Systems and Goals Make Your Home Business Successful

Systems and Goals Make Your Home Business Successful
A repeatable system is critical when choosing a business
model to follow. All you need to do is to look at
McDonalds, Subway, KFC / Taco Bell, - you name it, and they
all have a system which is repeatable and hugely
profitable. So what is it and how do they do it? It's
simple - hire kids. Costs are low; the work has a single
repeatable method with a training plan for every position.
It's that simple.

So now let's take any successful online
business...Microsoft, Google, Youtube, and more show up
every day. Why are they so successful? They all have a
system. They solve a problem for billions of people. Their
business model is efficient, well run and they keep their
costs low. They employee top notch people, sell massive
amounts of advertising to online marketers to offset
costs...they have a system.

So what do you see in common with all the founders and top
management in these companies? All are goal oriented and
they take MASSIVE action to achieve those goals. They have
a plan for all aspects of the business, and if something in
the plan fails they replace it with a new plan. How? They
analyze the data, make corrective action, test the new plan
and deploy. Having a goal allows them to constantly review
and correct. Why? Because to stay on top of their game,
continually striving to get better and get as much value
they can for their dollar.

So how does all this apply to you the home business owner?
First ask yourself do you have a plan? Or are you still
searching for that "new" online opportunity that will give
the freedom you've been looking for over the past how many
years. Have you set SMART goals? (Specific, Measurable,
Attainable, Realistic, Timely) Do you review them on a
regular basis? Do you make adjustments to those goals when
those goals have not been achieved? If you answered no,
then take a lesson from the big guys. They started small
once too.

So how do you do this? Start by getting organized. Stick to
a routine no matter what it takes. Don't let distractions
take over your daily activities. You can schedule your work
time and personal time to balance your life and make a
profitable business. If you find this hard to do, try
hiring a mentor or personal coach. This can be someone you
know and trust that will help you stay focused. Or it can
be someone who is knowledgeable in the industry you've
chosen. Either way, there will always be somebody out there
who can assist you with goal setting and the achievement of
them.

Now it's important to find an opportunity that offers you a
system. There are many of them out there. The key is to
find a product you believe and has all the system
components. The product should be something that provides a
service and needs the needs of your customers. These
attributes will ensure a solid core business that will pay
huge dividends to you forever. These systems should give
you support in the way of webinars, videos, email support,
phone/skype support and access to websites with a ton of
great information designed to make you a better marketer -
an online marketer. You really want a method designed to
exploit the new web 2.0 technologies which will enable you
to drive a ton of free traffic through consistent, daily
work.

There are many good business opportunities for the home
based business entrepreneur. Do your due diligence, and
then just get started.

How Can I earn Cash Online?

How Can I earn Cash Online?
I get asked all the time "how can I earn cash online?" Most
people believe it can't really happen, but in reality
people are striving to work from home more and more. It
gives you the ability to earn a decent wage without having
to disrupt your life too much, but it is not as easy as you
think.

As a beginner Internet marketer I am not proud to say that
I have been scammed many times. Why is it that I am making
this confession to you now? Well if you are anything like
me then you don't have money to burn and if this article
stops one person from being scammed then I will be happy.

So should I really be giving any advice? Well I have tried
more than enough programs to separate the good from the bad.

There are so many different people out there each trying to
push their own program, how do you find your way through
this minefield?

Gaining the ability to work from home would be a dream come
true for many. The Internet and a home computer has enabled
people who would never have dreamt of working from home to
start a home business. At one time you needed to buy or
rent premises to set up your own business and carry stock,
but times are changing very quickly. Remember though
working from home is a business and a proper job, and
should be treated as such or you will fail. It requires
dedication, commitment and drive and if you don't invest
these things into your home business you will still be
asking "how can I earn cash online?" 12 months down the
line.

So you ask "how can I make money online?"

Well there are several different ways

1:/ Paid Surveys, Cash back Websites

2:/ Drop Shipping and Wholesale

3:/ Adsense

4:/ Blogs

5:/ Affiliate programs

There are probably many more but out of the above my
favorite has to be affiliate programs. The perk being if you
are the referrer site (affiliate), you can make money with
no overhead (no product, no warehouse, no collection risk)

Affiliate programs are an ideal starting point for those
who wish to begin making money online. They are a way to
make money with or without a website without actually
owning a product. Affiliate programs are performance based
and you are paid for sending customers or traffic to a
website. Some pay a percentage of a sale and others pay per
sign up. Affiliate programs are a non multi level marketing
way to make money and should be free to join, if you are
asked to pay a fee stay clear, after all you are
advertising for the merchant. Affiliate programs are older
than the Internet and you can join some very reputable
companies.

Just remember if you set up your own business from home it
doesn't always mean more money than working for someone
else, but it can indeed provide freedom from the commute,
flexibility as generally if you have a laptop and Internet
connection you can work anywhere in the world, an ability
to choose the projects and type of work performed, and to
set working hours that fit the needs of the family.

7 steps To Design A Signup Form

7 steps To Design A Signup Form
Even if you're a genius in directing traffic to your site,
traffic alone won't make you any money.

If your visitors leave without making a purchase, your
traffic is as useful as a fork is to eat ice cream. And
unfortunately, only a very low percentage of online
visitors buy something on their first visit.

That's why you will have to make sure to draw them back to
your site, establish a trusting relationship and remind
them of the great products you're selling.

How would you do all this?

Use The Power Of The Signup form. The signup form is one of
the most critical elements of your website because it gives
you the tools to turn a visitor into a prospect.

