How To Make Money Doing Online Surveys

How To Make Money Doing Online Surveys
Because so many people come online wondering how to make
money doing online surveys, I thought I would write an
article about it. I'm not going to list any specific
companies by name, but will give you a few ideas on how you
can get started if that's what you want to do.

The paid survey industry has gotten a bad rap in recent
years, in my opinion. I say that from experience, because I
have actually done paid surveys and gotten paid for those.
I think the key is in how you approach it.

For years now there's been several interviews online with a
gal named Deborah Kesey. She's a real person that has made
money for over 30 years doing surveys and participating in
consumer opinion groups. It seems to me that finding other
people who have really made money has been like documenting
a Bigfoot sighting.

What I did was I started going into discussion forums and
found several that contained the threads specifically aimed
at paid surveys. I was amazed at the number of people who
are making several hundred dollars a month, and one gal
even claim to have made $1400 in December of 2007.

I personally accessed a couple of companies to get their
database of survey companies I could work for. Today thanks
to the Internet this is very easy to do and you will have
no end to the amount of work you can participate in if you
choose to.

There are surveys that pay anywhere from $.25, to $10 and
up. There are discussion groups you can participate in and
earn even larger sums of money such as $30 or $50 or more.

Another way that I found to make money is to actually sell
leads to the survey companies. I feel good about this
because it is possible to refer people and help them get
started making money completing paid surveys online without
paying for a list.

This kind of goes back to the old philosophy of whether you
are an actual worker or want to make your money selling the
tools. It really comes back to your personality, but it is
possible to make money doing online surveys both ways.

If you have any doubt whether you're being taken advantage
of I came across a website called ripoff report, which
contains as I write this links to 56 complaints about paid
survey companies. I'm not saying that all of these are
legitimate, but that in fact they are listed on this
website here: http://www.ripoffreport.com/default.asp

The bottom line is you do not need to pay for a database of
survey companies. And if you're willing to work and treat
it as a business you really can make extra money at home
doing online surveys.

Simple Way To Build Your Affiliate Marketing Business

Simple Way To Build Your Affiliate Marketing Business
If you affiliate marketing you are missing the boat if you
are not also building your e-mail marketing list at the
same time. In this article we want to analyze that
statement, and hopefully convince you to get busy building
a list of your own.

Affiliate marketing is great because you are given your own
website coded with your ID number to promote and sell
products for affiliate merchants. This makes it very easy
for people to start an affiliate marketing business of
their own right away.

However, there are two problems with using the website that
you are given by the merchant that you represent.

1. The first problem is that you are now promoting a
website that everyone else is also promoting. This makes it
hard for you to differentiate yourself and to add any of
your own personality to the product you're selling.

2. The second problem is that you do not have any way to
build a follow-up mailing list. Because many people will
not buy on the first visit, you are losing that potential
customer, because you have no way to follow up with them.

Therefore, you can understand why we say it's important
that you build an e-mail marketing list of your own. So how
do you do that when you're an affiliate marketer?

The way you do that is, you design a splash page or landing
page of your own that is there to capture contact
information of your visitor. On that splash page is a
sign-up form where you can request information such as your
visitor's name, e-mail address, phone number, or whatever
you want.

That contact form is redirected to an autoresponder where
your visitors contact information is stored for future
follow. In that autoresponder you want to have a series of
messages describing the benefits of the product you are
promoting as an affiliate.

Now instead of advertising your affiliate website, you
advertise your new splash page. Does this make sense?

You can even quickly generate a splash page of your own for
free on many various websites online. Just do a google
search for the words free splash page generator and check
out a few to find one that appeals to you.

Hopefully now you will see the benefits of building a list
while you are also building your affiliate marketing
business. This is a very simple strategy to implement and
one all affiliate marketer should be doing, starting today,
if they are not already.

Selling Info Products: Does Size Matter?

Selling Info Products: Does Size Matter?
Without a doubt, selling info products is one of the best
ways to make money online... especially when selling
downloadable products. After the product is created, you
can sell it over and again, with very little cost. This
means a huge profit margin and more money in the bank.

But does size matter? How big does the info product have
to be? I'm going to answer these important questions, and
show you how you can get started selling your own info
products quickly and profitably.

Here's a little background...

When I first started making a living online I created my
own ebooks. I saw others making money selling these
downloadable information products and wanted to get in on
the profits. And I'm glad I did because I still make a lot
of money from my first ebook.

But...

It took me about 3 months to write this 289 page ebook. It
was my first ebook, and the going was slow. Plus, the size
of the project was large. So, I spent 3 months of hard
work, without the possibility of making a penny. I wasn't
getting paid for all the hours I spent working on the
ebook. I was making an investment of my time and energy on
the hopes I would make money in the future.

But here is what I failed to realize at the time. Creating
the information product is only part of the equation.
Promoting the ebook is when the work really begins (and
where the profits are). So, just imagine, you could spend
4 months or more before you see your first penny from all
your hard work.

So, this got me thinking...

Do I really need to create a huge 300 page ebook to sell,
or could I do a smaller project and take the shortcut to
profits? More importantly, do my customers really want a
huge 300 page ebook in the first place? And that's when I
decided size doesn't matter. It is the quality of the info
product that matters.

Now,, when I say the quality of the information product,
I'm not necessarily talking about the layout, photos, cover
graphics, etc. I'm talking about the VALUE to the reader.
Give your customer EXACTLY what they want and make it easy
for them to put into practice and start seeking RESULTS.
After all, that is what your customer really wants...
RESULTS!

