All You Ever Wanted To Know About Selling eBooks on eBay

All You Ever Wanted To Know About Selling eBooks on eBay
EBay provides a wonderful avenue to sell digital
informative products. One such product that is in huge
demand, and can tremendously increase your earnings is an
eBook. While some people are predicting doom for eBooks,
the sales statistics are providing a different picture.
While it wouldn't be fair to say that eBooks are going to
replace print, the fact is that eBooks are in huge demand,
and people all across the world are buying them. Selling
such a product on eBay has its own obvious advantages.

EBay has thousands of buyers across the world and provides
a dedicated traffic of people. Selling such a book on your
own by developing your own web site presence can be a very
difficult task, but all the traffic of prospective buyers
is readily available with eBay. All you need to do now is
grab their attention and turn it into dollars.

EBooks are highly popular with sellers as it is very easy
to compile a book, and get it ready for sale. An eBook can
be as small as 5-10 pages, which doesn't take much time to
prepare. With eBooks, you don't have to worry about
maintaining an inventory, and shipping the product. It can
be sent easily as a digital download to a person's mailbox,
which makes it easier and cheaper for both the buyer and
the seller. Thus you can sell the same product over and
over again without incurring any additional costs, and make
a huge profit. Most people are looking for information
online and if you can supply the information in an easy,
cheap and quick manner, then your business will succeed.
Ebooks can do just that.

There are a few mistakes that many people make while
selling eBooks on eBay. After negligible sales for a while,
they quit altogether. If you wish to avoid this path then
there are certain things that you should take care of-

Be Original- Whether it is your book or your way of
marketing, bring some originality into it. Most people do
things in a common manner, so try to be different. Have an
original book that targets a particular niche, and is put
together differently. While people are looking for
information, they are actually looking for new information.
Use the same principle in your marketing techniques.

Market Properly- Don't get into jargon and fancy
distractions. Offer proper information about your book and
do not try to misguide, or give irrelevant information by
beating around the bush. It is not wrong to use graphics,
and catchy headlines, but selectively. While marketing on
eBay is very cheap, and it provides good profits as
compared to any other method, remember that like in any
other business, you need to spend more to earn more. Spend
more money in things like getting a new template for your
eBay store, or the services of a professional writer to
write the content.

Search Engine Optimization Exposed

Search Engine Optimization Exposed
There are a many ways to increase your page rank and
increase your search engine optimization, otherwise known
as SEO. Before we discuss exactly what search engine
optimization is, let's talk a little bit about how search
engines work.

Search engines provide specific data that match the search
terms of users by sifting information and providing only
the most relevant results based on keywords or targeted
words and phrases.

Search engine results would be of no good to users if the
information they pulled up was either not relevant or
particularly outdated. People expect only the most recent
and targeted information in the search engine results.

If you update your web site each day and add relevant
information to it, the search engines will be more likely
to pick your web site up and rank it higher.

Optimizing your web site and keeping your pages fresh and
updated will boost traffic and sales because you will
achieve a higher page ranking. This is absolutely
imperative if you want to have success as an online
entrepreneur.

Search engine optimization, or SEO, means that a business
owner uses strategic copy to make sure that the search
engines pick up their website. It's a specific way for one
competitor to succeed over another, since competition for
page ranking has in itself created a huge market of its own.

The most effective way to increase your page rank is to
simply supply high-quality content consistently in your web
pages. This seems simple, but in fact, many online
businesses think that they can provide shoddy but "keyword
optimized" copy and still get the same results. This is not
true.

Your content must be well written, interesting, and
regularly updated so that visitors will keep coming back.
It will also help to increase word-of-mouth so that you can
draw more prospective customers to your web site.

While you want to make your web site fresh and interesting,
if you try to "sell" people or otherwise be flashy and it
isn't you, people will know this and simply go away. In
other words, for best search engine optimization, be real.

Next, you need to include what are called "high converting"
keywords and phrases in your content. This means that you
place keywords in your content so that search engines will
pick up your pages and place them high in search engine
rankings.

You used to be able to simply pepper your content with
keywords and achieve a high page ranking. Now, you must
strategically use keywords, because if you have too many,
the search engines will actually lower your page rank or
even drop you.

For best optimization, you want to shoot for about 3%
keyword content in your copy itself, and you want to place
the keyword(s) in the first and last paragraph as well.

Implementing a linking strategy as part of your SEO plan
will give you free advertising for your site. You will also
receive increased exposure and gain "expert" status as more
and more people link to your site. For every link that you
have pointing to your site, this is another chance for your
customer to find you. The more inbound links you have, the
higher your rank will be in search engines.

Formulate a strategy for your content because most people
who go online are looking for information, period. The more
helpful the information, the more likely they will become
eventual customers.

One of the best ways to do this is to write articles and
post them on your site and to other Web e-zines and
directories. Every page you add is another avenue for the
search engine to find you and thus rank you higher. This,
in turn, will draw even more visitors.

