Use The Power Of The Web And Become A Wealthy Marketer

Use The Power Of The Web And Become A Wealthy Marketer
With the emergence of the internet, and especially Web 2.0,
the marketing landscape has shifted dramatically.
Statistics show that teenagers now spend more time online
than they do watching television. And there is also growing
speculation that traditional advertising in print and on
television are losing their effectiveness as consumers
become more sophisticated.

The internet offers all kinds of opportunities for becoming
a wealthy marketer. And any wealthy marketer will tell you
that the first, and perhaps only requirement, for success
is that you are web savvy. This does not mean you have to
have programming or even web design skills, but that you
have a good knowledge and understanding of the trends that
drive the internet to really make money online.

A few years ago internet marketing was much more limited in
what it could do and most companies settled for banner
advertising. However, the emergence of Web 2.0 and websites
like YouTube, Delicious and Digg mean that anyone can
become a wealthy marketer.

Web 2.0 allows users to contribute to the content of the
web and voice opinions more than ever before. A basic
example of this is leaving a comment on a blog post or
adding an article to Wikipedia. Here are a few examples of
how you can use the internet to help boost sales and help
you to become a wealthy marketer.

Rating sites

If you have a product you are proud of you can submit it to
rating sites so web users can give it the thumbs up. Bear
in mind though that they can also give it the thumbs down
so you must be prepared to take the good with the bad.

Podcasting

If you can produce audio content that entertains and/or
informs then podcasts can be a great way to market a
product and make money online. Try to produce something
that is related to your product or service. You will need
little investment to achieve this.

Social networking websites

Social networking and social bookmarking websites have
become hugely popular over the past two years and offer new
opportunities to wealthy marketers. You can use the social
aspect of websites like Facebook and MySpace to contact
like-minded people, set up groups or even host events.

Another alternative to help you become a wealthy marketer
is to use social bookmarking websites like Digg and
StumbleUpon. If you can create content that people like,
these sites allow people to rate it and it could, if you
are lucky, go viral. It is estimated that a place on the
front page of Digg will bring thousands of visitors to your
website and help you make money online.

Blogs

You will find few online businesses that do not have a blog
and are virtually essential if you want to become a wealthy
marketer. A good blog will drive traffic to your website,
and if you get enough traffic you can make money online
from advertising or affiliate marketing.

A blog is a great way to communicate with customers as it
allows them to leave comments. This is a great way to gauge
customer satisfaction with your products and learn how to
improve them.

Widgets

Widgets are small web-based applications that people can
place on their websites or their desktops. They usually
provide some practical function like a weather forecast or
maybe a news feed. Companies often offer branded widgets
for free to increase their profile.

These are just some of the tools and methods being used by
wealthy marketers all over the world. Marketing in the Web
2.0 world is in its infancy but is increasingly offering
opportunities for businesses of all sizes.

Negative Keywords and Your PPC Management Strategy

Negative Keywords and Your PPC Management Strategy
While negative keywords have been around for quite some
time, most people don't know what they are let alone how to
use them. The paragraphs below will give you insight on how
to use negative keywords to improve the performance of your
pay per click management.

What are Negative Keywords?: Negative Keywords are those
handy little gems that help us filter out the possibility
of attracting a non qualified user to the site. When
certain keywords are designated as Negative Keywords, then
Google will prevent your keywords from triggering your ads
if that negative keyword was included in the search query.

How to use Negative Keywords: The effectiveness of your
negative keyword list relies on the structure of your
account. You can have negative keywords entered at the
Account Level or at the Campaign Level. For example, let's
say you're operating a website that provides clean jokes
and stories for people to read. In this instance, an
Account Level negative keyword list containing negative
keywords like "nasty, dirty, sexy ..." would be
appropriate. Now let's assume you run a Costume site
selling costumes for many occasions. You could have a
campaign set up for Children's Halloween Costumes and a
campaign for Adult Sexy Costumes. In this case you should
put negative keywords at the Campaign Level of the
Children's Halloween Costumes like "sexy, adult, revealing,
etc." to prevent those keywords from triggering when kids
are searching for Halloween costumes. Like wise, in your
Adult Sexy Costumes campaign, you should enter Campaign
Level Negative Keywords like "child, children, kids, etc."
to prevent any of your keywords from triggering as the
result of children searching for costumes.

