I am writing to encourage you seniors - oldie newbies -
like me to search out home based opportunities online.
Particularly if you are broke (I know, that's a relative
term). But I urge you to look at home based ideas. I
featured Paul Zane Pilzer, world famous economist, last
time to impress you with the millionaire explosion that he
predicts is about to take place. This guy is never wrong.
His predictions again:
The internet has barely gotten started and people who work
from home will be the next millionaires.
There are opportunities not to be missed whether you are an
'oldie newbie', have just been laid off or have a real need
to do something. OK, the online technology can be
overwhelming for us but we've all got grandchildren or know
some whizzkid who can help.
If you grab an online opportunity you could become
financially independent for real this time. More so than
you can imagine. It's the same message for everyone.
A word of caution though. I am talking about a business and
everything that means. It's not playing - it's serious
stuff. If you have some business know how - that's great.
If you don't then you need to get some.
As in mainstream business you need some savvy. Internet
marketing is like the wild west - largely unregulated.
There are scams everywhere.
You must find a mentor you can trust. Then follow his/her
advice and focus on that. You will be bombarded from every
angle. Don't buy into everything! If you trust your mentor
- focus on what is being taught and stick with it.
Will you miss out on other good opportunities? Probably,
but you can pursue those when you have more experience -
and have some money left.
Don't listen to the hype. If someone is tempting you with a
'one time only' sales pitch - and it will take you away
from your focus - let it go. Use an old maxim - if it is a
good idea now then it will be a good idea later.
If it's not there later, tough. There will be newer and
greater opportunities to come. Remember Paul Zane Pilzer:
"the internet has barely gotten started". Ideas and
opportunities will abound that haven't even been thought of
yet.
Focus - that word again. Get your experience first. Then
you can diversify later. And the opportunities in the
future will be even better.
You see, I don't want you to become disillusioned and give
up. You maybe nearly broke now - no need to make it worse
by chasing after everything. There's time - remember: "the
internet has barely gotten started".
Back to Mr Pilzer and his predictions:
- We're in the midst of a boom in home-based businesses and
it shows no sign of letting up.
- The greatest opportunities today are to go into business
for yourself as an entrepreneur.
- Before you invest in anything else, exhaust the
possibilities of investing in your own business first.
- The single most important trait for financial success is
the capacity to willingly delay gratification.
You can see from this that you need to invest time, some
money and be patient.
"But I'm retired - I've done with all that. I need results
now while there's still time to enjoy it".
Hey, I'm not saying that this is for everybody. You might
be happy in your retirement. Then this is not for you. But
if you are broke and want/need to do something - an online
business is a great opportunity right now!
Think you're too old - not enough time left? Think again.
Everybody is living longer these days. You might have 20-30
years to go. Now that's a long time to be broke.
