Top Web Site Advertising Tips To Grow On...

Top Web Site Advertising Tips To Grow On...
Let's face it, we all need a little more traffic in our
life, right? And what is the main ingredient in attaining
that traffic, web site advertising. Yes, we have to
advertise our business in some way, shape or form to get
traffic to our sites and products. Sometimes this can be
very tricky and expensive at the same time. Luckily your
reading this or you might fall prey to ignorance.

There are many people and sites alike that will promise you
the world when it comes to web site advertising for your
site. Buyer beware is the advice I give you. Don't worry
though, below I have a few tips and ideas that you can take
to the bank.

Tip #1 Get your name or brand out there by writing reviews
on products or services in your industry. Over time and if
done correctly you'll establish trust within your industry.

Tip #2 Write press releases on a regular basis about your
business and anything pertaining to the field your in.
This is more brand recognition than anything else.

Tip #3 Put up an opt-in form on your site to collect the
names and email addresses of potential clients. Offer them
free advice via a newsletter.

Tip #4 Write your own e book related to your industry and
give it away to establish good will and trust with people
in your market.

Tip #5 Continue to update and maintain your website via
SEO, article additions and submissions, product reviews,
blog commenting and so forth.

Tip #6 Keep your name and brand in the minds of the people
in your market by being where they are. For example, visit
and contribute to the top forums in your market.

Tip #7 Use surveys to gather information on exactly what
your customers wants and needs are so you can give it to
them in the future.

Above are just a few tips that you can take with you when
you venture out into the web site advertising abyss. The
key with advertising on line is to keep your face or brand
in front of the people so they become accustomed to it thus
building familiarity and trust. This is a continued
effort. Everyday competitors pop up in your market and if
you don't continue to stay in the front of the people in
your market, they will. Your competitors are always
looking for an advantage to take market share from you,
don't give them the satisfaction.

Is a Online Home Business Right For You?

Is a Online Home Business Right For You?
A home based business isn't right for everyone, but if your
looking for a way to remove yourself from a traditional
type of job where you have to drag yourself out of bed
every morning, fight traffic only to rush to work in order
to get there on time, then starting an online business
might be just what your looking for.

If you're someone who is tired of working at a job that has
a boss watching every single move you make, then it might
be time to look towards other options. Starting an online
business can be both a rewarding and frustrating
experience. There are hundreds of people that attempt such
a feat only to be met with disaster because they didn't
have the resources that they needed in order to be
successful.

When many people think about online businesses they tend to
think about people who have come up with a great idea or
gadget and had the good fortune to market it. Although that
is one type of online business, there are also many other
opportunities out there. Not everyone has the great
foresight or imagination that is required to think up or
create some sort of gadget that everyone wants or needs. A
lot of people find that they want to be able to work for
themselves but don't feel they can come up with such a
product. If this sounds familiar there are other
opportunities out there just waiting for individuals to
take advantage of them.

The first step is to do research into various types of
online businesses. Once the proper research has been
accomplished it's important to read up on each type of
business and understand all of the specifics. There is no
such thing as free money so it is important to recognize
that a certain amount of work does have to be done in order
to make money back. In some online businesses it might be
as little as a few hours a day, but they let prospective
investors know that they aren't going to get something for
nothing. This is important to look out for; if there are
websites claiming that no work is required than it might be
time to look elsewhere.

It is possible for people to make as much as one thousand
dollars a day or more if they find something that they can
excel at. With the right mentoring and coaching this amount
of money can be quite feasible. There are many online
businesses that offer coaching and mentoring in order to
help their investors make money off of their system. These
are people who have gone through various online businesses
until they finally found a system that works. Instead of
keeping these secrets to themselves, they are willing to
share it with others while helping their own business grow.
It's smart business for them as well as smart for their
investors. Just remember that researching any type of
investment is important before spending a lot of money.
Some amount of work has to be done in order to get a result
and any website claiming otherwise is not being entirely
hones with its investors. There is money to be made,
especially on the internet, but it's also important to be
smart while doing it.