Make your site easy to navigate and the articles easy to
find. You can develop a menu that will clearly describe the
articles you write and arrange them by subject. This will
generate more traffic as you add pages to your site.

Search engine optimization is a critical component to
developing top page rankings. Done correctly, this one
technique can increase your site's exposure and popularity,
and in turn will drive traffic to your site that will help
your business succeed beyond your wildest dreams.

Generating qualified MLM leads

Generating qualified MLM leads
Generating good MLM leads is more of a skill than any other
thing. You have to know what it entails to generate and
direct the needed traffic to your MLM webpage. In looking
to generate qualified MLM leads, Patience and most
importantly knowledge are necessary. Luckily for those of
you starters, this article becomes an asset to you.

To start with, let's have a look at why you need to
actively be in search of qualified MLM leads and what leads
are widely used on the internet. A lead is more of a means
through which a site is spread out to internet users. There
are different kinds of leads as you would soon see.

Having a site with good leads often increases the chances
of that site been picked up by search engines.

There are 4 leads most MLM's use to direct traffic to their
sites:

Google Adwords

Google Adwords is a creative advertisement opportunity for
every website owner. Using Google Adwords for your MLM site
is definitely the most efficient and easy way to get your
website out and also bring in desired traffic. For you to
be successful with this, you'll need to be able to
determine working keywords for your site. These keywords
are what will form the backbone of your advertisement
campaign. Fortunately, there are services on the internet
able to provide you with good keywords and one of them is
www.wordtracker.com. Though the service on this site isn't
free, your money will be well-spent.

Press Releases

Press releases are important tools when written and
published correctly. Some Search Engine Experts believe
that a good press release is the fastest way to see
improvement in a web site's ranking status. This is
definitely no different for you into MLM. Have a copywriter
- preferably someone with good skills in writing press
releases- write one for you. Know that just as a press
release is the fastest way for you to progress on the
search engines, the competition with press releases is very
high so you'll need to be very selective when it comes to
selecting someone to write them for you. Once you have them
written, you can go on a submission campaign where you'll
submit your press release to as many online PR publishing
houses as you can.

Search Engine Optimized

Articles Keyword-packed or SEO articles are another way to
get the attention of search engines. You'll need a constant
supply of these articles to remain on top of competition.
It is also recommended that if you are using Google's
Adwords for the same site, you use the same keywords for
both.

Lead Capture Page

I am going to take you through a step -by- step approach to
use in directing traffic to your lead page. If you don't
already have a leading page, you should create one. A
leading or landing page is more of a home page where most
traffic to your site gets to. Because of the tendency of
most internet users to not have a look beyond your leading
page, it has become important for websites needing traffic
to have good persuasive information on their leading page.
Any good leading page should have - contact information of
the website, a convincing sales letter, a form. Extra
information may also be put on this page at the discretion
of the site owner.

Finding the Right Price

Finding the Right Price
One of the most difficult aspects of publishing a new ebook
has nothing to do with writing but is the task of
determining the price you will charge for your work. If you
price your ebook too high then probably few people will buy
it at all. If you price it too low, then many will get the
impression that it is of little value and still bypass
purchasing the ebook.

Finding that proper balance can involve a lot of study. If
your ebook contains a lot of new and valuable information,
then you can be justified in charging a premium rate. If,
however, the information is of a well covered topic then,
rather than attempt a specific charge, you may find it more
beneficial to offer it for free if it contains potentially
profitable links or is bundled with other products or
services that will command a higher price through the
customer having access to these links.

Both ebooks and traditional print books do share a common
denominator. While an electronic ebook can not offer fine
paper and a leather cover, it is the information inside
that is of the true value. New and unique information is of
course more in demand. Niche specific information can also
create a greater value and demand for your ebook if it
covers a seldom investigated market.

One must take into consideration just what they want their
ebook to do for them. If it is for a one time sale, then
you will need to promote your ebook heavily and change the
sales page frequently so that, if one appeal does not
succeed, you can try others. If your goal is to develop a
long term relationship with the purchasers, then going for
a lower price will profit you more in the long run from
future sales of other products or ebooks.

There are ways to test what the traffic will bear. Run a
limited campaign using the exact same sales copy on several
different sites with only the price being different. This
will give you an idea of the range people are willing to
pay. Make sure this different price is only at the "buy
now" page. So that if the ad is seen by one person an
several sites they will not know that the price is
variable, they will see only the price that is being run on
that specific ad. Once this is determined, then your major
sales campaign can commence using the price that seems to
work best for your ebook.

If you find your chosen price is not having the results you
desire, find a way to lower the price as a "holiday" or
"limited time" special. After you have found an acceptable
price, you will be able to eliminate the special and
continue promoting the ebook at the lower price without
having it too obvious that you have had to settle for less.
This can help avoid any hard feelings from customers who
did buy at the higher price as it is expected that, the
older the ebook is, the more likely a price drop will take
place naturally.