Negative Keyword Match Types: Negative keywords also have
match types just like your regular keywords. There is
negative-broad, negative-phrase and negative-exact. When
using negative keywords it's important that you use the
correct form of the negative keyword. For best results, to
avoid Google from mapping your negative keyword to multiple
possibilites with their extended broad match, enter your
negative keywords as negative-exact to ensure that the only
way your ad won't trigger is by someone typing in the
negative keyword exactly as you entered it.

In Summary: Negative Keywords when used correctly will save
you money, improve your online ROI from your pay per click
accounts and present your site / products in a better light
to all prospects searching for your products / service.

How To Use A Computer To Work From Home

How To Use A Computer To Work From Home
If you are interested in working from home and have a
computer with an Internet connection, most likely there is
a job opportunity for you on the Internet. If you are
willing to do some research and online legwork, chances are
you will be able to use the computer to work at home.

Using a computer to work at home is actually quite simple.
There are several types of jobs that require you to use a
computer to work at home ' freelance service based jobs,
transcription work, virtual assistant work, online auction
sites, and many other options are available to you if you
know how to use a computer. In fact, using a computer to
work at home is one of the easiest ways to begin working
from home.

Freelance service providers such as writers, graphic
designers, and web developers all can use computers to work
at home. If you do this job from a computer in an office
for a corporation, it could be just as profitable, if not
more so, to do the same job from your computer at home. If
you're interested in using a computer to work from home,
you could either ask your current employer about
telecommuting, or go into business for yourself as a
freelancer.

There are many transcription sites that allow you to train
as a transcriptionist and then use a computer to work at
home. If you have experience with typing or transcription,
and are interested in working for an online employer
instead of going into business for yourself, transcription
might be a good way to use a computer to work at home.

If you have secretarial skills or have worked as an
administrative assistant, you are probably qualified to
work as a virtual assistant, or VA. Virtual assistants
perform secretarial duties for clients over the Internet,
using a computer to work from home. They may never meet
their clients face to face, but work with them virtually in
the same capacity as a secretary. There are many agencies
that hire VA's, or you could go into business as a
freelance VA and market yourself.

These are just a few of the many ways you can use a
computer to work from home. Working from home is rewarding,
allowing you flexible scheduling and free time when you
need it. If you're interested in having more time to spend
with your friends and family, or would like to avoid a long
commute or the hassles of the corporate world, working from
home might be the answer for you. Using a computer to work
from home isn't difficult, and it just might be the best
decision you ever made!

Page Rank Addiction-Here are measurable numbers

Page Rank Addiction-Here are measurable numbers
In a recent update of how Google assigns authority, many
web sites were assigned a reduced rate based on Googles
Page Rank system. Google assigns a rating scale of 0 -10 as
a form of reputation for a web page. Page rank can be found
by the use of the Google toolbar.

Remember that Google ranks individual pages not sites. This
is why I always recommend a clean design, which gives every
page the same chance. Some database driven web sites don't
allow for this and even some marketing people don't agree.
When you are looking to dominate competitive markets you
need to apply this.

This change occurred after Google has voiced its dislike of
the purchase of paid links for the reason of influencing
natural search results. Business models have been based on
the buying and selling of links for the purpose of gaining
rank.

Many opinions had been made that these two events are
connected and they effect the ranking of web sites. This is
common opinion in the internet marketing area and provides
a distorted view of the world. Only an assessment of a
specific site can provide us real, measurable information.

One site that lost a large measure of its PR (Page Rank)
from a rating of 10 to 6 is statcounter.com In a keyword
assessment statcounter has over 3129 high keyword ranking
listings. One of the number one ranked keywords, is "web
stats".

Based on the Gtrends tool from the keyword research site,
Wordtracker.com, this word receives 18750 estimated
searches per month in Google. Statcounter has maintained
this top ranking both before and after the update.