So, when I decided to dedicate myself to teaching others
how to make an income online, I started to focus on small
reports. Since the report is small, it focuses on a
SPECIFIC topic for a specific market. There is no fluff
and filler, and it gets to the point fast. And the
customer can get through it fast and start putting the
ideas into practice very quickly.

And here's the best part...

Instead of spending 3-4 months creating the info product to
sell, a valuable, high-quality small report can be done in
a week (or less). This means you don't have to spend
months on the hopes of making money in the distant future.
You can literally see a profit in weeks!

So, if you're thinking about selling info products online,
think small, high-quality small reports instead of huge
ebooks. The project is less overwhelming and the profits
come a lot faster.

What's the topic of your first small report?

Work From Home Online And Make Money

Work From Home Online And Make Money
You can't get around it. A lot of people these days are
striving to be able to work from home online. If you are
able to do it, it's the perfect way for parents to be able
to work and be their for their children at the same time.
Are you ready to work from home? Do you have the things you
need?

When you are trying to work from home online, you are
competing with many other people. Online jobs are in high
demand and people from all over are trying to get them.
While you should be aware of the high level of competition,
you should try not to let it get you down. If you are
persistent, you will be able to find your dream online job.

Probably the most important thing you'll need to work from
home online is a computer and a reliable internet
connection. In most cases, dial-up is not sufficient.
You'll need a high speed internet connection to effectively
work online. Make sure that you purchase a computer that's
able to perform the tasks you'll need to do. For example,
the computer needs of a graphic designer are very different
from those of someone doing data entry.

You may also want to purchase other things that will make
it easier for you to work from home. These include general
office supplies, a printer, or fax machine. It's also
important that you utilize some type of planning system.
You'll need this to keep track of all your projects. Some
people prefer one that they can actually write in and take
with them. Others are able to use online planning systems.
It all depends on what works best for you.

You're almost ready to start looking for a job. Determine
the types of skills that you have that will translate well
to an online position. Because there is so much
competition, you really need to know what your strengths
are when you want to work from home online. What makes you
stand out from the crowd?

A well-crafted resume will certainly give you an edge over
the competition. It's very important that your resume is
up-to-date and highlights the skills and experience you
have that is relevant to the position you are applying for.
When your resume is in tip-top shame, send it out to as
many companies as possible.

Once you've gotten the job, it's incredibly important to
set up a convenient work schedule for yourself. This
requires a lot of discipline as there are many distractions
when you work from home online. Make sure you treat your
online job with the same respect and dedication that you
would any other job.

Working from home is a great convenience and you should
feel lucky to be able to do so. When you work from home
online, you are able to save money by not commuting and
spend more time with your family. As long as you have a bit
of persistence (and perhaps a bit of good luck), you will
be able to work from home online shortly.

5 Tips To Creating A Successful Blog

5 Tips To Creating A Successful Blog
The concept of Web 2.0 has created a revolution over the
Internet. It has single handedly created the new Internet,
which caters to the businessman looking out for business as
well as the individual who wishes to have clear, concise
and factual information.

If Web 2.0 is the heart of new and successful Internet, the
power of Blogging is the very spine of this wonderful
concept called Web 2.0. The interesting part is that you
can create a blog about almost everything and anything in
this world around you. Blog is a personal website, which is
stored on a common server. So you can create a blog about
yourself, your job, basically your own diary.

Blogging is a boon to the new Internet Marketer. They can
actually market and introduce their product to the general
public almost for free. Here are 5 tips to creating a
successful Blog.

Give the Content, First: Say whatever you wish to say to
your reader before you even get into the ad-mad world of
the Internet. Ensure that the content is relevant and witty
and yet simple and concise. In this era of attention
deficit, everyone prefers to read simple and concise
content rather than reading a tome of knowledge that you
have to offer. Be it about yourself or about any product
that you are marketing.

Also, make it a point to stress for original and factual
content as far as possible. If possible, make it a point to
look after the formatting of the content and the website in
such a way that the reader comes to your blog to rest and
read, rather than read and run. More time spent on your
blog just means that you have more time to convince the
random web visitor into a prospective client.

Wit: All said and done, the Blog is your personal space,
and you can be a bit creative and informal while you
writing on your blog. In fact, the individuality of the
blog makes it unique.

Lay out the Layout: Every Blog website comes with its own
default themes which you can choose. You do not have to be
a usability guru to understand which theme and layout would
be the best for your users. I would suggest that you use an
eye-pleasing and brain-cooling theme for your blog. Yes,
that means that black backgrounds are out, and so are huge,
larger than life font sizes and font shapes. A necessary
tip while we are on fonts: Make it a point to use only
those fonts that are generally available on the personal
computer. If you do wish to use another font, at least make
it a point to keep the common fonts, like Arial, verdana
and times new roman as options while making out the blog
page. Ensure that the layout is not too cluttered and is
easy to navigate and move around in.

Do Not Information Over Load: Yes, that nifty trivia widget
you have found looks cute, but try to think and decide
whether it will add any extra or actual value to your blog.
Too many external widgets or modules will just render your
blog into a heavy lard of web coding that does not work
this way or that.

Describe Your Blog: It is very necessary for you to
describe your blog first to yourself and then the reader.
Remember that a professional blog and a private blog are
much different and never the twain shall meet.

Some Do's and Dont's Of Advertising...

