How To Increase Activity Among Your Downline

How To Increase Activity Among Your Downline
An idle downline is a common problem in Network Marketing.
You first start a business and you're seeing growth and
great potential. That is when the ride stops. Suddenly you
notice a huge drop in the amount of people joining your
downline and even worse, even though you may still be
bringing people in yourself you do not see any duplication
throughout your network.

The problem is usually not the company or anything to do
with the company such as the product or support. The
problem has to do with you and the upline support. The
truth is, you have to set the example and pace for your own
unique organization. You have to take control and help it
prosper. It is your responsibility to step up as leader.
The good thing is that being a leader is a skill that
anyone can learn. All it takes is learning the needed
actions to help move your downline into action itself.

I learned this the hard way at first. I never had trouble
sponsoring a lot of people myself, my problem was always in
the productivity of my downline. You can literally multiply
your income if you simply learn a few strategies to connect
your downline to information.

Knowledge is the key to success and knowledge only comes
from learning information. Look at it from the point of a
coach for a sports team. If that coach expected the players
to go to games and compete without any practice and without
any instruction... how would they perform? They would no
doubt lose every game. Network Marketing is the same thing.
You are the personal coach of every single person you
personally sponsor into your organization. They will not
succeed if you fail them. In fact, you will never greatly
succeed either if you fail them. Notice how I say you fail
them instead of them failing you? They have already
committed cash to join your organization, so you can thank
them for your lifestyle and you owe them - not the other
way around.

This is how you can repay them... Keep them informed and
offer to help with their organization just as any other
leader is expected to do. All you need to do is keep in
touch with your personal referrals and they should be
expected to keep in touch with theirs. Here is a list of
things you should consider to keep your downline active and
growing:

Remind them of conference calls. Send them helpful tips and
articles. Provide training at no cost. Forward company
updates or news to them personally. Let them participate in
a team coop

It's quite simple really when you think about it, but you
would be surprised how many people don't do it. So this
serves as a reminder.

An easy way to keep in contact with your referrals is to
keep a list of their names and e-mail addresses. When you
want to forward or send something to them use your e-mail
client to send a message and use their addresses in the BCC
(Blind Carbon Copy) section. You should also encourage your
personal referrals to pass it down to their referrals so
that your downline activity can be heightened.

Imagine everyone in your downline attending or listening to
your company conference calls and inviting others on them?
Just from that alone your organization can be growing like
wild. Keep your downline connected, work as a team, and you
will experience a major positive change in your downline
duplication and ultimate success.

Consistent Website Traffic Through Web 2.0

Consistent Website Traffic Through Web 2.0
Web 2.0 is the big buzz in website traffic these days. For
those of you who aren't yet familiar with what Web 2.0 is,
for online marketing purposes, basically it is a shift away
from website design and marketing tactics directed at
search engine rankings and towards designing sites and
using marketing tactics to appeal directly to the intended
end-users. Web 2.0, also called "social marketing" is a
conglomeration of news sharing sites, social networking
sites, content sharing sites, and anything else that allows
direct interaction between people on the internet. It's
really "word of mouth" marketing in the online world.

While most successful websites continue to get a
significant amount of their traffic from search engines,
relying on search engine traffic (generated either through
"organic" placement in search listings or through paid
placements through systems like Google Adwords), can be a
risky and/or expensive proposition. Just because a site is
#1 on Google today doesn't mean it will be tomorrow. In
fact, a slight change in a search engine's algorithm could
take your site from #1 to #100 (or 1000, or 1 million)
overnight, and the majority of your traffic could literally
vanish. If you're relying on paid advertising like
Adwords, you may have noticed that competition for good
keywords is constantly increasing, and therefore the cost
of purchasing good placement for your ads is likewise
rising steadily.

By comparison, sites that get the majority of their traffic
through Web 2.0 techniques are much more stable and
maintain a low overhead. There are a couple of big
advantages of using Web 2.0. First, you generate free
links to your site, and that tends to help your search
engine placements. Second, your site gets direct exposure
to your target market - for free! Why do you want good
search engine placement in the first place? So your target
market will find your site, right? Well Web 2.0 puts your
site in front of your target market AND helps improve your
search engine rankings at the same time!

OK,Web 2.0 sounds good so far, so why isn't everyone doing
it? Well, because there's one small hitch. Marketing your
site effectively with Web2.0 techniques is a lot of work
and is very time consuming. So, if you're looking for easy
money and want the ultimate "get rich quick" system, Web
2.0 marketing is definitely not for you. On the other
hand, if you don't mind working hard consistently for a
year or two to build an authority site that gets
consistently huge traffic and can be monetized any number
of ways for ongoing high profits, Web 2.0 is probably not
only the best way to go, it's rapidly becoming the ONLY way
to go.

To do Web 2.0 effectively, you need to have some resources
and tools at the ready. First and foremost, you'll need a
list of all the social networking sites, social bookmarking
sites, news submission sites, blogs, video sharing sites,
etc. in the niche you are working in. There are various
sources for this information, including searching Google
for key words in your niche, and also searching terms like
"social networking". One of the best sources for this
information that I've found is "The Authority Black Book",
by Jack Humphrey, which is available as a free download
(see my resource box for more information).

Second, although you can of course do everything manually,
using Web 2.0 effectively is time consuming, so you'll
benefit considerably by using whatever tools you can find
to at least partially automate the process of both creating
content to attract prospects in your niche and for
submitting your content links to the various Web 2.0 sites
you want to target. Various tools are available for
speeding up link submission and generating "buzz" for your
content, which increases your popularity on the Web 2.0
sites, increasing your visibility and links to your site,
which ultimately provides SEO benefits. Some of these
tools are competely free, such as Onlywire and
SocialMarker, which allow you to submit a link to any URL
on your site to mutiple sites simultaneously (once you've
set up accounts at all of those sites you are using these
tools to submit to).

By putting in the hard work initially and streamlining the
process of content generation and promotion whenever
possible, you will reach a point where you get strong
traffic to your site on a consistent basis through your Web
2.0 efforts and are no longer subject to the whims of the
search engines.

Why Not LLI?

Why Not LLI?
I am responsible. These three words are three very
important words. It can not be overemphasized. These three
words give us the power to decide to change our now, our
outcome. Until we accept that fact we will be destined to
live by someone else's ideals, someone else's limitations.

I have had a fair bit to do with personal development since
leaving the military, on top of what is taught there. I am
not naive enough to think that riches will come without
taking Massive Action. Wow, there is a concept. I can
already hear many of you out there moaning. Note I did not
say hard work, I said Massive Action. There is an inherent
difference. One produces a broken body and frustration; the
other produces real tangible results and a foundation to
build a massive empire on.