Choosing the Right Merchant Processor - What to Look For

Choosing the Right Merchant Processor - What to Look For
Almost all the businesses today accept credit cards. If
your business doesn't then its high time it began accepting
debit and credit cards, as they are being increasingly used
by customers to make purchases on account of the
convenience factor.

The credit card industry has revolutionized the way people
make their payments and are constantly coming out with new
innovations like cash-back bonuses, mileage credits, and
numerous others to make them more acceptable for customers.
Small, online business owners are circumspect about
processing sale on a credit card, because they are unsure
about choosing the right merchant processor.

Given below are a few tips that would help you select the
right merchant processor. So without further ado here they
are:

Your Business Bank can be a Good Option

Your search for a good merchant processor can end with the
bank you are doing business with. However, not all banks
offer merchant services to start-ups or new businesses. The
standard practice of most banks is to avoid offering
merchant processor services to a business that has been in
operation for less than a year.

However, if you can convince the bank, you can't choose a
safer merchant processor than where you do your business
banking.

Peer Referrals

Choose a merchant processor that your peers might refer to
you. A peer might have been using the services of
particular merchant processor company for a significant
period of time, and hence can give you his feedback and
enable you to make the correct choice.

The Transaction Fee and Percentage

You will find that there is not a single transaction fee
and percentage across all banks. The transaction fee and
percentage for credit card purchases as well as debit card
purchases differ from bank to bank. Do extensive research
on the specific rates offered by each bank pertinent to
specific cards like MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American
Express etc.

At times various businesses come together through a trade
association to negotiate rates with a merchant processor.
Herein, the processor might just charge less, as compared
to the existing market rates. Explore this opportunity to
see if you can get some benefits

The Independent Sales Organizations

Try not to choose those merchant processors who act as an
agent for an independent sales organization (ISO). Pick an
ISO who works with major banks. You won't go wrong there.
Your local chamber of commerce might be able to help you
out in this regard or the local board of trade.

The Primary Bank

Choose a merchant processor who is associated with a
big-time primary bank. This ensures good services and
timely payments to your checking account, which is an
absolutely must for any business.

Track-record and Clientele

Find out how long your merchant processor has been in
business. This should not be your only parameter of
selection, but it does give you a good indication of what
you can expect from the merchant processor. Moreover, it
will be infinitely easier to work with a well-established
merchant processor.

You must also try to get some idea about the clients who
have formed an association with a particular merchant
processor. The more the clients the better it will be. More
importantly if the processors have some big clients up
their sleeves, then the better for you.

Contract Length

Most banks would ask you to sign a 3 year contract. If this
is the case, then select the services of a bank that gives
you good rates with respect to the time frame. Always try
and choose the bank that offers you advantageous rates if
it asks for a long term contract.

Manual Processing of Cards

Choose a merchant processor who gives you an option to
manually process the cards. This makes for a great
convenience if you have a power cut.

Customer Support

Your merchant processor must be known for its superior
brand of customer support. The hours of operation must be
commensurate with the hours of functioning of your
business. You also might want to get in touch with your
merchant processor at odd hours at times, in case of
problems. Choose somebody by taking into account all these
aspects.

We hope these pointers would enable you to choose a
merchant processor who you can have a successful working
association with. Study all your options thoroughly before
making your choice.

How Beginners Can Survive In Affiliate Marketing

How Beginners Can Survive In Affiliate Marketing
Every affiliate marketer is always looking for the market
that will yield the biggest paycheck especially people new
to the industry. Some think they just need to find the
magic formula and while its more complicated than that,
there is a way to do it. You will find that good marketing
practices that have been proven over the years will be the
way to go.

There are tactics that have worked before with online
marketing and are still working today. With these top three
marketing tips, you will be able to survive and increase
your sales in the world of affiliate marketing online.

What are the top three tactics?

1. Using unique web pages to promote each separate product
you are marketing. Too many times marketers lump them all
together in order to save money on web hosting. It is
always best to have a site focusing on each and every
product by itself period.

Always include product reviews on the website so visitors
will have an initial understanding on what the product can
do for those who buy it. Also include real testimonials
from satisfied users of the product.

You can also write articles that highlight the uses of the
product. Make the pages attractive and compelling. Each
headline should attract the readers to try and read more.
Be sure to highlight your special points.

2. Offer free reports to your readers. If you can position
them at the top of the page so they cannot be missed. Its
important to create autoresponder messages that will be
emailed to those who input their personal information into
your sign up box. A prospect will always take more than one
look before making a decision to buy.

Only two outcomes can happen with the web pages alone.
Either you make a sale or the prospect leaves and never
returns. By placing helpful information into their email
inboxes in specific time periods you will remind them of
your product. Be sure that the content is specific towards
the reason they should buy the product. Do not make it
sound like a sales pitch.

