Hidden Jewels of Customer Service Revealed, Part 1

Hidden Jewels of Customer Service Revealed, Part 1
Portable Empire island at Second Life, was the scene of a
not so formal interview between the avatars of Mooie
Infinity (Kate Loving Shenk) and Magic Becky Messmer (Becky
Rhone-Nowlan), fellow Second Life pal and Customer Service
expert.

Becky's first e-book, "Secrets of the Second Fortune" will
be released in the next several weeks.

Mooie Infinity: Great place to do an interview, (sitting by
the beautiful lavender fountain, overlooking Portable
Empire Island). MagicBecky Messmer: I agree :)

Mooie Infinity: So I would start out by saying: that
Customer Service is one of the most overlooked treasures
business could be engaging in. But they sadly shirk it.

Since you have been in the CS (Customer Service) field and
have great reverence for it, I think you are one of the
best people to ask some serious Customer Service questions
to.

Why do you think businesses shirk intelligent Customer
Service?

MagicBecky Messmer: In many cases I think it's because
most people perceive it as difficult.

It means they have to actually take the time to communicate
with the customer.

How many people today really know how to listen?

Mooie Infinity: Do you think the problem is that
communication skills are lacking? Listening being a big one
there? MagicBecky Messmer: In many cases, yes. I think
we have become a me/me society and that plays a lot into
it. For whatever reason, we have stopped taking
responsibility- and taking responsibility seriously. I had
an issue with a well known marketer and his CS guys whole
communication was about how it wasn't his fault I had this
problem. At that point I didn't care. I just wanted it
solved.

He finally said he was done with me because i was
uncooperative and sent it to the marketer.

Mooie Infinity: So when businesses refuse to take
responsibility and blame the customer, then that's when the
whole thing falls apart? MagicBecky Messmer: Of course.
It takes so little to really make your customers your fan.

With the guy I was having a problem with, up until he said
he was done with me, he still could have won me over. All
he would have had to do was say, I understand why you are
angry and this is what i am going to do. In fact, I had
a customer call today because she hadn't received her
records and one of the other reps said that I was going to
have to do a little song and dance when explaining why we
hadn't shipped them. I got on the phone and said Pat, I
am very sorry. For some reason the records haven't shipped.
Let me send an email and see what I can do to get you an
answer and get them shipped to you asap. My number is
(and i gave her my number). I will personally make sure
this gets taken care of. If you don't have them by Monday
at noon call me. She was ecstatic! No muss no fuss. The
other rep said, Wow! Just straight forward truth! Cool!
Mooie Infinity: That is going the extra mile--the buck
stops here sort of philosophy--and we need more of that.

MagicBecky Messmer: It's all about intention, which goes
back to responsibility. As long as you tell them "what
you are going to do to solve the problem" and then make
sure you do it, of course.

I think it's because you are showing trust in them.

Most people will pick up on that Mooie Infinity: Yes--so
CS service is outsourced routinely these days. Why is this
such a trend? MagicBecky Messmer: Real quick point and
then to your question. The CEO I learned service from, had
a real liberal return policy and we paid for return freight.

Someone asked him once, Aren't you worried that the
customers will abuse the policy?

His answer was, Yes, some will. Mooie Infinity: Most
won't MagicBecky Messmer: But more will appreciate that
we are taking care of them and those are the customers that
are important to me. Mooie Infinity: Creating friends
and relationships, not enemies.

MagicBecky Messmer: Exactly! And it works. Mooie
Infinity: Fans as you say. MagicBecky Messmer: As for
the outsourcing? That's an easy answer with multiple
layers. It's about money, the almighty dollar.

Mooie Infinity: When you outsource, you barely pay them
anything to do the job?

MagicBecky Messmer: Companies here in the US don't have to
pay them much, a few dollars an hour- you don't have to pay
benefits and you don't have workman's comp insurance.

In addition you don't have a building to pay upkeep and
monthly bills on.

Mooie Infinity: I have had experience talking to these
outsourced CS people and it's been a
nightmare--communication at its worst. And I got the
feeling that the language barrier was at the heart of the
problem.

MagicBecky Messmer: The sad thing is, the people who lose
out is the customer, and of course ultimately the company
when customers stop doing business cause they are angry.

Mooie Infinity: Yes--in the end you go out of business.

MagicBecky Messmer: The company I work for has a group of
people we "affectionately" call the I team.

