Selling Information Products- The Fast and Easy Way To Make Money On eBay

Selling Information Products- The Fast and Easy Way To Make Money On eBay
Many people are making huge profits selling on eBay, but
one of the major difficulties faced by any eBay seller at
one point or another is finding a good product to sell on
eBay. There are certain characteristics that have to be
fulfilled by the product to make it a good product, which
can be sold with minimal fuss, and maximum profits. The
product should show characteristics like being highly
profitable, being in unlimited supply, easy and cheap to
deliver, and it should have little or no competition. You
will be hard pressed to find any physical products that can
meet all, or even most of the above criteria. But one thing
that meet all these criteria are information products that
can be sold in a digital format over eBay.

Information is most sought after on the internet. After
all, it is not called the information highway for no
reason! For most users, the internet means a vast
storehouse of information. This is precisely the reason why
everyone turns to Google if they want to know about
something. While more common and generalized information is
available for free, people are also looking for more
specific and rich information. In most cases, people do not
shy from paying for it, provided they get their money's
worth. Information can be such which can help people,
educate them, solve their problems, or even entertain them.

Various types of information products that you can sell on
eBay are-

# eBooks, as well as printed copies.

# Access to special web pages where the user can find the
desired information.

# Membership for private web sites where members can access
a continuous stream of rich and exclusive information.

# Videos; VHS, DVD or streaming videos viewed on a web page.

# Audio files on tape or CD, or as online downloads in the
form of mp3 files.

# Pod Casts.

# Software programs.

# Rich, high-quality digital photographs, which can be
printed and framed.

# Combinations of printed and electronic material.

# Original music, art and photography delivered digitally.

Information products are usually very easy to create, and
carry a huge profit margin. This is especially true for
digital products, where you do not need to physically ship
the product. One of the reasons that keep people from
online shopping is the steep shipping charges, and the
hassles associated with it. Thus, digital products receive
larger response as compared to their physical counterparts.
Moreover, as you do not have to buy every physical product,
pay for shipping, maintain and control inventory. This
means, you can keep all the money you receive as your
payment. Thus your profit margin can jump from 20-30% to
almost 100%! Such business requires you to have little or
no set-up, and thus you save a lot on capital cost, and
regular bills.

Drawing a Map to Your Site: Keyword Research

Drawing a Map to Your Site: Keyword Research
Basically, keyword research provides the foundation for the
map your consumers will use to find your site when they
need it! Popular search engines search and index millions
of sites everyday. Your goal in keyword research is to
attach the right keywords to your site that search engines
will cue and deliver to your consumers.

For example, let's say you are looking to buy a new set of
coffee mugs. In a popular search engine, you will probably
type something such as "coffee mugs". However, some
consumers may type "coffee supplies" or "coffee gifts". If
you own a coffee mug website, and have only attached the
words "coffee mug" to your site, those consumers who typed
something different will not immediately see your site in
the search engine results. This wastes time and money in
your internet marketing campaign.

So how do you create an effective keyword list? First, you
can always pay someone. There are thousands of companies
out there that specialize in internet marketing keyword
research. But keep in mind that no one knows your business
better than you!

If you are creating your own list, there are some easy
steps to follow for a successful internet marketing
campaign. First, come up with a small list covering the
various services and products you can deliver. The key at
this step is to not be too generic! If you use words that
are too generic, then your site will not rank high in
search engines. Take our coffee mug example. If one of your
main words is "cup", then you're being too generic.
Instead, a term like "buy new coffee mug" would be much
more fitting. Don't be afraid to break out the thesaurus
either!

Another confounding factor of keyword generation is that
you don't want your site reaching the wrong consumers! If
you own a coffee mug website, you don't want the word
"yahoo" or "coffee beans" in your keywords. This will lead
to frustrated consumers being led to your site when you
don't offer the services they want. These consumers will
not stay on your site and you will waste bandwidth
resources and money.

When you have the list that you came up with, talk to your
friends and family about what words may be good for your
site. Also, look at what keywords your competitors are
using in their meta-tags. When you have a list of about
twenty keywords you want to use in your internet marketing
campaign, we highly suggest using the free Google AdWords
keyword tool, or a paid for Wordtracker tool to get more
ideas and see how your keywords rank with other sites. If
the keywords you chose are already being employed by a
thousand other sites, then come up with something new and
original that will get you above their ranking on search
engines.

Your next task is to figure out where you want to put your
keywords in your pages. Each page should have a maximum of
5-7 keywords. You're not limited to putting your keywords
only in your meta-tags! You can also put them in your title
and in "Alt text" fields in your various pages.

Effectively utilizing keywords will enhance your site's
visibility. Fill in the gaps where your competitors miss,
and you're certain to attract more consumers and business
with your internet marketing strategy!

