How to Find Profitable ClickBank Products

Congratulations, you've decided that this is the business
for you. You've signed up to be a ClickBank affiliate and
you're all set to go, now how to find the best products to
promote.

Within the ClickBank website there is the ClickBank
marketplace where all the available products are listed.
This listing is updated regularly each evening.

When you search the marketplace listings you can search
through several categories such as Business-to-Business or
Fun and Entertainment. Each category has subtitles like
Web Design or Psychics. You can narrow down your searches
with key words. You've now got a long list of products
available, which is sorted by popularity. For each listing
there is a percentage shown, which is the amount of
commission you would receive for selling that particular
item. For your own sake you want to try to stick with
products that have a commission rate of at least
twenty-five percent. Commission payouts run from one cent
up to one hundred dollars.

Check out the various products available and find the types
of products you are interested in promoting. The high
ranked products are popular but that also means there are a
lot of people promoting them. You may want to try some of
the lower ranked products as there are less people selling
those same products. However, you still want to try to
stick to products that offer you a reasonable commission.
Try to keep to products where your commission is at least
twenty-five percent.

Read over their sale pages well, read them as if you were
the one looking to buy. Would the ad impress you? Does it
give you enough information? Would it make you want to buy
the product? Is it clear what type of customer service is
offered? If the answer is yes, you've got a good product
to try. If the ad leaves you cold it will probably do the
same to people you refer to the site.

While you are checking over the product pages there are
things you need to watch for that can reduce your chances
of making a sale even when you have a really good product.

Is the ad crowded with far too many links diverting your
attention from the product and getting to the order page?
Do you see offers for free reports or sign ups for a
mailing list? These are ways that a vendor can develop a
list of leads to follow up on later stopping you from
receiving a commission. Is there a clear link that would
send your customer to a page where he or she could sign up
to become an affiliate? There goes your commission as they
could then just purchase the product for themselves. Are
there several different payment options listed or does the
site use a pop-up when the customer exits that takes them
to a place where they can make a sale that doesn't use
ClickBank? Either of these will put you in a position
where you will not receive the commission.

Bottom line, there is nothing stopping you from still using
this product but you may want to recommend changes the
vendor that he can make that will still get him sales but
protect your commission.