Some Do's and Dont's Of Advertising...
When starting out with an on line business there is one
thing your going to need, web advertising. In your search
you'll find many places that promise you the world, but
beware. You have to be smart. The majority of sites that
will offer you search engine placement accompanied with a
lot of exposure for you site are simply a waste of your
time and money.

Below are a few tips and key indicators to look out for on
your journey for exposure and traffic to your on line
business via web advertisng.

First, do not waste your precious time and money with
anyone/site that promises to send an ad out for your site
to millions of people for a low fee. These scams have been
around since the advent of the Internet. I mean, if you
like throwing your money away then by all means, go for it.
If not, keep that money in your pocket.

Second, for the most part, stay away from companies that
offer to place your site in a multitude of search engines.
There are some really great tools out there that you can
use to do this yourself until you get an idea of what is
needed and how effective search engine submission should
be. In all honesty, time is the best way to solve this
problem. As long as your site provides quality content the
search engines will find you, for free.

Third, it is a good idea to invest your time and money in
writing articles. This is a time tested way to drive
traffic to your site, increase the number of incoming links
from other related sites on the net, get your site listed
in many search engines and boost your rankings in the
search engines once your in. You can either write the
articles yourself or have someone do it for you for
anywhere from $5 to $15 an article. It depends on your
particular budget and preferences.

Fourth, invest your time and money in solo ads or ezine
ads. With ezine ads, you can place a small ad in a
companies ezine that is relevant to your market for a small
fee and usually receive great results. You do need to know
how to write an effective ad and then convert the traffic
once it's on your site, but that's for another article.

Finally, do your research. If you feel you have found a
good site to advertise on, do a little research about that
particular site. See what other people are saying, their
individual success stories and so forth. Try going to
advertising forums and ask around about the site in
question or go to yahoo answers and post a question. You
will be surprised at how many people will be willing to
help out.

In the beginning, try to find the best places to advertise
on line can be a nightmare. There is so much research
involved and it can be very daunting. You also need to
know how to convert that traffic once it's on your site.
Just be skeptical when your first starting out and do your
research. Many times you'll save yourself a lot of time in
money just asking others about their experience with a
certain site.

Why You Need a Capture Page

Why You Need a Capture Page
No matter what business you are in, you absolutely need to
have a capture page. It doesn't matter if you are in the
car business, real estate business or running a home-based
business, a capture page will allow you to make many more
sales than your competition.

The reason behind this concept is fairly simple. In today's
world, people are looking for connections. This is obvious
when you witness some of the "top shows" on TV today:
Survivor, The Apprentice, America's Top Model and American
Idol. The list could go on and on! People want to connect
with others in an intimate way.

It really is no different in the business world. People
want to get to know the person in front of the business.
They want to establish a connection and understand that
they will be working with a real person.

You can accomplish this by placing a capture page
(sometimes known as a landing or splash page) in front of
your business website. Your prospect will first land on
your capture page and have the chance to get to know you
before they are introduced to your business.

In addition, you also have a form that entices the prospect
to submit all of their personal information in exchange for
access to your business site. Obviously, you need to offer
something of value in exchange for their information.
Perhaps you can offer them an e-book or a free
consultation. I often simply "tease" the prospect by
letting them know that once they enter their information,
they will have access to an amazing business opportunity.

You will notice that it is short and enticing. Prospects
are compelled to enter their information to learn more
about my business.

Once they have entered their information, than I am free to
contact them and talk to them personally. That is the
surest way to make the sale. The best part of a capture
page is that most people remember visiting your capture
page and entering their information. When you call them
back, they know who you are and are usually more than happy
to talk with you. It makes that dreaded "cold call" into a
"warm call."

So, make sure to spend some time putting together a capture
page for your business. You will soon find that you will
have quite a few more prospects than ever before. Of
course, more prospects only means more business.

10 SEO Tips to Improve Your Website

10 SEO Tips to Improve Your Website
SEO, or Search engine optimization is the technique used to
make your website appear higher in the search engine
rankings. When using SEO the ultimate goal is to appear in
the top ten results for your chosen keywords.

There are different ways to accomplish this goal, some
more effective than the other. one way to appear higher in
the ranks is by using what is known as Pay Per Click
advertising. All of the major search engines will allow
you to place an advertisement on their results page. These
advertisements are targeted to the keywords entered in the
search. By spending more than your competitors for
"clicks" your ad will appear at the top of the search
results. This method can become very expensive and is not
as effective as natural search results.

Searchers have come to trust natural search results over
Pay Per Click advertising. Most people now understand that
the sponsored links are advertisements. As a result they
don't always use the advertised links, and in surveys have
indicated that they prefer natural search results by five
to one.

Natural SEO is an Ongoing Process

To Optimize your website requires that you hit a constantly
moving target. One of the most important aspects of this
is to choose the right keywords to optimize. Keywords are
the terms people search for when looking for information on
the Internet.

The methods that the search engines use to determine search
results is always changing to improve results. The search
engines want to keep their methods a secret, and we as
webmasters want to know exactly how to improve our ranking.
While the codes are constantly changing, there's also a
wealth of knowledge available if you know where to look.

Because of this, keyword research is the most important
step in developing your website. It is important to
understand the words and phrases your targeted visitors
will use when trying to find your product or service.
There are many tools available to do this research on the
Internet ranging from free tools to software programs and
monthly subscription services. When choosing keywords try
to put yourself in the shoes of your customer. What words
or phrases would you use if you were interested in finding
your product or service? Most likely your target audience
will use the same key words and phrases.