Henry Ford was into his fifties before he 'made' it. He had
tried and failed many times before he succeeded. He went
broke more than once. However he still took Massive Action
and ultimately became one of the richest men in America of
his time. Many Entrepreneurs will make and loose a fortune
in a lifetime, that's what makes us different. We know that
as long as we keep getting up, and taking the lessons we
have learnt we will have a positive outcome. It is also
what puts us in the 5% of all income earners in the world.
Note, 95% of the world's wealth is held by 5% of the
world's population.

Now let me get back to my original point. The reason I am
writing this article is due to the research that I have
done regarding LLI. I am gob smacked at the amount of
people out there, people who have apparently been students
of personal development, who think that the fact that they
have not experienced huge success and made money fall from
the sky, is somehow someone else's fault. Or, that the way
in which to promote their own business is by slamming
someone else's.

"Success comes where opportunity meets determination" This
is true of any situation.

Are you in tune enough with the vibration of success to
recognise an opportunity when it arises? Do you have the
determination to succeed? If you can answer yes to both of
these questions, then you are well equipped to have
anything it is that you truly desire in life. Don't let
anyone tell you otherwise. Success comes from getting up at
least one more time than you have been knocked down.

Tho bottom line is this, if you are actively looking for
bad news you are sure to find it. Only confirming in your
own mind that you were right. Well done. If you are
prepared to live by someone else's experiences you are
living by someone else's limitations. Therefore you are
bound to have their results. Remember this also, average
thinking produces average results.

When you take responsibility, and only when you take
responsibility you will almost instantaneously experience
better results. Blaming someone else for your now will
ultimately keep you locked in your now, where ever, or what
ever that may be.

Take control of your life, make the world a better place,
take responsibility for you own results and experience the
difference.

Top Income Earner - Becoming Rich the Smart Way

Top Income Earner - Becoming Rich the Smart Way
Becoming a top income earner may sound very pleasant and
good but if we have to go in-depth of some of the top
income earners of the world or that matter in a country, we
will find out that they invested a lot of hard work,
sincerity, and of course a positive mindset. Different
techniques and methods are employed these days to become
top income earners thereby gaining a financial security and
stability. One of the most popular methods to become top
income earners is by becoming an affiliate to some one's
website. However, if you want to be at the top of other
affiliated members, you need to have the creative and
innovative mind. You need to devise new ideas for a website
to generate large traffics, because more the users visit
the website the larger is the chance of earning money and
thereby you can become in the list of top income earners.

Different tools and methods you can employ as an affiliate
to earn heaps of money. The promotional marketing article
is one kind of method that an affiliate generally employs
in an online marketing business to attract traffic to their
sites as a result increasing revenues for the website which
in turns makes you a top income earner. One promotional
article may not result in attracting any traffic of
significant interest or may not be re-posting in any other
websites while other articles can result in an article that
gets re-posted in different websites that is read by
millions of users thereby increasing the income of the site
as well as making you a top income earner.

Another method of becoming a top income earner online is
the Adsense pay per click program. There are various
creative and innovative activities that you can do to
ensure to achieve maximum possible number of clicks at your
Adsense blog. The more the number of clicks on your ads
will result in making you a top income earner. Many Adsense
affiliates make best possible efforts to get the most
valuable Adsense keywords to use in their blog content,
keeping in view of generating maximum number of clicks.
Generally, the Adsense affiliates incorporate and provide
valuable and relevant information in the blog and at the
same time post queries without answering them which results
in for people to visit those sites to get the answers and
information as a result more and more clicks are being done
increasing the revenues and making you a top income earner
online without much hassles and complexities.

ITV Ventures Review - Home Business or Glamorized Phone Work?

ITV Ventures Review - Home Business or Glamorized Phone Work?
If you have been perusing the web for an online home
business, you may have heard of ITV Ventures. It may sound
like a great opportunity, but you might want to read an ITV
Ventures Review first before deciding if that is true.

The program was founded and presided over by Donald
Barrett. ITV Ventures is a sister company of ITV, which is
an already successful debt-free multimedia producer of
infomercials. ITV Ventures is basically the home based
version of ITV. The company encourages popular celebrities
to promote health and nutrition products, typically using
different media outlets. There are about 200 health product
lines, so there is definitely money to be made in this
business.

If you have seen the ITV Ventures infomercials, you might
have noticed that the company uses the basic network
marketing idea, but combines both the internet and
television in their marketing efforts. Clearly, they are
able to reach more people this way, as older people tend to
watch infomercials, while the majority of younger people
are online for much of their day. They are gaining quite an
audience in this way.

You can join this program for anywhere from $165 to $499.
This price comes complete with your own website through
which to market the products. You also have the ability to
make residual income, which is money without doing anything
at the time. You just set up your system, and people can
join the program while you sleep. You can make residual
income if someone decides to join and work on your team.
The company also counts viewers who call during the
infomercial.

However, there are some drawbacks to this program. For
example, the company's claim that even leaders from other
network marketing companies are abandoning their programs
and joining ITV Ventures appears suspicious. It seems like
a desperate cry to get people to join the business because
everyone else is doing it. It may or may not be true. Also,
Donald Barrett claims that if you cannot make it in this
business, you cannot make it in any business. Again, this
is not a fact; if you simply do not like the business and
are not passionate about it, you will probably not succeed.
In that case, you could always try another program, as this
is not the only one.

Overall, if you like health-related products and would like
to make money from this passion, this program may be good
for you. Reading at least one more ITV Ventures Review like
this one should help you decide if the good aspects
outweigh the bad ones.

A New Way to Network Online For Your Business!

A New Way to Network Online For Your Business!
To have a successful marketing network online strategy for
your business, it always pays you dividends to be listed
with a few online networking hubs, the closer they match
the niche / industry your in the better.

And while matching the industry niche of the network to
your business is critical offline, there aren't too many
online marketing networks that offer specific industry
programs that adapt any niche market you might be in, and
mould them all into one.

However, they do exist and it might take a little bit of
research online to find them by using search terms in the
search engines like: "X article hubs" where "X" is your
industry or niche.

These styles of network hubs are something that has been
needed for a long time, and the benefits behind using
online niche hubs in this way is that not only do you get
many opportunities to joint venture with other non-local
businesses (due to them spanning the globe), some
networking hubs even remunerate you for telling others
about, as they encourage the referral process in business.

So you can be telling your circle of influence about a new
referral business network you become part of and recommend
the program to others by word of mouth, and when they join
you'll be reimbursed your monthly subscription.