Can you guess what the I stands for?

Mooie Infinity: Intelligent?

MagicBecky Messmer: Yeah. It's a constant struggle trying
to read the notes. And then the things they interpret as
what I have asked gets ludicrous.

I had one location that had never returned a call and this
was after months of our I team leaving messages. So I
called and left a message and got a return call the next
day. She said the reason she called me back is she could
understand me.

She said she would rewind the message over and over and
just had no clue what was being said.

You are right. It's a quick fix that will come back to bite
them. I think what you said earlier is really right on.

People are getting sick and tired of trying to communicate
with people who don't speak the language fluently or even
well.

Mooie Infinity: Computer services routinely outsource their
customer service. Apple does not and they have wonderful CS.

Comcast has good customer service. Credit card companies
make it almost impossible to get any help.

We had a computer system at our hospital called Iprob.

One of the major reasons we had to abandon the system was
very poor customer service. Again, a language slash
communication barrier.

All the CS people were in Israel were very difficult to
understand. Also were not always available.

MagicBecky Messmer: When a customer is irritated because
something has gone wrong, the last thing they want to do is
to try to explain it to someone who flat doesn't understand.

The whole point of problem resolution is to calm the
customer down so they can hear what you have to say.

Which by the way brings up the difference between customer
service and problem resolution.

Mooie Infinity: Customer service and problem resolution?
Explain.

To be continued.....

How To Make Money Now With A Wealthy Marketer

How To Make Money Now With A Wealthy Marketer
There are so many people that have a vision of making an
extensive amount of money online. They want a profitable
business, but lack the information it takes to make it
successful. Many try, but most fail within just a few
months of constant battle. The good news is that the
opportunity is still there for those who are willing to
consult an advisor who actually knows the business.

There is an easy formula that anyone can use to become
successful online. This includes ALL home-based businesses.
Most online businesses are not scams; individuals just
justify them that way to conceal their own lack of success.

To begin a profitable online business, you need a real
product or service that satisfies the demands of a large
market. There are numerous products available that can be
marketed effectively and produce a sizeable profit. One
benefit of starting a home-based business is that you do
not need the additional overhead of a commercial office
space. Another advantage is that you can work outside of
9 to 5 hours and achieve excellent results. This is because
the Internet is open 24 hours a day and can reach
individuals worldwide.

Say you have a product and a substantial market. You are
halfway there. All that is left are two (2) things. You
need a well designed website (text and graphics) and you
need to drive traffic to your website from the appropriate
market. This is where 95% of the people fail and never
become successful.

It is really simple math. Say your product makes a gross
profit of $100. The question is, "How much does it cost to
drive a single visitor to your site, and how many visitors
does it take to make a sale?" If it costs you $2 for
every visitor and it takes 100 visitors to make a sale,
this spells failure. This is the main reason that 95% of
ALL home-based businesses become unsuccessful. Most people
give up at this point and fail to realize that if they
would just make one or two (maybe both) changes, they would
become profitable and eventually successful.

If your business spends $2 to make a $1 you are not as bad
off as it sounds providing you are willing and able to make
a few adjustments. Here is why - Your website either needs
a serious overhaul to convert a higher percentage of
visitors into buyers, or you just are not reaching the
correct, targeted audience. In this example, it is most
likely a little of both. There are so many wrong ways to
build a website. To cover them would take too much time.
The website should do one thing - It should make the reader
want your product. It should not confuse or bore the
reader in any way. It should not be a mystery as to what
you are selling, how much it costs, and how to contact the
website owner for more details. There are some pretty
dreadful websites out there. Yours should not be one of
them.

Keep in mind that you can find a proven home-based business
and it will save you time from identifying a product and
market. In fact, there are at least 20 home businesses that
are successful. A wealthy marketer can sign up for any of
those businesses and make it profitable. A wealthy marketer
will weigh the pros and cons of each home business and pick
one to market accordingly. Only four things are needed when
starting an Internet business. First, make sure the product
is genuine and has a significant market.