This brings us the conclusion that the reduction of page
rank change was more of just a reshuffle of authority,
rather than a change of how Google ranks web sites. Other
sites that sell paid links have had similar outcomes.

Its important to have measurable, real information based on
facts rather that the guidance of a vastly out of date
tool, like page rank. I make it my goal to educate on
numbers rather than opinion of the masses.

Online their are many sites who state they are on SEO,
however they is such opinion floating around that you never
know where the truth comes- beware the opinion it will
drive you crazy. Numbers don't lie, if its your bank
account or in your traffic and sales conversion.

Mentors, Marketing Teams Up your Profits Online

Mentors, Marketing Teams Up your Profits Online
This article is for the average person who is starting out
in the Internet marketing business or simply looking into
it. If you are new, then you need to read this article
before you jump into the next thing that promises you the
moon. And most do. What if you had an insider's view into
the many products and services available BEFORE you decided
what product to sell? What if you had a mentor who was
available to you to help you through the learning curve?
There are truly great products and services available on
the Internet and there are also some great ways to promote
these products and services and make a whole lot of money
doing it. But there are also lots of scams and programs
that simply are very difficult to promote and actually make
money. But how can you know ahead of time?

Step one in deciding upon an Internet-based business is
finding out as much as you can about any product or service
before jumping in. Spend a little extra time in searching
for others' experience with the product and make sure it's
a product or service you are willing to put your time and
effort behind. Trying to sell something you are not
interested in will make your success less certain simply
because your interest in it will not be there for the long
run.

Step two is to ask yourself these questions; Do other
people need this product? Is it in high demand? Is there
a support system for you? How long will this product be
around? While not all products are designed to be around
forever, like software for example, others are products
that have a long term potential to bring in continuous
income for the unforseeable future. So think about your
product before you choose to promote it.

Step three in deciding your potential Internet home based
business is determined by how much experience you have in
the first place. If you are reading this article, you
probably were searching for home based business tips or
searching for a home based business to join. This means
you might be new to this idea of making money online. If
you are in the catergory of beginner to marketing and
advertising, here is the most important bit of advice I can
give to you. And that is to find a marketing team with a
central mentor who can teach your team the do's and don't's
of Internet marketing or affiliate marketing and
advertising online. And often, marketing is secondary
because the companies do all the marketing for you. All
you really have to do is drive traffic to your website.
Your primary job after becoming a product promoter or
affiliate is simply to drive traffic to your website.

Step four is to find a program that has support for you.
Keep this in mind. Some programs are 1up and 2up programs
that require you to pay your first and sometimes your
second sale to your upline sponsor. This is called a
"qualifying sale". While many programs are set up this
way, you must know ahead of time that you may be on your
own once you make those qualifying sales. Often in these
type scenarios, after your first sales are "given up" so to
speak to your sponsor, there is no motivation for your
sponsor to help you any more because at that point, you
become direct competiontion to your sponsor. Instead, you
are better off finding a program that you will experience
support from your sponsor for the long haul. This is the
type of program that I chose early on simply becasuse I
didn't know everything I needed to know to succeed.

Do you know how to drive traffic to your site once it is
up? What is the first or second thing and the fifth thing
you need to do to get targeted traffic to your website to
promote that new product? If you don't know the asnwer to
this question, that means you are in need of a mentor or
coach that will teach you all the steps and methods to
drive traffic to your website. The truth is, there are
very few mentors out there that are willing to give their
time to you.

And the fifth step is to drive traffic to your site every
day. Once you gain access to the top ways to drive
traffic, then selling the product is easy. But you must
learn the exact methods and tactics to drive quality or
"targeted" traffic to your site. These are people that are
already interested in the type of products you are
offering, and are more likely to buy what you are offering.
Then, virtually any product you choose, and you will
choose a good one because our team will show you which
programs are best, and you will know the 5-10 specific
things you must do to get people to your website and
ultimately, become a sale. If you can't think of 5 things
you must do right now to drive traffic to your sites, you
need a mentor who will take you by the hand and teach you
step by step what it is you need to do and how to do it
quickly. Don't you wish you had a mentor who could teach
you about all this stuff? I don't know how I could have
learned what I have learned without one. To your success!
