Affiliate Marketing Trick For Fast Commission Checks

Affiliate Marketing Trick For Fast Commission Checks
You're going to kick yourselves when you see how simple
this really is:

Without a doubt, affiliate marketing is the fastest way to
start making money online... or at least it should be.
Unfortunately, a lot of affiliate marketers miss the boat
on what affiliate marketing really is. They end up
spending time on secondary activities that don't directly
lead to affiliate sales, instead of focusing on the ONE
activity that boosts their affiliate income to new heights.

In this short article I'll reveal the TRICK to making
affiliate commissions faster, and the ONE activity you
should concentrate all your efforts on. If you follow my
advice, you'll see your affiliate checks pouring in faster
and more consistently. Plus, in my resource box I'll send
you to place that teaches you how you can get started doing
the ONE thing necessary for affiliate marketing success
TODAY... not days, weeks or months from now.

So let's get started...

In a simplified form there are really only TWO activities
to affiliate marketing:

#1 : Creating The "Offer"

By "offer" I mean where you are going to recommend, presell
or otherwise present your affiliate link to your visitors
and subscribers. Obviously, you are trying to match the
RIGHT solutions to your target market's problems. Your
offer can take on many forms such as blog posts, web pages,
articles, reviews, ads, free reports, mini courses, etc.

#2 : Sending Targeted Traffic To Your Offer

Once you have your offer in place, you need to spend time
getting your offer in front of the eyes of people who can
use what it is you are recommending. Here you engage in
activities to funnel people with a specific problem to your
offer where you recommend the solution. Traffic generation
can take on many forms such as blogging, article marketing,
participating in forums, pay-per-click advertising,
creating videos on YouTube, etc.

And that's about it!

So, what's the trick to get the affiliate commissions
rolling in as fast as possible?

The trick is to follow a PROVEN PLAN for creating your
offer and getting it set up AS FAST AS POSSIBLE, and then
spending the bulk of your time driving TARGETED TRAFFIC to
your offer. (Read this again to make sure you get it.)

Sounds simple right? But you'd be surprised at just how
many affiliate marketers miss this trick completely.

They either...

- Don't set up the offer following a proven plan - Take too
long to set up the offer correctly - Spend no time sending
targeted traffic to their offer - Or spend too little time
working on traffic generation

... or a combination of these actions which lead to
affiliate marketing failure.

So, if you want to see your affiliate income skyrocket with
faster, more consistent affiliate commissions, get your
EFFECTIVE offer set up super fast and then settle in for
the long haul of doing what really matters... sending
targeted traffic to your offer.

Why Keywords, Back Links and Link Exchanges can Improve the Bottom Line of Your Online Home Business

Why Keywords, Back Links and Link Exchanges can Improve the Bottom Line of Your Online Home Business
There are lots of techniques that can be used to improve
the ranking of your online home business on the major
search engines—Google, MSN, Yahoo, Ask, etc. Why do
you want to improve your site's ranking? It remains true
that most internet searches start with a check of one of
the major search sites. Therefore, it is a worthy goal to
try to make sure that your site comes up when potential
customers are looking for what you have to offer in your
home business. If search sites are able to deliver your
website to the computer screen of your potential customer,
you may be on your way to a sale—with absolutely zero
spent out of pocket for additional advertising. Cutting
expense is always good for any business--and online
business at home is no exception. (And advertising can be
expensive.) All you would need to have done to achieve
this free advertising would have been to tweak your website
in ways that the search engines appreciate, and have it
float up toward the top of the listings.

But how show you do this? Search engine logarithms
(formulas that that search sites use of determine what is
relevant and what is not) have become more and more complex
as the internet has matured. This is so that the Google
and the others can deliver up precisely what the searcher
is looking for, with minimal duplication or irrelevant
content. It is no longer sufficient to simply list your
site in a few online directories to achieve good ranking.
The more successful the Google searcher is in finding what
he/she is looking for, the more likely it is that that
individual will return to that search engine for their
needs the next time.

One way that search engines use to find relevant content is
through keywords. A keyword is just a word or phrase that
identifies what you are promoting. Search engines first
set about the task of finding an exact match for what the
searcher has entered into the search box. If it is a
popular search, there will be a vast number of web pages
that have some relation to the search term used. If the
search was placed in quotations, then the exact phrase will
be pursued (if not in quotes, the search site simply looks
for the individual words no matter where they may appear on
a page.

So then, it is important to use the proper
keywords—ones that prospects for your product might
use when looking for what you have to offer. If your
product or service is very unique, it may be easier to
select key words that are very specific, and therefore
probably used less often, which results in a smaller number
of results. Your market is then more targeted. This can
be a positive thing because then you are sure that the
prospects who search that term desire specifically what you
have to offer in your online home business--for instance,
"crossword puzzles for children" is a rather specific
category.

If you are marketing to the business opportunity seeker,
however, the search terms can be popular and therefore more
difficult to specify. Certainly, if there is something
unique about your product, it should be noted in your
keywords. What benefits does your product offer that the
prospect is looking for? Also, you can use keyword
popularity tools to determine what other terms searchers
are using to find the type of product you have.

Make sure that your key words appear in the proper place on
the webpage. By editing your HTML source code, you can
find the correct location of your keywords and specify the
keywords you prefer. Some search engines look for keywords
in a specific place, while others can spider sites to get a
sense of overall use of specific terms on a webpage. It is
good to learn more about the preferences of the various
search engines so that you can optimize your webpage for
the search they are conducting. Formatting such as
bolding, placement of keywords within a page title, or
keywords appearing as a hyperlink can achieve greater
significance in search engine page rank, also.

Link exchanges are very popular among webmasters because
search engines recognize and still reward a site that is
linked to another one, preferably related in subject
matter. Having multiple mutual search links with other
sites is not only a factor in achieving page ranking, but
will likely render much additional traffic in and of itself.

But what the search engines really prefer to see are
backlinks. Backlinks are those one-way links from another
site not related to your own. The presence of a backlink
"says" to the search engine that another site on the web
considers the content of your web site to be sufficiently
worthy that they wish to send their own traffic there, with
no reciprocal link required.

But beyond the backlinks that may come as others recognize
the value of your site over time, you can create backlinks
yourself. How? One way is to post regularly on website
forums, preferably on websites somehow related to your own.
At the conclusion of your posts, at the bottom, you may
place a "signature" which includes a line about your site
and gives its URL. Presumably, if you have posted
interesting or valuable comments, readers will want to
visit your web site to see what other insights or valuable
products you have to offer them. Using your posts to
"advertise" the site itself is generally considered a
no-no. It is better to write interesting posts related to
the thread of the forum topic, and then allow the reader to
find you via your website link in the signature if they
wish to do so.

Another highly popular way to achieve backlinks is to write
articles and post them on internet directories. Articles
tend to stay published for a very long time, so a good
article can provide some additional traffic flow for
years—so long as your topic is interesting and still
relevant. Still another way is to submit your web site to
online web directories—some charge for this, even
though many are free.

One thing that the internet does very well is to remember.
It remembers forum posts. It remembers articles. It
remembers links and backlinks. It remembers your listing
in web directories. It is this inherent memory that can
serve to greatly improve your bottom line. Do the work
once to optimize keywords, and to achieve some one-way and
two-way linking, and you may financially benefit for a very
long time to come.

