How To Connect With Your Visitors Through Email

One of the most effective ways to earn the trust and money
of your visitors is to correspond with them through email.

In order to get their name and email address you should
give them something of value first.

Something like a free report or a 5-part course on the
particular topic of your website is a simple way to get
into their world and into their "inbox".

After you have provided someone with something of value
like a free 5-Part weekly beginner's course in learning how
to cook when they have subscribed to your email list, you
can start to promote your product the following week.

Your product has to be related as to what you have just
provided for your subscriber. So, you can promote an e-book
on simple recipes that they can do during their free time,
a video course on how to cook certain recipes, a workshop
they can attend and much more.

An effective email can get people on a call to action when
it has aroused the interest of the subscriber. Using your
Autoresponder, you can input 6 weeks of content to your
customer.

How Do You Write A Powerful Email?

This email marketing strategy we're imparting on you has
been known to generate copywriters six figures of sales
each year. This element of copywriting you have to use in
your email is simple- you have to awe your customers.

So how do you write a powerful email?

1. Use your subscriber's first name in the subject box.

By using your subscriber's name in your subject box, like
this: "Rasheed, Maximize Your Sales Now!" you actually
invoke personalization to the email. Using a name in a
subject box has been proven to get more clicks to read the
email from subscribers.

However, do not use too much of the first-name basis
strategy in the subject box for every single email. It is a
mistake Internet marketers do that tends to get over-used.

2. Create a Powerful Headline

Create a headline that attracts attention to the niche that
you're in. In the previous step, there was the headline
that said "Rasheed, Maximize Your Sales Now!" This headline
could intrigue businessmen who want to expand their
business and generate more profits.

3. A Content List

A content list is like a content page in a book, except in
an email. Now creating content list in your email lets your
subscribers know what you will be covering in your email.
Create content lists that arouse the reader to further read
the email for more effectiveness in promoting your product.

4. The First Sentence

The first sentence in your email should leave your
subscribers with an impact of curiosity to read on the rest
of the email.

For example, there was first sentence in Jo Han's email
that went like this: 'My Mega Birthday Blowout is now
LIVE'. Now, if I am a subscriber, I'll be wondering, "What
the hell is he talking about?"

I have no choice but to read on the email copy to find out
more. No one wants to be left out of something that someone
wants to tell them about.

5. The Content

When you are promoting your product in an email, the
mistake a lot of Internet marketers make is to describe and
teach what was in the product.

Although a lot of knowledge is good, teaching them is not.
Why would you want to promote your product in your email
when you already have a website promoting it?

You have to write email copy that makes the reader excited,
curious and eager to know more. Just as they are burning up
for your product, provide them with the link to your
website.

Implement certain copywriting techniques in it. Learn more
content generation and email copy techniques by subscribing
to other Internet marketers' emails.

6. The Links

It is wise to have two links to direct your customers to
your website. One of which can be after the first sentence,
whereby the second one can be before the close of the email.

Pull In FREE MLM Leads With A Killer Signature

A signature box also known as a resource box is a short 4-6
line signature that contains your details. It's like a mini
advertisement of you. These signature boxes can be located
at the bottom of articles, forum posts and even your emails
that you send out. It's free advertising so it should be
used wherever allowed.

Follow these 3 important rules when writing and using your
signature box

1. DO NOT outright sell your product or opportunity

2. Make sure you provide a link to your website

3. Test using the word "FREE" vs. not using it to see what
generates better results

4. Create your signature box around a problem people are
having and your solution to it... BENEFITS

Let's go into these in more detail.

You will need to test using the word FREE vs. not using it
to see what kind of results you get. In my opinion and
experience they both can be effective. There is debate
about both. On one side your only goal is to get them to
opt in so you can have their information to follow up with
them. The other side is that it's all about attraction and
who you are attracting. There are a lot of freebie seekers
out there that do not take action and are just looking for
a bunch of free stuff and are not willing to invest in
themselves by buying a product that will help them make
money. Obviously you do not want this type of person.

I think they both have their place and what you need to do
is test for yourself to see what is most effective.

More important than any of that is that your signature box
gets a click. If you can find a problem people are having
and you have a solution to that problem people will follow
your signature link to find out more information.

For example lets look at two signature boxes:

"Get traffic from forum marketing"
OR "How would you like FREE targeted traffic by utilizing
forum marketing? Click here to learn an extremely effective
method for getting highly targeted traffic FREE using our
technique just 10 minutes per day!"