Some of the networking hubs you can become part of have
very nice remuneration if you're an affiliate marketer
looking to make a full time income online. Over time if you
refer a lot of people to these particular online networks
you can make a full time income as an affiliate, and also
generate a lot of cross-referral business and joint venture
partnerships.

I believe that this form of networking is a powerful
pathway for all business owners and entrepreneurs to expand
their business and add additional layers of profit to their
core practice.

I encourage you to research more into online networking and
grow your informal network of business colleagues,
customers, and suppliers so you can co-create more
profitable and unique ways to do business online.

Here's a number of things you should look for when
researching such business networking hubs:

1. You gain access to a free 7-steps course that has
literally "Tonnes" of free information, steps, video's and
books on how to attract more clients to you. It should all
be complimentary information that "benefits" you up front
(even if you decide to do nothing with that particular
online network).

2. Access to some form of online presence. A good online
business networking hub, will offer keyword focussed and
optimized web presence as part of their service to you.
This might mean you'll have a multiple web presence
(because you have a website already, however having
multiple presences online is becoming more "crucial" to
online success these days). Many of the top internet
marketers don't have just one, they have "100's" of sites,
some making good income and others not so much.

3. The opportunity to connect with others online is
fantastic, but if you can't push out what it is you do in
their networking and resources area, you're most likely
going to go unseen. Therefore, multiple opportunities to
Joint Venture, and distribute your business activities is a
must have and not many of the free business hubs have this
functionality, I haven't even seen it in too many paid
networking hubs, but it's definitely something you need to
be alert to look for.

4. Should you wish to become an affiliate of a particular
online networking portal, they should offer a good
affiliate program that offers re-curring monthly payments
that grow as you help them grow, this is the fairest way to
create an income in alignment to effort from each affiliate.

5. They should have very good cross promotion features so
you'll reach thousands of members over time, who'll want to
work you and your business partners.

I encourage you all, to become part of, and learn about
online attraction marketing processes and online business
networking. It will return you new business many times over
if you do it thoroughly and correctly.

Mastering Search Engines To Work For You

Mastering Search Engines To Work For You
In the online business environment knowing about and
understanding search engines is important. Search engines
can make or break a business. A home business owner has to
be current on the trends and the ways that's search engines
work in order to stay on top of their business and keep
customers coming to their website.

Search engines are the tools that get people to websites.
They basically rule the internet. Without search engines
there would be no organization and no paths to anywhere.
The internet would be a mess. However, search engines have
faced challenges and they have had to come up with ways to
provide people with good information. This has led to some
strictness from the search engines and rules that business
owners need to know.

In the past search engines ranked websites through keyword
use. It was not long, though, before website owners found
ways to misuse that. People who would do searches were
ending up with junk websites at the top of their search
results and it was difficult to actual find anything
useful. The search engines acted fast, though, and soon it
become a combination of factors that the search engines now
use to rank websites.

Here are the three top things used by search engines to
rank websites:

Keywords: Keywords are still important. It is impossible
to get rid of them because keywords are how searches are
done and they have to be a part of the search engine
rankings for organizational purposes. However, they are
not given as much weight as they once were and only make up
a small part of how a website is ranked.

Content: Now the big factor in search engine ranking is
content. Content works well as a factor for ranking
websites because it is hard to use junk and it is something
that takes time to install onto a website. The criteria
for content is that it must be useful, relevant and unique.
People can not simply copy content from elsewhere around
the web and assume that will work. The search engines are
pretty smart about content and that is why it carries the
majority of the weight when it comes to search engine
ranking.

Links: Using links to and from a website that is ranked
high on a search engine will make that website higher
ranked as well. Search engines consider this because it is
a popularity factor. It lets the search engines see who
other website owners are happy with being associated with.
It is a good idea of what sites are quality and which ones
may not be quite so good.

These three factors come together to make search engines
more efficient and effective. People still rely a lot on
search engines and now can trust in them to give them
quality results. What all this means for the home business
owner is that by utilizing this information to build a
business website will help the business owner to get their
website to the top of the search engine rankings.

Ecommerce Sites: Beware of 3rd Party Cookies - Are Google Analytics Users In Privacy Breach?

Ecommerce Sites: Beware of 3rd Party Cookies - Are Google Analytics Users In Privacy Breach?
To be successful, ecommerce sites require information about
site visitors.

What sites are the top referrers? Which search engine
produces the most traffic? How long do visitors remain
on-site, what is their pathway through the site, and what
pages do they exit from?

One method of collecting this information is often referred
to as using 3rd party cookies. If you use 3rd party
cookies, are you aware of the privacy concerns, and will
you be liable for a privacy policy breach?

What's A "Cookie" Anyway?

A cookie is a message given to a Web browser by a Web
server. The browser stores the message in a text file
called cookie.txt. The message is then sent back to the
server each time the browser requests a page from the
server.

Information gained with cookies helps the Web server track
such things as user preferences and data that the user may
submit while browsing the site. For example, a cookie may
include information about the purchases that the user makes
(if the Web site is an ecommerce site), or the cookie may
"remember" the user's contact information so the user will
not have to re-key it on future site visits.

1st Party and 3rd Party Cookies Distinguished

There is an important difference between 1st party and 3rd
party cookies. If you use 1st party cookies, they are
passed to a visitor by your site, and the data generated
remains with your site. On the other hand, if you hire an
independent company (such as Google with its Google
Analytics program) to pass the cookie, that cookie is
called a 3rd party cookie.

Privacy Concerns With 3rd Party Cookies

Privacy concerns arise from the fact that the data
generated with 3rd party cookies resides on the servers of
the 3rd party --- not your server. The fact that you do not
control these 3rd party sites and their use of this data
has raised concerns among many users. For example, users
have questioned whether these 3rd party sites aggregate the
data among many sites and report ecommerce trends to the
media, or whether the 3rd party sites use the data for
purposes of cross-website profiling and ad targeting.

And what is your legal obligation to disclose the use of
3rd party cookies? In the European Union, it's illegal to
pass cookies without informing users that you do, what
they're used for, and how they can be avoided, and it's
generally believed that the failure to adequately disclose
the details of the use of 3rd party cookies is a violation
of EU law.

In the US, there is an evolving debate regarding the same
issues, and the answers are less certain.

Conclusion

It's recommended that if you use 3rd party cookies, you
clearly disclose in your privacy policy the distinction
between 3rd and 1st party cookies, and how they're used and
avoided.

Be careful, however, in amending your Privacy Policy
because amendments may not be effective retroactively for
data collected with 3rd party cookies prior to the
amendment.

Does your Expired Domain Name Signify and Possess Branding Ability?