Blogging Your Way to Home Business Success

Blogging Your Way to Home Business Success
Many of us view blogging as something for the younger
generation or just a social networking communication
avenue. But creating a blog to promote your home based
business can be very profitable. Savvy internet marketers
know that using a blog as your main avenue is a successful
business plan.

So why are more and more internet marketers turning to
blogs rather than websites?

Here are a few reasons...

It's really easy to setup a blog. There are many sites on
the internet that will provide free and low cost hosting of
your blog when you use their blogging software. All you
need is a computer to connect and your up and running.

You can choose from a variety of blogging platforms;
Wordpress, Blogger, Joomla, are a few of the most popular.
These applications offer a number of attractive themes to
choose from. You're bound to find one that fits your
product niche. You will also find with these platforms that
people write addons, plugins or applications that add spice
to your site.

People are attracted to blogs because they are generally
less intimidating. They are a friendly environment that
allows for open conversation about products or issues. You
do not find the in-your-face hard sell you would on a
website or sales page. It's a more personal environment
which attracts people.

Blogs are also great for search engine rankings. Because
there is a lot of activity, postings, links, the search
engines love them. The more postings you provide and
comments you receive helps boost your popularity and
therefore your rankings.

Blog content

The most important aspect of a blog is its content. It must
be useful, informative and non threatening. You can write
what you want in your blog and if people find you
interesting they will follow you. You can be informative,
funny, and controversial, all are great avenues to grow you
reputation. As your reputation grows and your blog gains
readership you will see the benefits in your profits.

There is no rule of thumb on how often you should post to
your blog. Once a day is great for keeping your rankings
high and your readers' interest, but if you can only post
twice a week or even once a week, the idea is to keep
posting.

Offer your readers various ways to keep up with your posts.
You can setup article feeds (RSS, Google, AOL), or have
them register for emails to be sent every time you update
your blog. This will encourage your readers to comment on
your posts and keeping your blog active.

Monetize

There are many ways to add profit to your blog. You can
sell advertising to other subscribers wanting to promote
their product. You can be less assertive by adding text
links within the blog content directing them to other
sites. This is usually a personal preference. You can also
add Google Adsense, AdBrites or any other content sharing
ads.

If you follow these few simple ideas you will find blogging
fun and a very powerful tool in your internet marketing
strategy that sets you on the road to success.

Buy From Paypal Stores

Buy From Paypal Stores
When you buy from PayPal stores it is easy, convenient, and
relatively safe. PayPal acts as like an internet 'wire
transfer.' After signing-up for PayPal, one may send cash
to anyone with an email address using the PayPal system.
PayPal also has security features that safeguard against
fraud in case there is a dispute between the seller and the
buyer.

In this article we are going to move on to the other end of
the spectrum, trying to get your money out of your PayPal
account. This is not as hard as people make it sound. There
have been cases where people have had their accounts
frozen. That has happened because they broke one of the
PayPal terms of service. As long as you play by their
rules, you will not have any trouble getting your money.

Go back to the My Account section. There is a box that says
"Withdraw." Click on that box. You are taken to another
page that has quite a few options for getting your hard
earned money. We are going to cover each one of those
options.

Transfer Funds to Bank Account

This is the best way because it is the fastest and it is
free. Funds are usually transferred in no more than 4
business days. This is the most used option.

Request A Check From PayPal

In some countries where PayPal does not allow bank
transfers, this is your only option. Unfortunately, it is
not as good. Checks can take up to 2 weeks to get to you.
In certain instances it may even take 3 weeks. That is
when I went to electronic funds transfer. Also, there is a
$1.50 charge for each transfer. This can add up if you ask
for your money often.

Shop With PayPal Debit Card

This is where they get you to actually spend your money.
Once you get a debit card, you can have the money
transferred to that card and then use it to make purchases.
If you really need the money, don't be tempted by this
option. Use the electronic transfer. Many people end up
broke because of all the money they spend in this way.

Get Cash Out Of An ATM

This is a quick option where you can get your money using a
PayPal ATM card. It is very handy but comes with a $1.00
charge. If you really need the money right away, you're
probably better off going with the electronic funds
transfer.

Buy From Over 42,000 PayPal Shops

This one really makes me laugh. This is where they take you
to the PayPal shops to spend your hard earned money. Resist
the temptation. Once you get to that page, click away from
it quickly.

With each method of requesting money you'll be taken to a
second page. It is here that you enter in the amount you
want to withdraw. Then click on "continue." You will then
be taken to a final page for confirmation. After you do
this, the funds will be on their way to you.

Remember, your PayPal account will say pending. You will
notice that they have already taken the money from your
account, even though you don't have it yet. They do this to
keep you from spending money using your PayPal account that
you don't actually have anymore.

----------------------------------------------------
No matter how many times you buy from Paypal, always check
your account. If somebody hacks into your account, you want
to find out as soon as possible. You'll know if you log in
and suddenly see all your money is gone or your password
has been changed and you can't get in. Follow this link to

What Is Social Book Marking All About

What Is Social Book Marking All About
In the past few years, the Internet has been taken back by
individuals from the institutions. The advent of Web 2.0
has seen this happen in a quick and easy manner. Blogs,
Social Networking Websites, and Social Book marking are new
concepts that have been achieved wild success in the past
few years.

Social book marking allows Internet users to store and
share their bookmarks, links of any websites they may have
liked. These links can then be shared either with a private
group, or can be viewed and accessed by anyone who visits
the social book marking website.

There are various social book marking websites today. Most
of these websites will show what sites their users liked
and disliked to anyone, but the more advanced features
would require one to sign up on the social book marking
website.

Though Social Book marking has been very popular since the
2000s, it first started in 1996. however, due to the lack
of a proper business plan and the dot com bubble burst, it
was not much of a success.

Social book marking made a comeback somewhere in 2003, with
major companies planning out social book marking websites.
Web 2.0 has made the success of social book marking
possible.

Social book marking is very beneficial to the casual as
well as a advanced internet user. Many a times, there are
certain software applications available on the Internet,
whose links are difficult to find for the casual user. This
is where the social bookmarks can help people. It is also
useful for open source software. Many open source software
do not have the common bookmarks and are hosted on
non-commercial servers. Social book marking helps people
find these links too.

Social book marking is good news for article marketing.
People marketing products can write about their product on
a article marketing website, and then submit their links to
a social book marking website. This will give a dual
traffic to their articles.

One of the biggest features of social book marking websites
is tagging, that is, users can tag their bookmarks in a
group.

Social book marking has grown since it had first come up.
Today, they have enhanced themselves and also offer more
features than previously done. For example, most book
marking websites offer the users a chance to rank their
bookmarks. Of course, all this works towards the popularity
of the link that they have submitted.

Some social book marking websites also offer a feature
through which their users can create feeds of their
bookmarks. With this, users can get RSS feeds of any links
that are added to the website immediately.

There are, however, some disadvantages of Social book
marking. However, since Social book marking is a user-based
concept, these disadvantages are more about unscrupulous
use of social book marking than any problems in the concept
itself.

Some spammers use social book marking tools to spam. Also,
users who are not conversant with the Internet will not be
able to give proper information to the users of social book
marking websites.

Some social book marking websites offer their users their
own toolbars, which keep a record of the links that they
have bookmarked.