4 Essential Tricks For Free Website Traffic - If You Know How

4 Essential Tricks For Free Website Traffic - If You Know How
Have you been or are currently at the stage where you have
your website ready, the product is hot, but no traffic? Why
does no-one visit? You may have worked on Search Engine
Optimisation but certainly don't want to go down the route
of pay per click as it might just burn a huge hole in you
pocket.

So what do you now do to achieve free website traffic?

First things first. You need to accept that some work is
involved. Nothing is "free" in this world. Yes you can
create a lot of free traffic to your website but it does
involve some work on you part. You must have the drive and
perseverance to do this work to generate this free traffic
for your website.

But just imagine you can generate lots of free traffic for
zero cash. Some of that free traffic will convert to
customers, your list will grow and soon you will be flying.

So you want to know the 4 essential tricks for free website
traffic?

Read it, plan it then do it. Yes, do it and you will see
results.

1 The most profitable way to acieve free website traffic is
through your webiste having links. The search engines just
love them. The more links that you have pointing to your
website, the higher it will rank and therefore have
potentially more free traffic. Also bear in mind, some
links are more valuable than others. A link from a very
popular website will be worth a lot more in terms of high
search ranking placement for your site than a link from an
unknown site. Keep remembering, a high ranking website
means potentially more free website traffic for you.

You can trade links with other sites in your niche so both
websites benefit from targeted traffic. Try to put links on
your site from popular and high ranking sites by way of
signing up to their affiliate program. One, you potentially
get free website traffic and two, you could earn some
residual cash if the customer buys the other sites product
on your recommendation.

2 You are reading it. Yes, articles. They are a fantastic
medium to get your website promoted and are the perfect
form of viral marketing. Write an article on the subject or
a closely related one to your product and submit it to the
many article sites. They in turn will display your article
for free for anyone to read who will then click on a link
direct to your website. Your article will also be available
for others to use on their website, blog etc but it will
always have your websites link on it. The article will
spread like wildfire and you will get a lot of free traffic
to your website. Here is a tip:don't just write a couple of
articles and forget about it. Keep writing and submitting,
as the more articles published the greater the potential
for free website traffic.

3 Forums and online communities. The great thing about
forums and online communities is that you can target a
certain group that fits the certain demographic that you
are looking for. Find a forum that is related to your site
and read the posting to get a feel for the forum. By
answering the postings you will get your name known and by
having a link at the end of your posting you will get some
of the forum members visiting you site. If you appear to
have the voice of experience, people will be more inclined
to take a look at you website. Your knowledge builds trust
which will build free website traffic for you.

4 Keywords and Content. Make sure that your site is fully
optimised to be seen by the spiders of the search engines.
The serach engines will rank your site by looking for
keywords and keyword phrases your site uses, how they are
used and where they are used. If you are searching for
something on Google you will enter a word or words that
best describes what you are looking for. The search engines
will then use keyword searching in aiding their search
results. In relation to your own website, with the right
keywords and keyword phrases placed in the most optimum
locations, you could get high rankings in search engine
results without the costs and potentially lots of free
website traffic.

If you concentrate on these 4 techniques, then you should
have a website that enjoys a steady flow of free traffic.
You don't have to take a chance with pay per click, or pay
a company to submit your site to the search engines for you
or pay a techie to ensure that your site is fully optimised
for the search engines. You can do these 4 techniques
yourself and build a steady flow of free website traffic
for you to profit from today, tomorrow and far off into the
distance.

Do You Know YOUR *Why* For Publishing An Ezine?

Do You Know YOUR *Why* For Publishing An Ezine?
I received the following question yesterday: "How do I get
started publishing and marketing my ezine?"

While the question is broad enough to warrant its own
seminar, let's discuss the "How do I get started
publishing?" question this week and the "marketing" of it
next week.

Before you start publishing an ezine or e-newsletter, you
want to know your reason "why".

WHY are you going to publish an ezine/e-newsletter?

Is it:

*to become recognized as an expert in your industry?

*to get more clients?

*to sell informational products and services?

*to spread the word about a great cause?

*to stay in touch with your shareholders/investors?

*a combination of the above?

You get the idea: There are any number of reasons to have
an ezine and you must know *your* why in order to reach
your goal.