The moment visitors complete a signup form, they give you
the permission and the ability to start a dialogue - a
long-term relationship that will hopefully translate into
sales down the road. That's why it's so important to design
a signup form that attracts your visitors enough so that
give you their name and email address.

It needs to offer value and create trust. Designing a
signup form might not be as exciting as creating animated
Flash movies or experimenting with different website
designs, but it is lot more critical to get right.

Signup forms are a very important online marketing tool and
usually form the gateway through which revenue is
generated. We've seen signup rates go up by 8% just with
simple tweaks to the design of our signup forms.

We'll share these tweaks with you in this tactic and show
you how to design a killer form.

Designing Forms that Convert Well

1. Keep Your Forms Short and To the Point Shorter forms
generally get higher completion rates. So strip your forms
down and ask for the absolute minimum amount of information
you need from your visitors. For subscription forms this is
often just a first name and email address. Sometimes you
might want to ask additional questions to gauge customer
views or collect marketing data. In this case you need to
be very careful. Is the additional information worth the
drop in sales you might create from expanding the length of
your form?

2. Mention Your Privacy Policy People are often reluctant
to give out their email on the internet. Stating a privacy
policy in simple terms can often boost form completion
rates.

3. Watch Your Submit Buttons Be careful not to create any
obstacles to the completion of a subscription. This is an
unwise thing to do. How often would one need to actually
clear a form this simple and start over? The problem with
the clear button is that a significant percentage of users
who are in a hurry will click on that button, see their
data get lost, and then give up in frustration. Remove all
CLEAR or RESET buttons. They don't help and can create
problems when clicked on by accident. To improve the form
above we would also suggest renaming the SUBMIT button to
something more meaningful. Never stick with the default
text "Submit." Change it to something like:
·"Subscribe Now for Free Training"
·"Get Your Free Report"
·"Claim Your Free Audio"

4. Make Your Form STAND OUT Often, your form constitutes
the core of your most wanted response on a page. In this
case the entire goal of the page is to get a visitor to
sign up. For pages like this the form should stand out like
a zebra on a subway train. It must draw the user's
attention.

5. Use Multiple Pages to Boost Signups on Longer Forms
Often, you may need to collect more data than just a
visitor's first name and email address. Yet, adding more
fields to a form usually causes a drop in signup rates. The
way to do both is to have a 2-step signup. In the first
step, you request only a first name and email address. In
the second step, you can ask for any additional data.

6. Always Place Your Form Above the Fold The form should
always be on the top fold of your web page. This is the
portion of the screen that appears in the average visitor's
browser window without having to scroll down. Make sure the
entire form is visible above the fold and that the submit
button does not fall below the fold on lower resolution
monitors.

7. Embed the Form in Multiple Sections of Your Copy In
addition to placing the form above the fold, be sure to
also place the form at the bottom of the page. It's a good
idea to place the form within several sections of the page
copy.

Your Competitors Can Be a Resource - Propose a Joint Venture with them

Your Competitors Can Be a Resource - Propose a Joint Venture with them
What do you think of when you hear the words ~ joint
venture? Do you think of large corporations working on
multi-million dollar deals? Or, you may see entrepreneurs
engaging in partnerships that can share some or all of the
following: intellectual property, assets, database,
knowledge, and last but not least, profits.

Managing a joint venture

It is important to remember that a joint venture is not a
merger, so there is no transfer of any kind of ownership.
However, it can be a good idea to outline what each party
is bringing to the table in the form of a legal agreement.
It can also be a good idea to outline what the purpose of
the joint venture is to help alleviate unspoken
expectations on the part of either party. There are joint
venture templates available online should you choose to
draw something up yourself. Most business people recommend
having a lawyer at least review your document to make sure
that you aren't inadvertently signing a portion of your
business away.

Creative joint venture relationships

Because a joint venture is not a merger, you can use joint
ventures in a variety of ways, particularly as a small to
mid-sized business. Joint ventures allow you to share
resources, not only with complimentary industries to your
own, but also with your competition. That is, of course,
if your competition is open to joint venturing. Naturally,
when you engage in a joint venture with your competitor,
you will want to make sure that you have fully protected
and proprietary information, but this type of relationship
can be fruitful.

Here is a real-life example of a competitive joint venture:
There were two staffing companies who combined resources
to woo a large client whom neither of them had the capacity
to service. Both owners knew and respected each other, so
they decided a joint venture might be in order. After
discussing the logistics of such a venture, it was decided
that they would each service a specific geographic area for
the client in order to prevent doubling up on staffing
assignments. Then, if one or the other could not service
the client's request in their area, they would pass the
business to the other agency. In this way, the client was
serviced at all times, and the two smaller companies were
able to gain a piece of the action in the big business
area. The venture worked so well that both companies
increased their profit margin by 30%. Realizing they could
do more with additional large clients, they quickly adopted
the joint venture philosophy as part of their overall
business plan. Guess what? It worked.

Again, it is possible to joint venture with your
competition if you're creative. What about a photographer
who has too much wedding business at a given time of the
year? By joint venturing with a competitor, it could be
possible to still make revenue; you do not turn away the
business because you can have the other photographer cover
the occasion.

Finding the right joint venture fit

Joint venturing with a competitor can be a scary
proposition. It's wise to know whom you are joint
venturing with, and how they normally conduct business. If
you have similar operating procedures, it could be worth an
exploratory meeting to see if a joint venture could become
a win-win for both businesses. A conversation never hurts.
Neither does a trial run. Above all, remember that the
key to a great joint venture is to communicate,
communicate, and communicate. You must communicate
expectations, operating procedures, timelines, and the
like. Who knows? If one competitive joint venture works,
you may find yourself building streams of revenue you never
would have imagined.