The Secret to Making Money Online With Affiliate Programs

The Secret to Making Money Online With Affiliate Programs
The real secret to making money online with affiliate
programs is to work hard. Maybe this was not the answer
you were looking for but it is the absolute truth. You
will not make a dime online if you sit on your behind and
do nothing regardless of what you may have heard. The
internet is not a free ride to an easy million dollars. It
is imperative to find out what works, and apply these
methods obsessively day in and day out.

Not having money to invest in certain tools and/or
advertising will make your job that much more difficult
also. It will not be impossible though, and that is great
news because not everyone has money to invest. What this
means is you are going to have to work harder and longer to
make affiliate programs pay out for you.

Take article marketing for example. I pay a monthly fee
for a distribution service that will submit my article to
hundreds of article directories at the click of a button.
I could manually submit my articles to each and every
directory that my distribution service does, but it would
literally take me days to submit that one article to the
same amount of directories. That being said, the service
provided is worth well more than the small fee I pay.

This holds true for the entire internet marketing arena.
There are a plethora of different services that will make
your job easier and make the affiliate programs pay out a
lot sooner and much more than they would without paying for
certain services.

There seems to be some misspoken information about the
internet and what it can provide when trying to use it to
make money. Business is business anyway you look at it,
whether on or off line. If you want to make money using
the internet, you have to apply real business methods.
This means to be successful, you are going to have to set
up a budget and spend money to make money. Off line, would
you ever go into a business without some money to invest?
Same applies to the internet.

There is quite a bit of a difference between costs in the
'real world' and on line. To start your own website will
cost just a fraction of what it would cost to start up a
business on the street. But you are still going to have to
work hard, money or no money, to get visitors to your
website. Once you get to the point where you are receiving
visitors on a regular basis, you have to make sure your
visitors are signing up for your affiliate programs.

That being said, you can make money and even a living from
affiliate based programs without having money to invest.
What you don't invest immediately out of pocket, you will
pay in time that you put in. The second you start making
any money online I would strongly suggest you use that
money to invest in services that will make your life and
efforts much easier.

Many people are using the internet and affiliate programs
to pay the bills and much more. Once you put in the effort
and really push yourself to succeed, these affiliate
programs can and will put money in your pockets month after
month for years to come, all in auto drive. The catch
here, and the secret to getting yourself money online with
affiliate programs is to work hard now and enjoy the fruits
of your labors later. Work hard now and I promise once you
see all that money coming in, success will feel sooooo good.

How To Build A Profitable Online Business

How To Build A Profitable Online Business
Give yourself the greatest chance of success in the online
business world by applying these basic success strategies
to build a profitable online business.

It is true that so many online businesses promote the
lifestyle benefits. The use of images and the sales pitch
make you believe that you can retire in a few months,
become a millionaire almost overnight, own the top sports
cars and buy a huge mansion.

Do not be fooled by the attractive sales line of starting
an online business that is fully automated, which implies
that you do not have to do much work in order to earn a
huge amount of money. A great deal of work needs to be
done if you intend building a profitable online business.

Unfortunately, it is due to the above that so many people
fail in their online business. They have been misled into
believing that owning a profitable online business is easy
without having to apply any basic business principles or do
very little work to earn a huge amount of money.

To treat your online business like a real business, not a
hobby, is the most important success strategy that you can
adopt. There are basic proven success strategies that the
highly successful online business owners put into practice
on a daily basis and you can implement them too.

You need to apply basic business principles with a full
time attitude to everything related to the business i.e.
internet marketing, cash flow management, product testing,
ad tracking, customer service, email marketing, website
updates and maintenance, etc.

Be firm with yourself and make the decision to either get
into business or get out. Only once you have decided that
you are in business can you move forward to accept the
challenge and take on the responsibility of building a
profitable online business.

A business is not exempt from these basic business
principles just because it is online. Sell something that
has value and market the product in such a way that you
attract the right potential customers to your website.

Give potential customers visiting your site a way of
contacting you, either by email, fax or phone. This builds
trust and gives you the opportunity to get to know them.

Add a photograph to your website using a good professional
head and shoulders shot. Project a professional image of a
real business. Your business should be designed to fulfill
a need and you will start making a profit when you put your
customers' needs first.

It is a fact that internet marketing requires discipline
and hard work. Find out what is and isn't working and why.
Track every possible means that a potential customer has
of finding your website. If you are using PPC or other
paid advertising conversion rates are important. You need
to constantly monitor and check and tweak where necessary.

Know your opt-in and opt-out statistics - at what stage are
they opting out - find out why. Which traffic sources are
generating the highest opt-ins? Track, test and monitor
everything you do. When making changes to your website,
make one change at a time and when you get different
results you will then know exactly what caused the new
result.

The great thing about the internet is that you can track
everything; it is just a matter of being disciplined and
avoiding the guessing game. Know what your top performing
keywords and keyword phrases are and at what position in
the search engines do they perform best. Know your click
through rate to sales conversion rate.

Time management is of utmost importance especially if you
are only able to put in a few hours a day. Decide what is
important and what is urgent. Prepare a daily task list
with time limits on each. Good cash flow management is
essential.

In summary therefore, provide something of value that
solves a need or a problem. Show your potential customers,
by projecting the right image, that you are a real
professional online business that cares. Use the right
keywords and keyword phrases in order to attract targeted
prospects. Never ever stop marketing your online business
as you can never get enough exposure. Invest a portion of
your profits back into the business.

You will form a very solid foundation to an online business
by applying these very basic business principals and online
business success strategies. Combine these with your
decision to "get into business" with a "full time attitude"
and you are on the road to building a highly profitable
online business.

Knowing the Potentialities and Prospects of your Expired domain

Knowing the Potentialities and Prospects of your Expired domain
There is a feeling of skepticism and remorse for expired
domain names and this is true when you consider the low
probability of selling an expired domain name for a decent
price. However, the fact remains that some of the good
expired domain names do possess very good value, while a
number of others can bring you unexpected riches and
dividends as well!

Here are a few guidelines and suggestions that can help you
understand know the immense potentialities of owing your
expired domain:

a) Increasing frequency of unsolicited offers to buy an
expired domain: If you receive a number of unsolicited
offers to buy one of your expire domains, then you have a
great opportunity to sell one of your domains. It also
clearly shows and exhibits that someone is really looking
for your name! It is also the right time to fix a good
price for the domain on request and sell it off
immediately, when you perceive that the selling price is
just right.
b) The nature of the domain name extension: Do you have a
.com extension name with you? Generally, a .com will have a
higher asking price, when compared to other extensions. A
good .com expired domain name will have a good prospect of
selling at a very high price.
c) The length of the expired domain name: Shorter is always
the better! Shorter expired domain name better will be your
chances of selling it to prospective buyers. If you have a
shorter expired domain at your disposal, you can always
bargain for a better price.
d) Do you have a hyphenated expired domain at your
disposal? Hyphens may help you retain the clarity of the
domain name. However, they can seriously reduce the real
market value of the domain name. If you own an expired
domain name with a hyphen in between the letters or words,
then the perceived market value will be much lower.
e) Do you have expired domains that spell incorrectly? If
your expired domain name contains any misspellings or
syntax errors, then you may find it very tedious to sell
that domain. Above all, there are chances that you may get
into trademark and copyright violation and infringement
issues.
f) Do your expired domains contain singular or plural
wordings? If you have an expired domain contain a singular
word, then the prospects of selling that domain becomes
very brighter. On the other hand, an expired domain name
with plural words will have little commercial value.
g) Does your expired domain contain prefixes or suffixes?
Prefixes and suffixes will hurt the real selling value of
your expired domains. Never ever attempt to buy expired
domains that comes with a prefix or a suffix.
h) Is your expired domain name too long? How many words are
there in your expired domain names? Shorter the domain name
better will be the prospects of selling it. Shorter names
will be easy to remember and recall, while it is also
flexible enough to type a short name on the browser address
bar.