Ok, I'm sure its obvious which one will pull more clicks
right? I think we can all see the problem with the first
signature. The funny thing is that this one is pretty bad
but I've seen quite a few that are that bad or worse. And
what would be worse than that is putting ONLY your link in
your signature box. Why would someone want to click it?
NEVER do that. And NEVER do the example above either now
that you've read this.

So lets talk about why the second one is so much better.
First of all it is addressing a problem. Everyone is
searching for ways to get traffic especially targeted
traffic. So right off the bat you are addressing a problem
everyone has. Second you are providing a solution to that
problem telling them they can get FREE traffic by using
forum marketing 10 minutes per day.

Remember to test and keep testing. Things are ALWAYS
changing online one thing is not going to work forever all
the time. Mold with the market if something stops working
or isn't working change it a little till you get results.

Last thing, your signature box is the way you develop
interest in your business. Your signature should be
EVERYWHERE! Lets say you pass out a business card because
someone asked what you do for a living. Most peoples
business card just has their name, phone number, website
and email. What good is any of that. If you look at a
business card like that you don't think to yourself "oh
man, I need to go visit this website!" Why not? Well it
goes back to the benefits we were talking about above.

BUT... lets do a little experiment here. Lets pretend you
were walking down the street and you picked up two business
cards. They both had name, email, phone, website address.
They were identical EXCEPT one thing. On one of the cards
at the very bottom said "Learn how to make $1,200 over and
over on the internet every day. Go here www.example.com"

I hope you see what I am getting at. Now even that above
isn't that great because I just thought of it. I'm sure
with a little time we could think of something even MORE
effective.

So my point is how important your benefit statement is and
to put your signature everywhere. If you have business
cards put it there, put it at the bottom of every article
you write (obviously), put it at the bottom of your regular
email accounts not just your business ones. What if you had
your signature box at the bottom of your personal email
account and you email a joke to your brother in law John
and John forwards it to all his friends because she thinks
it is so funny and one of those people sees your signature
clicks on your link, joins your business and becomes or
recruits your next superstar!

You better be getting this. This is some good stuff here!

Oh sorry one last thing. Don't forget to include your
signature in forums you belong to that have nothing to do
with your business. For example I've belonged to a corvette
forum forever because I own a corvette and for months and
months my signature just had the details of my car and
things I've done to it. Oooops! So I kept those details but
also added "learn how to make $1,200 on the internet over
and over every day residually even if you have no internet
marketing experience!" Guess what? I still post in that
forum like normal, interacting with members and this brings
me a few clicks per week. All FREE!

Also here is another great way to develop great signatures.
Scan forums, articles and anywhere else there are
signatures and look at the ones that get your attention.
Find signatures you know are working. Look at the gurus
signature. You KNOW theirs are working. Copy it and just
mold it to your business.

I am going to tell you guys something, something very
important about network marketing. And I repeat this all
the time. Success in network marketing is about
duplication. It is about doing what is already being done
by the successful ones. Do not go out and reinvent the
wheel. If someone has a signature box that you know is
working take it and just apply it to your business.

The person with the fastest copy machine in network
marketing wins! Remember that.

Good Luck Out There Everyone!

7 Steps to Optimum Website Performance

Get the most from your web pages by checking them after
they have first been launched, and then on a regular,
ongoing basis to make sure that each of these steps checks
out properly.

When You First Launch Your Website

1. Bookmark your website. Now, re-open your browser and see
if an icon other than the browser icon shows up before your
URL. You can easily get your own custom favicon to load
with your page. Also try to type in your website without
the "www". If you get an error or server message, contact
your hosting company to have this corrected. Many internet
users will attempt to directly navigate to your website
without the w's.

2. Have a family member, friend or associate check your
homepage. It's best if it is someone who is not familiar
with the Internet. Ask them if they know the focus of your
web site. They should be able to point out the main focus
of your homepage without difficulty. If they are confused
as to what your site is about, you need to make some
changes. Ask yourself "Is my message clear from the get-go?"

3. Make sure all of the links within your web site work
properly, as well as links going outside your web site.

4. Make sure all tags are properly closed. Examples of this
are the use of the paragraph tag
and the

tag. In XHTML all open tags must have a closing
tag: </p>

5. Check your image optimization and image links for
problems, broken links, changes and updates, etc. Make sure
you quote all attribute values within the document.

For example
<img src="Images/NecTeci3TN.jpg" alt="Slide 3: Why
TECI?" width="200" height="136" border="1">
is correctly coded while
<img src=Images/NecTeci3TN.jpg alt=Slide 3: Why TECI?
width=200 height= 136 border= 1 >
is not.