5 Easy Ways to Always Give Your Niche Something New

5 Easy Ways to Always Give Your Niche Something New
"Do I always have to come up with something new?"

This is a question I get asked often by my private clients,
and the answer is a resounding YES, if you want to continue
to grow your business.

Besides boring your target market after awhile, you'd get
bored, too, so yes, you want to breath some life into your
business by consistently coming up with new offers. This
helps keep your list interested, and it helps you stay
cutting edge in your market.

Here are 5 easy ways for getting and staying hot in your
market:

1. Be recognized...

Start showing up - in-person and/or virtually - at events
that are offered for your target market. Throw your own
events. Be seen on discussion lists and popular blogs where
your target market hangs out. Join the conversation, offer
your valuable insights and comments, ask good questions and
give good answers. Joint venture with your colleagues and
double your efforts with half the work. Join associations
made up of your peers and volunteer to be on a committee or
head up a project. There are loads of ways to build your
recognition in your market. Pick a couple and start doing
them NOW.

2. Be open to offering other's products...

If you've hit a creative low point, there's always the
option of offering someone else's product to your list.
It's still new and fresh material to them and a new offer
for you to make. Make a list of five of your colleagues who
each have a product offering that complements what it is
that you do and start building a relationship with them now
(if you don't have one already), so when you want to offer
thier product, they've gotten to know you and your business
a bit so they may be more willing to say yes to that kind
of strategic alliance.

3. Be more 'servicable'...

Take a fresh look at your service offerings. Write down
what they look like currently on one sheet of paper,
including all the features and benefits. One a separate
sheet of paper, write down how you'd like your services to
look, including all the features and benefits. You might be
surprised to find a real difference. Based on what you
discover, consider repackaging your current offerings in a
way that better suits you and your clients.

4. Be trendy...

Enter the conversation already going on in your client's
mind to spark new ideas. What are they reading, seeing on
TV, involved in right now in their world? What current
event or newsy item or popular TV show can you tie into
your sales copy for your offerings that will keep it fresh
and make stand out in an already crowded marketplace?

5. Be occasion-oriented

Tie a promotion into a holiday or special occasion. There's
hardly a week that goes by these days that doesn't have
some sort of celebration attached to it. Or you could make
up your own. For example, January (New Year's) and
September (Back-to-School) are great months for launching
new products, programs, or services that allow the client
to do, be and have better.

If you want to keep your clients and customers, keep them
interested. Always be offering them something new, either
in the way of a new product, program or services tailored
to their wants or by tweaking your current offerings to
keep them fresh and make them stand out in an already
crowded marketplace.

How To Give Your Product Away & Still Make A Fortune

How To Give Your Product Away & Still Make A Fortune
What is the secret of business success? You may think it is
to sell your product at the highest price to the most
people. Think again - you can actually make more money by
giving your product away!

The Secret of Successful Business

This is a technique which reveals the secret of practically
every successful business. It relies on repeat sales, built
up from the initial purchase of the product. The problem of
generating the initial purchase is overcome if the product
is free, so eventually you should be left with legions of
loyal customers and you can hardly fail to make a fortune.

The Benefits of Repeat Sales

Before we explain this in more detail, take the example of
Coca Cola - a company whose business has been based on the
success of basically one drink. How far would the company
have grown if they had sold a can to everyone in the world,
but nobody bought another one?

The success of the company is, of course, built on repeat
sales. Coca Cola drinkers don't just buy one can, they buy
lots of them, over years and years. The success of the
business depends on gaining a customer, providing them with
a product they are satisfied with, and then reaping the
benefits of repeat sales.

Brand and Company Loyalty

This doesn't just apply to consumable, low cost items. A
motorcar is a very expensive purchase, and an infrequent
one. Yet the fortunes of motor manufacturers are dependent
on selling not just one car to a customer, but several over
their lifetime.

Why does the Ford company continue to prosper, and why is
the Ford Escort still a number one seller? Those with rose
tinted spectacles would like to think it is because Ford
produce the best, most reliable car with the greatest range
of features and benefits, at the best price. Most
independent observers would differ from this view, pointing
to the cars coming from Japan and Europe.

At one time, however, Ford did produce this type of car,
and this is the point. Once customers start to buy from a
supplier they are notoriously hard to move. Put simply, if
they bought Ford last time they are likely to buy it again,
irrespective of any arguments to the contrary . The Initial
Sale

The phenomenon of brand and company loyalty is very
important and explains why companies spend such huge sums
of money in order to persuade someone to try out their
product. The initial sale forms only part of the benefit of
advertising, and is often little more than incidental. If
MacDonalds only encouraged people to enter their
restaurants once, never to return, their advertising
expenditure would be wasted and they would quickly go out
of business.

Gaining Customers

So what does this mean to you? Whatever business you are
in, it is likely that it actually costs you money to gain a
customer. There may well be no profit in the initial sale,
which will be swallowed up in marketing costs, whether
advertising, direct mail, telesales, personal
representation, or whatever.

The fact is that this initial sale is crucial, in order to
make subsequent sales which make a profit. Or is it?

Giving your product away, in the context of the above,
seems to make sense.

Here is an example. Assume that you produce and market a
food supplement which sells by mail for £5. Your
product cost is 75 pence, and postage and packing another
50p. The gross profit margin is quite high, although this
will be eroded by advertising costs when trying to attract
new customers. It could cost between £5 and £10
to attract the new customer, which you would hope to make
back when people re-order the product.