Focus on important points like how your product will make
their lives easier and more enjoyable. Compelling subject
lines will get them to read the email. Avoid using the word
"free" because some spam filters will dump your email into
the junk folder before they even get read.

3. Get targeted traffic to your product. Writing articles
for publication in e-zines and e-reports. This way you can
target customers based on what publications they read and
get them interested in your product.

Try to write a minimum of two articles per week. With at
least 300-600 words in length. By continuously writing and
maintaining articles you can generate as many as 100
targeted readers to your site in a day. The general rule is
that only 1 out of 100 people are likely to buy your
product. If you can generate as much as 1,000 targeted hits
for your website in a day or a week. That means you could
make 10 sales.

The tactics given above are not really that hard to do. It
just requires time and a plan of action on your part.

Try to use these tips for several different affiliate
marketing programs. And in the end you can end up with a
good source of income and be able to survive in this
business that not all marketers can do successfully. Keep
being consistent and the big paychecks will come your way.

Affiliate Internet Marketing Explained

Affiliate Internet Marketing Explained
What is affiliate internet marketing? There are many
different companies that offer products for sale. There are
literally thousands of them in existence. However, some
companies need help in selling their products, which is
where affiliates come in. Affiliates are independent
representatives of a company. They work to sell services
and products of other companies for a profit. Many people,
just like you, are looking for a way to make money from
home, without having to create their own products and
services, which is why they turn to affiliate internet
marketing.

With affiliate internet marketing, you sign up as an
affiliate for a company that you find interesting and
enjoyable. In most cases, depending on the company and what
they have to offer, it is free to join as an affiliate.
After signing up, the company will send you a great deal of
information. This will include a login name and password,
for signing into your back office. It will also include a
personalized link that is exclusively for you. This link is
used to determine your earnings, your traffic, and your
sales. The companies generally use an affiliate program
that allows them to automatically track these figures and
produce reports on a regular basis.

Then, as an affiliate, it is up to you how you get started
in earning your money. For instance, most affiliates place
their link, along with a text advertisement or banner on
their own website. Affiliates might also place the banner
on other websites, directories, or even in the signature
line of their email. It is important to promote the company
in order to start getting sales or visits to your affiliate
link. In a nut shell, this is how affiliate internet
marketing works. There are plenty of resources on the web
to help you get started and best affiliate programs have
their tools to help affiliate marketing on internet.

This is a great way for people who are looking to earn an
extra income, without having to create their own products
or services to get started. What is great is that you could
become an affiliate for multiple companies, which brings
you an increased opportunity to earn a profit on your terms
and your basis. When looking into affiliate internet
marketing, you will want to look for companies that are
reliable, offer a real and valuable product or service, and
have a proven track record.

Blogging: Not That There's Anything Wrong With It

Blogging: Not That There's Anything Wrong With It
Blogs (aka Weblogs) are essentially online journals or
diaries which are configured for distributing information
and ideas. It allows for easy and instantaneous publishing
of content to a website whereby all entries can be place
into category's making the search process nice and easy.

The simplicity of publishing, the degree of functionality,
and the cohesion with other bloggers, establish blogs as
just one phase of the modern evolution that is occurring
within the online marketing and promotional ranks.

Blogging as frequently as possible lets you populate your
archives with content while generating traffic organically
from search engines. Search engines feast generously on the
robust content from blogs. A search engine views a blog as
being the perfect content based management solution.
Interestingly enough a variety of people have found
stimulating ways to create cash flow with them.

Placing Google ads is an outstanding selection to earn some
money while maintaining ads on your blog that are pertinent
to the subject at hand. The setup goes like this: Google
places an ad or link on the pages of the blog and if a
visitor clicks on the ad, you receive compensation for set
dollar amount for each advertisement.

Even though a few clicks won't make you an overnight
millionaire, if you consistently provide top notch quality
content on your blog you will continue to attract visitors
that will read and click on your ads, creating some easy
passive income.

There are a plenty of free blogging websites to select from
and the majority offer simplistic templates that enable you
to enter your insightful content and click on the submit
button. The most thought provoking and time consuming
aspect of this process is judging which category your blog
will go under, and then furnishing captivating content each
time you decide to post.

Just relax and brainstorm a few other strategies you can
add to your blogs to make them more appealing. Even if you
obtain the most popular blogger status, you do not want to
come across as a disingenuous person that would write
anything just because you were crying out for the hits.

You may happen upon unbridled talent from blogging. Or you
may find that you connect with people from your blogs and
discover that the world is much larger and logically
smaller than what you once perceived. Money can be created
through your blogging, but more often than not, you'll find
it can just be an extraordinary passage and a mode to meet
people that partake in your opinions.

How To Find The Best Home Business Idea

How To Find The Best Home Business Idea
With the growing number of home businesses available today
it is easy to do some comparison shopping. This article
provides some great tips and helpful hints for things to
consider when coming up with the best home business idea
for you.

