The lifeblood of any MLM business is leads. Hot, fresh
leads are a necessity to success, but where do you get
leads like that? You could buy them and hope for the best
or you could generate them yourself. Lead generation is
done in any of several ways. Here are a couple of ideas and
how best to use them.
Article writing Reading an article on any subject carries a
great deal of weight. If it appears in print, it must be
true, right? Well, that's what people think anyway and it
has led to an upswing in submissions to article directories.
Article marketing has taken a turn for the better as a lead
generation tool. The written word is extremely powerful and
can generate some serious targeted traffic. Since the
reader is interested in the topic of the article, the
chance of a conversion is greater. When it comes to free
traffic, this is the absolute best you can do.
A well written article can persuade readers to look at
something further. This is the basis for article writing as
a lead generation tool. An article can be written by you or
you can hire a writer to do the job for you. The article
should detail the benefits of your product or service and
offer your link. Most, if not all, article directories have
a resource box at the end of the article once it is
published. This is where you direct the traffic to your
site or landing page.
List builders These are a variation of lead capture pages
crossed with a safe list mentality. It is a very simple
concept:
1. You join a list builder program.
2. You then join several lists from the member's area.
These are, of course, your sponsor's links to those
programs.
3. When you are all done setting this up, you will have
several list programs working for you. The best part is
that you only need to promote one central URL to bring
people to them.
The central URL is the key point to using list builders as
a lead generation tool. Especially in a funded proposal
system of marketing. You save money on advertising, you
save time and you have an in-grown way of tracking your
lead capture pages. By using a different landing page or
front end offer for each individual list builder, you can
easily see what is working and what is not working. You get
a real time report on what your prospects are responding to.
In addition, you have the ability to send your ad to those
contacts at least once a week. The list building programs
will allow you to send your ad to these people. This could
vary from once a week to once a day. So the possibility of
sending your ads to hundreds or maybe even thousands of
people is a real one.
Realizing that conversion and click rates is a numbers
game, the more ads you send the higher response you can
expect and the more sales you can look forward to. The best
part is it's basically free advertising that results in
targeted leads coming to your door.