6. Do you use PDF's on your site? If you do, be sure to
evaluate three important factors:
* Do you provide a link to download Acrobat Reader?
* Do you denote your links as PDF's and show the user the
file size?
* Do you provide links back to your web site from the PDF?

7. Lastly, remember you can always use the free validator
tool to make sure your web page is compliant. You can find
the W3C validator at http://validator.w3.org/ and simply
putting in the URL of the page you want checked. It will
verify whether the page you constructed is XHTML compliant.

The easier and clearer things are on your website, the more
people will use your site and the more often they will
return.

Five Tools Any Affiliate Marketer Needs

Becoming an affiliate marketer is easy, right? In fifteen
minutes you can be all set up and earning thousands of
pounds a day. All you need is to promote a link, or set up
a website, and the money will start pouring in.

Except it doesn't work quite like that.

Most people soon discover that if they want to earn a
living with affiliate marketing, they need more than just a
link and a website. They need tools to help maximise their
marketing campaigns, to get the most from the visitors to
their website, and generate as much traffic as possible.

Below, I list five tools I consider essential for any new
affiliate marketer to find.

1. Guide-book.

Listed first because it is probably the first thing most
affiliate marketers purchase. Of course, it is possible to
become a successful affiliate marketer by yourself. But
buying a guide-book or joining a program that will teach
you the best methods and tell you how to avoid basic
mistakes will save you both time and money.

Of course, many e-books promising to teach you how to
become a successful affiliate marketer are scams. Others
contain little useful information. But if you do your
research and find the affiliate marketing program that is
right for you and your level of knowledge, this could be an
invaluable tool.

2. Link tracker.

Link trackers keep track of how many times a link has been
clicked on, and, if you are paying to place that link where
it is, how much you are paying per click.

Without one, how do you know which of your advertising
campaigns is the most successful? You might have made $200
in one week, after spending $40 on one campaign and $15 on
another. But what if all the clicks came from the $15
campaign, and none from the campaign that cost $40?

You have just thrown away $40, and without a link tracker
you would never have known.

3. Hit counter.

The basic role of a hit counter is to count how many people
visit your website. However, a good one will do much more
than that.

They will tell you what other pages link to yours, what
search engine terms visitors use to find your site, what
countries people are visiting from, what operating systems
they use, what link they leave your site from, how long
they spend reading your site, and more.

All this information can be used to increase the amount of
money your site earns and to produce more traffic.

4. Autoresponder.

There is a famous story of an affiliate marketer who sat
down and made a million dollars in 24 hours.

It is no myth. He really did. But he had a huge advantage:
he had a mailing list.

Super-affiliate marketers make most of their money from
their mailing list, which can often have tens, if not
hundreds, of thousands of members. It only needs a tiny
fraction of this list to buy a product to make the
affiliate thousands of dollars.

An autoresponder will help you build and manage your own
mailing list, so you can start pulling in profits like the
super affiliate marketers do.

5. Article submitter.

Articles are one of the best traffic generators there are.
Write an article, submit it to a directory, and it can end
up being seen by thousands of people: who all also see the
link to your website at the bottom.

But who can be bothered to manually submit their articles
to hundreds of article directories? It would take hours of
filling in forms, hours in which you could be doing more
productive work.

A good article submitter will save you all that work,
submitting your article automatically. You will see the
results immediately.

The good news is, not all these things are expensive to
buy. In fact, most of them are available free! However, it
is important to be wary. You need good quality tools, as
bad quality ones will be more of a hindrance than a help.

Look out for recommendations for the tools and resources
you need. And when you have them, you will find your road
to becoming a successful affiliate marketer becomes that
much easier.

Affiliate Ebook Marketing Series - Promoting Affiliate Ebook Marketing by Website

Getting an affiliate ebook is a good way to boost your
affiliate sales. You can really take advantage of this
trend in affiliate marketing, but you still have to have a
good marketing tactic.

Online the biggest tool a business has is their website. A
website is the equivalent of a store. The website is the
sales platform. It not only acts like the store front, but
also the sales force. That is why using a website for
affiliate ebook marketing is an ideal idea.

Affiliate ebook marketing on a website can be tied in with
the marketing efforts for the website. This will also help
cut down on time spent marketing. Instead of having to
market both the website and ebook a person will only be
doing marketing once.

The key to marketing an affiliate ebook on a website is
good placement. In order to really market the ebook it has
to be a prominent feature on the website. It has to be
seen and be obvious.

