In this article we are going to look at a typical workday
for an affiliate marketer. We will go on the assumption
that you are lucky enough to stay at home and work for
yourself full time. So what are you going to do all day now
that do not have to get up and go to work.
You may grab for a cup of coffee and hit your computer
where you log on and check e-mail. Along with checking
email comes the fun part of checking your statistics to see
if you made any sales while you are asleep. You probably
did.
Back to your email. As a professional affiliate marketer,
you know the importance of maintaining relationships with
fellow affiliate marketers. For this reason, you always
take the time to answer any reasonable in email messages.
After quickly determining that your websites and blogs are
functioning properly it is time to create a new blog post.
You already have a swipe file where you get ideas and today
you decide to write an article that you have been seeing a
lot of discussion going on in your favorite Internet
marketing forum.
You you bring up your Word tracker software to find a
keyword that receives a 100 or 200 searches a month for the
keyword that you want to target in your blog article. You
are able to write your article quickly because you based it
around the keyword where you use it in the title, once in
the body, and again in the closing paragraph. In the body
you hit 3 or 4 main points.
You also take a little extra time and social bookmark your
blog post to your favorite social directories. Because you
believe in article marketing you decide to take your blog
article and expand on it for an article that you can submit
online to various article directories.
You use Submit Your Article to get your articles out
online, which allows you to rewrite your article and turn
it in to hundreds of unique variations. All totaled, you
will spend approximately 1-2 hours blogging, social
bookmarking, expanding your article, and rewriting it at
Submit Your Article.
The rest of the day is spent creating back links to your
website and blog. You do this by posting comments on blogs
that relate the theme of your blog, and by writing posts in
various discussion forums. You understand that as a
professional affiliate marketer, to keep the checks coming
in you have to work just like you would if you got up and
went to regular job.
