The Right MLM Opportunity - How to Choose One

With all the MLM opportunities out there, how do you pick
one that will serve you best? If you are looking for
Get-Rich-Quick schemes or Fast-Cash programs, then this
article is definitely not for you. However, if you want to
create true success and a solid long-term income using
MLM/Network Marketing, then read on.

First of all, I want to point out that MLM/Network
Marketing is a real business, even though many companies
fail to present their opportunity as a real business. MLM
is a method of distributing products from the manufacturer
to the end consumer. Most MLM enthusiasts know that, but
when we are presented with fancy websites and attractive
Pay Plans that promise riches, we tend to forget the real
purpose of Multi Level Marketing.

Why do we need to remember the real purpose of MLM? Because
if a MLM company is not fulfilling that purpose then it is
not offering a real opportunity to make money in the long
run. It is just a scheme to move money from the masses to a
few.

With that said, what should you look for in a MLM company?
Here are some guidelines to keep in mind:

1. Customer Service - How well does the company treat its
distributors? Are they willing to answer questions
courteously and quickly? How willing are they to take care
of mistakes and problems? Bad customer service will kill
any business, MLM or not MLM.

2. Management - Are they experienced enough to run a
successful MLM company? Growth can be difficult to manage,
especially in MLM. How strong is their commitment to
distributors?

3. Startup Costs - There is no reason for a MLM company to
require a large investment up front, or to ask you to stock
up on products. You should not have to pay to sell THEIR
products. A company that wants to build a long-term
business will be more than happy to have you as their
distributor at no charge or at a small sign up fee.

4. Price and Quality of Products - Are the products
overpriced and/or of poor quality? If they are, then the
MLM Company that you are considering is going to have a
very hard time surviving in the long run. Ask this simple
question to yourself and answer it honestly... Would you
buy the products at the prices offered if there was no
incentive to make money? If your honest answer is no, then
you may not have a business that will last.