Does your Expired Domain Name Signify and Possess Branding Ability?
Buying expired domains is becoming a big craze among domain
traders. Buying expired domains or domains expiring is a
continuous activity that needs your dedication and
persistence. Domain traders always buy new expired domains
by searching through an exhaustive keyword directory.
Searching for keywords helps you find out those niche
keywords with very important commercial applications. An
expired or domains soon expiring could contain a
commercially important and niche keyword contained in its
domain name. Most of these expired domain names could also
possess and portray a distinctive branding ability.

Creating a special brand for your business always involves
spending a huge amount of money in active advertising and
promotion. Further, advertizing a web portal to build a
special brand around it is a time consuming task that
demands hours of dedicated work. If you do not have these
resources with you, you can always try and buy expired
domain names that are capable of providing a corporate
brand to the business. You can always create brand
awareness, by choosing and buying an expired domain name
that really carries and conveys the issue of what is the
web portal all about and what it gives to its visitors.

Buying an expired domain name with in-built ability to
provide branding ability involves a lot of research and
development work. You may buy a name that has a perceived
ability to give a distinctive brand to your web portal.
But, you still have to toil for hours to build the
purchased expired domain to convert it into a special
niche. Here are some practical examples:

Let us say that you have found a series of niche keywords
on parenting keyword. Now, if you want to buy some expired
domain names based on this special keyword, you will need
to ensure that the chosen keyword can convey a distinctive
and special corporate branding ability. The selected
expired domain name should not only have a good searching
placement in many major search engines, it should also be
memorable and easily recalled. To establish branding with
the selected expired domain name, you may consider the
following salient points:

a) Choosing a keyword that relates to everyday
experience and feelings could be an intelligent thing. For
example, BabyFeeding or BabyHealth can instantly create a
good rapport between a mother and her child.
b) Choosing a keyword like MasterDegree will appeal
to all those studious people, who wish to pursue their
master degrees. Here, the selected keyword connects the
inbuilt feelings of people with that of the expired domain
name.
c) A keyword that is easily searchable is better
than the one that is almost impossible to remember and
search. For example, a keyword like MyFavoriteSoup is quite
inferior to MySoup.

Establishing a brand and a corporate identity over your
chosen expired domain is very difficult and time consuming.
However, with careful planning and by applying your
intelligence mind, you can buy an expired domain that will
allow you to create a special brand and niche web portal.

Creating Successful Online Income Opportunities Requires Focus and Persistence

Creating Successful Online Income Opportunities Requires Focus and Persistence
It is critical to stay focused with your online income
opportunity. Rather than jumping from online program to
another, you will need to spend time productively working
on marketing strategies that will continue to build your
online home based business.

To limit your chance of getting distracted by emails,
unsubscribe to all the other programs and newsletters that
are no longer of interest to you. Also try utilizing
long-term, medium-term, daily and urgent to-do lists to
help keep yourself organized and focused.

Remember that it takes time to build an online home based
income opportunity business. So, if you constantly change
programs, you will be starting from square one every time.
You must be determined, persistent and persevere because it
will come together if you consistently apply these
disciplines to your online home based business.

You should not search around for other programs because
some months are quieter than others on the internet. That is
the time to buckle down and really work harder than before
in preparation for the busy season ahead.

Take this time to prepare for the upswing in business. You
can do this by writing and submitting more articles with a
link back to your site in the author's resource box, adding
more pages to your website optimized for different
keywords, submitting your site to web directories,
exchanging links with quality websites, posting on forums
and regularly posting on your blog. In other words continue
building momentum and growing your online home business.

You are going to slow down or even stall the momentum to
your website if you back off with your internet marketing
strategies during the slow times. And also, you are not
going to benefit from the increased number of online income
opportunity seekers in the form of receiving more sign-ups
and sales when the busy season starts.

It is vital to keep momentum going because should it stall
it takes time to get it going again and you could then find
that you have missed out on the opportunity to attract the
many online home business searchers during the busy months.

It is disheartening and it is tempting to start looking for
something else hhen days go by with no sign-ups or sales.
That is when you need to persevere and show how patient,
persistent and determined you are to succeed with your
online home based business.

Try to spend some of your time perhaps enhancing your
website, make a few tweaks here and there, change the font,
add a FAQ page, add testimonials, add your photograph,
promote special offers, offer some freebies, anything that
will make your site more attractive and interesting to your
visitors.

Competition is fierce on the internet and all the more
reason you need to make your online home based business
stand out in the crowd and to continually work at improving
or maintaining your position in the search engine results.

You will be rewarded handsomely if you remain totally
focused on your online income opportunity through the good
times and the bad times and consistently concentrate on
building momentum to your website so you will be able to
generate a residual income.

SMC, Specialty Merchandise Corporation

SMC, Specialty Merchandise Corporation
SMC, Specialty Merchandise Corporation, has been in
business for years.

Basically what SMC does is allow you to sell their
products. The idea is that you will buy them at a low price
and then sell them high.

This is great in theory. But after talking to a large
number of people that work from home, with SMC, I have yet
to find a single person who can support him or herself from
their SMC income.

SMC has run ads in small business magazines for several
years. They have also produced a large number of
infomercials.

SMC's success with their infomercials is largely due to the
fact that they did choose the right person to be spokesman
for the company.

Tom Bosley, the dad from "Happy Days".

Tom is the ultimate spokesman because he just looks like
someone you trust. After all, he played an all American,
no nonsense, and strict dad on television so it just makes
sense that America trusts him.

SMC mostly specializes in giftware, jewelry, collectables
and general merchandise. They offer a lot of neat things
and knickknacks for women to accessorize and display around
the house.

The number one reason that I am bothered by about this kind
of business is the degree of competition. The second
problem with this type of business is the low margins. once
again you will most likely be sell ing them at cos because
of so many people selling the same product.

Yes SMC has signed up thousands of SMC vendors over the
years and the popularity of the program has created a large
number of copycat companies. They also have become part of
your competition, not just the huge number of people who
have bought into SMC.

With large competition and a low profit margin I don't
think you are actually going to get rich with the SMC
system.

The websites that SMC supplies you are nice, but the
problem is they look like the same cookie cutter has cut
them all out. Search engines strongly dislike duplicate
websites and very often don't give them much page ranking.
If you could build your own unique SMC website, you'd
probably make out a lot better. However, SMC will not allow
their vendors to build their own custom websites.

IMO, SMC is a very solid company that will be around for a
longtime, but I really don't think it's an easy way to make
a lot of money.

How to Pick an SEO Firm

How to Pick an SEO Firm
SEO is the foundation of your marketing campaign - at least
it should be. Aside from any other marketing that you
participate in, you should also make sure your site is
ranked in the top of the engines so you can tap into the
millions (actually over 400 million) searches performed
daily.

So, how do you pick an SEO Firm? It is a very important
decision.