Then focus on building a terrific website that drives
traffic. These home-based businesses usually give a website
to get started with, BUT it will probably NOT work
satisfactory. A wealthy marketer will fully revamp and
re-write that website. This is done for two reasons. First,
the website cannot have duplicated text content, or it will
never do well in the search engines. 80% of all websites
are found from people using the search engines and you
really want your business to be listed for the best chances
of success. Second, a wealthy marketer will refine the
website and find ways to improve it. Make it more concise
and spell out anything that may seem confusing to the
reader. A wealthy marketer knows that the quality of
success in life is directly related to the quality of
communication. In this case, it is the website that
communicates. It must be just right or pretty close to it.
No exceptions. Every slight mistake on a website lowers the
conversion rate. A perfect website might convert every 20
visitors to a sale. If your profit is $100 per sale and you
only spend $40 for 20 visitors, you will do well.
However, each mistake will lower the conversion rate and
will make the difference between success and failure.

Once your website is close to perfect, there is one final
thing – How to get visitors. So many people that
make it to this level start looking for advertising
companies to help drive traffic to their website. They
spend a few hundred here and a few hundred there, and
before they know it, they are broke and still have no
sales. The irony is that some of the best advertising you
could ever do on the Internet is FREE. It might be a
combination of laziness and lack of knowledge, but most
people that resort to buying website traffic end up holding
the bag. There are plenty of paid methods that work, but
you need someone to point you in the right direction. With
the right mentor, you can shave thousands of dollars off of
the advertising equation.

That's where a wealthy marketer comes in handy. Someone who
can show you the ropes and who will not lead you astray is
vital in business. Mentors exist and with the right plan
and leverage, they can help you become successful.

Most online businesses can be made profitable if you know
the right internet marketing strategies. Most online
business opportunities can work because they have a product
that satisfies a market. People that start a home business
will NOT succeed because they do not know how to create a
website that converts, and they do not know how to reach
their target market audience. The good news is that there
are wealthy marketers out there who can help you. If it is
the right program, hey will be compensated to help you,
which can create synergy not competition. If you do not
know what you are doing and want to become a wealthy
marketer, find someone at all cost who does.

----------------------------------------------------
If you are ready to make money online now you too could
become a Wealthy Marketer. It is easy if you do things the
right way. Home Based Business on the internet is
lucrative.=> http://www.wealthymarketer1497.com

MLM And You - The Next Online Millionaire

MLM And You - The Next Online Millionaire
The internet is revolutionizing the business world. Network
marketing is not immune to its' effects.

Many people are beginning to realize the power of the
internet and wondering if online MLM will be the key to
making them the next internet millionaire.

So how is it possible to make the internet work for you and
achieve the success that you're looking for?

First of all it is imperative that you join a quality
company. This above any other thing will be the key to your
success. Sure, marketing is great, but if you don't have a
solid company and product your business will squander. So
do your research and find out all about the founders, the
comp plan, and the product. The more knowledgeable you are,
the more people will be drawn to align themselves with you.

The great advantage to building an online MLM is the power
of leverage. Once you build your downline using your easily
duplicatable system, you will have an income that follows
you for years. This concept is what is known as residual
income. Residual income allows you to earn commissions even
when you’re not actively working to build your
business. While most of us were raised to believe in
working for an hourly wage or yearly salary, this concept
of passive income seems almost unfathomable. However, once
you realize this idea of residual income, you can become
wealthy beyond your wildest dreams.

Many people who are involved in today's MLM industry are
still stuck in the dark ages when it comes to their
marketing systems. While the old school techniques have
been very effective for many top marketers, the internet
allows for a much more streamlined process. By utilizing
internet marketing strategies to build your MLM business,
you no longer need to use the traditional marketer's
techniques. These include such things as cold calling,
harassing friends and family, and holding expensive hotel
meetings. With the use of the internet you can host
conference calls, build creative lead capture pages, have
an autoresponder follow up on your leads, and host webinar
trainings. This truly is the way to build a real MLM
business today. It is also far more efficient than using
outdated methods.

Hopefully you will stop and take another look at building
an online MLM business as a way to make you the next
internet millionaire. Never forget though that whatever
avenue for success you choose, it will require work and
effort on your part to realize the results that you are
looking for.

Come On Down…You’re The Next Contestant On “The Timing Is Right”

Come On Down…You’re The Next Contestant On “The Timing Is Right”
The timing couldn’t be better for having a home-based
business that’s online. If you have been thinking
about starting a business or if you are thinking about
supplementing your current income (without getting another
boss), this article will show you that the timing is right,
there’s money to be made, and price is also right.

