7 Rules Of An Effective Newsletter To Live By

7 Rules Of An Effective Newsletter To Live By
There are so many people all over the world who have tried
to make money online but failed. One simple reason is
because they didn't know that getting an email list of
subscribers is an important aspect to their long term
online success.

One of the well known ways of making money online from home
is by having your very own website. One of the top secrets
of Internet marketing gurus is that they have an opt-in
email list of subscribers who gave them personal permission
to send them periodic e-newsletters.

If you really want to succeed on the Internet in the short
and long term, getting your own opt in email newsletter is
very important.

Here are 7 Rules of Effective Newsletter to Live By. If you
are going get your own list, then you want to do things the
right way.

1) It would be a good idea to always have a form on your
website that allows anyone to subscribe to your list. Never
buy a list from anyone because doing this will damage your
reputation online. If you were to send an email to a list
who never gave you their personal permission to email them,
that would be called SPAM. You don't want to go this way.

2) Sent your subscribers emails with good content and info
in it every few days. Don't just go out and send your
subscribers emails every single day just because you want
to make more money as fast as you can. This will annoy many
of them and may result in people opting out of your
database.

3) People will stick with you for the long term if your
newsletter is useful, fresh and relevant to them. Don't
send them garbage. Give your readers what they want and not
what you think they want.

4) People love reading good and fresh content such as an
article. If you are going to send them an article once a
week or once every 2 weeks, don't just copy and paste that
article into an email. It is much better if you create a
page that they can go to if they want to read it.

5) Instead of using "My, ours, me" in the newsletter, focus
on the "You, your". When you say "You, your", these are
very magical words that you should be using in your
newsletter. People who subscribe to your newsletter are
doing this for themselves and not for you. They are
searching for a solution for what ever problem that they
have.

6) Never share, or sell your list to anyone. This is
another thing that you should never do. Some webmasters
like to share their list with other webmasters. Webmaster A
who owns the list may sell an ad space to webmaster B when
they send a newsletter out. If you want to create a
personal relationship with your list, then don't share it
with others for a fee.

7) Not every person that subscribes to your newsletter will
want to stick around forever. They will, at some point,
want to leave your data base. it is a very good idea to
allow the reader to un-subscribe at anytime. Provide an
un-subscribe link at the end of every newsletter that you
send out. If a subscriber emails you and requests to be
removed, do this right away. Don't start to ask "WHY"? Just
do it.
