay the $149 Yearly Consultant Fee and
begin marketing with WMI. If this option is selected the
Consultant is required to pass up his first 3 sales and
recruits to his or her Sponsoring Consultant. Following
the third sale and member pass up, the "newbie" is now
"qualified" and enters the WMI Compensation Plan as a
"Consultant". So basically you can get in at a fraction of
the cost, but you are passing up your first 3 sales and the
sponsorship of those people. From there the business model
is similar to that of an MLM company. Percentages of your
sales are paid out to your sponsor if you do not qualify to
receive them yet.

Wealth Masters International recommends joining with their
"platinum plus program" which consists of all three courses
and is priced at $20,750.

What If Anything Makes This Company Stand Out From The Rest?

WMI is a new company without the long term backing of other
companies. We are yet to see if they will even be around in
5 yrs or end up as the next online scam. Their products
focus on credit repair, family education, how to
incorporate, etc. However, the products are delivered by
mail and are not fully internet automated. Internet
automation just cuts down on a lot of paperwork hassle. At
this point the company consists of a lot of Big MLMer's who
have switched over to test the direct sales water.

So in the end what really stands out about this company is
a couple of things. You DO NOT get to keep 100% of the
commissions. You will be CONTINUALLY passing up money to
your upline over and over again. But the truly shocking
thing is the price tag to sign up. If you are going to
spend $20,000 on a program, you better make sure that the
returns are immediate, and that you have all the support in
the world from your sponsor.

Selling Yourself:What is Your Worth?

Selling Yourself:What is Your Worth?
So often the personal aspects of creating positive,
successful business relationships are overlooked. This is
the technique that all CEO's and corporate giant directors
started out utilizing. They were not born the head of a
major company. They worked to get there, and they started
with themselves.

Multi-national corporate giants, successful entrepreneurial
companies, and all other major conglomerates have one thing
in common. No, it is not money, though this is something
they all seem to have an abundance of. It is something that
you will find if you trace the roots of the business back
to its origins. It all started with one individual who know
how to sell him/herself.

Anyone can sell a product. It's very simple. What you get
is what you see. The prospective buyer can look at it,
touch it, compare it to other similar products, and buy it
if he/she so chooses. The seller simply talks about it to
the customer. A service works the same way. The salesperson
makes a presentation, states the pros of the service, what
it can do for the consumer, and makes the sale.

Selling yourself however, is a little more involved. No two
people are identical in every aspect, so no one really
knows what to expect from them. You cannot sell by
appearance. At the same time, you cannot sell yourself by
experience either. Oh, that will get you a bite, but it
will not hook the fish. One might stretch the truth a bit
about their experience, and the buyer will know that. So
how does one sell him/herself successfully? There are
several different methods when utilized simultaneously will
produce very positive results.

1) First impressions: First impressions do matter.
Actually, this is the most important part of the whole
process of establishing a positive relationship. Regardless
if your meeting is via email, online messenger, or in
person, that first two minutes of your confrontation will
be the most helpful or harmful. Make that initial contact
work! Do not kiss up, be professional, and be courteous.
Act interested in this person in regards to whatever
subject they are most fascinated with. Make it about them,
not you. People want to be impressive. If you act
impressed, but not childish, they will respond positively.

2) Your Client has Priority: You may have two thousand
clients and you may only have five or six. Regardless,
whatever individual you are dealing with at any given
moment needs to feel like they are your most important
client.

3) One Hundred and Ten Percent: Of course, there is no such
concept. You can only give one hundred percent, as that is
all there is. However, you can give one hundred percent of
what the individual is paying for and then give ten percent
for free. If you are, for example, offering to submit ten
websites to a search engine for a client for a fee, do so.
Then, submit an extra one for free, just because you care.
This brings us to the next topic.

4) CARE! If you are in a business where you are only
interested in making money and have no regard for the
quality of your work or the welfare of the client, then
your business is inevitably doomed for failure. You have to
want your client to grow, to excel in his or her own
business, for yours to grow. Remember, word of mouth is one
of the best, and most damaging, forms of marketing. If you
get a reputation for poor quality work, again you are
headed for failure.