If you are thinking of collecting expired domain names or
if you wish to sell an existing expired domain name, then
ensure that you are learning more about the real
potentialities and prospects of your expired domain names.

Managing Time And Your Life

Managing Time And Your Life
There is one commodity that nearly everyone runs out of and
that is time. For some reason when someone opens a home
computer business they believe that suddenly their days
will have more hours in them than they did when they worked
for someone else. Unfortunately, it doesn't take long for
them to realize that there are not only the same number of
hours in a day, but those hours may seem like they have
fewer minutes in them.

Time management is not a skill that can be taught, it is a
behavior that has to be learned. Many tools are available
to help people manage their time, but they have to take the
initial step in getting started before they can make better
use of the time they have. Time management will also help
them balance their work and home life, commonly referred to
as creating a work-life balance and to start they need to
realize how closely they are related.

Too many people have a calendar for their work and a
separate calendar for their family life. With the two so
closely connected, they only need one calendar. Instead of
having to consult with two pieces of paper before
determining if you can make a meeting or not, pulling out
one calendar can make the decision an easy one. It does not
matter what brand is considered the best or the most
expensive. The only thing that matters is that you get a
planner with a calendar and use it regularly.

Before you fill out the calendar you will need to make sure
you have your priorities in order. Every day, new
priorities will pop up based on emergencies and customer
demands. One thing to consider is that when a customer
emergency comes up and is direct conflict with a scheduled
family event, you will have to decide on where your
priorities are on that specific date and time. If you have
a helper who can take care of the customer issue, without
conflicting with their family calendar, that's a plus. If
not, the customer may have to wait until you get done.

Setting daily priorities should always begin with a block
of time being set aside as contingency time. That is time
set aside to handle unexpected issues and can be as little
as 15 minutes. If nothing happens, you have an extra 15
minutes unclaimed at the end of the day. If it does, you
have time to handle it without throwing the schedule
complete out of whack.

Possibly the best thing you can do to better manage your
home computer business and time is to establish a minimum
of 10 minutes every morning to reprioritize any items that
did not get done from yesterday's list. This daily planning
session can be the first thing you do when you have your
first cup of coffee. The bottom line is you need to get
into the habit to review your daily plans and then stick to
the plan throughout the day.

Viral Marketing - Secret Affiliate Weapon

Viral Marketing - Secret Affiliate Weapon
Viral Marketing 101 - Not Using It Could Kill Your Business!

Creativity.

This is one virtue a site must possess to lead the race in
the ruthless competition in the Internet based business.
With so many competition and rivalry going on, every method
of marketing must be employed and utilized.

It doesn't matter if you have a killer product or a
fantastically designed website, if people don't know that
you exist, it doesn't matter, and you are not going to make
it big. Worse of all, you business could just get killed.

While there are so many methods and schemes used by so many
e-commerce sites today, there are still some of those that
can help you with an extra boost in the popularity ratings.
One of these is the so called Viral Marketing.

While the term Viral easily depicts a virus, a word very
much dreaded by all computer owners, it is not what it
seems. You do not actually use a computer virus to spread
your business; on the contrary it just might kill you.
Everyone has had enough of all those pop up ads and
spywares.

Viral Marketing Overview

Viral Marketing also known otherwise as Viral Advertising
is a marketing technique used to build the public awareness
of one's product or company. They use many forms of media
to reach out to the public without actually promoting the
product by riding on in other forms of addictive means that
could get a person hooked and be obliged or amused to
actually pass it on, with the product or company
advertisement along with it.

In a nutshell, companies ride on the idea that if people
like the content of a media they will pass it on to their
friends and family. They sponsor the certain media, such as
a cool flash game, funny video, amusing story and such,
which one may pass on to another with the company brand or
logo or the products description or any other content to
help promote the company or its product.

Viral marketing has become a popular means of advertising
and marketing because they are relatively low cost. To
avoid being tagged as spam mail, viral marketing counts on
the eagerness of one person to pas on the product. If a
person sees the name of the person they know as the sender,
they won't block it and open it as well.

Many companies offer incentives such as discounts and
rebates when they help in spreading their viral marketing.
They rely on the number of recipients a viral marketing
gets from one person in determining the amount or number of
incentive they can be attributed with.

Using Viral Marketing to your advantage

The main and foremost advantage of viral marketing is that
you get a lot of publicity and public awareness about your
site and your company. You get to generate a flow of
traffic that are potential customers. With a little
ingenuity and imagination, plus some incentives or prizes,
you can reach out to a great number of people and announce
your existence.

Most every site and companies are catching on to the
effectivity of Viral Marketing and Advertising. Not using
it could kill your business. Along with other schemes and
methods in promoting your site, like Search Engine
Optimization and such, viral marketing could easily push
you ahead in the rating games.

Viral Marketing could be a sneaky way to get people to know
about you and your company. You get them to pass your
advertisement along. They are also very low cost that not
investing in it could be downright a business suicide. All
it takes is a great idea, a good addicting game, a funny
story many ideas are still out there. Create a gossip or a
buzz, many movies are promoted by using scandals and
gossips to make them moiré popular. Remember the movie "The
Blair Witch Project"?

Many big companies have tried viral marketing and have had
many success stories with it. A classic example is
Microsoft's Hotmail. They were the first known big company
to utilize the scheme and it has worked wonders for them.

Now it's your turn to use viral marketing to work wonders
for you. Act now and reap the benefits Viral Marketing will
provide for you and your sales figures.

Efficient mailing on the basis of the essential principles of e-mail marketing - part II

Efficient mailing on the basis of the essential principles of e-mail marketing - part II
Every advantage has to be supported with product or service
features. And one should use specific numbers instead of
generalisations. A story with a hidden message can be
placed in the email's content as well. It is also worth
repeating the most important elements of the offer and add
information about what a client can get for free.

The opinions of clients or of authorities on a given
subject, examination results to raise the importance of
arguments in favour of the offer can also be used. The
author should explicitly write if they want the recipient
to take action, but at the same time, ought to inform what
the client can get in exchange for it. The best solution
would be to offer something free of charge, for instance a
bonus coupon or access to a report inaccessible for
everyone else. Marketing specialists suggest putting
postscript in the mailing, containing the offer's summary,
alternative benefits or a bonus not advertised, which
should convince the hesitant person. The principles of
writing offers are also applied in writing persuasive
emails, however, the message should contain one to two
screens and be only a sort of introduction to the offer on
the website. The language used in the email should be
simple. The advertisement hidden in the email content has
to go through the stages of AIDA model (Attention,
Interest, Desire, Action), i.e. attract attention, raise
interest to get more information about a product and boost
the desire to have it, create or emphasise the clients'
needs, and finally, convince to take action, for instance
to make an order.

