Since I have been looking at big-ticket items to sell I
decided to come up with my own online money making program
checklist. This really can apply to any program, and you
might even want to make a checklist of your own.
In this article let's look at four things that I consider
important before I join a program that is going to help me
make money on the Internet.
1. Is the product really good? I list the product first,
because many times people get caught up in the excitement
of making money. They really should be looking at the
product they will be selling.
From a long term standpoint the product is what will
sustain the company itself and your business individually.
The product should satisfy a want and be something that
people are spending money on already. If it can satisfy a
need, that is important as well, but people always buy a
wants first.
Money making programs are geared to promote the business
opportunity, but the product that comes with that should be
carefully looked at as well.
I personally like internet based products because they
offer instant access and require no shipping. For this
reason information products and membership programs appeal
to me.
2. Can I make money quickly? I have found this to be a very
important question because people that do not make money
quickly in their business will end up losing interest and
quit.
If you are promoting a home business as your primary online
money making program it is important that people are able
to generate cash.
There are a number of programs that now offer instant
commissions. With affiliate marketing, you used to have to
wait anywhere from 30 to 60 days on average from the time
you made a sale until you were paid.
This may not be good enough anymore as many Internet
business opportunities now allow you to set up your own
online store and be paid instantly for product sales and
enrolling new members.
3. What is the training and backend support like? You
cannot put a value on having someone accessible to you when
you have a question. Unless you already know everything you
are going to need to be trained on how to do Internet
marketing.
Back end support can include things such as conference
calls, marketing materials, websites, a system for taking
the money and delivering the product, and so on.
4. Is the company established? I am not one of these
people, who needs to join a company that is 15 or 20 years
old. The Internet is full of exciting opportunities and
many of these are fairly new.
It is important to me that the people I will be dealing
with operate from a position of integrity and are
interested in helping me make money.
I say this because some people will eliminate potential
money making programs because they have not been in
business for a set number of years. That will be a personal
call on your part, but to me that is not one of the most
important things I'm looking at.
This is an online money making program check list that I
personally use when evaluating a program that I am going to
join. You may have other things that are important to you,
but the key is that you come up with a system and follow it
when evaluating the opportunity and doing your own due
diligence.