10 Quick Tips to Improve Your Site's SEO

1. Select the best keywords.
2. Put your main keyword in your URL.
3. Put your main keyword in your <ALT> image tags.
4. Put your keyword in the title on your home page. 5.
Create original keyword rich content.
6. Get incoming links using your main keywords is anchor
text.
7. Examine your sites content for your keywords, ideally
your keywords should be 3 to 5% of the content.
8. Link back to internal pages on your site using your
selected keywords as anchor text.
9. Bold, italicize, or underline one or two keywords per
page.
10. make a site map.

These steps are not the only things you can do to improve
your ranking, but they will get you started in the right
direction. By analyzing and tweaking your website you will
improve in the search engine rankings.

Keep in mind that SEO is an ongoing process. You may see
improvements overnight, but don't get discouraged if your
site's traffic doesn't jump up immediately. SEO is a cat
and mouse game, you can't make changes once and then never
look back. If you apply these SEO tips each time you
update your website you will soon see improvement.

Content is one of the most important aspects. No matter
how often the search engines change their methods, they
will always be looking for new content. So keep adding to
your website with useful keyword rich content. By doing
this the search engines will keep returning, and so will
your visitors.

5 Tips For Enforceable Membership, Subscription And SaaS Agreements

5 Tips For Enforceable Membership, Subscription And SaaS Agreements
I work with website designers a lot -- making sure that the
Customer Agreements of my clients are presented as part of
the registration process in a way that's legally
enforceable.

One of the key components of your basic website legal
compliance documents is your Customer Agreement (which may
have many different names such as Membership Agreement,
Subscription Agreement, Terms of Sale, Content License
Agreement, etc.).

Some of my clients think that their Customer Agreement will
be enforceable solely because of legal mumbo jumbo I put in
it. Not true! Proper presentation during your registration
process is also a key to enforceability. If the agreement
is not presented properly, it will not be enforceable.

And as I point out to my ecommerce clients and their
website designers... if your Customer Agreement is not
enforceable, then all of your carefully worded disclaimers
and limitations of liability will be ineffective. The
result -- you would be exposed to substantial liability.

Specht v. Netscape Comms. Corp

A good example of a click-wrapped agreement that was
presented improperly can be found in the case of Specht v.
Netscape Comms. Corp., 150 F. Supp. 2d 585 (S.D.N.Y. 2001),
aff'd. 306 F.3d 17 (2nd Cir. 2002).

In the Specht case, Netscape's website developer designed
its download page for Netscape's SmartDownload software
with little regard for contract enforceability.

Netscape's download page provided a download button which
downloaded the SmartDownload software. The only reference
to a license agreement required the user to scroll to the
bottom of the same web page which provided a link to the
license agreement. Clicking on this link directed the user
to another page which stated that use of the software was
governed by a license agreement that required still another
click before the user could read the contract terms.

The 2nd Circuit ruled that Netscape's agreement was
unenforceable because of 3 deficiencies:

* the user did not have to click on an "ACCEPT" or "I
AGREE" button to indicate assent; * the text on the web
page accompanying the download did not clearly state that
agreement was a pre-condition to use; * the failure to
provide "reasonable notice" of the existence of contract
terms.

Lessons Learned From The Specht Case

Lessons learned from the Specht case involve 2 basic
methods of successfully incorporating your Customer
Agreement into your website - the full page method and the
scroll box method.

The full page method is the most conservative method. This
method requires the placement of the "I AGREE" button at
the bottom of the page containing the contract terms
(thereby requiring the user to at least scroll to the
bottom of the page to click).

The scroll box method requires the placement of the "I
AGREE" button on or in close proximity to a scroll box
containing the scrollable contract terms coupled with
visible explanatory text providing notice of the contract
terms.

Most website designers prefer the scroll box method because
it uses less space. If you use the scroll box method, this
is a summary of the 5 tips for enforceability:

1. conspicuous presentation during registration process -
the scroll box with the agreement should be presented
conspicuously during the registration process;

2. reasonable notice of the existence of contract terms -
this is the purpose of the text that is in all caps at the
very top of the agreement (ABC COMPANY IS WILLING TO GRANT
YOU RIGHTS TO ESTABLISH AND USE AN ACCOUNT WITH THIS SITE
...);

3. unambiguous manifestation of assent - this is the
purpose of the ACCEPT button - place both the ACCEPT and
the DECLINE buttons on the scroll box just under the
scrollable window - set the default to DECLINE - make sure
that registration cannot be completed unless the ACCEPT
button is clicked;

4. opportunity to review contract terms - the scrollable
window should show some of the text of the agreement below
the notice section without the requirement of scrolling to
see it - the text should be in a legible font, clear, and
readable - the scroll box should permit the user to review
the contract terms easily at the user's own pace, and the
user should be able to navigate up and down through the
entire text of the agreement in the scroll box; and

5. opportunity to print agreement - the scroll box
presentation should clearly indicate an opportunity to
print the agreement.

Conclusion

Enforceable Customer Agreements are critical to controlling
your online business... and with it, your exposure to
liability. Although part of the issue of enforceability is
determined by what your Customer Agreement actually says...
a significant part is determined by how it's presented. So,
be sure to monitor how your website designer incorporates
your agreement into your site, and make sure it's done
right.

The future of your business may be riding on it!