However, if the clients do not have confidence in our
brand, they will not perform any action. Confidence is
built up slowly and one cannot make recipients do something
immediately. Emails should be written in such a way to
gradually build the client's confidence in the company and
its products. This can be achieved by placing in the email
short information about the product, pictures, and
references to the Internet website with a detailed
description of the product or services.

According to Email Labs research, the more active
references to the websites (with detailed information) in
the email, the better. Each link has to be marked correctly
and stand out from the text, e.g. Read more (use bold and
underline). The text cannot be too long. It is advisable to
prepare short paragraphs with references to the website,
where the recipient could get more information.

Only after informing and building up this confidence the
author can think about persuading the clients to perform an
action, e.g. to buy the product, stressing all the time
what benefits they have. Every email has to contain
information about the sender's name, surname, email address
and company's data including the sender's telephone number
(4 to 8 lines). The summary of a Privacy Policy or at least
the Internet reference to this should be placed in the page
footer, separated from the message with, for example, a
dotted line. Moreover, at the bottom of the message there
should be information about why the email was sent to the
recipient and how one can withdraw from subscription list
in a simple way (usually by one click).

Contrary to appearances, the simpler it is to resign, the
fewer number of people actually do it. Methods for running
mailing campaigns Having prepared mailing messages and a
specified group of recipients, the mailing campaign can
begin. If our company does not have its own teleaddress
database, we can hire a company that will on our behalf
send the mailing to people whose addresses it has in its
base. And in this way, we can buy mailing to a given group
of free email account users on popular portals. To buy
email address databases in an auction or to gather them
directly from Internet websites without the users consent
is not a good solution.

If we do not know who a given email address belongs to,
what their interests or preferences are, such an address
will be of no use to us. What is more, by sending mailing
to such addresses our company can lose more than it can
gain. If we possess our own email address database of our
clients or potential clients, we will need a tool that
allows to send personalised email to a large group of
recipients. The program Outlook and the field BCC (Blind
Carbon Copy) should not be used for professional
correspondence. There shouldn't be any problem with
choosing software for mass mailing. There are programs
available on the market free of charge (under licence
freeware or open source), which can be installed on our
computers or systems made available in ASP model
(Application Service Provider), to which we can gain access
through the producer's Internet website.

The chosen solution in particular situations hinges on the
size of address databases or on mailing features (mailing
size, the number of mailing campaigns, etc.). The cost of
purchasing a mass mailing program licence should not be
higher than 200 USD. What is more, monthly subscription to
access professional email marketing systems available in
ASP model ought not to exceed 100 USD. However, those
latter systems have much more possibilities in monitoring a
mailing campaign's effectiveness. Conclusion According to
the Direct Marketing Association, the number of marketing
emails rises about 30% annually. This rise is due to low
costs and growing effectiveness of this technique of
promotion. As the latest data show, the percentage of
replies to emails also increases and is now running at a
level from 3 to 8 % and it can be higher with narrow client
segmentation. According to the latest research by the
company SARE, newsletters are gaining more and more
popularity, which are now subscribed by 90% of those
surveyed.

The way in which received messages are perceived has also
improved, as 75% of subscribers express positive opinions
about them. The preferred frequency of receiving
newsletters has also changed. Today about 1/3 want to
receive mailing even a few times a week, provided that it
is concrete, readable and that there is a possibility to
resign from it at any time (and in a simple way). The HTML
format for newsletters is preferable for the majority of
surveyed (80%), only IT department workers are in favour of
text format. Research also shows that more than half of
companies do not use electronic mail in promotion campaigns
yet, but 65% of them are to take advantage of mailing, as
today, they see benefits from applying email marketing.
Companies acknowledge the possibility of having more
contact with clients, the growing number of visits on their
website and low communication costs via electronic mail.

Therefore, if your company has not created a newsletter on
its website, it is the right time to do so. There are
plenty of programs for so called mass mailing or email
marketing on the software market, thanks to which it will
be possible to gather email addresses of potential clients
automatically and then to run a personalised mailing
campaign. Good address databases (targeted adequately)
allows you to build confidence among present and future
clients and improve the company's image, therefore,
increasing income. However, it is advisable to study the
Personal Data Protection Act and Act on Electronically
Supplied Services before starting to send mass
correspondence.

Without being familiar with those acts, the sender can
subconsciously become a spammer and will be placed on the
list of spam sources (read RBL- Relay Block List), as a
result, emails sent from your company will be deleted
immediately by software fighting against spam and will not
reach any recipients.

Ten Simple Steps To Starting A Successful Network Marketing Business!

Ten Simple Steps To Starting A Successful Network Marketing Business!
Successful network marketers had to face a lot of rejection
to build their businesses. They tend to not only be
successful in business but also in life overall.

I recently saw a statistic that over 20,000 people in the
U.S. are making over a million dollars a year in network
marketing. The profit possibilities are really that huge.

Network Marketing works, and it is not as hard to get
started as most of us think. What can be vital to your
success is to do some research before choosing a company.

Here are a few tips to differentiate an honest network
marketing company from a scheme.

1. How can you tell the difference between a pyramid scheme
and a legitimate company? It's simple. A pyramid scheme is
when no product is being sold. It's where people recruit
people, who recruit more people, and so on. There is no
product. What eventually happens is that no more people
join and everyone except those at the top are left with
nothing. Understand that you do not receive anything of
value when joining a program like this. All you get are
empty promises and that is why it's a scam.

2. Another problem with some companies is that they offer
expensive products and training. If you are paying more
than what you normally would for a product or service, then
avoid that company. You do not want to end up pushing
overpriced products with empty promises of making money on
others. A good company will have products or services
priced at or below market value. This makes it much easier
for those who just want to consume the products and not
recruit anyone.

3. Reasonable or no startup costs are very important. A
home business should be very inexpensive to start. It is
important to get value out of every dollar that you spend.
What may be surprising to most people is how inexpensive it
actually can be to start a network marketing business.

TIP: Find a company with products that you are already
buying and just switch your purchases, that way your
startup cost is free! What a way to start your home
business. You can actually make a profit with your first
sale because you are not spending anymore money than you
were before starting your business.

4. A good company will offer free or inexpensive training
because they should be interested in everyone's success,
not just the companies.

5. People in a company should seem honest and have
confidence in their business. Contact people from a company
you are interested in, talk to them. Do they seem genuine?
Are they excited? If they are just trying to sell their
company, then find another company.

6. What is most attractive about network marketing is the
passive component. A company should provide your efforts
with the opportunity to be multiplied as more and more
people join your team. I love the concept of getting paid
over and over again for work that I did just once.

7. Find a dedicated mentor that will help you build your
business. Before joining any company find out who your
sponsor will be, talk to them and make sure that they are
committed to working with you, and sharing what they have
already learned. An active, helpful sponsor can determine
your success within any company.

8. Find a company that ships the product directly to the
customer. Avoid buying any more product than you can
consume.

9. The compensation plan should be easy to understand as
well as provide a nice balance between passive income and
income made off of actual sales. A good plan should offer
more than one way to get paid, such as fast start
commissions, bonus pools, as well as residual income.