Once you know your "why", you need to determine the "how"
to make it happen:

*In the beginning, will YOU be sending your ezine out? If
so, are you comfortable with technology? or

*Do you have a virtual assistant who can send out your
ezine for you? If so, does she know html?

Once you know the answers to the above, you'll have a
better idea of "how" to make it happen.

A few of the most popular options include:

*Using a shopping cart such as KickStart Cart for your
ezine publishing, autoresponders and sales (some html
knowledge needed). Cost = $99.00/month for professional
version which allows you to sell ebooks.

*Using Constant Contact for your ezine publishing and
Paypal for your sales (no html needed). Cost for Constant
Contact can be as low as f.r.e.e. and Paypal takes a
percentage of your sales.

*Using a service such as Aweber for your ezine publishing
and autoresponders. Cost = $19.95/month.

These are just a sampling of the many options out there. My
recommendation is to go with the option that suits where
your business is GOING, not where it is today, provided you
can do so without overwhelming yourself (or your finances).
This will save you a lot of growing pains in the future.

Coaching Challenge:

If you aren't yet publishing an ezine, it's because you
don't have a big enough "WHY" to do it. Now's the time to
quit talking and start doing!

Determine your *why* and then research the best *how* to
get it done. If you are publishing an ezine, take a good
look at the results you're getting from it -- is it meeting
your "why" for publishing it in the first place? If not,
now's the time to freshen it up some -- add a new section,
take one away. Send a survey to your list and ask them what
THEY want to see.

Remember. . .generating income quickly and consistently
requires that you implement quickly and consistently. :-)

Generating Your Own Leads Vs Buying MLM Leads

Generating Your Own Leads Vs Buying MLM Leads
MLM is one of the fastest growing business plans in the
world today. However, one has to ensure that they take
their business in the right way in the right path to
achieve true success in their business, and there is a set
way of doing it. Leads are one of the most important
aspects of a Multi Level Marketing business.

Any Multi Level Marketing business depends for its success
on the leads. It is these leads that finally turn into
individuals in the up line and the down line. Therefore, it
is necessary that one should know everything about the
leads that they get.

One has two options when they wish to generate MLM leads,
one is by actually generating leads manually or buying
these MLM leads. Here are some distinguishing points
between generating your own leads Vs buying MLM leads.

Incomplete Knowledge Is dangerous. One of the first
distinguishing points between bought MLM leads and
generated MLM leads is knowledge. When you buy a MLM lead,
you do not know then personally and you do have a certain
risk of actually knowing whether the person is genuinely
interested in the MLM. Also, the battle does not end at
whether the person is interested, in fact you will also
have to ascertain whether the person is fit to be in a MLM.

Also, if you buy your MLM leads, you will be spending a
considerable amount on the database. This cost can be
easily saved if you use some of your spare time and use
your resources to get the right people into your MLM
business.

There is no guarantee that the MLM leads you have got are
fresh. You could well be the tenth person to call the
people on the list with a pretty good MLM plan. Simply put,
buying a MLM lead list is quite a risk for the cash
strapped MLM marketer.

There are many ways of generating MLM leads. Once you have
people in your down line, you can always tap them for
anyone else who would be interested in a good MLM plan. One
can also turn to the Internet for some good MLM lead
generations. Generating MLM leads on the Internet is a
fast, simple and very economical way to expand your MLM
business.

Also, advertising on the Internet is considerably cheaper
than advertising your MLM business in real time, with
brochures and fliers. One of the simplest and almost free
way of telling about your MLM business, and therefore
generating leads, is article marketing.

Apart from article marketing, you can also make your own
blog which tells about your MLM business. Blogs are known
to be very good for the Search Engine Crawlers, and with
the right kind of content, you could get a good positioning
on anyone of the top three search engines, which will have
a considerably less expense to you as compared to
traditional advertising.

If you are not comfortable with writing for the Internet,
you can always hire a professional who will write content
for your MLM business.

4 Long Term Affiliate Marketer Tips

4 Long Term Affiliate Marketer Tips
If you have ever tried to start your own affiliate
marketing business you know that it always starts out
promisingly. Things start out good and you begin to get
sales, but you reach a point where you find it hard to
continually make sales each day to earn a full time income.

