are wary about starting their own home business. This is
when you need to find a work from home employment

There are many of them available but they are not always
advertised. So you will have to do some looking in order to
find them. There are a couple of different ways that you
can use to find them.

opportunity. Some will and other won't but you won't know
unless you ask.

Just make sure you keep a list of the ones you have
contacted so that you don't call them a second time. This
will waste your time and theirs. So always keep a list of
calls already made.

Depending on the skills that you have, you may be able to
look in specific areas of your local yellow pages and start
making calls to those companies. It is not unusual for
businesses to want to cut their overhead and pay someone to

When I was studying for my MBA, my most challenging class
was statistics. And even though I managed an A- in the
class, it took every one of the few analytical brain cells
I had to do so.

So imagine my pleasant surprise when I sat down to analyze
the statistics of my business over the last 12 months and
found myself engrossed, fascinated, excited and practically
dancing for joy. Armed with this critical data, now I know
exactly where to spend my time and efforts going forward to
receive the highest and best rate of return!

I ran a total of about 10 reports, but let me share some of
what I learned specifically from my shopping cart's reports:

Shopping Cart Stats

The shopping cart system I use (1ShoppingCart) has the
ability to run sales reports in a variety of ways. Below
are four of the reports I ran, what my results were, and
how you can apply the results to your business:

a. My Monthly Sales Totals...

...showed me how many sales I made each month, and from
that information, I discovered that my best month
financially was December.

I reviewed my marketing and sales activities (in other
words, the offers I made) for that month, and what I found
was this:

In December, I held my 50% off holiday sale - and I didn't
have to do a thing to bring in those sales, other than
promote it. So, if you're hesitating about having a sale,
and even more so if you're hesitating about giving a big
discount, don't. You'll not only make sales that you
wouldn't have otherwise, you'll likely make MORE sales than
you would have otherwise, which of course means more money.

I also offered my 21 Easy & Essential Steps to Online
Success Take Action Group 10-week coaching program, which
is one of my higher ticket programs. If you've already
developed some products or programs at the lower-priced end
of your marketing and product funnel, consider adding a
more comprehensive program at a higher price to your
offerings to in^crease your bottom line.

b. My Sales by Ad Campaign...

... showed me which special offers were the ones you were
most interested in taking advantage of. Now I know which
offers to consider repeating, or offering on another
product or program in the future.

This is something you can do as well. Guessing if a special
campaign you ran worked well or not doesn't make good
business sense. Tracking actual numbers does, however, and
it's super-simple to do in 1ShoppingCart.

c. My Sales by Clients/Customers...

... showed me who my top clients/customers are, what
they've bought, and how much they've invested in my
offerings. And since I know that one of the most effective
ways to grow a business is to make additional offers to
those who have already bought from me, you can bet that not
only will I do that, but I'll do it in a way that makes
them feel special - because they are to me - by offering
them special access or discounts or additional benefits as
my way of thanking them for their continued business and
loyalty.

If you track this information, you can do the same and
increase your sales and your customer loyalty at the same
time.

d. My "Where did you hear about us" Report...

... showed me that even though I thought that some of my
online networking efforts weren't really paying off, mainly
because I didn't think I was focusing enough time on them,
I was wrong. It seems even the small amount I had been
doing was making an impact.

So now I know the top three places to really focus those
efforts going forward. If you've found online networking to
be a struggle for you, tracking this information makes what
can seem like an overwhelming marketing activity (some
lists are SO active) into an extremely managable and
once-again enjoyable one.

I gleaned all of this information from just four reports
from my shopping cart. And this doesn't include the reports
I ran from my email list service (Aweber) or from my web
stats (Google Analytics).

Measuring the results of your business activities is
critical to your success, and anyone can do it (it's really
one of those "if I can, anyone can" kind of things). I
really want to encourage you to take a look at where you've
been over the past 6-12 months, analyze that data, and make
some strategic decisions about where you want to focus your
efforts going forward to get where you want to be.

Why would anyone not wish to be a wealthy Affiliate, or
even better own an instant wealth generator; well I can
tell you I know an awful lot of people who are striving to

I also make money from adword campaigns; there are hundreds
of good niche products that will pay between 10% and 75%,
however to be honest there are so many to pick from I
wouldn't spend money on any words that pay less than 40%.

If you are considering making extra income from affiliate
marketing or even making it your new day job there are
plenty of good membership sites on the web which will hold
your hand whilst you build your empire.