Focusing Your Online Business: Take Your Pick from Top Home Businesses

Focusing Your Online Business: Take Your Pick from Top Home Businesses
The big advantage of an online home business is the
extremely modest cost involved in starting up. Provided you
have a computer and ready access to the internet, you can
operate from almost anywhere. You're not involved with
premises, provision of expensive machinery or equipment,
access to raw materials, recruitment and training of staff,
standards and zoning requirements etc.

The second major advantage is that of being able to manage
your own time and time-frames. You are most likely to begin
by working part time, while you keep your job and manage
home or family commitments. You may continue in this mode
for any period of time, but bear in mind that the results
will be directly proportional to the time and effort you
are able to commit to your business.

Don't be fooled by promises of huge wealth, just by signing
up (and paying for) a scheme that will run all by itself
.There (are) process which will massively reduce your
workload, but it is only by your direct participation in
your business that you will really get anywhere. If you get
started, and then sit back doing nothing, your business
will also do nothing!

You may decide to do online typing, data collection, survey
completion or even online book-keeping, depending on your
personal skills. Any of these is capable of generating
income for you, but remember that there is only one of you
completing the required tasks. Your income will be in exact
proportion to the number of hours you can spend at your
computer. You may well say," I can't afford to employ
staff! I'm not even making enough for myself."

If you really want the pick of all the top home businesses,
you have to find a way of getting other people to work for
you, while they work for themselves. This means that you
recruit other people to join with you in the selling or
marketing processes, entering a business association with
you, in an extremely powerful process called affiliate
marketing. In this way you leverage your output levels by
having a group of people pulling in the same direction, and
all benefiting by their cumulative efforts.

If your reaction to this is," What do I know about
affiliate marketing? I wouldn't even know where to start!"
then you're about normal. The internet offers thousands of
Click here - Pay there options which will readily relieve
you of your hard-earned cash, only to leave you
floundering, wondering what to do next.

This is precisely where I found myself some time ago. I
investigated endless options, trying to find what's there
among all the top home businesses, until I came across one
extremely promising looking opportunity, and was
immediately attracted by the calibre of the business
leaders, and especially by the opportunity to duplicate the
steps taken by a number of eminently successful business
owners, who've already been there, done that before.

The key to success lies in being trained, guided and
mentored to duplicate the exact steps taken by these
people, learning from them in a carefully structured way
exactly what to do and how to do it. You don't have to
reinvent the wheel, and you don't need to make the same
mistakes they made. They'll tell you very carefully what
not to do, as well!

I sincerely hope you've found this article useful, or at
least thought provoking. In my next article I'll take you
closer to the action so that you can make you own, informed
decisions.

How Important Is Time Freedom To You

How Important Is Time Freedom To You
Many people choose to start their own Internet business for
various reasons. One of those reasons is they want to have
more control over their own time. In this article we want
to talk about how you can use the Internet to create time
freedom if that is important to you.

1. Automation is one of the greatest things that the
Internet provides to home business owners. The fact that
you can automate many different aspects of your business
allows you to spend your time doing the things that you
enjoy most.

One way that a business can become automated online is
through an auto responder. An auto responder is an
automatic way to send e-mail marketing messages. This is
easily accomplished by loading your autoresponder with
prewritten messages and then capturing contact information
of your prospects and sending them the messages
automatically.

Another way that this proves extremely helpful is as you
build your list you are able to quickly contact literally
thousands of people with one click. As opposed to the old
days when you have to pick up the telephone or drop a
postcard in the mail, you can now keep in contact with as
many people as you want very quickly.

2. Another important aspect a successful Internet marketing
business can provide you is residual income. In the past
very few people have ever achieved residual income. In some
industries such as insurance, or even a handful of select
network marketers, they have been able to create a walkaway
income.

To have true time freedom, you need to be able to work when
you want and where you want. A residual income allows you
to do that because you're getting paid for doing your work
one time. This would not be possible at a job, and
therefore more and more people are turning to the Internet
to find ways to do that.

3. The other thing we want to mention is an Internet
business allows you to choose when and where you work. As
long as you have Internet access, and can log on line, you
are in business wherever you are anywhere in the world.
This freedom of choice is what drives many people to build
their own successful home businesses on the Internet.

This is three ways that time freedom can be achieved if it
is important to you. You may have other things that
motivate you, and hopefully this article will help you
start thinking of those.

7 Secrets for Starting A Successful Affiliate Marketing Business

7 Secrets for Starting A Successful Affiliate Marketing Business
Affiliate marketing is one of the most effective and
powerful ways of earning money online. Programs are easy to
join, implement and pays a commission on a regular basis.
Since there is very low start up costs as opposed to other
businesses, it is an ideal business to start, even part-
time from the comforts of your home.

However, like all businesses, there are lots of pitfalls in
the affiliate marketing business. Committing some of the
most common mistakes will cost the beginning marketer time
and money. That is why it is better to avoid them than be
regretful in the end.

Here is a list of what I think are the most important
things to remember:

1.) Concentrate on only one program at a time. The MOST
important point. How many Affiliate Programs are you signed
up for? Pick the one you want to work on and commit to
getting it profitable before moving on to the next one.

2.) Wasting valuable time doing "busy work". In this
Information Age it is easy to get bogged down with access
to so much information. How much time do you spend reading
emails? If you are subscribed to lots of "Guru"
newsletters, read only the ones pertinent to your present
promotion. Concentrate on your one promotion. Which leads
us to....