There are a lot of benefits for the internet entrepreneur,
especially when they know how to market properly. The
newbie internet entrepreneurs are at an advantage because
the availability of marketing techniques, technology, and
training are at their fingertips.

MARKETING TECHNIQUES. There are numerous methods available
for the newbie. Just getting started and don’t have a
lot of cash? No worries…there’s free
advertising such as TrafficSwarm, free online classifieds,
blogging, and article submission. Want to go all out? Take
it easy at first. Pace yourself so that you are not burning
your marketing budget on one method. If you have the
working capital every month for your advertising costs,
learn one method of paid advertising at a time. Please take
the time to really learn Google Adsense. If you
don’t know what you’re doing, you will lose a
lot of money and you will quit your home-based business
before you even get started.

TECHNOLOGY. With cell phones, eFaxes, internet, UPS and
FedEx priority overnight shipping, errand service, a small
home-based business can operate at a large scale capacity
at a reasonable price. Marketing techniques have gotten a
lot easier because the novice internet entrepreneur
won’t need to know html coding to build a website.
Services such as GoDaddy.com have type and publish
websites. To generate leads, you won’t need to make a
list of your warm market and pray they would join your
opportunity. Thanks to the world wide web, teams can be
build from almost every corner of the world.

TRAINING. Another advantage for newbie internet
entrepreneurs is the availability of training. There are
numerous marketing experts who train and mentor these
newbie internet entrepreneurs. One-on-one coaching is
available if you are lucky enough to join someone’s
opportunity and your sponsor builds you up. Marketing
experts have their own field of expertise (ie, copywriting,
lead generation, Search Engine Optimization) and will teach
a new person to cut his/her learning curve for a price
(typically, a course or a series of live coaching). Veteran
internet entrepreneurs had to learn everything on their
own, by trial and error. Often times, after losing
thousands and thousands of dollars. Those who stuck it out
found their own area of expertise and are now teaching
newbies how to be successful.

Painting a rosy garden is not intended to stop reading this
and join the first opportunity you come across. A lot of
hard work, determination, and persistence are needed to be
successful. Here are some obstacles the common newbie faces:

NEWBIE PITFALL. Most newbie internet entrepreneurs fail to
succeed with their business because they want to make money
quickly, without learning how to market properly. Often
times, they join an opportunity and expect their affiliate
link or a replicated site will set them financially free.
Not so fast. When you advertise your affiliate link, people
don’t have the patience to type the whole URL.
Besides, when people see it’s an affiliate link, they
purposely delete your affiliate ID. If you have a
replicated website that a lot of the newbies have, you are
not unique. If you are not unique, you won’t sell
anything. The biggest advantage for veteran entrepreneurs
is that they have seen the worst but are still here because
they didn’t quit and something finally clicked and
they now have a system that works.

INTERNET-BASED HOME BUSINESS VS. STORE FRONT: So, why the
internet-based business and not a store front? For
starters, you will need a large capital to have a
store…not to mention the inventory.

You cannot be at your store 24/7, so you will need to hire
employees. The reason why someone starts a business is to
have free time. By having a store, you will become a
prisoner of your business.

The internet is a vehicle of choice because the operating
costs are cheap. You truly leverage your time and effort.
For example, if you are selling an informational product,
you only need to write it once, set up your marketing so
that it’s on auto-pilot. An intriguing lead capture
page coupled with compelling auto-responder series would be
a cash magnet for you.

INTERNET-BASED HOME BUSINESS VS. BEING AN EMPLOYEE. Why an
internet-based business and not to continue being an
employee? Geez, this one is a no-brainer. As an employee,
you’re always at the mercy of your employer. You
could be employed today, fired tomorrow.

The beauty of having an internet-based business is that you
can quietly make your fortune while you’re working
for someone. Take caution: when you are making more money
with your business compared to your measly hourly wage or
salary, you will have the itch to quit your job. My
personal rule of thumb is consistently make your target for
6 consecutive months. On the 7th month, tender your letter
of resignation.

Work At Home - Don't Let Anybody Steal your Dreams!

Work At Home - Don't Let Anybody Steal your Dreams!
They are out there, disguised as friends or concerned loved
ones. Some are more obvious, the lawyers, accountants and
bankers. Who are "they?" They are the Dream Stealers!

