Or why not start a newsletter yourself? Put up a link in
your website where visitors can sign in for your
newsletter, and make sure that you include informative and
relevant content in each mailing. A freebie or two would
also be nice, plus your website links, of course. If you
want, you can even provide updates about changes to your
site, or information about new products or services. But
avoid turning your newsletter into an advertising heap.
Otherwise you're going to see a lot of canceled
subscriptions down the road.
Joint ventures with another site owner, participating in
traffic exchange programs, or article writing and
submission are other methods for pulling in targeted
traffic. It's not going to be easy, but you just have to
figure out which are the best ways for you. After all,
your goal is to get more targeted traffic for your
business, which means more earnings for you!