10. Finding a company that has a high rate of customer
retention will save you allot of stress in the future.
Understand that every company will have some retention, but
if a company provides quality products with quality
training then members will stick around.

One big reason that most people are not successful in
network marketing is because they fear rejection! If you
want to start your own business then you will either have
to get on the phone and market your business or pay someone
to do it. The only way to avoid it is to continue working
for someone else.

Successful entrepreneurs are willing to do the things that
most people do not want to do.

Remember this:

1. A percentage of people that you call will answer.

2. A percentage of people that answer will listen.

3. A percentage of people that listen will be interested.

4. A percentage of people that are interested will sign up.

By understanding these percentages and learning what the
above ratios are for your business then you will know
exactly what you need to do to be successful.

6 Reasons People Fail No Matter What Work At Home Business Opportunity They Choose

6 Reasons People Fail No Matter What Work At Home Business Opportunity They Choose
Do you know why so many people fail when they start a work
at home business opportunity? There are many people that
have started a home business online and have been very
successful with it.

The difference between the people who fail and the people
who succeed no matter what home business they are
promoting, is that the successful people know why others
fail and they take steps to avoid the same thing themselves.

Here is why so many people fail no matter what work at home
business opportunity they choose to promote.

One: Education - Too many people ignore this and they end
up failing. You have to educate yourself about starting a
home business and what it takes to make it successful.

It sounds complicated and it can be if you don't know
anything about it. You can easily overcome this problem by
learning everything you need to over a period of time.
Learn one thing at a time and you will soon find yourself
succeeding where others are failing.

Two: Too many people get online looking for a get rich
quick home business. There is no such thing. This is one
thing you have to realize because if you are looking for
this then you will fail every time.

Three: People tend to jump around from one work at home
business opportunity to another without taking the time to
make the first one successful. When you have a home
business you have to choose one or a couple of
opportunities and stick with them until they are
successful. Only then should you add others if you want to.

Four: This is a big reason that people fail. It doesn't
matter if you have all of the knowledge in the world about
how to make your home business successful if you don't take
action and use that knowledge then you will always fail.
You have to make sure you take action every day, even if it
is only something small.

Five: Not having enough patience is another reason people
fail with a work at home business opportunity. Your
business will take time to become successful. This is just
a fact that everyone has to deal with and accept. The more
effort you put into your business the faster you will see
results.

Six: Setting goals is very important with a home business
and too many people never do it. Believe it or not but
setting goals can help you become very successful because
they help to keep you focused and working to make your
business successful. Plus, they allow you to see what you
have accomplished already and what you are aiming for next.

These are the six reasons why so many people fail no matter
what work at home business opportunity they choose. You can
avoid all of these now that you know them and make your
business very successful.

How To Start An Online Business From Scratch

How To Start An Online Business From Scratch
One advantage of doing business online is that you can
start from scratch without investing much money. Here is a
27 Step Action Plan to help you get started...

1. List 5 hobbies, interests or areas of expertise. If you
want to start a new business, you'd better choose a subject
that you like and a subject where you can show expertise.
You will have more fun and you will be more competitive.

2. Brainstorm a list of keywords and phrases related to
those hobbies and interests. For example, if you are going
to sell small airplane collectibles, some possible keywords
could be: airplanes, aeronautics, war airplanes, etc.

3. Research those keywords in Wordtracker.com to locate
problem statements that have high search results and low
competition. Wordtracker.com is a web page that helps you
find out how many times your keywords are searched online,
how popular your keywords on search engines are. Those
keywords may represent problem statements. Wordtracker
shows you how many people are buying traffic on those
keywords and how much are they paying. You need to find
popular statements with low competition.

4. Research those problem statements further to determine
if you can develop a product to solve the problem stated.
You may use search engines to see how many people are
offering products that can help to solve those problems. If
you find a popular problem and there are not many people
offering solutions online, you've got it!

5. Find or create a product based on previous research for
you to sell. Once you found a hungry market, you just need
to find the food that your customers want and they will eat
from your hands. You may find companies online that can
manufacture the products for you or you may find a
different way to create the product yourself. If the
product is an e-book, you may write it yourself or you may
hire someone else to do it.

6. Write a long copy sales letter for that product. The
experience of the most important internet marketing gurus
reveals that long copies sell much more than short copies.
It is also recommendable that you try to sell only one
product on your web site. Focus on one product unless the
solution you are providing is the offer of a wide catalogue.

7. Register a domain and set up a hosting account. There
are many places online where you can register a domain and
set up a hosting account in minutes.

8. Register for a merchant account (to set up quickly use
PayPal.com). If you don't want to register a merchant
account that will allow you to take credit card payments
online, go to PayPal.com and sign in. It can be a little
bit more expensive, but it is a simple way to take credit
card payments online very quickly.

9. Set up a simple web site using an automatic site builder
or pay to have someone set it up for you. Do not try to
design your own web site unless you are educated on html.
Do not waste your time. Hire someone else to do it or buy
automatic web site builder software. There are many of
these you can buy online.

10. Set up an opt-in form on your web site to collect
e-mail addresses. You need to start collecting e-mail
addresses for your newsletter. The major part of your
business will come from the emails that you will send to
your customer list.

11. Build an extensive keyword list based on the initial
list of keywords you developed. Use Overture.com. For each
keyword on the initial list, Overture can help you find
different combinations with other words that you may find
interesting. Check the popularity of each term and write
down on a spread sheet your final keyword list.

12. Submit those keywords to Overture.com to start driving
traffic right away. You need to start driving some traffic
immediately in order to test your web site. The best way to
do that is to buy this traffic at overture.com

13. Optimize and submit your web site to organic search
engines (Google, Altavista, etc...). Once you have proved
that your web site works and sells, you will be ready to
make the business bigger. It is then time to start working
on building free traffic to your site.

14. Continue to test and tweak your web site until target
conversion rate is met. Your conversion ratio should be
that 1-2% of your visitors should buy from your web site,
and 11% should subscribe to your newsletter. Continue
testing until you get those stats.

15. Set up an affiliate program on your web site. Affiliate
programs can double your business with no additional
effort. Others will make the job for you. But you cannot
set up an affiliate program before you are sure that your
web site can produce results. If your site does not work,
you will loose your affiliates and they will never come
back to you again.

16. Approach complimentary web sites to sign up as
affiliates to promote your product. Get in contact with
people that can promote your product and ask them to be
your affiliates. Just try to find your first 100
affiliates, and your affiliate list will boom alone.

17. Start publishing a monthly newsletter. You have started
collecting e-mail addresses much earlier, but it is not the
time to start working the newsletter until you can prove
that everything else works.

18. Submit articles to related newsletters and e-zines on a
regular basis. In the articles you should always have a
link to your site, so that you can get more traffic and you
can get more people joining to your newsletter.

19. Continue the development of a content rich web site to
further increase search engine rankings. Search engines
love content. You must have many web sites which are rich
on your keywords and which have links to your main page. A
good way to do this is to add as many articles as you can
related to your business and link them to your home page.

20. Once keywords have been tested in Overture, roll out in
Google Adwords. It works similar to Overture, you bid for
traffic. But do not go to Google Adwords first. You must
first prove your success with Overture and then go to
Google Adwords.