I was talking to a man recently who told me the problem was
he didn't even know what questions to ask, let alone how to
evaluate the answers.

Here is some guidance on what to ask and what to expect in
response.

Do you have any initial or set up fees? How much and what
are they for? Are there ongoing fees and how much are they?

They should be able to outline all fees and tell you
exactly what is included. Different firms price things
differently. If they require full payment up front, that
may concern me. Most firms will require some payment up
front, and that is to be expected. You need to look at
what they are proposing, make sure it is clear to you and
make sure you are OK with it.

Is monthly maintenance necessary?

Any SEO Firm that knows what they are talking about should
tell you that maintenance and monitoring of rankings is
required to ensure you don't start losing rankings. If they
tell you that you will lose rankings as soon as you leave
them, they are lying—or more accurately they are just
guessing. They don't really know for sure. However
experience shows us that rankings do tend to maintain until
the next major algorithm shift and then if no one is
maintaining them for you, they may begin to drop. SEO is
not the kind of thing you do once and then you are done.
To maintain and hopefully even increase your rankings, you
need to have someone continually working on your behalf.
Alternatively, you could learn to handle some of the
maintenance items yourself. But the key is to realize that
someone needs to monitor your rankings and work on your in
order to hold on to your top rankings and grow them. Don't
forget the engines themselves reported that approximately
25% of searches each month are never before seen phrases.
So, at the very least you'll want to monitor what new
phrases are popping up and make sure you are getting
exposure for them.

How long is my term of service?

Typically you should hear anywhere from 3—12 months.
Anything less than 3 months isn't long enough to see any
matured results. Six months seems to be the industry
standard middle ground. With six months you aren't locked
in too long, but it does allow time for the campaign to
mature.

Do you offer a Guarantee?

Contrary to popular belief, guarantees aren't all bad. You
just have to make sure you aren't being promised something
that no one can actually deliver.

- Top rankings in less than 30 days? Not likely.

- Guaranteed amount of site visitors or conversions? With
regular SEO and no other services no SEO Firm can guarantee
the precise number of visitors or the conversion rates.

- If you are told you will get rankings on a precise
keyword within a precise amount of time, that just isn't
possible unless they are doing PPC or have magic fairy dust.

The kind of guarantee that is safe is the kind where the
company states they don't control the engines and can't
predict exact timeframes but they will not stop working
until they have delivered what they promised (ex: 20
rankings within the top 20 for 6 months—so they may
have to work 8 or 9 months of real time to deliver the full
6 months of "guaranteed" time.) This offers you protection
but it also honest and lets you know that the Firm does not
control the engines.

Do I own the work you do for me? Where does it reside?

The answers should be: yes you own the work (once it is
paid for in full) and it resides on your server. If they
are hosting content on another server or another domain,
you want to think twice before getting involved.

Do you provide regular reports and how often are they
provided?

You should be provided reports once a month to show the
results and your site's rankings.

When will I start seeing results?

That is a question that varies from site to site. Your
site's history and competitiveness of the industry are big
factors and the SEO firm should try to answer honestly
considering what they know about your site. Any blanket
statement is just a guess. They could also tell you their
average time for other clients and that is a good indicator
of what you could expect.

What engines do you submit to?

This could change as things in the industry change.
Basically you'll want to look at the list of engines they
give you and make sure you have heard of them all. Most
Firms focus on the Big 3 (Google, Yahoo! and MSN) and then
about 6 or so other engines.

What about past results?

Do you provide references and testimonials? The answer
should be YES! They should be happy to show off past
results.

What techniques do you use to optimize my site?

An ethical SEO Firm will focus on content and on-page
optimization as the foundation. They should also look at
whether you are in need of links and may include linking as
part of their strategy. More people tend to get links on
their own, but they don't focus on the on-page portion, so
maybe all you need is the on-page work. The SEO Firm
should evaluate that and let you know what your specific
needs are.

They shouldn't hide any text or code on your site, and they
should be willing to explain every step of their process
and not want to hide any information from you.

If they tell you they have a special relationship with
Google, or proprietary techniques that should be a warning
sign to you.

Do I have access to anyone on your staff, so I receive
personalized service and can ask questions at anytime?

The answer should be yes. SEO can be confusing and you need
a Firm that will work FOR you and WITH you.

Any SEO Firm that is worth working with should be happy to
spend time going over each of these questions with you.
Selecting an SEO Firm can feel intimidating but if you use
these questions as a guide and follow your instincts, you
should be fine.

Home Based Business Opportunities

Home Based Business Opportunities
When searching through the many different home based
business opportunities available on the internet today it
is very easy to get overwhelmed. Relax, take a deep
breath, and make sure you find something that will fit your
style. Find something that is easy for you to write about
and promote, it will make it much easier to make money
online.

Finding a home based business opportunity that fits your
interests is easy. What are your hobbies? Think about
some of the things you like to do that others will respect
your opinnon on. If you can write about the subject
easily, and people will respect your view point, they
probably won't hesitate paying for the products, services,
or information you have to offer.

One thing to keep in mind when first starting your home
based business is how much time and work you will be
required to put into it. You are going to have to treat
your home based business opportunitiy exactly like what it
is, a business. This requires you to setup a budget,
working long hours, and making sacrifices to make your home
based business succeed.

Once you have made the commitment to succeed and found a
home based business opportunity that fits your interests,
it's all about promotion and getting your back links to
your website. The more back links you have, the more
chance your website gets found, the more money you will
make. It's a simple formula that works in any business
even online businesses. More traffic = more money. Of
course there are many other things that fall in between
like working on conversion rates, customer support,
technical support, and advertising. But all in all, you
overall goal should be getting people to come to your
website.

Home based business opportunities come in all shapes and
sizes. The internet has certainly made it possible for
anyone to start up their own home based business and people
are doing so in record numbers. Don't let the amount of
competition deter you from making an effort.

The odds are against you however. Only 3% of all home
based businesses succeed. That number is a little skewed
because a very good amount of people making an attempt to
succeed think they can do it with little or no effort. You
will not make money fast and easily. If you want to make
money fast and easy, go buy a lottery ticket. Without the
action it takes to succeed with a home based business, your
chances are about the same as hitting the Powerball.

People are making a living using home based business
opportunities. Find one that fits you then make the
commitment and dedication to succeed.

Organic Search Engine Marketing - It Really Works!

Organic Search Engine Marketing - It Really Works!
While helping traditional ecommerce companies increase
their organic search engine marketing, I realized that the
services and techniques we apply to those traditional
ecommerce clients can be utilized by Internet marketers
anywhere and everywhere, including affiliate marketers!