Here's an alternative - offer the product free of charge.
The cost to you including postage and packing is
£1.25........ much less than it would cost to make a
'sale'. Also, the take up rate will be far higher. You will
have a massive database of people who have now sampled your
product, and hopefully benefited from it.

Advertise For Free

You may have spotted a flaw in this argument. What about
advertising costs? You still have to inform potential
customers that they can have a sample for free. Well, yes
you do, but you don't necessarily have to pay for it. Get
others to do it for free.

Here is just one way of doing it. A recent copy of The Mail
on Sunday carried an article about a young man who had
built his video tape business to a turnover in excess of
£2 million using this method. One of the main methods
he had used to achieve this was giving away his product
free.

For example, a series of his products was aimed at anglers.
He contacted one of the major angling magazines and told
them that he had several thousand videos to give away to
its readers. They were naturally delighted, because being
able to make such an offer helps to sell magazines. The
magazine featured the offer heavily and it was a tremendous
success.

Although the initial result was a cost incurred, the
entrepreneur was able to enclose literature promoting
associated videos with the free one. This resulted in many
thousands of pounds worth of sales.

Potential Uses and Spin-offs

You will probably be able to think of many potential uses
and spin-offs from this technique. It can be adapted to
many different products and markets. Perhaps you have
something to sell which could benefit from this approach.

Don't forget the next time you are pondering over how to
sell more of your product, consider giving it away instead.
It's a lot easier and it could definitely be more
profitable in the long run.

e-Commerce and On Demand Authoring

e-Commerce and On Demand Authoring
Many independent musicians and filmmakers, trainers or self
help authors doing DVD authoring or CD production are
looking for ways that they can handle their own CD or DVD
production and orders for their work by adding e-commerce
components to their websites for an online store. The
entire process can be cumbersome, confusing, and expensive.
However, there is a new On Demand concept which allows for
CD and DVD duplication, production, manufacture and sale of
an artist's work on an as needed basis. This allows you to
sell your products one at a time and ship to anyone
worldwide. It also helps independent artists with cash flow
because the orders are not billed until the end of the
month, long after the orders have been placed and paid for
by customers.

Today it's much easier to integrate an online storefront
with all the features for order processing. This allows
creative people the time to be creative and produce as
opposed to worrying about their website and e-commerce. But
the challenge is that an online store is not something you
can set up and manage by yourself easily. That's why you
should look for a trusted provider of online store
solutions.

Online stores are rather complex with layers that require
implementation, from the web copywriting and design
aspects, to branding the online storefront, and to choosing
and adding shopping cart functionality, and finally the
search engine optimization and marketing required to help
people to search and find your website. Then there is
merchant account creation for MasterCard and Visa or other
credit card providers, content protection, privacy and
security issues of both your content and the customers'
privacy, managing the downloads, backend software
integration, database management, selling, fulfillment and
delivery. And that does not even include the fact that you
must keep track of accounting, taxes and order processing,
and possibly be set up for international currencies, laws
and languages.

The best On Demand e-commerce solutions are fully hosted
online storefronts that include a store wizard that makes
it easy for you to set up and maintain. There's also fraud
protection, buyer care, and marketing tools like affiliate
responders, that help you to communicate with and manage
your customers so they will come back to your online store.

Ultimately the Internet offers many new opportunities for
commerce, but with it comes vast competition, so it is also
important to make sure that customers can find your online
store in the first place. That's why your e-commerce
solution provider should also include search engine
optimization for that purpose.

In the end, the costs associated with On Demand DVD
authoring production and distribution will mean no-hassle
e-commerce and it is a really easy way to make your
business more productive and profitable.

Features of good partnership programmes

Features of good partnership programmes
What does "a good partnership programme" mean? It certainly
means a programme that can bring you financial benefits.
It's true. But what exactly makes a given PP better than
others?

Commission Trap

Which partnership programme seems more attractive to you -
the one that offers you 5 % commission or the one offering
20%? The first answer that comes to your mind is: "it's
obvious that the latter! A higher commission means bigger
profits at a lower cost and in a shorter time!"

Be careful, though. The 5 % commission in the first example
is indeed not much, but thanks to other advantages (that
will be discussed later on) such a programme can turn out
to be a lot more interesting.

Commission IS important, since, to some extent, it
determines the amount of money you earn. Don't make a
critical mistake and don't choose the PP only on the basis
of the commission it offers. Other factors are equally
important.

Cookies and the role of them in PP

Cookies are small files saved on a user's computer. Among
other things, they are used to identify an Internet user
during further visits on websites.

In partnership programmes, cookies are used to assign an
Internet user to a given partner. I will explain it using a
simple example:

1. Mr. X visits a website about science-fiction literature.
He reads a book review and decides to buy the book. At the
end of the review, the author placed a partnership link to
the Internet bookstore where you can get the book. Mr. X
clicks on it.

2. When he enters the bookstore site, a cookie with the
partner's identificator is saved on his computer. Mr. X
does not yet decide to make a purchase - he decides to do
it the next day. He turns off the computer and goes to
sleep while the cookie remains on his computer.

3. Mr. X gets up in the morning and remembers that he was
supposed to order the book. He enters the bookstore site
(this time directly without using the partner's site), he
finds the desirable item and, after a while, he orders it.

4. Mr. X collects the package, pays for it, and delves into
the book. And what about the partner? He is glad - he
charged a commission for the sales of a book!