A few questions: Do YOU want to make some SERIOUS money?
Are YOU tired of being a WAGE SLAVE? Do YOU want to start
earning as much money as you are worth? Do you want the
"GOOD LIFE" with more Money, time with family and friends,
and yes, the bigger home, car, boat, etc? Then one of the
BEST ways to do that is to start your OWN home based
business!

To START a home based business, you need to ask yourself:
What is your Passion? What is your Niche? What are you Good
at? What do you Like to do? What do you Want to do? What
could you see yourself doing ... for the rest of your life?

Once we get the "bug" to start our own home based business,
we get EXCITED! We tell everyone we know we are gonna
start working from home(part time) and pretty soon be able
to quit our regular job.

But then what happens? Many times our family and friends,
who are caught up in being "wage slaves" get concerned
about us. They think we have "lost it" temporarily. And so,
they must "protect" us. Without meaning to, they can(if we
let them) DESTROY the dream. They can even point us to
accountants, bankers, or lawyers and quote the othen heard
statistic "90% of all businesses fail within the first 5
years". Let me tell you a true story.

The Banker Story

A number of years ago, I was working as a Radio DJ. But I
had DREAMS of bigger and better things. I found out a radio
station was for sale not too far from my home. I called the
President of a local bank that knew me and I had done
business with (I THOUGHT he would "see the vision" that I
was seeing!) I told him of the station for sale and wanted
to know if I got a loan from him how much the interest was,
what the payments would be, etc.

Before I got the words out of my mouth, the banker was
LAUGHING! He told me "John, you owning a radio station is
like ME owning a BANK! You just keep WORKING as a DJ.
Forget about ever OWNING your own radio station!"

WOW! This man, that I thought was my FRIEND was a DREAM
STEALER! But, he would NOT steal MY Dream! Not Invited to
MY Party A short time after that, I actually BUILT a radio
station, from the ground up. My partner KNEW what the
banker had said and told him "John HAS a radio station now,
so do YOU own any BANKS?" He was speechless. But that dream
stealing banker was NEVER invited to any more of MY parties!

What have you Dreamed? What have you Dreamed that seemed
impossible? What have you started out to accomplish, only
to be ravaged by discouragement, or others opinion of who
you should be? I have found that SUCCESS is at least 50%
mental/psychological. Maybe even 99%. You MUST NOT let the
dreamstealers steal YOUR dreams.

All those statistics about 90 of all businesses fail within
5 years MAY be true. But maybe if you started your business
a little differently, maybe YOU would have different
results! If you KEPT your regular job and started your Part
time business at HOME, keeping expenses to a minimum, your
chances to succeed greatly multiply!

With the coming of the internet, it hsa NEVER been easier
to become an "internet marketer." All that means is you are
using the services of the internet to MARKET your business.
And if you do it right, you can become a Wealthy Marketer!
You can become a wealthy marketer right from your own home!

Listen to this: Every 11 seconds someone starts their own
home based business! And everyday about 11,000 more people
join the INTERNET! Knowing these 2 FACTS can make YOU a lot
of MONEY! I often hear that "the AVERAGE" person can start
a part time business from home and start to make some money
on the side.

I no longer believe that! You are NOT average if you are
able to FIGHT OFF the DREAMSTEALERS! It may be your
spouse, parents, children, friend or co-worker(or even ALL
of the above!) that really is concerned about you. But, no
matter who they are, do NOT let them steal your dream. If
you can "tune out" the dreamstealers, you are well on your
way to becoming successful in your OWN home based business.
Congratulations!

There Are More Stupid Business Opportunity Buyers Than There Are Stupid Business Opportunity Plans

There Are More Stupid Business Opportunity Buyers Than There Are Stupid Business Opportunity Plans
What does the price of oil going up have to do with the
number of stupid business opportunity buyers and the number
of stupid business opportunity plans? As will be
demonstrated…everything! This was a ruse that was
very popular in the 90’s, as business opportunity
telemarketing was in its heyday, and, given the current
conditions of one market, has seen a resurgence in business
opportunity telemarketing. You get a phone call, letter, or
email from someone who states they have inside information
on a particular market (by the way, I would like to
interject a quick message and thanks to those nice people
that always send me their friendly letters, postcards, and
emails offering their plans about how to make a million
dollars in a month or so doing nothing; I have enough of
them, no need to send anymore). The plan involves
predicting the price of oil (in the past, this could be
gold or silver, however, given its price volatility, oil is
the “in” commodity and the perfect vehicle for
this ruse). Now the broker will tell you that because he is
such a nice guy he will give you a free tip on the current
pricing of oil and all you have to do is monitor the price
and take note of his expertise, and, what do you know, the
broker is right, the market did exactly as he had
predicted. The same guy comes back with another free tip,
and, once again, the broker is right, the market did
exactly what he predicted. In addition, the broker lets you
know because of his uncanny ability, he is richer by a
hundred grand or so. It won’t be long before the
broker will send you pictures of how he lives the high life
with expensive cars, a beautiful home, and exotic
vacations, ostensibly all due to his expertise in
predicting the market. Now the broker wants to know if you
are ready to invest and live the way he does by taking his
advice on his next prediction. People send him$1,000,
$5,000, 10,000, and some even $50,000. However, investors
never here from the broker again and never see their money.