My realization led me to write this article. My goal here
is to outline the general process and techniques we employ
for organic search engine marketing.

I'm going to construct the body of this article with the
following sections:

1. Organic search engine marketing v. paid search engine
marketing (PPC) 2. Blogs v. static web pages 3. Long tail
keywords v. short head keywords 4. Unique content and Web
3.0 5. Internet marketing and Web 2.0

1. Organic Search Engine Marketing v. Paid Search Engine
Marketing (PPC)

Organic search engine marketing is marketing a website to
increase the ranking for its web pages in the organic, or
natural, search engine results pages (SERPs).

Paid search engine marketing is incorporating paid
advertising strategies such as Google® Adwords or
Yahoo® Search Marketing in order to be listed in the
"sponsored" or "advertisement" sections of the search
engine results pages (SERPs).

With the increasing costs of paid search engine marketing,
advertisers have been suffering from a downward trend in
return on investment (ROI). On the other hand, with more
sophisticated and proven strategies for organic search
engine marketing, the return on investment (ROI) for those
who market to rank higher naturally in the SERPs is
increasing. Therefore, we advise ecommerce companies,
affiliates and super-affiliates alike to shift their
resources from paid search engine marketing to organic
search engine marketing.

2. Blogs v. Static Web Pages

Blogs have an inherent and distinct advantage over static
web pages. Search engines like blogs better. Everything
being equal (design, content, page layout, H tags, Alt
tags, age, etc.), a blog page will outrank a static web
page more often than not. However, all things are not
equal! Blogs take advantage of plug-ins, or features, to
be very search engine friendly.

We create and customize "Power Blogs" for our clients. A
"Power Blog" is a search engine friendly WordPress blogs
with tons of SEO plug-ins. Once we install a Power Blog we
use it as a platform for Web 2.0 marketing, a.k.a. social
marketing.

The benefits of our Power Blog include:

(A) Multi-Channel Visitor Strategy - Instead of having
Google® be responsible for 95% of your visitors, now
you can also get visitors from all of the Blog Search
Engines. Because blogs use RSS (really simple syndication),
you will find that other websites are syndicating your
content on their websites, bringing you more visitors and
links. By having multiple streams of visitors you protect
yourself in case one of your traffic streams starts to
underperform.

(B) Free Links To Your Site - The amount of links that you
have to your site plays a huge role in how highly you rank
on Google®. By utilizing the Trackback feature in
Wordpress, you can automatically get other websites to link
to you for free.

3. Long Tail Keywords v. Short Head Keywords

Remember, this is called "Organic Search Engine
Marketing".....it's marketing, and marketing needs a focus.
In order to focus in on what to market for, you need to
have a solid foundation of the main keywords that describe
your business and/or products that you are selling. These
main keywords are one to three phrase keywords (or keyword
phrases) generally speaking and are more than likely highly
competitive. These types of keywords are known as "Short
Head" keywords. For example, "car insurance."

Once you know your short head keywords, you will want to
market directly to more specific, longer keywords related
to the main short head keywords. These longer, more
specific keywords are known as "Long Tail" keywords. For
example, "car insurance discounts in Georgia."

Although the traffic for each long tail keyword is usually
much less than its short tail relative, if you add up all
the long tail keywords, they will usually add up to much
more traffic and most importantly, targeted traffic, than
the short tail keywords alone.

4. Unique Content and Web 3.0

Once you have targeted the long tail keywords for your
business or niche, then you can start marketing for them.

The cornerstone for organic search engine marketing is
unique content creation. Whether it's 500-word articles,
blog posts, blog comments, forum posts, social snippets, or
videos, you are going to want to be able to create unique
content based on your long tail keywords.

Web 3.0 is a term that refers to the future of the World
Wide Web. In our opinion, that future includes the
"Semantic Web" or web use affected by artificial
intelligence. Sounds kind of like Star Wars®, Alien
and E.T. all wrapped into one big and scary WWW...doesn't
it?! Well, not really of course. Semantic Web in this
case just means that search engines will be able to figure
out what a web page is all about in a different, more
intelligent way. The major idea here is that search
engines will take a more encompassing view at a page and
understand its meaning rather making a determination based
on figuring out which keywords pop up most often. In this
new Web 3.0 scenario, a search engine might find a web page
on "sun tanning in Florida" to also be quite relevant to
"sun tan oil application" and therefore list this example
page in the search engine results pages under both keywords.

What does Web 3.0 mean to you? Basically, when creating
your unique content, keep the semantic web concept in mind
and use synonyms for your target keyword wherever it's
natural. Never stuff keywords in your content, i.e. use a
keyword just to use it and not when it should be used
naturally...and never stuff keyword synonyms either!

5. Internet Marketing and Web 2.0

Web 2.0 is the "Social Web," so naturally, the concept of
social marketing should apply to today's Internet Marketing
strategies.

Social marketing includes posting on social networking,
social news and social bookmarking websites.

You can also think of blogging as part of Web 2.0, and of
course you're covered because you have read Section 2 above.

In conclusion, whether you own your own ecommerce business
and sell your own products, or if you are an affiliate or
super-affiliate, organic search engine marketing must be on
your "actions list." In the long run, outranking your
competitors in the search engine results pages proves to
bring a higher return on investment (ROI) than trying to
out-advertise your competitors in paid search engine
marketing.

You now have the basic know-how to create your organic
search engine marketing strategy.

What To Do If You Do Not Know How To Earn Money Online

What To Do If You Do Not Know How To Earn Money Online
One of the obstacles that people face when they first start
out with their Internet marketing business is how do they
earn money. It's almost like starting in kindergarten when
you first went to school. In this article we are going to
talk about a few things that you can do if you do not know
how to earn money online.

1. The most important thing you can do is determine what
niche you're going to be in. There are so many different
ways to earn money oney on the Internet, but it all comes
down to having a product that solves people's problems.

I shouldn't say it all comes down to that, because there
are people who buy things for fun that they don't need all
the time on the Internet, nut you will find that those can
be a very competitive niche to be in.

Your best chance to earn money online is to find a narrow
niche that isn't too competitive, and that you have an
interest in. Then learn how to turn that into an Internet
business.

2. Once you determine what niche you want to be in you are
going to need to find products to sell. You can either
create products yourself, or you can go and sell some of
the else's product.

As an affiliate marketer you'll be given products to sell
by merchants looking for people to sell them. You can also
find products to sell online with private label rights or
resell rights.

Regardless of how you do it you will need products to sell
to make money and the Internet. So it's going to be
important that you find quality products and possibly even
buy or use those yourself.

3. At this point, you can do one of two things. If you can
afford it, you can outsource all the details of setting
your online business up.