Here is the article.

1. You may be tempted to think that the money you make is
the most important thing. However I would submit to you,
that first and foremost, when shopping for a home business
idea the product should be the first thing you consider.

With so many home businesses online today you need some way
to able to separate yourself from the pack. One way to do
that is to offer an outstanding product that is not being
sold by everyone else. Even with affiliate marketing, it is
possible to come up with some unique ideas, that does not
have the market flooded with affiliates all doing the same
thing.

When it comes to the product you want to sell a product
that people want. Secondly you are looking for a product
that they need. Many products are sold on the Internet
today based on wants first and needs secondly.

Your goal is to come up with a home business idea that
offers an outstanding product that delivers one of these
two things.

2. Your home business should allow you to make immediate
income and residual income. Residual income is income that
allows you to get paid over and over for doing the work one
time. Immediate income is income that you can take to the
bank right away.

I think you can see why this is important as unique cash
flow allows you to build your business today, but you also
want to be able to create a walkaway income for yourself
down the road.

3. The final thing we want to add here is finding a home
business that offers support. This should include practical
training to help you be successful, as well as emotional
support for the days when your business is not doing as
well as you would like to.

Because of the competition on the Internet today it is
important that you have a support system in place that will
assure your success if you are willing to work hard every
day.

This is three things that are important when you are
searching for the best home business idea for yourself. It
really comes down to finding a quality product, being able
to make money with that product, and having a system in
place to help you market your product on the Internet.

Do Most Network Marketing Business Models Really Work For the Average Joe?

Do Most Network Marketing Business Models Really Work For the Average Joe?
If you asked this question to most people, the answer would
be a resounding no. We've all been attracted by the huge
potential payouts and the residual income; however, most
people have never made a dime after being reeled in by the
hype and let down by the reality.

The reality is that people fail. It's easy to be
enthusiastic just after signing up and dreaming of the big
bucks. You have all these ideas whirling around in your
head and you know so many people who "need" this program to
turn their lives around. You call your first prospect and
give your best sales pitch only to be shot down by how this
is "one of those pyramid schemes", "you're never going to
make any money", etc. It gets a little tougher each time
to pick up the phone and call another of your prospects and
each one of them makes you doubt yourself a little more.
Just convincing someone to attend an opportunity meeting or
get on a three-way call with your up-line is nearly
impossible, especially since your initial enthusiasm is
fading. After a short while you stop trying to recruit.
Your business NEVER takes off. You NEVER make any money.

How do we overcome the pitfalls of this business in order
to reap the rewards? If you have ever looked at the sales
process and wondered why some fail and some succeed, it is
very simple. People are the deciding factor in how
successful the process is or isn't. If we could remove the
"human" element, then we could have a higher conversion
rate. This way of thinking goes against everything we've
always heard about recruiting but doesn't it make sense?
If somehow we could get our message to people in a
professional manner without having to become the super
salesperson ourselves, maybe we stand a chance. Is it
possible? After many years of failing and countless
thousands of dollars wasted, I've finally found a way to
succeed

Ty Coughlin, an experienced online marketer, along with a
group of serious internet entrepreneurs called the inner
circle, realized that in order for them to be able to
really control how successful they became, they had to
figure out how to get "people" out of the sales process.

The group has spent the last few years designing and
testing while investing hundreds of thousands of dollars in
the components of the Reverse Funnel System.

This unique internet product does all of the marketing for
you. It sorts prospects, delivers highly specific traffic
to your account, and converts them to buyers. His turnkey
program offers unparalleled sophistication with individual
websites, auto responders, automatic campaign tracking, web
training classes, etc.

In other words, if you can advertise, the website will do
the selling for you. No prospecting. No cold calling. No
selling. Just plug and play.

The important thing is to not give up. If you have a
computer and can follow a system, you can have a very
successful online Network Marketing business. Best of luck.

Top 5 Best Methods to Promote your Home Based Business

Top 5 Best Methods to Promote your Home Based Business
There are many effective ways to promote your home based
business. Many of which are free or very cost efficient
and if used correctly, will bring you a great amount of
traffic to your web site. I could go into great detail on
all the wonderful promotion methods, but instead I will
spare you the read of a thirty page book and touch briefly
on what I believe to be the top five: Forum marketing,
blogging, pay per click, article marketing, and e zines.
Heres a brief look at each in no particular order.

1) Forum marketing - Forum marketing is a great way to
spread the word of your home based business by
communicating with other people with similar businesses on
a daily basis. By posting topics and answering questions
you will begin to build a rapport of your name and
business. Once people respect your insight and answers,
they will start to trust you as an authority figure. Once
you are a trusted authority you can find ways to sell your
information and services and begin to make money from
people on the forum by using your signature that is
included in every post you make.