Benefits Of Having Your Own Blog

Benefits Of Having Your Own Blog
We live in the times of social networking, and probably the
precursor to the modern social networking craze is
blogging. Blogging has been there for a long time now, but
the fact that it still remains and that corporate entities
are still using it for their promotion and other purposes
speaks volumes of its effectiveness. Today, businesses that
do not have their own blog are considered decrepit. There
are many benefits of having your own blog, and least of
them is that you can reach out to a wider global audience.

A blog, very simply defined, is a chronological album of
entries made by the author of the blog and subsequent
visitors. You can blog about anything - you can speak about
your business, your travel, your cooking adventures and
even about how you combated with an ugly zit on your face.
There are all kinds of blogs floating around there. Your
blog could be your personal diary, a way to record things
you want people to know and a way to emphasize your are,
after all, human with emotions and expressions. This
creative outlet is a very significant benefit of having
your own blog.

But if the blog is for promoting a business, then that's a
wholly different ballgame, and it has zillion benefits of
its own. Business blogs are very important instruments of
brand recognition and promotion. Let us understand why.

With a blog, you are able to express the main features of
your product in a very subtle way. Most bloggers will not
speak about the product directly, but they will write an
informative article about it. Like, if you are selling
upholstery, you might write a blog about how to choose the
best cushion covers. Something like that. People who want
to learn about this will visit your blog. If your blog is
good enough, they will want to know more such things.

Within the blog, you can post the URL of your business
website. Ideally, this is present at the bottom of the
blog, but of course it can be wedged anywhere in between.
Some smart bloggers use text links too. Whoever wants more
information can click on this text link or the URL and
visit your website. That way you get your traffic. This is
not any ordinary traffic too - it is targeted traffic who
have reached your blog in the first place because they were
searching for related information. It becomes very simple
to convince such people to become your customers.

But there's much more to this. A blog is a way in which you
can interact with your customers or potential customers.
You can invite them to ask you more about the product, and
you can very easily dispense them with information. If
there is some negative talk about your product, a blog is
the best channel where you can provide your explanations. A
blog helps you keep in constant touch with people who are
interested in the kinds of product you are selling - it is
the best place to build your customer base.

Of course, there are a lot of frills attached. You have to
work hard at making your blog search engine optimized so
that the search engines pick it, otherwise you will get no
traffic. You have to keep your blog updated, because there
is nothing more devastating for the promotion of a business
than a blog that's allowed to stagnate.

A lively business blog, on the other hand, could be the
best instrument at promoting a business and bringing in
targeted traffic. Blogging should be quite high on any
online entrepreneur's list.

How To Put Audio On A Website Without Paying Monthly Fees!

How To Put Audio On A Website Without Paying Monthly Fees!
I had read in several places on the internet that if you
could learn how to put audio on a website it can make your
site more personal, let you connect more with your visitors,
and can substantially increase conversions.

That sounded pretty good to me, so I set about trying to
find out how to put audio on a website without it costing
me a fortune.

After spending ages searching around the net, I quickly
came to realise that this may not be as easy as it first
appeared.

Everything I found seemed to require me to be some kind of
technical whiz-kid. All I wanted to do was to be able to
record an audio and put it up on my website.

Was that really too much to ask? It seemed like it! I'm
certainly no techy, that's for sure. I earn a very
comfortable living by creating and selling ebooks and I do
that without having to be a technical genius.

Therefore, I needed to find something that would be fairly
idiot proof and would simply show me, in non-techy
language, how to put audio on a website quickly and easily.

After a long search and after having to wade through stuff
that I just couldn't get my head around, I finally found a
service that looked really good, easy to understand and
would allow me to put audio on a website without much
difficulty.

Eureka! Right?

Wrong. Or at least, half wrong. It turned out that whilst
this product had everything I needed, it was not only quite
expensive, but they also expected me to pay a monthly
ongoing fee!

By this time, I was fairly desperate to just get the job
done, so I went ahead and purchased the product. Turns out
it was push-button easy. Very nice to use and I now knew
how to put audio on a website whenever I needed to.

The other thing that turned out to be better than I
expected at first, was the fact that, the monthly fee's
only got a bit uncomfortable on the pocket when a certain
bandwidth had been exceeded.

That started to kick in as this paricular site gained more
and more traffic.

I still use that service today on some of my sites, (mainly
because i'm too lazy to change it and it's working very
well).

However, as things moved forward, I knew how to generate
large amounts of traffic to my sites and that meant that
the costs of having audio on those sites and paying a
monthly fee, began to mount up.

I needed to find another solution. So the searching started
again.

How could I put audio on a website without having to pay
these monthly fees?

Another long and painful search ensued and then... I found
it! The perfect solution. Exactly what I wanted.

Point. Click. Copy. Paste. And Voila! There it is. A
working audio, with buttons, up there on my site and
working like a dream! Connecting me with my visitors and
increasing my conversions like wildfire.

And the best part? It now takes just 60 seconds to get the
job done!

What's that? You'd also like to know how to put audio on a
website in about 60 seconds?

Well, check out my bio section below and you'll soon be
connecting better with your customers and making more
sales, easy as pie.

Putting audio on your website is now a snap. And NO
monthly fees either!