This could include building you a website or starting a
blog for you. It could include hiring an article writer to
create content for your website or blog. It could also
include hiring someone to manage an advertising campaign
for you.

If you choose not to outsource things then you are going to
have to develop the skills it takes to make money online
running your own business. The most important skill you can
learn is traffic generation.

Even if you hirer out someone to build the most beautiful
website in the world, if you never get anyone to your site,
you'll never make any sales and earn any money.

In summary, outsourcing and learning skills are really the
only way to make money online. What you lack in time, you
can make up for by investing money to have someone do for
you. What you lack in money you will have to make up by
investing your time.

Web Cam plus Ideas equal Profits!

Web Cam plus Ideas equal Profits!
The latest craze are videos. You know it and I know it.
Youtube is the biggest video sharing site on the web and
guess what, the smart people are using it to make serious
money on the web!

With a simple video camera or web cam you have the
opportunity to reach out to millions of people. By playing
your cards right, you can win the interest of your viewers
as well as make huge money with affiliate programs!

Do you know what affiliate programs are? An affiliate
program is a simple system where YOU, the affiliate,
promote other people's products online by signing up to
their affiliate program and in return you can make
commissions for each sale you refer through your referral
link.

The coolest thing about using video and affiliate programs
are that you basically don't incur any cost!

If you are creating videos that has to do with dog
training, then you can easily sign up to a free dog
training affiliate program and show the link in your video
or even put it on your video's profile.

But affiliate links are usually very long, so you'll need
to shorten it by purchasing your own domain name.

It will cost you a measly $9 in total. Go to a website
called GoDaddy and then purchase your domain there. Then
set up DOMAIN MASKING also called URL MASKING and set it so
that it redirects your domain to your affiliate link. That
means that if somebody loads your domain in their browser,
it redirects them to the affiliate link.

If you don't have a clue what this is or how to do this,
just contact GoDaddy support and they'll assist you very
quickly.

So what types of products should you promote via video?

First of all, you get 2 types of products:

1. Digital products

2. Physical products

When you are promoting an affiliate product using videos,
promote a PHYSICAL product. You should showcase the product
in your videos.

The problem is, most people don't have the money to
actually purchase the product. There is a solution to this
problem.

Ask your affiliate manager or the merchant if they can send
you a sample of the product for free or even the product
itself.

Tell them that you want to create a fully blown video
series on the product and that the product will be featured
on several videos. For instance, if you are promoting a
certain dog training DVD course, you can show people videos
of a disobedient dog and then show them the DVD course in
the video afterwards. It's very powerful and it works! They
will definitely type your domain into the browser and then
boom, they'll go through your hidden referral link!

But what about digital products then?

The only digital products I recommend you promote are
services which people can sign up for free and you get
paid. Like the social site Yuwee and other CPA affiliate
offers. Just Google "CPA Affiliate Program" and sign up to
a few.

Just remember that whatever product you are promoting on
your video, it HAS to be relevant to what your video is
about!

And my BIGGEST piece of advice is to create a full series
of videos on the same topic. If your videos are about
disobedient dogs, then keep them all on that topic! This
will allow you to give multiple exposure to your affiliate
product.

So to conclude, video and affiliate programs are the way to
go for 2008. If you want to make extra money working from
home, then this is it!

How to Make Java Script Search Engine Friendly

How to Make Java Script Search Engine Friendly
Think of the search engines like a child with a short
attention span. If they have to crawl through tons of
messy code before they get to the body content on your
page, there is a chance they will "lose interest" and not
continue spidering the page.

Since you want the engines to be able to spider all of your
content pages, you should minimize the amount of extraneous
code that is on your page. You worked hard to create your
content and get your site optimized, so the last thing you
want to do is take a chance that the engines won't want to
spider your pages.

One way to clean up the code is to take java script that is
on-page and put it in an external .js file.

Java script on your page usually takes up anywhere from 3 -
8+ lines of code. That is all just creates extra code that
the spiders have to crawl through before they get to your
body text. You are better off calling your java script in
from a .js file. This takes what used to be many lines of
code on your page and reduces it to one line where you just
call the script in.

To create an External JavaScript file:

Copy your script and paste it into Notepad.

Remove the beginning and end script commands. They are:

< script language="JavaScript"> and < /script>

Next, do a SAVE AS command and save the file as "text only"
with an extension of .js

Example: java.js

Upload the file to a folder on your server that you name
Java. (Or whatever name you wish.)

To call your Java file into your web page, enter into the
same place where the script originally was:

< script src="Java/java.js"> < /script >

Lastly, if you wish to hide the text from JavaScript
impaired browsers to avoid error codes, surround the
JavaScript with <!-- and --> in your java.js file.

This will make for cleaner code, and the functionality will
still be the same.

You could also move your script to the bottom of the page -
but remember if the page doesn't fully load then your
script may not load, so it could impact the functionality
of your page.

Whatever solution you choose to implement - make sure you
test it to ensure it works. Once the engines pick up your
pages and the traffic to your site increases, you want to
be sure the site is fully functional and in tip top shape.

Tips for a Successful Online Work From Home Business

Tips for a Successful Online Work From Home Business
Home based business opportunities can offer you a
fulfilling sense of self-satisfaction that you can't get
anywhere else - just ask any entrepreneur. Home businesses
can take up your whole time, leaving you no room for a day
job, or it can be part-time to augment your income. No
matter how much time you devote to your business, it is
undeniable that it is invaluable in providing you with more
money to buy what you want. However, a word of caution: it
takes a good deal of patience and determination to develop
your business and make it a success. Since there's nobody
but you as the boss, you would have to solve these problems
all on your own.

A business plan is essential, not only for big businesses
but also for budding ones as well. Even if you're only
doing business during your free time, you should consider
it as an actual business too. Take some time to write down
a comprehensive outline of your plan. Fill out each detail,
from operations, to target market, to your vision of the
business in the long run. Through this, you will be able to
track your progress and you can have a clear view of where
your business is going.

Budding entrepreneurs are well advised to find themselves a
mentor, especially if they're encountering a lot of
unforeseen problems. You need to find someone with a lot of
experience already, someone who has already experienced
what you experienced and found ways to solve it. You can
always forge a path of your own, but it can be considerably
more difficult and time-consuming, and you might lose heart
and just give up. A business plan complimented by the right
mentor will almost guarantee your success.

Not only should the physical aspects of the business be
prepared, you need to prepare yourself mentally as well. It
is very important to have determination and a desire for
success. You will have to invest a lot of effort and time
into your business, but it would all be worth it. Because
this is your own home-based business, no one will tell you
what to do, when to work, or how to work. This is why you
need an enormous amount of discipline.

