How to make Money in this Economy!

How to make Money in this Economy!
Mark Twain once said, " to be successful, find out where
people are going...and get their first"

When you think about the economy, the real estate market
and the recession we are about to enter, experience and
history will tell us 2 things.

1) It doesn't last, so that's the good news...

2) It gets worse, before it gets better...that's the bad
news... unless you plan accordingly!

To get ready for this down turn in the economy, you need to
be in a place that is going to make you money...
essentially positioning yourself in a way to be able to
prepare for what history tells us is going to happen.

In the 1930's, when 15% of Americans were out of work,
causing the great depression, history has proven that more
people will look for additional income opportunities then
when times are "good". Home based, direct sales and
non-traditional (not brick and mortar) businesses flourish
during economically challenging times. For example, people
stood in line, outside the Alcoa Factory, hoping to get a
job selling their pots and pans...door to door. During the
depression, Alcoa's sales grew... why? Because more people
were willing to take on the opportunity, as a matter of
fact, the sales managers and early entrants in that
business, became millionaires during the depression because
they were positioned correctly.

Today, the internet will be the #1 source for people to
find these additional income opportunities...those who are
positioned correctly, will make HUGE incomes.

By getting in position with a company that can teach you
how to advertise these business opportunities, a way to
monetize the process and assist you in developing the
skills you need to succeed, you can capitalize on what is
about to happen.

The biggest concern most people have is being required to
call or sell to friends and family or even worse, cold
calling "leads"... plus everyone hates doing any kind of a
presentation when they are new at something. Face it
selling anything has been done the same way for year...
smile and dial ... and most people hate doing it, let alone
receiving those calls.

Recently innovate companies have developed ways to take
all of that "heavy lifting" out of the process, where their
sophisticated sales process, is totally automated and
online and it does all the selling for you. The affiliate
never makes a phone call, until the prospect has fully
enrolled and paid. This automated online process is so
powerful; people want to enroll, when they see how simple
it really is.

The winter months are "high season" for this industry. Now
is when people are normally looking, they want to save for
a summer vacation, next Christmas, college tuition or just
to make ends meet as a result of a disappointing year end
bonus. With the financial situation the country is in, the
number of those who are looking has doubled. You may be
one of them ... and there are many, many more. Those who
get in now, and can follow a simple "duplicate-able"
process, will make HUGE money in online internet
marketplace.

I wish you the best of success in the future.

How to Build a Thousand Name Mailing List

How to Build a Thousand Name Mailing List
I recently went to the movies, and they were showing slides
prior to the movie advertising various businesses. One of
the slides was an advertisement to advertise on the slide
show. It said simply, "without advertising something bad
happens .... nothing!" Having coached people in business
for many years, I'm often astounded at the fact that so few
people budget anything substantial for advertising and
marketing. The focus is always on fixtures, furnishings,
inventory and such, and by the time that's all done, there
just isn't anything left for advertising. But the business
owner rationalizes this by thinking that they have such a
beautiful store, such wonderful products or services, such
great staff that people will somehow just know about their
store and will want to shop there.

This is even more true for people who have virtual
businesses on the internet. They put their money into a
wonderful website, and then they just expect people will
find them and buy their products or services. Recent
estimates are that there are almost 30 billion websites on
the internet today. Consequently, the odds of anyone
finding your site just by putting it on the internet are
about the same as finding intelligent life on Mars. So, in
order to get visitors to your site, and more importantly,
to buy your product or service, you have to find a way to
get their attention. Once visitors make it to your site,
your job still isn't done. You have to turn them into
customers. Very few of your visitors will purchase from
you on their first visit. So the real catch is to get them
to come back. In order to do this, you need to get them to
give you their contact information to add to your list.
Once you have a list, then you can contact your visitors
and here is where you really have the opportunity to turn
them into customers. We'll talk in future articles about
how to build visitors into customers, but today, let's
focus on getting them to visit your site for the first time.

Currently, people who advise business owners on increasing
traffic tend to focus on five key areas. In future
articles, we'll hone in on each of these areas in great
detail. Here is an overview of the four key areas.

1. Search Engine Optimization. The first and most basic
tool to get people to notice your site is what is known as
search engine optimization, or SEO. SEO is the art of
making your website receive good ranking on the search
engines. So, when people use Google or Yahoo or MSN or any
of the other search engines, your website is in a high
ranking. The general rule here is that if you can get in
the top 5 or 10 websites listed on a search engine search,
you'll get a good percentage of the people searching that
term to click on your link. There are a great number of
tasks involved in search engine ranking, and you don't have
to be an expert at HTML or web development to get a good
ranking. In future articles, we'll discuss some of the
basics of SEO. In the meantime, if you would like to have
some links to resources to teach yourself SEO, write me or
visit my website.

2. Marketing Co-ops. Over the last few years, a number of
marketing co-ops have come into existence. Like any other
co-op, the idea is that a large number of people combine
resources to purchase goods at a discount. The good
marketing co-ops will get you a piece of the marketing
action for less that it would cost you to do all of the
marketing, and the co-op directors do a great deal of the
work for you. Keep in mind that all co-ops are not the
same. Some are much much better than others. Do some
research before you buy.

3. Pay Per Click (PPC) services. Even with great search
engine optimization, it's tough to get noticed above the
crowd, particularly if you are marketing a product or
service that there are lots of other people trying to sell
along with you. All of the major search engines have PPC
services in which you can purchase advertising on their
website, and you pay when someone clicks on your link.
Most allow you to budget how much you'll spend per month,
and to bid on clicks, which means the more you're willing
to pay, the higher placement the ad will get. PPC
services, while criticized by many, when done properly can
be the best of all marketing. Paying 50 cents or a dollar
for a click might be expensive, but you have to calculate
that in terms of what the profit will be for purchases from
your site. Much like SEO the art of picking proper key
words, picking proper search engines and budgeting properly
is an art, but one that can be learned.