It is hard to earn a full time income being an affiliate
marketer, but the tips listed in this article should help
you tremendously.

1. Providing good content on your affiliate website is very
important. If you can create good content through articles
and product reviews you will provide people with a reason
to trust you. If you can earn the trust of the people
looking at the product on your page then you have a much
better chance of them purchasing that product.

2. If you do not already have one, you need to create a
website. Websites provide you a place to sell your
affiliate products and also a place to market those
products.

You may be selling someone else's product but you can use
that product to market your own product. As an affiliate
marketer you cannot just worry about selling the product
but selling your own business.

3. You need to brand your business around the internet. You
need to have something that no other business has. By
having your own personality and style on the web you give
yourself a unique business that people will be intrigued by.

It is also important that you get a personal relationship
with your subscribers. If you continually talk with your
subscribers they will feel like they are wanted and will
continue to subscribe.

4. The most important thing that you can do is to act. If
you think you should do something, get out and do it.
People wonder why they do not make any money, and it is
because they sit around and wait for things to happen.

As soon as you start your business you need to get out and
market your business, put content onto your website, and
get subscribers to your site. Good things happen when you
do not wait.

Many people fail as an affiliate marketer because they are
unable to get continual sales. They all start out really
good but as the months or even weeks begin to roll by they
are unable to continue to sell the product. With these four
affiliate marketing tips you should be able to have a
successful business for the long run.

Affiliate Marketing The Secret To Your Success

Affiliate Marketing The Secret To Your Success
Affiliate marketing is the equivalent of having an army of
sales people who will do the advertising and will only get
a commission if a customer purchases.

Affiliate marketing isn't for the weak of heart. If you
want to be successful and make money from it, you need
determination and motivation. Affiliate Marketing is simply
the art of selling products for a company.

It's like being a Car Salesman who works on commission,
except as a car salesman you can't sell just any car (in
most cases).

Affiliate Marketing is that if a customer is not satisfied
with the product he or she purchased they will usually go
straight to the merchant to complain or request a refund.
In rare cases, they may come back to your website and
contact you through your information there, but that is
really unusual.

Affiliate marketing is often overlooked by the traditional
marketing community. The branding thing is touchy because
many merchants DO use affiliates for branding which is
really unfair, because affiliates don't make a dime for
showing off a brand.

Affiliate marketing is a huge business piece on the
Internet. It is a cooperative effort between merchants and
an affiliate's website. Affiliate Marketing is selling on
behalf of someone else in return for a percentage of the
sale.

You stock no product, don't need to package or handle, nor
do you have the normal business overheads. Affiliate
marketing is the original and purest form of
performance-based media and a critical weapon in the
customer acquisition arsenal for many online retailers.

Affiliate publishers can deliver a steady stream of online
sales and actions in exchange for a commission, but
affiliate marketing does not equate to "Build it and they
will come".

Affiliate Marketing is definitely a system that works.
Affiliate marketing is another type of marketing which many
business owners find to be both worthwhile and affordable.

For many the appeal of affiliate marketing is the
affiliates are not compensated for their efforts unless the
business owner sees some type of gain from the advertising.

Affiliate marketing is nothing more than commissioned sales
on the Internet. The affiliate is a commissioned
salesperson for a specific product or service which he is
promoting through online advertising.

Affiliate marketing is the Home Business model that CAN
bring you home business success, without outlaying a cent.
If you have "The Affiliate Guide Book", you will be armed
with the information, method and strategies to successfully
achieve your "Work from home dream".

Do yourself a favor - DO IT NOW! Affiliate marketing is
both an effective and powerful way to earn money online.
The affiliate marketing programs are easy to join and
implement.

Affiliate marketing is one of the most effective and
powerful ways of earning money online. This is an
opportunity that gives everybody a chance to make a profit
through the Internet.

Affiliate marketing is often called,
"performance-based-marketing", meaning you don't pay the
advertiser until they sell something. Affiliate marketing
ensures that you only pay when your ad results in a sale.