21. Roll out tested keyword list in other major PPCs. When
you are sure about your stats, and you know how much money
you collect per visitor, you must buy as much traffic as
you can get as far as your income per visitor is higher
than your bids.

22. Create a viral e-book to generate more leads. Create a
free e-book that you can promote and which sells your
product or service. Give it for free, and this will bring
more traffic to your web site.

23. Have an expert review and critique your web site. Even
if your site works, you can always improve. Listen to
others and learn from their experiences.

24. Survey your existing customers to find out what other
products or services they are looking for. Once you have a
big list of customers, use it to find out what other
problems do they have. Try to find or create a solution for
them and you will boost your sales instantaneously.

25. Create and find back-end products and market them
through your e-mail list. Continue finding more products
that meet your customer demands and promote them via e-mail.

26. Continue to test and tweak your web site and offers.
Nothing is perfect the first time and can always be
improved. It is very important that you take action, even
if you make mistakes. Learn from your errors and improve
your skills.

27. Repeat process to create "Multiple Streams of Income".
Once your business is working on automation, then you can
start the process again with a new business. Build as many
businesses as you can, and reduce your risks. If one
business fails, but you have another 5 working businesses,
who cares about it?

If you have read up to this point, you are probably asking
yourself how much it will cost to get started? The answer
is very simple; it depends on how much time and money you
have available to invest! If you have a lot of time, you
can do everything yourself. On the other hand, if you don't
have time, you will have to pay other people for building
your website and/or for optimizing your site on search
engines.

If you can do nothing else...just launch a web site and
start promoting online...

Social Networking: How to Make it Work for Your Business

Social Networking: How to Make it Work for Your Business
It seems as though everywhere I turn I'm bombarded with
information about some aspect of social networking --
Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, Twitter, Ryze, Fast
Pitch...the list goes on and on. I've been quite slow to
jump on the social networking bandwagon. I did create a
MySpace profile about a year ago, and recently gave up on
doing anything with it, as I wasn't seeing any results. My
new choice in the social networking arena is Facebook,
which is where my target market appears to be hanging out.

Based on my use and evaluation of several of these
platforms over the last few years, here's my synopsis of
the 3 primary social networking sites important for online
business owners: Facebook, MySpace, and LinkedIn:

Facebook: This one is the current fad, with many people
conducting teleclasses and coaching programs on how to best
use it. I do like its clean interface and easy-to-read
profiles. Many people, from all demographics, seem to be
on Facebook. The service offers the ability to add friends
by searching for high school/college classmates and by
searching former/current colleagues in the workplace. The
downside to the application is that you must have a
Facebook account in order to view anyone's profile. More
and more plug-ins (small applications) are being added to
Facebook every day that tweak how this application
functions. If you're an author or a business owner,
Facebook permit you to add stand-alone pages about your
business(es) or book(s) to your profile. Lastly, if you
blog, you can plug your blog feed into your profile to
update your friends from your blog every time you make a
new post.

LinkedIn: This has been the steady, reliable, social
networking platform that's very career and job focused.
Your profile consists primarily of your job history,
without much flexibility to promote your business. If your
target market consists of corporate types, this is probably
the social networking platform for you. You have the
ability to add connections in the same way that Facebook
provides, and your connections have the ability to submit a
recommendation about you if they wish.

MySpace: I still find MySpace the most annoying of all the
social networking sites, and hear too many horror stories
of MySpace stalkers and of people having to close accounts
due to harassment by other users. This is still the domain
of teen set, although most musicians and many artists
successfully create followings here for themselves.
MySpace offers many options to personalize and customize
your profile, which renders many profiles virtually
impossible to read. If your target market leans toward
teens or creative types, this is the social networking site
for you.

Here's what I have learned along the way to make social
networking a successful marketing strategy for your
business:

1. Pick one platform. So many business owners spread
themselves too thin by participating in several social
networking sites. I've discovered that you could easily
devote your entire day to this endeavor and never
accomplish anything else. Pick the best platform that will
get you in front of your target market and stick to it.

2. Determine your objective. How does this social
networking task fit into your overall marketing strategy?
What's your objective -- to sell more info products, to
grow your list, to develop joint venture or strategic
alliance partners? Determine your goal and remain focused
on that goal in all that you do when spending your time to
work your platform.

3. Work the platform. No marketing strategy will succeed
unless you pay attention to it. In order to successfully
use social networking, you need to work your platform every
single day. Ideally, this means devoting 30-60 minutes
each day on activities like seeking new
friends/connections/, commenting on other people's
profiles, updating your own profile, and notifying your
connections about your current activities.

4. Be patient. Rome wasn't built in a day, and you won't
see results of your efforts in a day, either. This is a
slow and steady process, much the same way that
face-to-face networking is. You've got to be out there
building relationships and helping others before you're
going to see your social networking goals realized.

5. Invite others. Don't hide the fact that you're playing
in the social networking arena -- invite your contacts to
play along with you. Most platforms offer you the ability
to send out these invitations from your contact database.
Let your ezine subscribers and blog readers know as well --
never pass up an opportunity to get to know your contacts.

Like it or not, social networking is here to stay. Follow
these five tips to make social networking a marketing
strategy that works for your online business.

How To Use Anticipation In Product Launches

How To Use Anticipation In Product Launches
5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 .... Product Launch BLASTOFF. Your
adrenalin spikes, your pulse quickens as you push the SEND
button. Then you wait. And wait. And wait. Uncertainly
clouds your vision and the word "failure" looms on the
horizon. "Where are the SALES?"

The scene plays over and over for millions of online
marketers who never realised the importance of a strategic
product launch.

You can change this scene if you take the right steps.

5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 .... Product Launch BLASTOFF. Your
adrenalin spikes, your pulse quickens as you push the SEND
button. WOW! The first sale is made, then the next, then
the next - you exceed your expectations ... and your
merchant account reveals the truth of your success.

Two launches, same product. What made the difference in
these two scenarios?

Product launch strategies!

A successful product launch just doesn't happen ... it is a
well-executed event. An event with a strategically timed
process that creates a frenzy BEFORE the sa,e. This frenzy
is triggered by anticipation.

Anticipation is best created long before the launch. It
provides an opportunity for your subscribers and customers
to raise their hands and say, "Yes, place me on your
preferred list. I want to be the first to know when your
product will be released." Once you have their YES, feed
their anticipation with daily communications to whet their
appetite for the upcoming event, and make your messages
valuable.

Offer free reports, audio files, pod casts or eBooks to
educate them about your product. The value of your free
gifts will confirm the anticipated value of your product.

How do you get your market involved in the anticipation of
your product launch?

Communication is the key: Videos, Blogs, Public Speaking.

1. Videos - Add videos to your website. Engage your
customers in the product. Demonstrate the application of a
strategy, system or technique. Videos trigger the
emotional pull to your product. It sparks the "I want
that!" emotion.

2. Blogs - The "in" form of communication on the web.
Top markers such as Jason Potash, Yanik Silver, Jim
Edwards, Frank Kern, John Reese and Jeff Walker all use
this vehicle to engage their readers in discussion about
their products. Blogs produce traffic and interest AND they
convert visitors to customers.

3. Pubic Speaking - It is your product. You are the
expert. Let the world know it. Stimulate interest within
your "social community" and they will raise their hands to
be on your preferred list - the first to buy your product
because they know you personally!