2) Blogging - Posting on a blog on a daily or weekly basis
can be extremely beneficial to your home based business.
You can advertise what ever you want with what ever words
you choose to use. There are also many blog communities on
the net that you can join and share your blog with others.
If people read your blog post and like what they see, most
likely they will be back to check it out again. A blog can
also be used as a referring spot to send your e zine list
to when promoting a certain program or product.

3) Pay per click - Pay per click programs are
opportunities for guaranteed visitors from most of the
major search engines. For a certain price, you will get a
number of acquired clicks to whatever site you are
promoting. Pay per click can be an extremely effective
method to use because the people clicking on your site are
highly targeted visitors. Most of the pay per click
programs allow you to set up a daily budget so you get the
exact number of clicks you pay for. Selecting non
competitive key words and setting up a daily budget are
essential to making this type of promotion work for your
home based business.

4) Article Marketing - This is the cheapest and maybe the
most effective method to promote your home based business.
In fact, article marketing is absolutely free if you
manually submit your articles to the article directories.
Using this method will benefit your home based business in
two ways. First, the readers of your articles who are
genuinely interested in your writing may click on your
url's in the resource box and you will get targeted traffic
that way. Secondly, over time, article marketing will
allow you to build many back links to your web page. The
back links you build will ultimately help your organic
ranking in the search engines which will bring you the same
targeted visitors as PPC but this method won't cost
anything.

5) Solo ezine ads - Using this method will also give
whatever program or product you are promoting immediate and
high exposure. Ezines are groups of people who opted in to
your own or someone else's newsletter. In a sense it is
just a list of targeted email addresses. There are
directories of ezines with thousands of email addresses
that will sell a one time or solo ad to this large group of
people. To be effective with this method you must look at
the cost of the add versus the conversion ratio. If you
pay one hundred dollars for an add to 1000 people and are
selling a ten dollar product, to break even you need to
convert just ten out of that thousand.

There you go, my top 5 best methods to promote your home
based business! There are many others which are worth
looking into but using a combination of the aforementioned
will help you maximize your earning potential online. If
you have a home based business and are looking to
advertise, these five are a tested and proven way to make
money online. Getting exposure now will help establish
long term success for your home based business. Get
started today!

An Autopilot Home Business Opportunity Online : Is It Possible?

An Autopilot Home Business Opportunity Online : Is It Possible?
It's the dream of billions of internet marketers worldwide
to run a home business opportunity online completely on
autopilot. What easier way to make money than to set up an
online business, put it on cruise control, and put your
feet up while the cash rolls in?

Many salespeople make claims that if you join their home
business opportunity online, then you will earn the big
bucks on autopilot. But c'mon! Get real! Is that really
possible?

We'd like to think so, so many of us will jump into these
opportunities without a thought. Others will do some
careful research first, and then jump into it. How are any
of us really going to know for sure if we don't try the
home business opportunity online out for ourselves?

Well after I jumped in and became an online business owner
for a couple of years now, I realized that the autopilot
income from the home business opportunity online was not
going to come easy. Thing is, it does eventually come!

The trick to making money with your home business
opportunity online is to work hard, and put the time,
energy, and effort into building an online presence. You
need to take the time to build relationships with your
customers, and establish yourself respectfully in the
online business world.

How much time, energy, and effort do you have to expend to
get to the autopilot profits? It depends how much you want
to make online and what your goals are. If you want to
work a home business opportunity online as a stream of
part-time income in addition to your regular full-time job,
then you don't have to put so much into it.

Earning income part-time from your online business is a
great way to start out. This way, you won't get
overwhelmed and discouraged. In my experience, I would
suggest putting at least one solid year of hard effort and
time into your home business opportunity online. No less
than one year!

This will help you get your feet off the ground and be
established as an internet marketing survivor, as there are
very few who start a home business opportunity online, and
make it past their first year in business without quitting.

After the one-year mark, you will start to make a profit,
and into your next year, you should see a gradual rise in
your monthly income. Running a home business opportunity
online can be done on autopilot after this initial hard
effort. I know, because I'm doing it!

As time goes on, it will only get easier for you, and the
more initial work you put into it, the more it will pay off
down the road. Do you have to continue the same hard
effort throughout the life of your business to succeed?

The answer is yes, you do have to maintain some consistency
of time and effort that you put into your home business
opportunity online if you expect to see results. But the
amount you put in will be less and less the longer you are
in business.

In order to get to the autopilot status with your home
business opportunity online, there are a few things you
should do.

The best method that has gotten me to this status is by
writing and submitting articles to the article directories
and publishers across the net using researched keywords and
keyword phrases within your articles that will be picked up
by the search engines. This method is key at getting links
pointing back to your site.

This is what you want for your home business opportunity
online if you expect to make sales: Links, links, and more
links pointing back to your sites, blogs, and sales pages.