What happened?

The broker will call, mail, or email 1,000 people. To 500
people he will predict the oil market will go up and to the
other 500 he will predict the market will go down. No
matter what the market does at least 500 people will
believe the broker accurately predicted the market. The
ruse continues with those 500 people (of course, the other
500 people are never contacted again), who will now receive
the second free tip. Once again, it does not matter whether
the market went up or down because 250 people were told the
market would go up and 250 were told it would go down. So
now the so-called broker has 250 people who believe in his
ability to predict the market and are ready to invest with.
What happens to the 250 investors now becomes clear. The
broker tries to extract maximum investment from each one
and after he does splits town with the dough (usually
hundred of thousands of dollars) and gets ready to
perpetrate the same tactic in another town or to another
list. So, as a means of facilitating the business
opportunity industry and its less-than-noble strategy and
tactics, and as the headline so eloquently states; this is
why it is more important to have more stupid business
opportunity buyers than it is to have stupid business
opportunity plans.

How to make search engines love your website

How to make search engines love your website
The search engines play a crucial role in sending traffic
to your website. In fact most of the websites depend on the
search engines for their staple dose of traffic although
these days it is advised that you should target other
websites, blogs, social networking websites, three article
directories, online directories, and online forums too.

In order to derive maximum traffic from various search
engines you need to make your website search engine
friendly and properly communicate to their algorithms what
key phrases and keywords are important to your website. Let
us quickly go through a few steps that can help you make
search engines fall in love with your website.

Write for the people and not just for the search engines:
Some people have this misconception that you need to
manipulate text in order to rank well on the search
engines; partially this is true but most often it is not.
The best way to fair well in the search engines is to write
and organise your content in such a manner that it is best
suited to human reading. The more human-friendly content
you have the more search engine friendly content you have.
The search engines want you to write relevant,
well-organised content so that they can present quality
results to their search engine users.

Research your keywords in the beginning You should be very
clear about what keywords you want traffic from the search
engines; focus on the wrong key words and all your effort
will go to waste. If you're not sure about what keywords to
focus upon them go head and hire a consultant but never
underestimate the importance of keyword-research. Don't
postpone the selection of your key words until the
completion of your website because during many stages you
will need to know what relevant keywords your website is
trying to target.

Organise paragraphs under headings and subheadings Headings
and subheadings quickly tell your human readers as well as
the search engine crawlers what your pages all about. The
headings and subheadings often represent the gist of
content so be careful what words you use when you formulate
your headings and subheadings; preferably use your keywords
and key phrases when writing them.

Emphasise your important words When you highlight or
emphasise your important words it conveys both to your
readers and the search engine crawlers that these words are
important to understand your message.

Give distinct titles to your web pages Just as your name is
important to your existence, the page titles are important
for your web pages. Never have a single title -- your
company name, for example -- for all your pages. Your page
title should a property represent your web page and in fact
use the central sentence of your web page as your page
title. Avoid creating esoteric and confusing titles
although they may seem attractive. Always use a title that
clearly defines the message of your web page. Preferably
use your keywords with creating your title but make sure
you don't unnecessarily stuff the title with all your
important keywords: this will end up spoiling the effect of
your title. Organise your keyword-distribution carefully
Although he shouldn't manipulate your content for the sake
of search engines you can arrange your keywords without
seeming spammy. For instance, use your main keywords a new
title, in your headings and subheadings, twice or thrice in
your first paragraph and then at least once in every
paragraph, highlight your keywords once or twice on your
web page, use your keywords as hyperlink text when you link
to other pages of your website and when you are organising
your thoughts using bullets then use your keywords did to.