3.) Have a written plan. Make notes of the things you need
to do, in order of importance, and do each one until it's
completed. Stay focused.

4.) Using Google Adwords as a beginner. When I started I
had purchased a program that said to send the leads
generated from Google Ads directly to the sales page. I
can't tell you how much money I spent with little results.
Things in the world of Google Adwords are constantly
changing. Leave this one for research and study until you
learn more about it. Stay with the free or very low cost
advertising to start with.

5.) You must capture names and email addresses for
long-term success. You do this by sending leads to a
"Squeeze Page". Also called a landing page or an opt-in
page. You offer something of quality: an ebook, report,
software, etc. for free as an incentive for signing up.
Build a list and send them 2 or 3 emails a month, which
leads us to....

6.) Use an autoresponder service. Sending a few information
packed emails per month builds trust and credibility. This
is what puts your business on autopilot. Make sure you send
quality information and don't oversell or they will opt out.

7.) Be an affiliate for companies that have not only a
great sales page but also promotional resources that you
can use to promote them. They should be willing to guide
you thru all the processes until you become more adept at
this wonderful business we call Affiliate Marketing. To
your success!

An Autoresponder Is A Marketers Best Friend

An Autoresponder Is A Marketers Best Friend
Have you ever heard of the expression "A diamond is a
girl's best friend?" Well an auto-responder is a
marketer's best friend! So what is an autoresponder and
how is it a marketer's best friend? An autoresponder is a
program that allows you the ability to send out emails to a
large group of people all at one time. In addition, it
allows you to pre-program those emails in advance so that
the recipients receive them in set intervals (i.e. every 7
days, etc).

Why is an autoresponder a marketer's best friend? There's
a saying that goes as follows..."Exposure is everything but
the fortune is in the follow-up." You can expose a
prospect to your web site and they may buy what you have to
offer. However, if you really want to significantly
increase the chances of getting a sale, then you need to
follow up with as many people that visit your web site as
possible. An autoresponder allows you to be able to do
just that.

When a prospect visits your web site, you need to get that
prospect to subscribe to your autoresponder so that you can
follow up with them. One of the best ways to get a
prospect to subscribe to your autoresponder is to offer
them a "bribe" or a "free gift." In exchange for the
prospect providing you with their name and email address,
you can provide the prospect with a free e-book, a 7 day
e-course or even a free audio or video. The prospect
subscribes to your autoresponder to get the free gift and
you now have the ability to follow up with the prospect.

"But email marketing is dead" you say? "No one is getting
any of my emails because of the SPAM filters." This is
nonsense. UNWANTED email marketing is dead, but the bottom
line is if people WANT your email, they will get your
email. The key is you have to sell people on wanting to
receive your emails.

Maybe you send the free gift to them via email so that they
have to give you the correct email address in order to
receive the free gift. Maybe you promise some additional
information at some point in the future via email so that
they will want to make sure they are getting your emails.
In any case, people will receive your emails if they want
your emails.

Most people who have email accounts are already familiar
with the concept of a SPAM filter or folder. As part of
their email routine, they scan their SPAM filters to see if
there are any emails that they want to receive. If you are
providing information of value to a targeted prospect, even
if your email gets blocked through a SPAM filter, the
prospect will unblock your email and read your email.

The final benefit to an autoresponder system is that you
have the ability to send out a broadcast email to your
entire list at one time. This is a very useful and
valuable tool for many email marketing strategies. For
instance, maybe you might want to offer a monthly
newsletter to your subscribers. Perhaps you are using
affiliate marketing and you are making an offer to your
list. All of these techniques require the use of an
autoresponder. Therefore, if you are not using an
autoresponder in your email marketing strategies and
techniques, you are missing a vital component to your
marketing funnel. Remember, an autoresponder is a
marketers best friend!

Work at Home Job or Work at Home Business - Which is Best for You?

Work at Home Job or Work at Home Business - Which is Best for You?
You want to work from home, but will you choose a work at
home job or work at home business? What you decide to do
can be based on several factors, including how much you
need or want to earn, how much time you can commit, and
your preferred style of work, as well as the type of person
you are.

A Work at Home Job If you prefer more structure and
accountability and don't mind modest wages, a job you can
do from home might be for you. As more and more companies
look to slash their costs of doing business, many
well-known companies are beginning to shift from
outsourcing jobs to overseas workers and instead want to
hire more domestic employees who can work from home. These
jobs should not require fees to start if they are
legitimate employers looking to hire you; you can begin to
earn money almost right away. You might enlist the help of
a work at home job directory to help filter out scams or
simply scan job listings for work at home positions.
Examples of work at home jobs include writing, typing, data
entry, and customer service jobs.

A Work at Home Business Home businesses usually have some
start up costs and require time before they begin to
produce much income. However they can give much bigger
returns in the long run once you take the risk. For
beginners, affiliate marketing is what many recommend doing
first. If you already have a website, you can apply to
become an affiliate of a well-known company that you
already respect. Simply visit the websites of your
favorite companies and see if they have a link for people
interested in becoming one of their affiliates. If you are
approved and become an affiliate, you receive a small
commission for each click or sale that comes from your
site. This is a relatively low-risk kind of affiliate
program.