Affiliate marketing is really what you make of it. If you
really put a great deal of work into your business, you
will likely find success.

Affiliate Marketing is the most promising and lucrative
business model on the internet. There are millions of
affiliate marketers but there is more than adequate money
for everyone out there.

Affiliate Marketing is way for advertisers to reach
potential customers and only pay when a visitor takes some
predefined action.

Affiliate marketing is not easy work but it's is definitely
a good way to build a side business that could have to
potential to be a full time job. To be a part of third
party companies like eBay Partner Network (formally
Commission Junction) cost you nothing.

What Is The Future Of Your Network Marketing Business

What Is The Future Of Your Network Marketing Business
The way business is being conducted in a global economy is
changing at a rapid pace. This is being fueled because of
the creativity provided by the Internet. One industry that
is moving quickly is the network marketing business.

In this article let's take a look into our crystal ball to
determine what is the future of your network marketing
business.

1. First of all you are going to have to provide a product
that is unique and is in demand. Peddling vitamins and
hocus-pocus potions isn't going to be good enough anymore.
If you areselling something that a person can go down to
Wal-Mart and buy you are not providing a unique product.

2. Secondly your business needs to be marketed almost
exclusively online. The days of one-on-one contact in
building a large network marketing business are over. In
reality that really never did work except for a handful of
people and attributed to the high attrition rate that most
MLM businesses experienced

3. Your future looks very bright if you can master Internet
marketing techniques. The fastest way to build a network
marketing business today is to learn how to market online,
because of the competition.

You are still in the people business, but you need to
develop lead capture skills. The way you do that is to
combine a splash page, an auto responder, a free report,
and a series of follow-up messages pre-selling your network
marketing opportunity.

4. You will spend the majority of your time promoting your
lead capture page and following up with your leads. You
have a leg up if you are able to contact your prospects via
a phone, instant messaging, or an online phone service such
as Skype. The fortune is still in the follow-up in network
marketing.

5. One other thing that is becoming apparent is social
networking is here to stay in a big way. The number of
people joining social networks such as My Space,
Stumbleupon, and others is simply astounding. The Smart
network marketer has an exciting future ahead of them if
they enjoy meeting people via the Internet in various
social networking ways.

These five things will play a role in the future of your
network marketing business. You will have to develop skills
using the Internet if you hope to survive and thrive in the
future. The exciting thing is that anyone can do this with
a little bit of effort and being smart online.

The Five Biggest Mistakes Sales People Make

The Five Biggest Mistakes Sales People Make
No matter how you bring your prospects through the door,
you will have to contact them. There is no getting around
this fact. And whether you are a cold-call specialist or an
internet marketer who generates their own leads, you still
will need to follow-up with prospects. But, here's the
problem. Most people end up losing their sale. Without
realizing it, they make important mistakes that lose them
money. The bottom line is that over the years, I have
observed that people make five common mistakes in sales:

1) Wasting Time. People waste time. Obviously, watching
TV and gossiping on the phone are obvious time wasters.
But, some time-wasters are less obvious, but still as
dangerous. At the end of the day, there is no greater use
of your time than talking with prospects. That's it. Any
time that you spend doing other activities is taking away
from this critical process. Of course, you need to spend
time on other activities, like marketing and managing your
team. But, never forget that 80% of your work day should be
spent on talking with new prospects.

2) Living with Poor Discipline. Poor discipline is
different than wasting time. Top performers organize their
week, set goals and have standards and benchmarks that they
strive to achieve. They get up early in the morning and
keep going until they have finished their tasks. Even if
they have a sick child or a broken dishwasher, they
understand that there are always hurdles in life; however,
they still achieve the goals that they set.

3) Practicing Poor Follow-up. A few years ago, there was a
study done on the follow-up statistic of purchased leads.
72% of purchased leads are never called. And even more
surprising, only 3 out of 10 people are given a call when
they enter their information in a website. Top sales
people not only follow up with their prospects, but follow
up with their prospects with a proven series of between 5
and 20 different steps. You should send your prospect a
series of emails, a phone call, an invitation to an
opportunity call or an online webinar, a letter in the
mail, etc. Research suggests that you will close 75% more
leads if you have a systematic follow-up program.