5) Availability: Try to be available to the customer at
least a minimum of 8 hours per day, and even in the
evenings if possible. People want to know that they can
reach you at a moments notice without having a long wait.
Waiting makes people irritable and stressed. This, in turn,
puts a lot of stress on a professional relationship.

6) Be Personal: You will get more business out of friends
than you will from business associates. The remedy for this
issue is to make the business associates your friends. Do
not be overwhelmingly intrusive and ask all sorts of
questions at your initial contact. However, if the
associate mentions an aspect of his life, such as his
favorite food, drink, existence of children, etc, make a
mental note. Let us take children for example. Let's say
your associate mentions that he has to leave early to take
his daughter to the doctor for a cough. Take note of that
and next time you speak with them, ask about the daughters
health. Is she okay? Then, associate your life with theirs.
Something like, "She's going to be okay? That is great. I
know what you are going through. My daughter just got over
a stomach virus". You get to know them and they get to know
you. Eventually, a relationship is formed and your business
benefits.

7) Take Notes: Nothing will sell you better than the sudden
realization that you have noticed your associates' life. If
you find out that your associate has a birthday coming up,
send a card and a small gift, such as a box of chocolates,
a beautiful pen, etc. If their child has a recital or a
game in the near future, send a "good luck" card. Do not
go too far and show up at the game; just let them know that
you care enough to send a card. If it is special enough for
your client to mention, then it should be special to you.
Keep up with birthdays, favorite flowers, favorite drinks,
television shows, and anything else that your associate is
interested in.

If an aspiring businessperson can realize that they are the
true product, learn the ins and outs of making themselves
invaluable, the actual product or service they are selling
will be a successful sell.

Stay At Home Parents Can Be Financial Equals

Stay At Home Parents Can Be Financial Equals
Once a mother or father chooses to stay at home for any
period of time to raise children, their family's financial
situation is usually expected to suffer to some extent.
Children are irreplaceable and worth more than any amount
of money and this is why people will choose to be stay at
home parents knowing that their financial situation may
dwindle. The benefits of raising your own children and not
utilizing expensive childcare far exceeds the benefits of
returning to the work force immediately after having
children. Although being an at home parent means the world
to us, sometimes we just need something more to be able to
provide for and contribute to our family's wants and needs
as an equal with your spouse. After all no one is going to
cut you a check for being a parent regardless of how
effectively or efficiently you do your job.

Any day you choose to set forth and reach a goal is the
right day. Seize each day and never allow failure to creep
into your mind. We only fail when all that could have been
achieved in a day wasn't because of sheer laziness. Get
organized and do your research. If you truly need to work
from home, whether it be for your family's gain or for your
own personal gain then do so. There seems to be countless
at home business opportunities available, but it is
probably a safe bet that the internet is the way to go.
The internet is growing at an alarming rate and there is no
chance of that growth coming to a hault any time soon.
While there is a fortune to be made internet marketing
don't allow yourself to fall into a program that requires
you to work to the point where your family is neglected and
your needs are not met.

Many home business programs available are headed by people
who seem to care about your best interest, but that caring
nature will quickly cease to exist once you've joined and
possibly even passed up your sales to that insincere
individual. Once they have what they want they put you on
the back burner and make you feel as if you inconvenience
them when you ask for support and guidance. I know this
because I tried more than a few work from home programs
that left me feeling used, uncertain, and on two occasions
scammed out of my money and a lot of my time. I knew I had
the capacity to be a leader so I didn't fail myself or my
family by giving up. I simply decided to learn from my
errors and naivety and find an online business that truly
paid and was headed by people who saw the value in putting
others first.

Now I am a leader and part of a team that really does care
what happens to everyone else. We are all in it together
while still being entrepreneurs and having the final say in
our finances and future. If you are looking for financial
freedom and independence then you deserve it, use caution
and research well, if you are asked to pass up your sales
or fulfill any large orders to qualify for your own
business then make sure you truly know that you want that
sort of a business. Also know there is a program that is
an online franchise and does not require you to pass up any
sales. I can now be a contributing equal with my spouse
and that is very gratifying .