As it can be seen, cookies are highly beneficial for
partners. Thanks to cookies, the effort of a partner is not
wasted - he gets a commission, even if the customer buys a
product a few days or weeks later.

CnebPoints partnership programme is based on an extended
cookie system. One may find an exact description of the
system on the programme's website - it is worth reading,
especially that the programme is very good.

The form of cooperation - a link, or perhaps something else?

Generally, we can distinguish two basic forms of
cooperation - a reference link - the partner receives a
link with a special code, and a form - the partner receives
a ready to use website or its fragment.

Let us consider now the advantages and disadvantages of
both solutions.

A partnership link is much more convenient - it is
sufficient that a partner "disposes" a user to click on the
link. The moment the user clicks, the role of the partner
is over.

A form is a more time-consuming solution for a partner -
s/he often must put a lot of effort into adjusting the form
to her/his site. On the other hand, a potential customer
cannot skip the partner when purchasing a product - he just
does not know that the partner represents another company.

The connection of a partnership link with cookies
(mentioned above) is becoming more and more popular. Such a
solution eliminates to a large degree the problem of
skippig the partner when purchasing a product. Thanks to
the presence of cookies, the partner receives a commission
due even if a customer returns to the company's website
again after a long time.

"Partnership link + cookie" is a form of cooperation that
is classified high in my personal ranking. Such a solution
is still not very common, though. Therefore if you are to
choose between a simple partnership link and a form, choose
the latter.

If you do not have a choice and the PP you chose offers
only a simple partnership link, do not renounce it! Such a
solution can also help you achieve good results. You just
have to persuade a visitor that the product you recommend
is worth purchasing at first attempt. :-)

Levels - one, two, or maybe more?

In a the two-level partnership programme, you receive also
a commission from the income of the partners that you have
recommended. There can be more levels - then, obviously,
you receive a commission from the earnings of the partners
that have been recommended by the ones that you have
recommended...

I know from experience that the income within the
partnership programme depends on how much YOU manage to
sell. Commissions from the income of the partners you
recommend can be a nice bonus but you MUST concentrate on
effective cooperation on selling and not on searching for
new partners.

It's simple - Promote the PRODUCT and not the PROGRAMME,.

Paid PP - sometimes it is worth paying In some cases, if
you want to take part in a PP, you need to invest. It can
be e.g. buying a subscription or purchasing a company's
product.

CnebPoints partnership programme by Piotr Majewski requires
paying a subscription for access to his CzasNaE-Biznes
service. The programme is excellent, so it is worth doing
it - especially that "CzasNaE-Biznes" is the best database
on e-business and e-marketing (also in partnership
programmes) in Poland.

@VirtualCorporation partnership programme is also paid - if
you want to participate in it, you need to buy a www
server. I decided to use @VC servers long time ago and I
have no plans to renounce it - they are simply very good
and they measure up to my expectations. I consider their
partnership programme the best in its category.

If you find a good partnership programme that suits you and
if it is not free - pay for the opportunity to use it.

Product Base - can you sell it? And last, but not least,
the most important feature of PP. You MUST, MUST, (...),
MUST choose the PP that offers you such products/services
your visitors will be interested in.

Imagine you run a website for Eskimos (well...ok, I could
have come up with something better). You find an excellent
PP - 50% commission (very high), extended cookie system,
lack of any registration or participation fees, two
levels... You join it, put the links on the website and
wait. You wait and wait...and nothing happens. Absolutely
nothing. Unfortunately, the partnership programme is run by
a company producing and selling ice. There is a saying...

"You can't sell ice to Eskimos." Period.

You can make really big money using a programme that offers
you 2% commission and simple partnership links (without
cookies) - but it has good products that your customers
will be interested in. Therefore, it is so important to
prepare a profile of your perfect visitor - only when you
know who and what he/she is like, can you select an
appropriate PP and promote the chosen products or services
effectively.

Setting Up 30 Profitable Niche Websites In 30 Days

Setting Up 30 Profitable Niche Websites In 30 Days
Copyright 2008 by Willie Crawford

While we all dream of building that website that will be a
home run, and make us rich, here's an easier way to
establish a dependable income stream.

It's a lot easier to set up a simple website that generates
just $10 - $20 profit per day. Imagine if you had 100 of
these. That would be $1000 - $2000 per day. That would be
$365,000 - $730,000 per year. Now that $10 to $20 per site,
per day, doesn't sound so small does it.

This is sort-of like own a vending machine route. The route
owner realizes that no one of his machines is likely to
make him wealthy. However, week after week, the cumulative
sales from a route of... say 100 machines... provides a
very nice living for him and his family. I do know people
who own vending machine routes, and they do earn above
average incomes.

Getting back to setting up these website "vending
machines." It doesn't have to be very complicated. In
fact most of us make things so complicated in our minds
that we never even get started.

Let me give you a plan for setting up one site a day over
the next month. We need to get you to commit to yourself
that you won't make excuses. We need to get you to commit
to yourself that you won't look for reasons why it "might
not work." Instead, you need to decided that it can work,
and then just do it.

Here is your fast and easy plan for the next 30 days:

1) Identify 30 profitable niches, or topics, that you can
build a simple website around. To make it really simple,
these can be websites of only a few pages. I'd recommend a
homepage which can be a direct sales page, or a blog. Off
to the side you can post some articles related to your
topic that you can write yourself, or find on a site like
EzineArticles.com The articles, or blogs, are "search
engine bait" and are what will bring in free traffic for
you.