In addition to writing articles, you can make frequent blog
posts, comment on other people's blogs, submit your links
to link directories, circulate lead capture pages in
traffic exchanges, and contribute to the discussions
happening in discussion forums in your home business niche.

These are really the only methods I use to earn a monthly
autopilot income from my home business opportunity online.
Can you really run a business on autopilot? The answer is
yes, you can put your feet up and earn money online while
you sleep! Just remember that you have to work hard for
over a year, and not totally neglect your business after
that.

Finding the One True Thing in Network Marketing

Finding the One True Thing in Network Marketing
I have been marketing on the internet for over five years
and building my Network Marketing business. Over the years
I have met a lot of interesting folks. Some of those
interactions remind me why the Network Marketing Industry
is so problematic for so many people…the dark underbelly of
Network Marketing.

It is not unusual for Network Marketers to go to my site
and fill out the form in an attempt to cross-recruit me
into their business. These are people who seek to
capitalize upon rather than solve the problem of the known
attrition rate in the industry and never stop to ask
themselves whether it is good for their business to build
with people who can be enticed away from their current
enterprises.

I think by now I have pretty much seen it all: the brash
distributor from A.C.N Canada who had his brother hit
sites. Follow up and you get Mr. Brash who's pitch went
something like. "you gotta %^&*($#join me. I am at the top
of the compensation plan. Money talks &$%# walks!" The
couple, with the Travel Biz who would like for you to join
them because they are at the top of their compensation
plan. The wife fills out the forms online, the husband
answers the phone. Then there is the couple with 700
people in their downline. They are not making money
because no-one is buying, using or selling the product.
People are people. There is even a distributor or two at
the top of my company who will go to crossline distributors
and offer to train them personally…the catch, of course, is
that they quit their business and join their downline.
Ah, well, such is life.

Something happened recently, though, that inspired me to
write this article. Last night I responded to a gentleman
from Michigan who went to my site. He told me that he had
already found an opportunity. I was following up with him
less than 48 hours after he went to my site. I thought,
"wow, kid you are getting slow." Intending to wish him
luck and let him go, I asked him which business he decided
to join. Big Ticket to Wealth was his answer. Before I
could say, "goodbye and goodluck", he said, "would an extra
$1000 to $3000 per day interest you?" I had to laugh.

Several years ago I had the priviledge of sitting next to a
couple on a plane. They were a former pilot and flight
attendant with the now-defunct Pan AM. They were at the top
of their then company, Excel. I was with my first network
marketing company. We got to talking, they did not pitch
me on their company. Instead they said, that the biggest
mistake that people make is leaving their company for a
"better opportunity". It is well known in the industry
that the longer you stay with your company the better your
odds of success. "As a policy, we don't cross-recruit."
They went on to say that most people join a company for
solid reasons. Unless the company betrays them in some way
or those reasons genuinely change, folks should stay the
course.

That encounter stuck with me. They gave me awesome advice.
Network marketing is a hard business. There are days of
disappointment and there are "championship days". There
are weeks of 4 figure checks and the surprise missed pay
day. My first company did betray me and several thousand
other distributors and I had to move on.

Hopping from company to company no matter the hype is one
sure way to lose and lose big in network marketing. I know
many people in the industry who were with 3-4 companies
over a decade. They spent more time out of the industry
than in. They learned from each opportunity and allowed
time to produce the maturity they needed before going into
a new opportunity. One of my dear friends was introduced
to network marketing over 14 years ago. She was never with
a company longer than 6 months, and found success with her
fourth company. After 2 years of failure in her fourth and
final company, she found the maturity to transform her
business and move to the top of that company.

She found the "one true thing" in Network Marketing.

I found my current opportunity and have stayed with it. I
joined my team because my team has systems of success. I
got started with my company because it has a solid
reputation, products systems and services. I had just a
little wealth and wanted more. Now I have so much more
wealth and freedom because I found the one true thing in
network marketing: success belongs to those who pick their
company well and have the personal maturity to draw that
line in sand and make their stand where they are.

Affiliate Marketing and The Power of Seven

Affiliate Marketing and The Power of Seven
Are you interested in being an Affiliate Marketer? Then,
perhaps you have everything you already need to succeed.
You must have drive, perseverance and diligence, as well as
discipline. This is because you need to know how the system
works and then put in the time and effort to actually make
it succeed.

Having a unique and interesting web site that customers
will want to see is a good start, however, one of the most
important tools to success is that you must be able to
drive traffic to your site. Simply put, in the Internet
world, traffic is king. This is what you need in order to
survive, even thrive, as an Affiliate Marketer.

Getting prospects who can turn into customers to come to
your web site can be a difficult thing to do. Competition
is everywhere, and everyone wants the traffic you want for
themselves as well. Because you have so much competition,
each with a better product to offer than the last, you have
to be able to stand out from the crowd.

How do you do this?

