Using eBay to Generate Traffic

Go the eBay way!!!

You have a website and you are desperately trying to
increase the web traffic. Have you considered using eBay?
EBay is perhaps the most cost effective solution to promote
you website and subsequently generate more traffic for your
website. Well, this is how it works….

You are not the only one out there looking for ways to
generate more traffic. There are millions of website owners
trying to carve their niche in the virtual world by
advertising their website using a solid marketing tool.
Unfortunately, most overlook the significance of ebay and
the pivotal role it plays in website promotion. With more
than 65 million registered users worldwide who browse on
the eBay website every now and then to buy or sell
products, it shouldn't be difficult to guess what it would
be like if even five percent of these users were drawn to
your website..…

The good news is …. You can actually pull this traffic to
your website and that too it is very simple! All you need
to do is have a good eBay 'Me' page for your eBay ID. Allow
me to explain. Let us assume a particular potential
customer looks at your auctions and your ID. On the same
page, they will see a small "Me" icon that is linked to
your Me page which can be in turn linked to your website.
For instance, you are a website owner and sell a course on
how to promote your business using the Internet. Now if you
want to pull some of the eBay traffic, you may begin by
compiling a small report on what Internet marketing is all
about and offer it for sale at an incredibly low price.
While the report should essentially include interesting and
relevant stuff about Internet marketing, it should also
pre-sell the main product – setting up your own business
course that's for sale on your website.

Although this will be the proposed action plan, you will
need a powerful auction advertisement along with an
enticing 'Me' page to divert online communities to your
website.

Go for a "Featured Plus" auction in order to top the
auction list. It should preferably be a Dutch auction so
that you can sell several items through the same auction.
Don't forget to add an enticing title to grab the attention
of all those precious visitors whom you are counting on to
advance your business. Many website owners have offered
something for free on their 'Me' page so that visitors are
compelled to check out your site.

Do try out these 'tried and trusted formulas' .. they have
worked wonders for others and will surely work out for you
as well!!!