2) Locate 30 products that you can market from these
websites. Ideally, these will be digital products that you
earn a very high commission on. To make that even easier,
let me GIVE you 30 products that you can (with just a
little reworking) market as your own new and unique
products.

Go here, and grab at least 30 private label rights
products, with totally unrestricted private label rights:
http://TheRealSecrets.com/Free-Private-Label-Rights.html

You'll be able to sell these products as is, just by
putting your name on them, but I recommend spending an hour
or two: - Renaming each one - Creating, or having created a
new graphic for each one - Doing minor edits to each one

3) Register 30 keyword-rich domain names at your favorite
registrar. You can register all 30 at one time, or do one
at a time.

4) Get a very inexpensive hosting account with lots of disk
space and lots of bandwidth. HostGator at:
http://TheRealSecrets.com/CheapestHosting/

will give you unlimited domains on one account for only
$7.95 per month. If you put 30 domains on the account that
first month, that's only 26 cents per site in hosting
fees. As you add more accounts later, the per-site fees
drop to practically nothing :-)

5) Set up your homepage on each domain and use that to
promote your product. My personal technique is to make the
homepage a WordPress blog where I periodically post
articles, reviews or comments pertaining to the topic. You
also want to post a review of your product. In the menu
bar you want to post a prominent link for ordering your
product.

If you do make your homepage a blog, you also want to set
up another direct sales pages, on the same domain, whose
only purpose is to sell the product.

Each time that you post to your WordPress blog it will
"ping" the search engines, notifying them that you've
updated your site, and the search engine spiders will come
and re-index your entire site.

On a semi-regular schedule you want to post to your blog.
Those posts can just be a new article, or really...
anything pertaining to your topic.

6) To "plug in" additional traffic you want to write short
(400 - 1000 word) articles on your topic, or product
reviews, and submit those to article directories. In the
resource boxes of those articles, link back to your
homepage. People reading those articles will click through
to your site, and the search engine will also follow those
links back to your site.

This is a very simple formula that DOES work. I use it
regularly. Please don't over-complicate things.

You basically need a product that solves a pressing
problem, and you need to make it easy for those who want
it to find and purchase it. I've just told you how to do
that, and I've told you how to do it for practically
nothing.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is simply to
decide to make today the day that you start taking
responsibility for your own success. It's to DECIDE that
today is the day that you drop all excuses.

The easiest starting point really is to grab the free PLR
products that are in step-2. That will point you in the
direction of some proven profitable niches. Get those now:
http://TheRealSecrets.com/Free-Private-Label-Rights.html

To me this plan is simple and do-able. However, I also
realize that you may want to go at it more slowly. If
that's the case, it's ok to put out just a few vending
machines this week... but do get started. It's far too easy
to put it off, and then drift back into that world of
excuses and talking negative to yourself.

You're not going to allow that to happen - are you?

Get started now.

In case you're wondering how the $10 - $20 per day comes
into the equation, that's an average figure per site, which
actually means that most of your sites will not even need
to average a sale every day. You'll only need to average a
sale ever 3 - 4 days with many of your sites. That's even
easier, isn't it?

Internet Home Based Business Opportunity Scams

Internet Home Based Business Opportunity Scams
If you browse around enough online it appears that
everyplace you click, you're overwhelmed with promotional
material advising how to make more money than you do right
now. The majority of these ads state that you'll make more
money for performing tasks that are effortless and
non-eventful. What most advocates of home business scams
aren't willing to tell you is that it's going to require
working for many hours before you earn a single dime.

Scams are essentially gimmicks to absolve you of money or
belongings, by deceit. In simplest terms you are forking
over money or articles of commerce for something that: 1.
Is nonexistent 2. Does not function 3. Is of exceedingly
low quality and/or value 4. Immensely overstates the
performance and claims of the products/services 5. Never
belonged to the vendor and there's no authorization to sell
it 6. Often carry hidden costs with them

The most essential thing you can do to steer clear from
being scammed while looking for a home based business
opportunity is to execute your calculated research
patiently. Several home business scams are constructed to
influence you to sign up right away while the questions you
need to be asking are not evident to you. A number of
internet users who purchase items online frequently rely on
their emotional responses instead of precisely dissecting
the product or opportunity with their common sense thinking.

Some upfront logical items to complete or ponder before
sending money: Ask for all of the initial investments
necessary to get involved in the program; to clarify
exactly what you get in return for your money. You should
request or have access to comprehensive disclosure about
the company, the products and the opportunity. The
communication with the company offering the home business
opportunity should be easy and not forced or hurried.
Perform standard market analysis to determine if the
opportunity will attract customers. A well-established and
superior home business opportunity will actually answer
these inquiries for you.

It's vital to not get carried away with the hype and
promises that you can earn your money quick and easy, but
not every home business opportunity is a scam. If a person
learns the proper way to utilize their website on the
internet they can look forward to generating a consistent
stream of leveraged income online. On certain occasions it
requires months or even years of persistent marketing to
see some money; however, there is tangible money to be
created with an internet home based business.

Most people who complete their due diligence of research
and investigating can ensure that they're not missing an
extraordinary opportunity to develop an internet business
that has real meaning to their financial futures.

5 Steps to Planning Your Podcast

5 Steps to Planning Your Podcast
Podcasting can be time consuming and often frustrating,
especially when you are under-prepared and ill-equipped for
what you are setting out to achieve. In order to smooth out
the bumps in the ride, it's always a good idea to be as
prepared as you possibly can before you sit down to create
your podcast. If you're too eager to get your voice
recorded before you've laid the groundwork you can often
get into a pickle and the show you had in mind just doesn't
come off as planned.