On the other hand, if you want to start a business as part
of affiliate program that uses more of a multi-level
marketing approach, you will need to read a lot of reviews
of different programs. Before you join one, make sure you
understand exactly what the program involves. You need to
know what it will all cost to get started, from supplies
and equipment to training materials you purchase from the
program. You also must find out who will pay you and
whether it will be based on commission or some other
arrangement. And of course you must be clear on what you
will be doing, to get a detailed picture of the duties and
activities you will be performing to earn your money. The
best programs will answer your questions in a
straightforward manner. Scams or shadier programs
advertise themselves as more than they are or turn out to
be different than you are first led to believe. Once you
have verified that a program is legitimate, you can invest
in your start up materials and begin the steps entailed in
starting your business. Having your own business and
working from home requires you to be able to work
independently and stay motivated. If you are organized and
able to plan well, and believe you are better able to
flourish when freed from the constraints of others,
starting a business may suit you and reward your leadership
abilities.

Some people take a third option when considering a work at
home job or work at home business. They choose both. The
job gives them a steady income while they build up their
new home-based business. Once you know your options and
capabilities, it all comes down to deciding what work at
home option will work best for you.

Is There Such Thing As The Best Home Based Internet Business?

Is There Such Thing As The Best Home Based Internet Business?
Everyone wants to know what the best home based internet
business is. It is like there is some hidden business that
only some people know of and everyone else is looking for.
Unfortunately that is not the case. If there was one
business that worked for everyone, don't you think everyone
would be successful on the internet?

The internet is full of opportunities to venture into. It
is up to you to find out which ones work best for you and
which do not. The reason there are so many options is
because everyone is interested in different fields and
everyone has different tastes. With this brings a wide
variety of options to choose from.

Also, with the internet changing and evolving as often as
it does, there are always new programs and businesses
popping up. For instance, Abunza is a new program that is
taking the internet by storm. It has thousands of
entrepreneurs already making thousands of dollars a week.

Unfortunately for some, there is a start-up fee of over
$900 to join the program. Some people do not have this
kind of money to jump into a program. This is exactly why
there is not one business that is the best home internet
business on the internet. Not everyone is interested in
the same thing, not everyone has the money to join some
programs, and not everyone is willing to put in the work
that some require.

So how do you go about finding the best business for you?
It is sad to say, but trial and error often times is the
best method. All you can do is research extensively and go
off of what you have heard around the internet. Take the
time to post in forums relevant to the niche you are
interested in. From there, ask which programs people have
had success with.

Once you have received some opinions, go to those web sites
and look at the sales page. You want to look at everything
from the professionalism to the content presented to the
training offered when looking at a sales page. There are
far too many scams on the internet to not look deep into a
sales page.

After deciding on a few programs, try them out for awhile
and see what you think. This really is the best way to
find a quality home based internet business. If you find
you are not cut for that particular program, move on to the
next and try that one out. While it may seem like a waste
of time, it is vital you give the program at least a solid
month of work before quitting. After that, move on and see
what else the internet has to offer.

7 Steps to Creating a Podcast from an Article

7 Steps to Creating a Podcast from an Article
I love to write once and repurpose the articles I write
into as many marketing opportunities as a I can that will
reach the greatest number of people. While podcasting has
always intrigued me, I never wanted to take the time to
create additional content for an audience who prefers to
listen to their information rather than read it. Then it
occurred to me that I could create podcasts from my
articles by simply reading them (with some feeling and
inflection) and integrate that into my weekly article
marketing plan.

Podcasting is the process of creating audio files (most
commonly in MP3 format) available online so that users can
automatically download the files to listen whenever they
want. Many will listen to the file via their computer, but
since the file is portable, the listener can also download
the file to the mp3 player, much in the same way they would
download and listen to music.

Here's my 7 step process to creating podcasts from my
articles:

1. Write article. Yes, you have to begin here, as without
content, you have no podcast.

2. Create introduction. There are actually 3 parts to
your introduction. In the first part, give your podcast a
name and create an introduction to who you are and what you
do. Here's an example:

"Hi and welcome to the (your name here) podcast. I'm (your
name and title and description). What I do at (my company
name) is....(your 10 second audio commercial)."

In the second part of the introduction, I create a short
sponsor message. Instead of finding paying sponsors, which
is a very viable option, I create sponsors by buying domain
names for affiliate products that I routinely recommend and
then use that domain name and description of my product as
my sponsor. In this way I leverage the information I
already have at hand (recommendations of trusted products
and services for which I'm an affiliate) without the hassle
of seeking out paying sponsorships.

So, the second part of my introduction might be constructed
to say something like, "Our sponsor this week is
XYZStorytelling.com. What if you had a FAIL-PROOF SHORTCUT
to consistently capture attention, whether you're closing a
sale, writing promotional copy, or captivating at a
cocktail party? This new teleseminar will teach you how at
XYZStorytelling.com."

The third part of the introduction gives the listener the
title of your podcast, as in this example: "This week's
(podcast name) podcast is called, (your podcast title
here)."

3. Create outtroduction. This is the exiting information
that you say at the end of every podcast. For maximum
effectiveness, incorporate your website's primary call to
action here. My call to action is sending people to pick up
their free copy of the ebook giveaway that I provide when
they sign up for my email newsletter list. Here's an
example: "Thanks for joining me for another (your podcast
name) podcast. As your free gift, please pick up your copy
of my ebook, (your free giveway here), at (your website
URL).