4) A Poor System. An entrepreneur without a system will
never, ever come close to the systemized entrepreneur. If
you have a step-by-step process that you follow, you will
be more successful. Top sales professionals have a system
for the following three areas:

a) Generating leads

b) Managing leads

c) Following up with leads

5) Being Too Dependent On Your "Leader". This is one of the
most insidious problems in the sales industry. People come
into their business hoping that the "person at the top"
will show them the magic formula for success.
Unfortunately, there isn't a magic formula. Top leaders in
the industry forge their own way and make their own
success. When people become too dependent on others for
their success, they will never make it to the top. Remember
that the sales profession contains some of the richest
people in the world. One of the most wonderful parts of
sales is that there is no limit on what you can achieve.
However, there are some important factors to take into
consideration when pursuing a successful career in any
sales job. Make sure that you never make mistakes that will
cost you the sale!

New Product Launching: Make Yours A Success

New Product Launching: Make Yours A Success
All business owners stress out when they are about to
launch a new product. Don't think that you are the only
one. Inevitably, there are just so many little details
that go into a product launch and all of them have to go
just right. If this is your first one, you will stress out
about every aspect of the launch and spend countless hours
attempting to find the best way to do things.

Rest assured that these countless hours are not a waste.
Taking the time to form a solid plan is the best thing that
you can do to ensure the success of your new product
launching. Having a plan will give you some much needed
direction and can also serve as a to do list as you
approach the big day.

Basically, you want to form this plan in order to make sure
that you have covered all of the bases that are necessary
and you are totally prepared for what ever might happen on
launch day.

There are some things that you should be sure to include in
your plan. These are just a few of the essential things
that you must do to ensure that your product launch is the
most effective. First of all, talk it up for a couple of
months before the release. Make sure that people in your
industry are buzzing about your new product long before it
is available to them.

This is very similar to how television stations advertise
new shows. People would have no idea that there was going
to be a new reality series coming to the station if they
didn't see commercials about it before hand. You should
follow this same idea when you are getting ready for your
new product launching.

Your plan should also include plenty of testing before the
product is set to launch. By all means, your product must
be as close to perfect as possible before it becomes
available to the general public. You definitely don't want
any hiccups after the product launches.

It should not be hard to find good people that will be
willing to test your product for free and give you
extensive feedback in return. These people might be willing
to fill out testimonials that you could use in your
website. Make sure that you do all this testing well in
advance of the launching, that way you will have ample time
to fix any problems that may arise.

Overall it will still not matter how well you plan out your
launch date and you can still expect to be incredibly
stressed. On the day of the launch focus just on your new
product and keep an eye on everything to make sure it is
running smoothly.

Remember though that it will all be over soon and if you
have planned everything out well there should be no
surprises. Plan well and it will go over like a breeze.

What Is A Traffic Exchange And How Do They Work?

What Is A Traffic Exchange And How Do They Work?
A traffic exchange is a website or a service that basically
lets business owners submit their website to a directory.
They earn credits for traffic by viewing the websites and
advertisements of other websites. It's set up as a type of
barter or credit based system. For example, if you view 3
websites then 15 people will be directed to view your
website.

Sounds convoluted for certain however traffic exchanges
have been in operation since the invention of the internet
and they work. The system increases traffic to the
websites that are associated with the exchange network.
Each exchange has their own rules and system and each
exchange is member based. Some focus on a specific niche
industry and others are very broad in scope.

Why would increasing traffic in this manner help a business
grow?

1. Traffic exchanges place your product or service in front
of new prospects that you may not have reached by any other
means.

2. Traffic exchanges give you the opportunity to see what
other businesses have to offer. You can check out your
competition or learn about new and beneficial products or
services

3. It helps you see how other businesses promote their
products and services

4. Increased traffic helps build exposure, enhance a brand
image, create a larger opt in list, and profit

How to find the right traffic exchange for your business.

There are actually several types of traffic exchange
systems.