Get into the habit of following the 5 steps below so that
there'll be less time spent pulling your hair out and more
time spent getting a great business podcast out into
cyberspace.

Step 1 - Email participants and permission requests in
advance.

You've had a great idea for a show where you're going to
interview some successful business owners and use a clip of
one who podcasts himself. If you plan to record your show
on Thursday afternoon, don't expect you can get away with
requesting interviews and permissions on Wednesday and
still record your show, as planned, the next day.

People are busy and their time is precious. Always be one
step ahead of yourself in thinking about who you'd like on
your show and ask for permissions way in advance of
recording. Always have back-up ideas too, just in case you
just can't get to people in time.

Step 2 - Choose clips and interviewees before writing the
scripts/planning your links.

If you intend to take extracts from the interviews to add
in between links or even extracts from other people's
shows, it's a good idea to know which clips you'd like to
use before you go ahead and write the script. This means
you can then write the script in a way that introduces what
participants are going to say or you could comment on what
they've said at the end of the clip.

Step 3 - Have a script.

Lots of would-be podcasters feel 100% confident that they
know what they're going to say and intend to have a slick,
fluff-free delivery. Well, you know what they say about the
best laid plans of mice and men? It's a really good idea to
have a script of some description so that your points
follow a rational and well thought out process and your
listeners get maximum value out of your podcast. You don't
have to write a detailed script and then reel it off word
for word if you think this will make you sound wooden (most
non-professional broadcasters would have difficulty making
it sound otherwise), it's more about knowing what you're
going to say, knowing how your points are going to pan out
and, if you have guests, having a few notes about them and
the kind of questions you could ask them.

Imagine introducing your guest and their name goes
completely out of your head. A set of notes or a script
will stop this from happening and make you feel more
comfortable, much in the way crib notes help you stay
relaxed when giving a presentation.

Step 4 - Prepare yourself.

This may sound like an obvious preparation step but it's
one that many neglect. Imagine getting up in the morning
and everyone is out of the house; there's nobody to talk
to. You go into your office or studio and switch your mic
on, ready to record your podcast. You clear your throat a
little and then start. How do you sound ? A bit like a
zombie from Night of the Living Dead? So, what to do
instead? Talk out loud or sing to loosen up the vocal
chords, do some stretches and breathing to loosen up the
body. Have a warm drink (but avoid milk as it clogs up the
sinuses) and, last but not least, put a dab of lip balm on
your lips (yes, it's so that they move smoothly over one
another when you speak, reducing any unwanted noises).

Step 4 - Prepare your environment.

An essential element in making sure your podcast runs
smoothly is to prepare your environment as well as you can.
Turn off any phones that might disturb you, 'dampen' your
room as much as you can (I know of someone who records
under the desk with a blanket draped over it), make sure
you have everything you need.

If possible, try not to time your recording to coincide
your with the time the cats need feeding or your spouse
will be home. Take care to ensure you will have as much
peace as possible.

Following these 5 steps will go a long way to ensuring you
get your voice into the heads of your target audience as
smoothly and painlessly as possible.

5 Keys To A Thriving Internet Business

5 Keys To A Thriving Internet Business
Your dream may be to have a thriving internet business.
Perhaps you have a small internet business now. Perhaps
you have tried a few online 'programs' that didn't work.
Perhaps you are just starting to look into what's available.

This article isn't going to tell you which program to try
or which 'get rich quick' scheme will work---but what it
will do is give you the essential keys to developing a
long-term successful internet business.

Unfortunately, 'get-rich-quick' schemes and fast-start
programs and the like, are not geared towards your
long-term success. They are geared towards making money
for the guy that sells it to you.

Keys to Starting a Successful Internet Business:

Key 1) You must have something that is based on real sales
and real value. You cannot develop long-term success
online with the various pyramid and ponzi schemes online.
Your avenue for success online must be grounded in selling
something that other people want.

Key 2) You must develop an online presence. You need a
web site and an auto responder with which to communicate to
your leads. Do not think you can subscribe to some system
and use their program and simply sit back and make money.
If that were possible, the whole world would be rich by
now, right?

Key 3) You must be willing to commit x number of hours
online working everyday. It can be 1 hour or 8 hours, but
it must be an unbreakable commitment. You must be
consistent. If you are not, then when things get boring or
sales don't happen, you take a few days off. Before you
know it, you aren't making enough money online, but it is
not because you haven't started right, but because you
didn't finish what you started.

Key 4) You must be committed to the long-haul. Internet
marketing expertise and income does not come quickly to
most people; however, if you stick with it, once you figure
it all out, the success will continue to come in. Things
tend to build momentum slowly on the web, but once they are
unleashed, the income can be long-term. You must work
really hard at the front end to make continued, real income
on down the road.

Key 5) You must invest in your education. I do not mean
go out and spend 10s of thousands of dollars buying books
and programs you will never use. But you weren't born
knowing how to make money online. Others who have learned
the hard way have written books and programs to teach you
what to do and how to do it fastest and most efficiently.
Be willing to spend some money on your education.

These five keys may seem really simple, and have nothing to
do with the latest fads and crazes online, but by following
these keys you can be successful at just about anything
online.

How to Create Attention-Grabbing Headlines Part 2

How to Create Attention-Grabbing Headlines Part 2
An effective headline should be well integrated with your
website's focus and allow you to direct the eyes of your
customers to where you want them to go. When it comes to
creating a headline that demands attention, there is no set
formula. But here's what most experts recommend.