Submit your link to niche directories There are online
directories available to all niche markets and some of
these online directories are highly trusted by the search
engines, that is, if your website appears in one of these
online directories than it automatically gets a higher
ranking in the search engines. There are many business and
consumer directories; very carefully select the most
appropriate category and then submit your website under
that category.

Publish a blog Not having some blogs is so passé; a
blog is such an effective marketing, branding, combination,
awareness and SEO tool that it is highly recommended that
you have a blog for your business. Highly targeted blogs
are quickly indexed by the search engines and whenever you
post your blog posts they get the text quicker than your
normal web pages. Also somehow the blog posts get ranked
higher than the normal pages for the same sort of content.
There are many other numerous benefits of publishing a blog
but here are just talking in terms of SEO.

Use bread crumb navigation Bread crumb navigation is a
system that you often come across on category-based
websites. Take for instance a directory listing: initially
ago on the homepage, then you click one of the categories,
then you click one of the sub-categories, then you click
one of the sub-sub-directories -- and so on -- until you
arrive at the desired page. On top of the page you will see
something like Main->Clothes->Shirts->Men->Large->Striped.
This type of navigation system allows you to click on a
parent directory and immediately move to another section of
the website. This is good for your SEO.

Search engine friendly URLs You get an SEO boost when your
URL contains some of your keywords. The search engines
don't appreciate dynamically generated URLs much; they
prefer URLs that make sense in the real language. For
instance, doublespark-seo.co.uk/search-engine-optimisation/
is always better than doublespark-seo.co.uk/page.php?p=34.
Manually it is easy to achieve but if you are using a
content management system that make sure that your content
management system generates search engine friendly URLs and
not dynamic URLs that require a parameter to access a page.

So these are a few things that you can do on your website
that will make the search engines fall in love with it.

How to Build a Good Customer Relationship with Web Internet Marketing

How to Build a Good Customer Relationship with Web Internet Marketing
Earlier this year global information provider comScore
Network revealed that in 2006 ecommerce revenue passed the
100 billion dollars mark. While this may not be a big deal
in the offline world, this is a significant milestone for
web internet marketing.

That doesn't mean of course people are going to stop going
to Macy's or Wal-Mart. For many people there is something
wonderfully familiar about going inside a store. Whether
face to face customer service and support, actually being
able to touch the products or just getting out of the
house, the reality is ecommerce in many ways will never be
able to compete with the traditional retail stores.

But you can create a level of trust and dependability which
can rival anything offline by setting up an effective web
site marketing strategy. Many apprehensions that people
hold about doing business on the internet can be alleviated
by the way you implement your web site marketing strategy.
There are several things you can do.

1. Put Yourself in their Shoes.

Businesses have come and gone due to the insistence of many
store owners that they know what's best for the customer.
Just put a product out there and people will automatically
fall in line. Not. To get the most out your internet
marketing plan, you need to constantly ask yourself "what
do your customers want?" Then give it to them. Is it more
variety of products or to have any and all of their
concerns addressed before they decide to buy. You may not
be able to answer every question or apprehension but
putting forth the effort to try can only increase your
customer conversion rate.

2. Grabbing their Attention the Right Way

How many times have you walked into a store and something
did not sit well with you. Maybe it was the quality of the
merchandise or the less than stellar customer support you
received. Whatever the reason the old saying, "you never
get a second chance to make a first impression" remains a
significant part of doing business. This goes double for
your web site page. If people don't like your web site upon
first viewing the easiest thing for them to do is click to
another site.

If you are for instance selling videos a good web internet
marketing you can do yourself and the customer a big favor
by having images of your top selling movies with a critique
by you or people who have seen these films. If possible go
to one of the many file sharing sites and download movie
clips onto your web site page. Make your site interactive
and encourage people to leave comments on whatever movies
they like or dislike. The point is to not only grab their
attention and hold it but to let your website become
familiar and comfortable to them. Once you do this, the
buying a product stage gets easier to people.

3. Availiable for the Ready.

Got a problem at your local department store? Just ask the
manager. That might not be conducive to internet web site
marketing especially if you have a world wide clientele
scattered over the different time zones. That's why you
should consider building a web site page or two which does
nothing but answer questions the customer may have. If you
can set up online customer support fine but a frequently
asked question page should do the trick. Also throw in some
useful tips on how they can get the most out of your
product.

