If you believe that affiliate marketing is your ideal home
business opportunity, then you need to sit down and find
answers to what I call the '3 Power Points' of affiliate
and Internet marketing.
Before going anywhere near an affiliate program you will
need to define your route to success by looking deep inside
yourself and discovering exactly what you're looking to
achieve.

Do you really BELIEVE that it is possible for you to
succeed at affiliate marketing...
I hope that you have already spent many hours researching
the whole concept of Internet marketing and how to become
an affiliate. Let me tell you that contrary to what
so-called 'gurus' will tell you - you are unlikely to
become a milionaire overnight.
You must believe that it is POSSIBLE for you to make your
living from affiliate marketing. Without this self belief,
you will not succeed.
By being a little imaginative, you should be able to
capitalize on what's already working for other people - if
it works for them, it surely must work for you too.
There are literally thousands of people trying to do the
same as you, trying to make money as an affiliate. Many are
making money, but far more are not, but believe in yourself
and this will be an advantage...
You will be competing with many others to sell the same
product or service, but write a better headline, a more
informative review, make your whole 'pitch' relevant to the
prospect and you will make it work, but have the belief
even when you think it's not working - keep believing,
using your creativity and you will begin to see results.
You see, many others would have given up and gone back to
their 'day-job', which means less competition and higher
quality from you, making it easier for prospects to choose
you over the dross they've just navigated away from.

WHY do you want to start a business as an affiliate
marketer...
Do you have a job right now? If so, chances are you're
working 9-5 in a nice office and you've got the company of
plenty of other people to socialize with every day.
OK, the commute in and back home again might be a grind,
but at least you have a pay check at the end of the month -
are you really prepared to give all that up? WHY...
My situation was that my existing business required
personal interaction with my clients, which I'd just had
enough of. The problem was that I got the flak from the
client if things went wrong, and the moaning from supliers
continually wanting more sales. I wanted to find a medium
that could take that away - the Internet
What's your reason WHY? Find it and understand it, then
commit to it

Not the leap of faith, but a JUMP of KNOWLEDGE...
What does that mean???
Well, the only way to learn, is to jump right in, but you
don't want to fall into any old program, especially if it's
likely to cost you anything.
If we go back to the start of this article, I presumed that
you have been spending many hours investigating many of the
affiliate marketing programs on the Internet and that you
have a good idea of what's good and what isn't.
In many cases, you may only cost yourself time, but in
actual fact, there are some programs that even try to
eliminate much of that restraint too.
Identify a ready-made-business that's been in operation for
a few years with authentic testimonials and then sign-up.
By doing it this way, you shouldn't have to worry about
designing and building a website, or even much of the
marketing as that should already have been produced for
you, all you have to work on is promoting your new business
and by using many of the free resources available, you
should be up and running quite quickly.
My point is - just do it!
I spent way too long trying to find the 'perfect program'.
It doesn't exist, but if you find a reputable program with
proof it works, get involved...make that JUMP.