First, study the competition and read existing headlines on
the web to get a sense of what works, from successful
ecommerce websites, and from direct marketing ads you might
be getting through the mail.

When you've gotten a good idea of some of the existing
headlines out there, get a pad and pencil and start making
a list of at least 50 headlines that might apply to your
product.

Don't worry about nailing it just yet, instead just write
down whatever comes to mind. You will refine and test your
headlines later. To start, analyze your customers and ask
yourself:

·What do they care about most?
·What is the biggest problem they face?
·How can you help them solve it? And most importantly - How
are they finding your site? What Google search terms are
they using? Are you answering their search query with your
headline?

If you find yourself getting stuck, realize this: most top
copywriters don't come up with their own headlines. They
copy them.

Top copywriters know certain set formulas work and they
simply apply these formulas to their products... over and
over again. Here's one example of a set formula. How to
_____ and _____.

This is the formula used by Dale Carnegie for his
best-selling book "How to Win Friends and Influence People."

You can apply this formula to just about any product.
Selling job hunting services? How about this headline "How
to Enjoy Your Career and Earn More Money." Selling exercise
equipment? How about "How to Look Great and Feel Young
Again."

Copywriter David Garfinkel offers the following advice:
"Behind the title and headline is a secret code that makes
it powerful.

The secret code is actually a generic formula that gets
attention and creates desire in your prospect's mind. Every
winning headline has a unique generic formula hidden
inside." Here are some other formulas you can use. Each of
these work on the "secret code" principle.

·Who Else Wants to ___________ ? For example: "Who else
wants to Learn the Secrets of Ecommerce Success?"
·Revealed: The Secret to ____________. For example:
"Revealed: The Secrets to Learning Foreign Languages
Quickly."
·22 Reasons You _________________. This example uses the
word "reasons" and provides a specific number for
credibility. For example, "22 Reasons You Should Be Testing
Your Headline Today."
·Don't Do ________ Before You Do __________. This example
grabs the reader with a warning. For example, "Don't buy
any Autoresponder Software Before You Read this Article."

In addition to the formulas above, a second strategy is to
develop a longer headline that clearly spells out the key
benefit of your product. This is the type of headline
commonly used by Internet guru Armand Morin.

Here are some headlines used to sell his products. Notice
how each headline clearly spells out the key benefit of his
product.

·Create Cash Producing Sales Letters. The same Kind of

·What If You Could... Hire a World-Class Graphics Designer
Who Would Create Amazing eCovers For You 24 Hours A Day 7
Days A Week For Only a One-Time Low Payment?

Learn from the 100 best headlines ever written, compiled by
Jay Abraham Once you have your preliminary list of
headlines written down, (and remember, you can do this over
several days - we don't expect you to wrack your brain
doing it in one sitting) take a break, relax, and forget
about them.

The very next day, take a fresh look at the headlines you
wrote. Cross out as many as you can until you're down to 20
or so. If you think of better headlines, add them. Then
once again, take a break and forget about them.

Again, on the next day, look at your list and further
reduce the list to 5 - 10 headlines. Now you're done with
the first step and ready to move to the second step. The
testing of your headlines. Now the fun begins.

Four Things to Do if Your Traffic Numbers Drop

Four Things to Do if Your Traffic Numbers Drop
When you're trying to run an online business, you need to
be aware of your traffic counts at all times. These are
the counts of how many people are visiting your website on
any given day. The more people you have visiting your
site, the more likely it will be that your profits will
also go up. So, it's essential that you not only monitor
these numbers, but also become concerned when you see a
sudden drop in the traffic counts. Here are the four
things you should do when you see your traffic numbers drop.

Check the Site

Before you begin to panic, you will want to try to pull up
your own site to see if you can see it. If you can easily
pull it up, there maybe nothing technically wrong with it.
Check the content next to see if something was placed onto
your site unintentionally or if anyone hacked your website
and made it completely different from what you meant your
site to look like. Take a few minutes to go over all of
the main pages of your site and then see if you can get
into your site as a customer would. If everything looks
okay, you might have other problems you need to work on.

Call the Web Host

If you can't access your site, but you can access other
websites, the problem may lie in the services of your web
host. If the server is down, you will not be able to
access the site, causing your customers to not be able to
access it as well. When a web host server goes down often,
the traffic counts will begin to drop as the customers
become more wary of whether your site will be available.
Or, if there is a sudden drop in the numbers, you might
simply need to get the server repaired or your information
switched over to a backup server so that it can be
broadcast to your customers. When your web host is
crashing more often than it should, you need to start
looking for a new web host.

Look Back Over Changes You've Made

When a sudden drop in your traffic occurs, you might want
to stop to think about what changes you've made recently.
Did you change your prices? Did you change your images?
Any sort of changes might be the reason for your change in
traffic count. When your customers are accustomed to
certain features on your site or certain menus, it might
take them a while to get used to them - or the drop in your
counts might be a sign that they simply don't like what
you've done at all. To respond to this situation, you
might want to change your site to its original format and
see what happens to the traffic counts then.

Wait it Out

But sometimes, there is simply no rhyme or reason to the
traffic counts dropping - they just do. And if you can,
simply wait it out to see what happens over the course of
the next week. If your site is up and running and it's
still working the way it should, you might simply be
experiencing a temporary shift in the market, which will
eventually turn around. When you're still getting new site
visitors and old customers, you might just need to wait it
out until things get back to normal. Perhaps there's a new
site that just started and that is drawing attention to
itself for the moment. Once customers realize that you are
still the better business, they'll be back.