Manual traffic exchanges mean that the user and member is
expected to surf the site manually. To click on sites and
advertisements the member has to actually click on
something. This is different from an automated or autosurf
site where members can click a button and the sites start
scrolling. People sitting and looking at the sites are
about as likely as them sitting on the couch and watching
the commercials during American Idol. Manual sites make
sure that your site is actually viewed.

The other variant between sites is that some are free and
others require a fee or a paid membership. Both are fine
and basically have the same results. Free is free and if
it keeps money in your pocket and has the same benefit as a
paid site then why fork out the cash?

Here is a list of three free traffic exchanges to check out:

There are literally hundreds of traffic exchange sites to
check out. Join a few, track your traffic and see if it is
worth it. If it is, if you find that your traffic and
sales increase, even if they only increase by 1 or 2
percent, then it is worth the effort and you've doubled
your return on investment.

4 Reasons Why Ecourses Are The Best For Building Targeted, Responsive Lists

4 Reasons Why Ecourses Are The Best For Building Targeted, Responsive Lists
Everybody knows they should be building a list of targeted,
responsive subscribers, right? Well, if you didn't, now
you do.

But the fact is, building a list is harder than it used to
be. Competition is high, and it seems like everyone is
fighting for your subscriber's attention. What this means
is less people will join your list, less people will open
your emails, less people will read your email and less
people will ACT on your offers. All told, this means less
money in your pocket from your email marketing efforts!

This problem hasn't gone unnoticed. Over the years smart
marketers have been offering free reports, free ebooks,
videos or other ethical "bribes". But in my opinion, there
is no better method for building a targeted, responsive
list than eCourses.

An eCourse is simply a series of emails sent to the
subscriber with the goal of teaching them something of
value. It is the REASON why a visitor to your site gives
you their name and email address. They sign up because
they want to learn something you are teaching.

Here are the 4 reasons I believe eCourses are best:

Ecourses Build A Highly Targeted List. This is not, "Sign
up for my newsletter and I'll send you a bunch of emails
about anything under the sun". There is a very specific
reason for the eCourse. It is going to teach something
about ONE topic. So, when someone subscribes for your
eCourse, it is because they are interested in this topic
and want to learn more from you.

This targeted list is a huge asset to your online business.
You know EXACTLY what the subscriber is interested in.
Therefore, you can design your lessons (and offers) to
fulfill exactly what they want.

Ecourses Have A Higher Open Rate. Remember, there are
other people competing for the attention of your
subscriber. After getting people to sign up for your
ecourse, getting them to open your email is the second big
obstacle you must face. But, since they signed up for your
eCourse, they WANT the information you are providing.
Therefore, they are waiting for your email lessons. When
they receive one, they are much more likely to open it!

More People Will Read Your Ecourse Lessons. Again, your
subscribers asked for this information. They want to learn
from you. They changed from someone looking for
information to someone asking YOU for information. You bet
they are going to read your lessons! While other emails go
unopened and unread, yours is anxiously awaited and read.

Ecourse Convert Better, Making You More Money. Let's not
fool ourselves, you want to help people, but you also want
to make money at the same time. This is why ecourses are
perfect. Since your lessons are getting opened and getting
read... you get a much higher percentage of people who ACT
in response to your lessons. And when they ACT, either by
buying your product or buying an affiliate product, you
make money. A higher conversion rate means more profits
for you!

So, if you want to build a targeted list people who are
anxiously awaiting your emails, open them when they arrive,
read them from top to bottom and ACT on your offer...
eCourses are the way to go. And the great thing is, once
you have one of these list building, profit generating
courses in place, it runs on autopilot. So, you have
plenty of time to create another profitable eCourse!

What's your first ecourse going to be about?

Tap Into Highly Targeted Markets and Let Others Do All The Work

Tap Into Highly Targeted Markets and Let Others Do All The Work
With Affiliate Marketing You Only Pay for Results It is
through affiliate marketing that you can start to tap into
these highly targeted markets and get hundreds of other
websites to start promoting your brand, products, and
services.

By getting expert sites with related content and targeted
newsletters to recommend your products and services you
could see your sales more than double! What's more,
affiliate marketing is 100% performance based and risk-free.