To do this it should be on the home page and for maximum
benefit it should be on every other page. It can also help
to add it to the checkout as a suggested item with each
purchase or as a bonus gift. This can catch people's eye
very good since they are likely to pay closer attention to
their order details then anything else on the website.

If the ebook is being given away for free this makes it
even easier to 'sell' to people. It should be obvious that
it is free. If a person sees something for free then they
are really likely to give it a second look and even sign up
for it.

Affiliate ebook marketing through a website is something
that everyone can do. A person probably already has a
website if they are into internet business and so it is
natural to add the affiliate ebook to the website. It is
also a free method of marketing. Free marketing options
should not be passed up.

It is easy to add the ebook to a website. All it takes is
a little time to put it up on the website and then there is
really nothing more to do. The whole process can be
automated just as other aspects of the website. It is a
free and fast marketing method.

In the search for ways to market an affiliate ebook a
person may easily overlook the obvious - their website.
While it may not seem to be the place to catch a lot of new
customers, it will still help to bring in some business.
Depending on the popularity and traffic of the website, it
could turn out to be the best marketing option.

Free Website traffic for Pink Cows and Purple pigs: Link building

For anybody looking to gain more free search engine
traffic, part of your effort will need to be working on
the area of link building. Offsite factors such as gaining
external backlinks, have shown to give proven results.
Unfortunately some webmasters actually confuse Google by
telling them and the other major search engines that that
sell "purple pigs" when actually they sell pink cows.

Then, as if to make things worse, they miss the human or
the "real factor". This was shown in a recent interview on
a Number 1 ranking site in a very competitive industry,
golf gifts. A search term that has over 20 million results
and an estimated 57,838 searches per month.

Lets consider a site that sells exclusive gifts, like pink
cows and purple pigs. They plan a linking campaign and
firstly aim at the first single keyword term "pink pigs"
and so they structure the link text and description as
follows:

"Pink Pigs" – All pink pig gifts - all sizes and shapes.

Using the anchor text "pink pigs"- to link back to the home
page. Now lots of effort goes into seeking the correct
links, aiming at this term. It progresses well and the
ranking is achieved to every ones delight- " Look a number
ranking for pink pigs! –we are really great!" – (large pat
on the back)

Then the term goes of in hunt for the second term – purple
cows and follows the same process. They achieve the same
results- however they have dissolved the anchor text of the
number of links and the first ranking achieved, slips. It
then becomes a juggling game to get the ranking for both
keywords.

Essentially the have Google "scratching its head" ….what is
this page/site really about?

So what is the better option so as avoid this- two options:

Deep linking- This is the linking to internal pages rather
than the home page, so in the first case, you would
generate links to this page as
http://www.thesite.com/pink-pigs.html

and then proceed to
do the exact same process for the other search term.

The downside of this is that it still does require
different linking campaigns takes time and splitting of
resources. A better option is that of combining and adding
the human factor, after all, Google provides results for
humans after all, and the quality of the results is high on
the agenda. In this case, you could create a better anchor
text and description such as:

"Purple Cow Gifts - Shop online for all manner of purple
cow and pink pig gift sets, with discount specials every
week"

This is also human friendly, and although its main aim is
top search engine ranking, it could be seen as a normal,
human based link. Include both the terms in the
description, and then on the actual site the title of the
home page makes sense. Then in the first paragraph on the
home page could mention both search terms as well as link
directly to those specific pages
(www.thesite.com/pink-pigs.html etc) this would make sense
to both the search engine spiders, used for finding and
displaying results, and to humans.

A site that has realised this, and has the results to show
it is thegolfcollection.com which has the number 1 ranking
for not only golf gifts but number 4 for golf accessories
out of 20 million results.

This sites planning and preparation prior to executing a
linking campaign will pay off for many years to come and
keep the competition scrambling to catch up.

For this reason, extensive keyword research is needed prior
to any linking campaign planned for SEO results, for both
the anchor text and the description.

An excellent tool for information on keyword research is
Aaron Walls keyword tool:

http://tools.seobook.com/general/keyword/

This tool should be used together with an Adwords Campaign
to gain the most accurate measure of the volume of searches
for your terms, before any SEO link building activities
take place.

Always keep in mind the human factor. You want people to
click on the link. It should appear to Google and the other
major engines that this the primary purpose of the link.
This SEO link building strategy will bring your success for
years to come and large amounts of free traffic your
competition would love to get there hands on. To your
success!
