Three Online Marketing Tips for the Stay at Home Mom

Three Online Marketing Tips for the Stay at Home Mom
I can relate to your position if you are a stay at home mom
that is looking for an extra income. It can be really
frustrating to go through website after website, reading
all of the outrageous claims that businesses are making
regarding all of the millions that their online business
opportunity can do for you. I was just like you and spent
so much time figuring out what business opportunity would
be best for me and then once I got there, I knew nothing
about how to make this business succeed. Probably the most
important advice that I have received were some tips on how
to market my business and my website. I'd like to share
those tips with you and make you aware of what you could be
doing to drive more traffic to your website.

An good friend, who is also very successful with her
internet business, shared these 3 things with me. Three
things that would be easy for me to do and would drive more
traffic to my website and help me market my business.

1. Learn the advantage of article writing. Article
writing is a free way to get your online business name
known. If you have already started an online business,
then you have a article subject. Write articles about the
same subject as your business and then post your articles
on free article websites. You will have the opportunity to
put all of your information, including a link to your
website, as a tag on the bottom of each article that you
submit. If your readers like your article enough, they
might just be inclined to click on your link and read about
your products. The more people that click through to your
website the better rankings you get with the search
engines. There are also article submission sites that will
assist in submitting your article to many sites with in
minutes.

2. Networking can be done anywhere, this includes online
or offline. If you are talking about networking online,
then joining some social websites could be a good way to do
this. Sites like myspace.com offer communities of people
that you could reach out to. Always include your website
link in the profile that you create. Just because you have
an online business does not mean that your networking has
to be limited to online options. You should take every
opportunity that you have in your day to day life to let
people know about your business. Make up some cards with
your website on them and attend community meetings that
might pertain to your business.

3. Blogging can be a good thing, even though it may seem
as if blogging is just for the casual user, it can actually
be a really good way to form business relationships. Write
your own blogs and also comment and answer questions on
others blogs and you might find yourself becoming more
visible by the minute. Also, this can help to establish
you as an expert in your field, which will increase your
website traffic as well. And there are sites that will
distribute your blog to all the main blog sites with in
minutes.

Hopefully, these hints have helped you as much as they
helped me when I first started out with an online business.
The whole internet business world can be kind of scary,
but just jump in and give it a try and you might find that
it can also be very rewarding for your soul as well as your
pocketbook.