Now you know the "hidden secrets" of the most successful
product launches - including the John Reese historical
product launch - a million dollars sold in one day. Expert
advice from such professionals is sure to help you
orchestrate a fantastic product launch.

4 Unconventional Ways to Market Your Ezine

4 Unconventional Ways to Market Your Ezine
There are hundreds of ways to market your ezine. Some are
good, some are expensive and many are both.

We've all heard of:

* article marketing (effective if done right)

* ezine advertising (can work) * Google Adwords (can be
expensive)

* purchasing lists (I don't recommend)

* hosting teleseminars (very effective if marketed well)

But have you considered any of the following:

1. Networking Meetings/Conferences.

In addition to bringing business cards designed to grow
your list (meaning they include a call to action to get
prospects to your website), have you thought about creating
a large 4.25 by 5.5 inch advertisement (on colored paper)
for your ezine?

These will stand out in a pile of standard-sized business
cards and people are drawn to reading them. If you're
allowed to bring handouts or marketing materials, print out
one of your best ezines and let prospects take that
(include a neon sticker telling them how to sign up and
offer them a special event-only gift!).

2. Co-registration.

In addition to encouraging people to sign up for your ezine
on YOUR website, partner with others who offer
complementary, not competing, services and each of you list
the other's ezine on your "thank you" page.

The prospect has already signed up for your ezine and now
has the option of signing up for others which you recommend
-- just be sure the complementary ezines contain valuable
information and are not all promotion before you recommend!

3. Direct Mail.

It's not f.r.e.e., but done right, direct mail is an
effective strategy for building your online list. Send a
postcard describing your ezine to your target audience and
watch your subscriptions increase!

Just remember...it often takes more than one mailing to
grab your prospect's attention -- think sequence, not solo.

4. Association Mailings.

Associations are always looking for new material to give
their members. Offer to write an article for their
membership (or repurpose one of your own) which includes a
call to action to bring them to your website or ezine
sign-up page.

I recently saw a commercial on Fox TV in which Fox, rather
than state "Think outside the box", stated "There is no
box". How can you apply this thinking to your marketing?

Your Coaching Challenge

While today's article is titled "Unconventional Ways to
Market Your Ezine", it could really be called
"Unconventional Ways to Market Your BLANK".

I challenge you to market your ezine (or business) in AT
LEAST one new and different way this week.

Ever wondered what wholesalers are actually for or what they really do?

Ever wondered what wholesalers are actually for or what they really do?
We have all the answers right here for you and additional
information on the benefits that come along with using a
company of this nature. When you're finished, our goal is
to help make it easier for each individual to use
wholesalers on different levels. Knowing that they can
have various benefits, the idea is to cover them all and
hopefully, in the process help give everyone a better
understanding of who will best suit their needs.

We first want to talk about the individuals who use
wholesalers for business purposes. Even if you haven't
thought about it, there might be an interest shortly. The
reason wholesalers are so popular today is because of the
value they have for individuals that may be married and
need a secondary income, or really anyone who needs to make
more money. Back about fifteen to twenty years ago, all we
ever heard about was big companies that used this type of
business approach to purchase large quantities of products
and save money per item in the process.

However, over the years, online entities like eBay and
other auction websites have allowed individual people to
sell their belongings on their website. When it was
realized that money could be made this way, people started
seeking other avenues to gain products worth selling. Some
went to garage sales or placed ads in the paper, but others
looked towards the opportunities that wholesalers had to
offer. It's pretty much how everything came to be, but
finding the right one for you can be somewhat difficult.

First off, wholesalers are going to allow individuals to
make a full time income. Second, you have to find one that
will benefit the avenues that want to be taken with your
business. Take jewelry, for instance, which happens to be
one of the biggest sellers on eBay. The trick is to find
out which items are hot and then search through the
wholesalers that will give you the best price and has those
products available. It's important to feel comfortable
with a particular wholesaler because when these items are
available, hesitating on a purchase may cost you the bulk
all together when it's not there tomorrow. So just keep
this mind when you are ready to make a purchase.

Now, while wholesalers can be very important to making
extra money, there are other costs that will create more
work for you as a seller. Boxes, bubble wrap, meter money,
and several other supplies will be needed to deliver
products to the purchaser and that's not including charging
for shipping and handling fees. For some people, that just
means more money, but for others it means more time and
something many people don't have anymore. If this sounds
like you, using wholesalers like dropshippers may work
better for your home based business.

Dropshippers are wholesalers that allow you to sell so many
different types of products we can't keep count, but
instead of doing all the work to send the merchandise out
to others, they do it for you. However, it does usually
cost a monthly fee or even a one time price, but the
benefit of not having any inventory may help you
tremendously. You deal with the customers, but just tell
the dropshipper where to send it and in a matter of days,
your clients have their products. It's a great idea and is
a huge market in the online business industry.

These aren't the only kinds of wholesalers that can benefit
your family. Warehouse businesses all around your local
area sell products in bulk, it's just something that needs
to be well searched. If you need groceries, school
clothes, aspirin, socks, or anything else available in
bundles, it's feasible to purchase them all. Keep in mind
some of the local places may charge you a fee to purchase
from them, but that is nothing new. Hopefully, you will
find everything you're looking for to begin a home based
business and build another income or simply get the
groceries you need for down the road.

Avoiding Banners and Direct Email Campaigns

Avoiding Banners and Direct Email Campaigns
There are a number of ways to maximize your profits and
often they have nothing to do with increasing revenue. Case
in point, if you are pulling in $1,000 a week in your
internet business and spending $1,100 you are losing $100
and if you are pulling in $400 and spending $300 you are
making a $100 profit. Sadly, many people look at the person
"earning" $1,000 as successful despite the fact that this
person is overspending with little result. Such is the case
when it comes to online marketing and the traditional
banner advertisements and email campaigns of prior years.

Yes, at one time these methods of advertising were
successful ways of drawing in a potential buyer. Placing a
low cost banner advertisement on a website leads drew great
attention to products in the past. Ditto email marketing
which essentially took the age old concept of direct mail
marketing and made it electronic. Times, however, have
changed and these methods of marketing - while still
somewhat useful - really can no longer be the strategic
basis of a marketing campaign.

With banner advertisements the actual purchases on "click
throughs" have diminished. Also, the number of people
clicking on banners has diminished as well. Part of the
reason for this is that people have become wary of the
spyware intrusions that banner ads often bring. For email
marketing, it was overexposure that killed the beast.
Essentially, people have become tired of receiving absurd
amounts of "spam" emails everyday and this has led to
greatly tuning out on advertisers who use such campaigns.
This is to say nothing of the increased costs of dealing
with bulk email marketing providers.

One can simply take a test of their own daily internet
activity to prove that these methods no longer work as
effectively. People spend more time on social networking
sites like Facebook and Myspace and video sharing sites
like YouTube than reading through emails or clicking on
banner ads. This alone is proof that the internet is moving
in a different direction to which there are no signs of
turning back. People are searching for content, and it
makes far more sense to advertise for little to no cost on
these types of sites versus paying thousands for outdated
methods.

The landscape of internet marketing has changed greatly
from prior years. These days, it would be far more
effective to look into search engine optimization, blog
advertising et al for ones online marketing needs.
Economics simply dictate as such.