If your affiliates end up delivering you lots of traffic
but zero sales then you owe nothing! That makes affiliate
marketing even better than pay-per-click advertising
because you only pay for results. Affiliate marketing can
drive your sales further than you ever imagined, especially
if done well.

Here are a couple of advanced affiliate marketing tips,
tricks and techniques that might come in handy as you get
familiar with affiliate marketing.

Try Different Affiliate Payout Structures

There are many ways to pay affiliates. Themost basic way is
to offer a straight commission per successful transaction.
However, depending on your site or service this may not be
the best payout structure. You can also try paying
affiliates per visitor or per sign-up for a free course or
research report.

The key is to try different payout structures and measure
what works. All of the affiliate management software
packages on the market offer tracking that allows you to
set the payout any way you like it.

Build a Two-Tiered Affiliate Network

In a single-tiered affiliate network, your affiliates get
paid for every successful transaction. In a two-tiered
affiliate network, your affiliates have the opportunity to
earn additional income. That is because in a two-tiered
network affiliates can recruit other affiliates to join
your network and they get a commission for every sale that
comes from one of the affiliates they helped to recruit.

A two-tiered affiliate network can be a win-win
relationship because it gives the affiliates an incentive
to help you recruit other affiliates into the network.

Outsource Your Affiliate Marketing

A successful affiliate marketing channel does not build
itself! It requires someone to invest the time and energy
to recruit new affiliates, to activate them and to make
them successful. This is hard work, different to building
up your pay-per-click marketing campaigns, because it
requires you to work with many people.

If this is too much for you to handle, you can outsource
all of the work to an affiliate management company. These
companies are in the business of managing affiliate
programs for other companies.

By far the single best company that is offering this
service is PartnerCentric. Linda Woods, the founder of
PartnerCentric is legendary in her industry and is called
an "affiliate goddess" by her peers.

Once you implement these webmaster affiliate program tips,
you'll be well on your way to earning the kind of affiliate
income that will keep you in style for years to come.

What Personal Injury Lawyers Need to Know About Getting a Web Site Placed Well in Google

What Personal Injury Lawyers Need to Know About Getting a Web Site Placed Well in Google
The competition for personal injury law firms to get
noticed on the Internet is fierce. You can have the best
website around, but if it isn't on the first or second page
of Google, it is "invisible." Getting placed well in Google
is not a matter of luck nor is it necessarily a reflection
of how much money you are spending. Here are some things to
remember about search engine optimization (SEO):

1. Think about your web visitors like foot traffic to a
retail store. You can either go for quantify or quality.
SEO is like advertising to Google's "shoppers" on the web.
The more advertising that is done to promote the store, the
more potential shoppers will stop by the store.

2. Link equity is a powerful tool for SEO. Link equity is
having other web pages point to your site as a source of
information. The more quality sites that point to your site
the higher your page ranking, but your web site should be
linked to others as well. This is known as reciprocal
linking. Beware of "link farms" and of exchanging links
with junk sites. These can pull your Google ranking down.

3. The age of your website is important. While you can't do
much about how old your website is you can make sure that
your domain name does not expire. There are actually
services out there that track expired domain names so that
others can obtain them. Letting your old domain name expire
and be scooped up by your competition would be like having
another law firm get your phone number before you have
moved. Also, if you end up not liking the domain name you
chose years ago, you can still keep it, buy another, more
interesting name, and have the second name point to the
older name.

4. Unique published original content that is relevant to
your practice area is key to good placement on Google. The
very best way is to do it yourself, since you are the one
who knows your business best. Consult with an experienced
SEO expert to become knowledgeable about how to write
content, generally, but you know your story and you know
what interests consumers so you be the writer. With
billable hours, family time and everything else that has to
be done the attorney may not be able to provide the new
content.

In some cases you may be able to hire a ghost writer for
some or all of your content. The goal of using the ghost
writer is for them to get you 80% of the way there. Give
your ghost writer good resources to look at for article
ideas. Have them sketch out the article for you. You
however, are the one that needs to add your "personality"
to the article.

An older personal injury web site that is rich in relevant
and interesting content and which links with other quality
sites should find itself placing well in Google.