Here is a list I like to call: "The Power Of Seven" to
drive laser targeted traffic to your own web site.

First, develop an opt-in e-mail list. This will give you a
list of subscribers that you can send out personalized
newsletters to, and you can also let them know about new
products and services you might be selling. This, in turn,
keeps your customer base steady and provides your potential
customers with something of use to them as well.

Second, start an affiliate program. If your affiliates do
most of the work for you, you'll gain large amounts of
traffic with very little effort. In addition, you're not
losing money out of pocket, since your affiliates are paid
a percentage of sales instead of a salary. More sales can
come as a result, and both affiliates and you benefit. This
means that it's win-win for everyone.

Third, consider joint venture marketing. This can be one of
the most powerful ways to promote a product or service. If
you acquire a partner through an ad swap or link exchange,
it helps both of you, because it allows you to reach a
broad potential market in very little time.

Fourth, write your own articles and include your web site
address at the end of the articles. Then, post these
articles in various article directories and submit them to
various e-zines. This is a free way to market your web site
(except for the time you put in) that also provides readers
a benefit through the content of your articles. Make sure
your articles are especially good, because it will
encourage readers to visit your web site simply out of
interest. This, in turn, may actually encourage them to
purchase your product or service.

Fifth, seek out other webmasters and do what is called a
link exchange partnership. By locating web sites related to
your own and then exchanging links with them, you help each
other out.

Once you have established a relationshiop, keep the lines
of communication open by personalizing everything as much
as you can. By doing a reciprocal link exchanges between
you and these webmasters, you increase traffic for both of
you.

Sixth, you need to know about search engines. Search
engines are the lifeblood of the Internet. They are what
can make or break your success in affiliate marketing. Why
is this so? Because if people can't find you (which they do
by performing keyword searches in search engines), they
can't buy your product, no matter how good it is.

You are going to need a top search engine ranking to be
successful. An excellent way to do this is to build
popularity links. You also need the proper keywords, so
that anybody who types one of your keywords into the search
engine will have your page list near the top.

Seventh, know your market thoroughly. You want targeted
traffic to come to your site because they have a particular
interest in the theme of your web site, and thus your
product or service. This is how you build a strong customer
base; once a prospective customer has shown an interest in
your web site, let him know how much you appreciate his
visit.

In short, for you to have the best success in affiliate
marketing, you must generate traffic to your web site. If
you plan carefully and make adjustments as necessary, it
will make your undertaking a success.

As long as you give people relevant content, your products
are valuable, and people know where to go to buy them, your
success will basically make itself happen. Plan ahead and
keep yourself on the right path.

Make Money Online Checklist

Make Money Online Checklist
After five years of doing Internet marketing I feel
qualified to talk about this subject. To make money online
there are a five things you absolutely have to have.

In this article we will look at my make money online
checklist to help you make more money on the Internet.

1. You really need a computer with high speed internet if
at all possible. When it comes to making money online time
is money. If you are wasting time with a slow Internet
connection, and an outdated computer, you need to do
everything in your power to take care of that.

You will be amazed at how much can get done with high-speed
Internet and a good quality computer. I would include in
this getting a large monitor if possible because you will
be spending a lot of time looking at.

2. Having a quality product is a reflection on you. It
means everything to your business. When you first start out
it is important that you sell a product that you can make
money on immediately.

You also want a product you have a personal attachment to.
Pre-selling has become extremely important on the Internet
as website visitors sift through all of the options that
your competitors are offering.

You want a product that you can make immediate income on,
and that offers some sort of residual income as well. If
you can find something that combines these two you will be
setting yourself up for a very nice monthly income today
and down the road too!

3. A website or landing page, and a blog of your own is
imperative! One common mistake people who do affiliate
marketing and network marketing make is they use the
company replicated website.

It will be important to your business that you come up with
a website or a landing page, and a blog of your own. A blog
can help you attract visitors with social bookmarking as
well as search engine traffic. Your landing page will be
important in your follow up efforts for future sales.

4. Do you know what an autoresponder is? Here is one simple
point you need to understand. Everyone who comes to your
website is going to leave. Your goal is to capture as many
names and email addresses as possible for future follow-up.

Having a quality list is a very important tool to creating
long term income online. To make money online today, and
tomorrow, you must put some of your efforts into building
an email marketing list. Your autoresponder is the best way
to do that!

5. Finally you must have an effective advertising campaign.
The number one reason people fail to make money on the
Internet is they just do not get enough visitors to their
website. Your goal is to find one method of marketing
online that you enjoy, and then learn everything you can
about it.

For immediate traffic you need to develop a pay per click
advertising campaign. For long term residual traffic
article marketing and forum marketing are two very
effective methods that you will want to develop eventually
as well.

Although this is not a very long article this is a make
money online checklist you can use to pattern your Internet
business after. Whether you want to make a couple hundred
dollars a month more, or create a six figure income, you
can do it online using these five tips.