4. Traditional advertising (non-internet). Don't overlook
the possibility of using more traditional advertising
methods to get visitors. As expensive as PPC can be,
advertising in newspapers, magazines, direct mail, radio,
and other forms of more traditional advertising can have a
big pay offs. 5. Paying for visitors. There are services
that promises to send visitors to your site. Many of these
are coupled with advertising co-ops. Many of these, while
they live up to their promises of sending visitors to your
site, often send untargeted visitors, and result in very
low conversion to customers. This isn't true of all
programs, but you must be very careful.

However you plan to market your products or services, you
must be systematic and skilled. Plan to put a great deal
of your first year's budget toward advertising just as
though you were starting a brick and mortar business.
Internet businesses are no different than any other kind of
business. Without advertising something bad happens for
business people ....nothing.

Four Questions Your Product Must Answer for a Customer

Four Questions Your Product Must Answer for a Customer
When you first buy something, whether you realize it or
not, you are asking questions about the product in your
head. These questions are used in the decision making
process of whether or not you are going to buy something
from a seller. If you are looking to start an online
business, you need to anticipate these questions for a
buyer so that you can be sure your customer is making the
decision to buy. Since you can't be physically present for
your customer to ask these questions, you need to ask them
of yourself first. Here are four questions that your
product needs to be able to answer for the customer.

What Will It Do for Me?

The use needs to be clear for your product. When you don't
specify the use or many uses of an item, the customer will
wonder why they even need to purchase it in the first
place. You will want to think about what the product is
going to do for the customer - you can even make a list.
Then, this list, or perhaps shorter descriptions, should be
on your website to guide the reader to the answers they are
looking for. Perhaps you can show pictures of how the
product can be used or you can have testimonials from
previous customers about how the item was useful in their
life as well. By clearly showing the usefulness and how
the product works (as well as its limitations), you will
increase the chances of it being sold in the first place.

How Will It Help My Life?

The question that many budget-conscious people are asking
is how the product will help in their everyday life. If
there isn't a clear benefit to the product, there is no
reason to buy it. You want to show that your product can
save time, reduce stress, increase health, or whatever it
is able to do. Show test results, statistics of satisfied
customers or perhaps even detail how the product helps you
in your life. For example, if you are selling vacuum
cleaners, you might want to talk about how the canister is
bag-less or that the HEPA filter is going to clean the air
from pollutants or allergens. Think about real life ways
that your product will change a customer's life.

Is the Price Reasonable?

Along with showing what and why a product does what it
does, you are establishing the value of the product for the
customer. If you aren't able to clearly show this
connection, you will cause a customer to wonder why they
should spend the money in the first place. The price you
set will begin to show the value that you see in your
product, but alongside the uses and the method of use, you
will truly begin to answer the customer's concerns about
whether the price is right.

Is this Product High Quality?

Of course, no one wants to buy anything that isn't high
quality. You want to buy something that will last a long
time, or at least as long as you will need to use it. In
order to show this, you will want to have clear pictures of
the products on your site as well as accurate listings of
the ingredients or the components of the item itself. This
will help your customer compare other similar products and
it will also help you demonstrate what a quality product
looks like to you.

The more questions you can think of before your customer,
the better prepared you will be to answer them.

Get Rich On The Internet

Get Rich On The Internet
Do you dream of getting rich on the internet? This article
contains some helpful pointers to get you started.

Many people often ask is it really possible to get rich on
the internet? The answer to that question is a definite
YES! Thousands of people are earning a substantial online
income each and every month. I am blessed to be one of
those online success stories earning a high five figure
monthly income.

While I always wanted to earn a massive monthly income
online, that's not the way that it starts out for most
people. The majority of want to be marketers are just
looking to make an extra $2,000-$3,000 per month. A
person's life could be significantly changed for the better
by not having to worry about paying the mortgage, car
payment, or buying groceries. The cost of living is
increasing and people are just looking to keep their heads
above water.

That is where the online opportunity comes into play. The
internet is a goldmine! There's no limit to what one can
achieve online. However, there are some key factors that
contribute to a person's success or failure online.

The goal of this article is to help point you in the right
direction. While I will not make any claims, I can assure
you that the information in this article has worked for a
lot of people online, including myself.

Making money online is not an exact science. There are a
number of great opportunities online. Some of them could
work for you, while others wouldn't be a good fit. The
question is where do you start?

Have A Plan

Take a moment to think about what it is that you want to
achieve online. What are your personal strengths and how
can you best utilize them to achieve your goals. Next, make
a plan of how you're going to reach your goals? Laying out
a road map, setting goals, and making plans are critical to
your success online. While they are important, you also
shouldn't get so wrapped up in the planning stages that you
fail to act. Planning is only effective if you're willing
to put the plan into action.

Find A Mentor

This person could be someone that you already know who has
been successful, or they could be the person that you
choose to join a program with. Whoever it is, just make
sure that they are knowledgeable in your area of interest
and have had some success in that area. A good mentor could
make all of the difference.

Take Action

The number one thing that you must do is to take action.
Some people say that knowledge is power. I tend to believe
that knowledge put into action is power! You have to
utilize both. Your goals and dreams of getting rich on the
internet will not be realized if you do not take action.