Work from home business opportunities will take some time
in order for it to become a success, but these tips will
definitely get you going on your road to self-fulfillment.

Why Discovering Your Niche Can Be The Most Important Element Of Your Internet Marketing Success

Why Discovering Your Niche Can Be The Most Important Element Of Your Internet Marketing Success
You know, I always knew that I wanted to be a business man
ever since I read Victor Kiam's Going For It (for those who
didn't know Victor, he was the man who liked the Remington
shaver so much, he bought the company!). The trouble was, I
really had no idea what business to start or develop...

Mind you, that was back in the day when computers had 4mb
of RAM and the Internet was still a military secret. It was
a lot harder to get information on industries that you were
interested in and trade was a lot more restrictive as
companies depended on dealers to showcase and promote their
products and services.

There was no Internet marketing because there was no
Internet, so you either learnt a trade or got a job, picked
up as many contacts as you could and then went out on your
own trying to grab as many of your old customers as you
could.

These days, there are so many opportunities that you can
spend months researching each one and still not be sure
where to start.

So you may believe that all the marketing you see on the
Internet is new, never been done and cutting edge - take
the latest raft of programs all offering an automated,
fully duplicable business in a box which is a totally new
concept isn't it?

Uh... no!

What's franchising if it's not a business in a box, and
franchising has been around since the 1950's.

Franchising works best for the same reason that the new
online businesses in a box work, and that reason is...

They fill a need that no-one else has already claimed!

In other words, identify an area that is crying out for
help, whether that be information or the actual provision
of a product or a service, and then make it yours. This is
your niche - your specialist subject if you will.

This is important because if you don't find a niche on the
Internet, you're potentially wasting $thousands on
marketing to people who may not want your product or
service and believe me, on the Internet, every marketing
dollar counts!

For example, you could sell information on the Internet, or
even produce a product, sell it online and use the money
you would have spent on warehousing and retail to promote
your goods via the Internet.

OK, you're going to tell me that there are millions of
other people already doing that...Yes I know, but have you
seen their websites and their marketing. Because there is a
minimal amount of competition as you're in a niche market,
anything you do to make your visitor's experience better
will shoot you way ahead. That might just be a simple and
neat Contact Form that you actually reply to!

Now, it's all-well-and-good filling a need, but what if you
don't like the niche you've found? Find another - pure and
simple. What's the point of throwing in your old job that
you hated to have the hassle of building your own business
in an industry that you don't like.

Having said that, the flip side is trying to build a
business around a hobby or subject that you really enjoy
and then finding that you can't involve yourself in that
hobby anymore as you do it all day now - try to strike a
balance.

Here's a summary of how to define your niche and try to
build a successful Internet business...

1 - Identify your likes and dislikes

2 - Is there a need for anything that you enjoy (e.g. pet
grooming, cosmetics, fitness etc...)

3 - Can you make money by exploiting this need?

4 - Go for it!

Good luck in all your decisions and have fun with your home
business, which ever one you choose, and don`t forget to
enjoy your new found freedom!

How You Can Build A Solid Internet Business With Web 2.0 Marketing

How You Can Build A Solid Internet Business With Web 2.0 Marketing
Over time the internet has continuously changed and evolved
for the better. There are so many entrepreneurs that have
failed pursuing an internet marketing career for numerous
reasons. One of the biggest problems has been a lack of
traffic due to poor marketing efforts. But with web 2.0
marketing, that has all changed.

Unless you knew a lot about the internet or received
incredible training and assistance, it used to be common to
be thrown into the shark pool on the internet. You used to
have to be tech savvy just to have a minute amount of
success. But web 2.0 marketing is making it easier for even
the average person to start a business and have success.

This new strategy is making it easier for an internet
newbie to apply real marketing strategies and have a
business with prospects and customers actually coming to
it.And web 2.0, which is also known as social media, is a
fairly easy strategy to pick up.

Social media refers to users interacting with the content
on the web. This includes creating web pages, interacting
with others socially, creating blogs, writing articles, and
posting videos. All of this is the key to generating a
higher traffic volume and having success on the internet. As
mentioned above, you do not even have to be tech savvy to
pick up on this strategy.

Writing articles is a great way to generate traffic because
of the brilliant ideas and information you can disperse. It
allows you to generate new ideas and share them with the
rest of the internet. After writing your articles, submit
them to as many article directories as possible. It is
through your resource box that people will be able to find
your link and be directed to your web site.

What is even more important and beneficial than writing
articles is blogging and interacting socially with
others. It is vital you get out on the internet and interact
with people in whatever way you can. This allows you to
become known and show who you are aside from just a person
hiding behind a small business.

Blogging allows you to share your ideas with others, learn
what people are looking for, and build relationships. The
more people you network with and build a friendship with,
the more people will begin to trust you.And as soon as you
have gained the trust of your prospects, you will have them
coming to your site over your competitors.

The internet is a highly competitive market with hundreds
of thousands of web sites. In order to have success on the
internet, you have to do anything you can to separate
yourself form the competition.Web 2.0 and blogging is the
perfect opportunity for you to increase your traffic volume
and generate more sells.

A Home Based Business: What To Look For

A Home Based Business: What To Look For
There are elements to look for within a home based
business, in this article I will cover what I believe to be
the most important factors to owning a home based business.

It's important for you understand what I mean by home based
business within this article. I'm primarily speaking about
online home based business opportunities. The reason that I
chose internet home based businesses which primarily sell
download software, e-books and other digital items, is
because it requires very little effort as opposed to
selling physical products from home. Selling digital
products online doesn't require inventory, door to door
sales and earns me fast cash!

There are two schools of thought when it comes to what to
look for in an internet home based business. It really
depends on what you're looking for. My success has come
from putting profit at the top of the list. It's been said
that if you wouldn't buy the product without the
opportunity behind it then don't participate with the
business, I disagree that.

It's important to be excited about the products offered but
it is crucial that you re excited about the opportunity!
There must be some factor that excites you, whether it's
the compensation plan, the product, the promotion resources
or overall presentation of the business. Either way it's
important to be excited about as many aspects of the
business as possible. The reason why his is so important is
that you will be more successful selling a business or
product that you are excited about.

Research the business that you want to affiliate or
franchise with. If you can't find anything bad then that's
a great start. And even if you do find negatives make sure
that the claims of those complaining are substantiated.
Almost any opportunity will have some bad press.

Basically you will need to find the business model that
most excites you. If the business model excites you, it
will excite other people too!

My intent when writing this article was to provide the
readers with a good idea of what to look for in a home
based business. Although I have given you some detail, it
is still up to you to do your due diligence and research
before investing your time and/or money into a home based
business.

Whatever you should decide I wish you luck!