You have to be careful which you choose so it pays to do
your homework before investing your cash; check if there is
a free trial where you can see what sort of content they
have as a lot of these websites tend to focus on one part
of internet marketing.

There is an excellent membership site which focuses on
Authority Site building, which is primarily set up to show
you how you can build your own authority blog on a chosen
subject, with the idea being that once it is drawing
traffic you can then monetize it.

At the other end of the scale is Pay Per Click marketing
and is in my mind for the more confident marketer, however
there is a few really good membership sites which actively
promote ways to help you become a wealthy affiliate
marketer.

Which ever way you look at it, to get to the point when you
can relax and work less and have that elusive instant
wealth generator can only be achieved by putting in the
work needed to allow this lifestyle to grow.

If you're following the marketing & product funnel business
model that I teach, you're likely getting good sales from
every offer you're making to your market. If you'd like to
increase those sales numbers, however, there are several
strategies you can implement to do so, starting with before
you even put your product, program, or service out there.

So, if you want to increase your sales BEFORE you launch
your product or service, the following are some of the most
effective ways to do just that:

1. Use Social Proof What is "social proof"? Simply put, we
are all conditioned to watch what others are doing and
follow along (think teenagers). Using social proof in your
marketing helps you to influence your customers to purchase
your products/services, get new prospects to sign-up for
your list, and get people talking about you and your
offering - and that's just the start.

So, how do you use this psychological trigger in your
marketing? One way is to use results-based testimonials.
Ask your current customers or clients to give you
results-based testimonials. They literally say, "I used
this product and these are the results I got." Having
celebrities give these to you is great, but make sure you
have testimonials from REAL people (see #2). Those are the
ones that are really going to cement the idea in your
potential buyer's mind that they can do it, too.

2. Answer your prospects #1 objection To take "social
proof" to a deeper lever, anyone who is buying anything
almost always has this #1 objection: "Sure, you can do it,
but can I do it?"

In addition to using yourself as an example (if
appropriate) as evidence that what you are offering does
what you say it will, it's also important to make sure you
get "social proof" from people in your client/customer's
peer group. Then your potential buyer sees people like
themself and understands that "Hey, it worked for them, it
can work for me, too."

3. Use a time limit Creating a sense of urgency around your
product or service will make it that much more enticing to
potential buyers. For example, when you first release a
product, offer it at a discount for one week only. This
creates a sense of urgency for your potential customers.

4. Use a limited quantity If you are selling a physical
product and you are only having 100 produced, then use that
information to create the same sense of urgency you would
with a time limit. Use a countdown on your website to
further create the feeling that if your potential buyers
don't buy now, they may miss out.

5. Use a time or quantity limit on bonuses Additionally,
you could offer bonuses for a certain length of time (first
week only) or for a certain number of products sold. For
example, the first 30 buyers would get an additional
special report (valued at $XX).

The last three strategies also help your buyers feel like
they are part of your "club" when they join by purchasing
your product or service.

Obviously, you can use these tactics unscrupulously, and
I'm sure you've seen it or experienced it yourself. But if
you want your business to truly be successful, in all the
ways that are important and meaningful to you, then you
must only use these strategies with integrity and honesty.

If you really are only going to print 100 copies of a
physical product, then only print 100 copies. That doesn't
mean that you can't do another print run. It just means
that you tell your market that you're only going to print
100 now, and if you do decide to do another run, then they
will have to wait another two or three weeks before they
can get their copy.

If you really are going to raise your price after a certain
date, or after a certain number of items are sold, then you
must follow through. You can give your current base a
chance to buy at the "original" price before you raise it,
but you still must raise your price if you say you will.

Your integrity using these strategies will create more
sales for you than ever before. But use them to manipulate
your prospects and it will come back to haunt
you...guaranteed.

The Internet started out as the place to get things free.
Usually this meant information in the early days, so
capitalise on this basic human instinct of wanting
'something for nothing' and offer your visitors a discount
if they buy NOW! Alternatively off a free bonus. Make it
compatible with the product you're selling so that they
both form a useful combo.

4. Include testimonials

If you have people write or email you thanking you for your
product, get back to them and ask if you can quote them in

little nudge to make them take action.

7. State the major benefit of your product or website

Make sure you tell people what the major benefit of your
product is. Even in a classified ad you must answer the
question 'What's in it for me?' With some products this is
not difficult. For instance if you product is a cure for
acne, make you can say something like 'Our product can cure
your acne in 21 days'. If you are selling something less
obvious you could say 'Our Nirvana CDs will soothe and
relax you after a hard day'. Make it clear what benefit
your product or website has to offer.
