before you jump into the next thing that promises you the
moon. And most do. What if you had an insider's view into
the many products and services available BEFORE you decided
what product to sell? What if you had a mentor who was
available to you to help you through the learning curve?
There are truly great products and services available on
the Internet and there are also some great ways to promote
these products and services and make a whole lot of money
doing it. But there are also lots of scams and programs
that simply are very difficult to promote and actually make
money. But how can you know ahead of time?
Step one in deciding upon an Internet-based business is
finding out as much as you can about any product or service
before jumping in. Spend a little extra time in searching
for others' experience with the product and make sure it's
a product or service you are willing to put your time and
effort behind. Trying to sell something you are not
interested in will make your success less certain simply
because your interest in it will not be there for the long
run.
Step two is to ask yourself these questions; Do other
people need this product? Is it in high demand? Is there
a support system for you? How long will this product be
around? While not all products are designed to be around
forever, like software for example, others are products
that have a long term potential to bring in continuous
income for the unforseeable future. So think about your
product before you choose to promote it.
Step three in deciding your potential Internet home based
business is determined by how much experience you have in
the first place. If you are reading this article, you
probably were searching for home based business tips or
searching for a home based business to join. This means
you might be new to this idea of making money online. If
you are in the catergory of beginner to marketing and
advertising, here is the most important bit of advice I can
give to you. And that is to find a marketing team with a
central mentor who can teach your team the do's and don't's
of Internet marketing or affiliate marketing and
advertising online. And often, marketing is secondary
because the companies do all the marketing for you. All
you really have to do is drive traffic to your website.
Your primary job after becoming a product promoter or
affiliate is simply to drive traffic to your website.
Step four is to find a program that has support for you.
Keep this in mind. Some programs are 1up and 2up programs
that require you to pay your first and sometimes your
second sale to your upline sponsor. This is called a
"qualifying sale". While many programs are set up this
way, you must know ahead of time that you may be on your
own once you make those qualifying sales. Often in these
type scenarios, after your first sales are "given up" so to
speak to your sponsor, there is no motivation for your
sponsor to help you any more because at that point, you
become direct competiontion to your sponsor. Instead, you
are better off finding a program that you will experience
support from your sponsor for the long haul. This is the
type of program that I chose early on simply becasuse I
didn't know everything I needed to know to succeed.
Do you know how to drive traffic to your site once it is
up? What is the first or second thing and the fifth thing
you need to do to get targeted traffic to your website to
promote that new product? If you don't know the asnwer to
this question, that means you are in need of a mentor or
coach that will teach you all the steps and methods to
drive traffic to your website. The truth is, there are
very few mentors out there that are willing to give their
time to you.
And the fifth step is to drive traffic to your site every
day. Once you gain access to the top ways to drive
traffic, then selling the product is easy. But you must
learn the exact methods and tactics to drive quality or
"targeted" traffic to your site. These are people that are
already interested in the type of products you are
offering, and are more likely to buy what you are offering.
Then, virtually any product you choose, and you will
choose a good one because our team will show you which