4. Prepare for recording. In order to sound natural and
relaxed yet animated and interesting, you'll probably want
to rehearse the reading of your article a couple of times
before actually recording it. Initially I was copying and
pasting my article into a Word document and enlarging the
type so that I could easily read it. Then, I discovered a
fr*ee online teleprompter call CuePrompter.com. Now I copy
and paste my entire podcast, including the intro, article,
and outtro into CuePrompter, set the speed to 3, rehearse
with the teleprompter a couple of times until I'm
comfortable, and then I'm ready to record.

5. Record the podcast. You can record your podcast on any
type of audio recording software, like Audacity, or through
a teleconference bridgeline service that records phone
calls. I use an audio recording service that permits me to
record and distribute my podcasts. Because your podcast
will be fairly short (6 minutes or so), if you stammer or
stumble during the recording process, it's simple to just
begin again.

6. Upload the podcast. Once you have your completed
recording, you can upload the podcast into your podcast
distribution service or your podcast website. The link to
your service or to your podcast website should be readily
available on your primary website, in your email
newsletter, and on your blog.

7. Post to podcast sites. If you don't use a podcasting
distribution service, you can manually submit your podcast
to various directories online and enter the appropriate
distribution information there. That may include info like
the podcast title, your name and company name, category
for podcast, podcast album art, and keywords to describe
the podcast. I've found a comprehensive listing of podcast
directories at
http://www.podcastingnews.com/topics/Podcast_Directory.html.

Instead of reinventing the wheel by creating new content
for a new marketing medium, the podcast, simply repurpose
the material you've already created. This is a very
effective strategy to get the word out about your products
and services to an entirely new market!

3 Keys to Starting Your Own Successful Work At Home Business

3 Keys to Starting Your Own Successful Work At Home Business
Many people want to start their own businesses at home
today and it is becoming ever easier to do just that.
However, starting the business is not the hard part, but
rather starting a successful one is.

Below you will find some keys to starting a successful work
at home business.

It is important to remember that you are not the first
person to start your own home business and that you are not
the only one currently starting one. You need to get into
forums and communicate with others who have either set-up a
business or are setting one up now. This allows you to
learn from the mistakes of those who have succeeded so that
you do not make that same mistake.

When listening to those who have experience on the internet
it is important that you keep your mind open and stay
objective. While one way may work for the person you talk
to it may not be the way that works for you. Learn what has
helped others succeed and then choose which way is right
for you.

One of the most important things you need to start a
successful work at home business is training. This is one
of the things that few people have when starting their
business and it is one of the hardest things to get.

If you are inexperienced on the internet than you will have
to learn while you begin to make money, but, if you are a
veteran you should have no problem earning right away.
Regardless if you are a veteran or you are inexperienced
you will need to continue to learn the new tactics to keep
your business successful.

Your internet business can not be successful if you have no
traffic to your site. If you are just beginning to get
traffic to your site you should use affiliate marketing or
article marketing to get the traffic coming in. If you are
a veteran it is important that you continue to do these
methods and continue to improve your site so that people
will continue to come back to it.

If you can create a steady stream of traffic coming to your
site, begin to train or improve your training on the
internet, and learn from those who have experience on the
internet, you should be able to start a successful work at
home business in no time at all.

Honest Abunza Review

Honest Abunza Review
When you see all of the opportunities that are out there on
the Internet today, it's hard to know what you are really
looking at. Are all of these companies for real and are
their promises and success stories true? Abunza is one of
the companies that you may have been wondering about. I'm
here to give you the honest Abunza review, what they have
to offer and what they can do for you financially.

First of all, Abunza was created by Michael Spire and
Sebastian Saldarriaga and is a completely bi-lingual
company. Their products include software, ebooks, videos
and audios and all of them come in English as well as
Spanish versions. There are a variety of topics, all
geared toward maximizing the traffic you get to your
website. Becoming part of the Abunza business means
joining the team and selling these products to other
people. I know...you are probably wondering how all of
this can benefit you. This is when you need a good Abunza
review. Well, the compensation is not bad.

When you work with Abunza, there are two different ways
that you can make money. The first is retail sales. For
every product that you sell to a retail customer through
your Abunza store, you will earn 100% commission. These
are the sales that are made when a customer visits your
site, picks a product that they like and then buys it.
Since you own the rights to sell the products, then this
can be a good first step in the right direction to making
some money. There is however, another way that you can
make money and it's potential is much greater.

The other way that Abunza provides for you to make money is
marketing your product wholesale, through their 2-tier
compensation plan. This basically means that, every time
you sell a complete digital library package, which costs
$997, you will make $797 on the sale. This is the first
tier, because these are sales that are made by only you.
In the second tier, you make $200 for every sale that is
made by on of your personally sponsored people. These are
both constant commissions that don't change with time or
sales numbers. Also, you can start making these
commissions from the first sale that you make. It isn't
one of those deals where, you have to give up your first or
second commissions. Abunza gives commission from the start
and they are even there to help you with your sales.

Abunza does provide some good support for you as you are
learning and continue to sell their products. They have a
support group called the Dream Team that can call your
prospects for you, either in Spanish or English, and help
to make the sale. This means that you don't really have to
speak Spanish or English to be able to sell the products to
everyone. Keep in mind, though, that your commissions will
reflect this Dream Team usage. Your net commission, after
you use the Dream Team to make a sale, goes down to $597.

Overall, I do think that Abunza is a respectable company.
The 2-tier compensation plan is much better than the 2-up
program that you see all over the Internet. With Abunza's
2-tier program, you at least don't lose your sponsor after
2 sales and you get more support from the ongoing
relationship that can be formed between you and your
sponsor.