One thing you definitely want to emphasize in your customer
relationship is the safety and security of purchasing a
product. Display this prominently and back it up with
testimonials from people who have bought from you in the
past. If you are just starting make sure the security
parameters of purchasing from you are clearly spelled out
on your web site page and backed it up with a guarantee.

People are becoming more at ease with buying online but
that does not mean you can take this for granted. Many of
the concerns people have about shopping offline are
magnified a thousand times over when it comes to buying on
the internet. Your internet marketing plan should include a
good web site design built in such away so that people grow
to trust you. Do this first and the revenue will follow.

Five Reasons Why Blogging Is The New Internet Marketing Tool

Five Reasons Why Blogging Is The New Internet Marketing Tool
Blogging is a concept which started in the late 90s. It
used to be a way to comment upon an existing webpage, an
opportunity for visitors and readers to react or express
their opinion on the said page. What started as a
single-sentence commentary has evolved into pages of
personal take on just about anything and everything under
the sun. As it continues to move forward, online
advertising has tapped into the blog’s potential.
Here are 5 reasons why you should use blogging as an
Internet marketing tool.

1.Blogging is simple. The simplest way to get your piece
on the net is through blogging. No skills are
necessary… an average adult can read and type, or at
least click a mouse. It’s like having a virtual
piece of paper and you just write your ideas, experiences,
new products, and hope that the truth behind your articles
comes out and thus entices your reader to try your product.
If you have a PC and an Internet connection (who
doesn’t?) then you can blog and advertise.

2. Blogging is authentic. In this day and age where
advertising saturates our lives, we question the
credibility of promoters’ claims. However, in blogs,
real people share their real-life experiences, unscathed by
paid advertising. Reading blogs about first-hand product
use is like talking to people about their first-hand
experience. You definitely want to buy a tried and tested
product.

3. Blogging is free. Because blogging is yet to be proven
as a mainstream online advertising media, most sites see it
as something to augment current marketing tools and thus
offer it for free. Any opportunity for free webtime is
definitely a bonus especially to businesses that are
starting up. Needless to say, paid blog pages can generate
more income for your seriously growing business.

4. Blogging builds credibility. As you get more and more
into writing your experiences on a particular product or
industry, your readers come to realize that they can depend
on your posts for their own information needs. As such,
you become an expert on it; as a consequence, more readers
visit your site and more bloggers link to your blogs. As
companies and professional organizations notice the growth
of your readership base, they may soon get in touch with
you for advertising on your blog page, or make you an
affiliate, which pays for every referral generated from
your blog site.

5. Blogging builds your market. Unless you are a Hollywood
star, chances are, only your Mom reads your posts. Mom has
a lot of friends, so she lets her friends know how
interesting your blog site is. But you need not depend on
Mom to increase your readership base. Look into the
following ways to build your market through blogging:

-By using your e-mail. Today, blogging is overcoming
e-mail popularity in quickly and effectively reaching and
expanding a market. In this age of speed and quick access,
logging in and downloading e-mail is simply taking longer
than clicking into a blog site. Let them explore your site
by using a short e-mail message as a teaser to your blog
site. If your e-mail is on an entirely different subject,
use your e-mail signature to give a link to the site.

-By using subscription. An easy way to get your readers
e-mail is to give them an opportunity to subscribe to your
blogsite. Keep some exclusive information for your
subscribers to entice readers to subscribe and give their
e-mail address. Just be responsible in using their e-mail
address, as the last thing you want is a comment on your
blog that you are a spammer.

-By understanding your readers. Conduct a simple survey
for your readers to understand their profile and
advertising preferences. Ask consumers to give you
feedback on a post, an ad link, or a trial that you shared.
In this way, it is like interviewing your readers without
the commitment and intrusion of a face-to-face interview.

-By joining a blog network –A network of blogs maybe
a collection of blog sites that share the same industry,
interest, readership base, payment mode, etc. Consumers
find credibility and convenience in clicking one link to
several real bloggers about a single subject. Clearly,
more bloggers are better than one.

-By using RSS. RSS is the fastest growing technology on the
Internet today. As such, having RSS feeds to your blog is
definitely another means of generating awareness for your
readership base. Having a variety of feeds can add
interest to your blog site.

Give your business a boost by effectively using blogging as
an Internet marketing tool.
